Shortly after, they were lowered into a large, expansive bunker full of science equipment.

"What is this place...?" Ron asked, curious.

"The Institute for Advanced Neurodynamic Studies..." Kim read.

"I've heard of this place..." Athena replied. "They're making amazing breakthroughs with uploading extra bytes of data directly into the human brain."

"Wow, I had no idea brains were that big," Ron said as he looked at a hologram brain on display with amazement. "How do they fit in our heads?"

"Focus, Ron." Kim and Athena told him at the same time which made them laugh from that.

They soon continued to go around.

"This feels like a museum," Martin said. "Too bad we can't meet Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt."

LJ nodded. "Yeah..."

They passed by what seemed to be a tank of jellyfish as they continued to wander in through.

"Makes me think of that redheaded science teacher who talks about world domination with her pet mice." Elyse said as they traveled along.

Martin gave a thumb's-up to that as Kim put Wade onscreen.

"Hey, Wade?" The redhead asked. "Spooky quiet in here. Any answers?"

"Shego might be using a cloaking device," replied Wade. "She's in there, but I can't pick up any heat signatures."

"That feels scary with the powers that Shego possesses." Jenny shuddered.

"Tell me about it." Kimberly agreed.

"Did you try running a 60-80 thermal security override?" Athena suggested.

"I didn't," Wade smiled as that seemed to inspire him as he tried to do just that. "Uh, good call, I'll give it a try."

Kim blanched at that. "Uh... Never mind, we got it." she replied, shutting off the com-link.

Ron soon heard and saw something that seemed to pique his interest.

"Huh? Ron? You gotta stick with the group." Elyse told him.

"Yeah, yeah, in a minute..." Ron said as he walked off away from, Kim, Kimberly, LJ, Raul, Martin, Jenny, and Athena.

Elyse sighed from that as she soon followed after him, though she felt like she would probably regret this.

Ron came up to a tank, then read aloud the label before chuckling a bit. "'Naked Mole Rat'? Heh... Naked..."

"Oh... I see where this is going..." Elyse said to herself.

Ron approached the tank and gave a few taps on it. "Hello? Anyone home...?" he asked.

Elyse shrugged to herself as she decided to go explore with him.

"You decent?" Ron called gently.

The rat seemed to wander out a bit.

"Oh, wow!" Ron beamed. "Coolest thing ever."

The rat seemed to back away shyly.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you, little guy," Ron cooed to the rat. "You can come out now. You're safe with me."

"Aww... He's shy..." Elyse cooed. "I think he'll like you though, Ron."

The small, hairless rodent watched as Ron opened the tank door, and then scampered into his outstretched hand.

"Aw, he likes you." Elyse beamed at Ron.

"You're shy and weird," Ron chuckled as he held the rat in his hands. "And I like weird. Never be normal, that's what I always say."

"That's the Ron Stoppable motto." Elyse replied.

"You said it, sister," Ron nodded to her. "It looks like I've made me a friend."

"That's great, Ron," Elyse smiled. "Now come on, we better go find the others."

"Hm... Okay." Ron replied as he followed Elyse.

Kim, Athena, and the others continued to explore a bit as they didn't seem to find Shego.

"No signs of her anywhere." LJ sulked a bit.

"Hey, Kim?" Ron called out as he came over with Elyse.

"Ron, did you find anything?" Kim asked him.

"I sure did," Ron smiled as he held out his hands to show his possible new pet. "Kim Possible, meet Rufus Stoppable."

"Hey, little guy," Kim cooed at the rat. "What is he?"

"Naked Mole Rat." Ron smiled proudly.

Rufus chittered and gave a thumb's-up. "Oh, yeah!" he squeaked.

"I wonder what they were gonna do with you, little guy?" Kimberly cooed due to her love of animals, especially one that was lik Rufus.

"Hey, I bet they were testing the brain data transfer process on these little guys before trying it on humans," Athena guessed as she pet Rufus too. "Hey, buddy, am I right? Did they make you super smart?"

"Uh... Could be..." Rufus squeaked from that.

"Oh, man... Drakken is going to unleash an army of super-smart mole rats," Ron gasped as he decided to help protect Rufus. "Better hide in my backpack, buddy."

"Or maybe Drakken wants to be able to download vast amounts of information into his own brain," Athena then suggested. "But, to do that, he would need some sort of modulator that translates machine learning into brain waves, and-...Kim, could I talk to Wade again?"

"You're just Little Miss Exposition aren't you with your lucky guesses?" Jenny remarked a bit suspiciously.

"I guess I'm just lucky." Athena shrugged bashfully.

"Nothing wrong with a little luck!" Raúl replied.

"Wade, can you run a check on the lab for any sort of Zakadamium-based brain modulators?" Athena asked as she activated Kim's comlink.

"Uh, M-21, T-43... Q-46!" Wade replied as he took a look.

"Bingo! Where is it?" Athena beamed.

"Sector 12, to your left." Wade instructed.

"And that's where we'll find Shego," Athena beamed as she soon ran off with Ron. "Come on!"

"Man, beautiful and brilliant!" Raúl gushed. "She's the total package~!"

"You really like this girl, huh?" Jenny asked.

"I gotta say, yeah..." Raul smiled bashfully. "I've never felt this way about anybody before."

"Yes, you have." The others deadpanned slightly.

"Yeah, but this time it feels genuine!" Raúl protested. "I can feel it with every molecule in my body!"

"You've said that before too." Martin remarked.

"Come on, guys, I really think this could be it!" Raul told them.

"Mm-hmm..." The others replied as they walked off together to go with Ron and Athena.

"I was just about to say we need to find the... Brain modulator... Power cube thing." Kim said to Wade.

"Really?" Wade deadpanned, unimpressed with her request.

"Argh! You guys just don't get it!" Raúl snapped as he stormed off. "Like I'd ever expect any of you to!"

The others looked to each other before sighing softly.

"Should we apologize?" Martin asked.

"Probably when he's had enough time to cool down." Jenny suggested.

"Might take a while." LJ replied.

They soon ran along as a familiar-looking woman with black and green reached for what looked like a diamond on display. The others were soon rushing down the stairs as they ran out to finally see her and what she was doing.

"Shego." Kim greeted.

"Possible," Shego replied. "It's been too long."

"Can't say I was feeling particularly nostalgic." Kim remarked.

"Just no double entendres like wanting to tie up Kim, that's how fan fictions get started." Elyse advised.

"Somehow I doubt that's gonna be a problem." LJ replied, taking a fighting stance.

"Hey, step away from the cube and put your hands where I can see them." Athena demanded.

"Who's this?" Shego asked about Athena.

"She's with me," Kim replied. "Along with these others."

"Yeah, but why is she the one giving me orders, though?" Shego smirked about Athena as she teased Kim. "Oh, is she in charge now? Did you get demoted?"

"E-E-Enough talk, Shego." Elyse glared, though she looked bashful.

"You okay?" LJ asked her.

"Yeah... I'm fine..." Elyse said, a bit embarrassed right now.

"You seem distracted," replied LJ. "Well, just remember this: Shego is bad news with a capital 'B-N'. If she wanted to, she could blast you to cinders."

"Heh... Right..." Elyse nodded bashfully. "I think she's about to give us a reminder."

Shego soon proved her point by shooting her trademark blasts at them as they all ran to dodge from them.

"Hmm... In this reality, Shego's energy blasts come from her wrist gauntlets," LJ noted. "Ironic, considering that was the original plan for her."

"Where do you get this information from anyway?" Kimberly asked curiously.

"I look it up online," LJ replied. "Sometimes I get a little curious about stuff."

"Hmm... Interesting." Kimberly remarked as they dodged Shego's blasts of death.

Kim dashed away as Shego soon swooped down to land in front of her to stop her from going any further.

The two soon got into a fist-fight together once they were in front of each other.

Kim managed to kick the cube out of Shego's grip, sending it tumbling across the floor. "Athena, the cube!" she exclaimed, pointing at it. She then made a run for it, only for Shego to grab her and throw her back roughly.

Athena bent down and picked up the cube as Shego began warming up her power gauntlet again.

"Athena! No!" Raúl exclaimed in terror.

Luckily Athena managed to get out of the way before Shego opened fire, destroying two of the terrarium displays. The cube was soon flying through the air as Athena fell to the floor. Everyone watched with suspense as the cube landed up on the platform where Shego just was.

"Ugh! I just got that thing down!" Shego growled.

"That sucks." Elyse chuckled at her.

"Heads up!" Ron called as he tossed Kim her grappling gun.

Kim took it, aimed upwards and fired, and the hook wrapped around a ceiling fixture. She was pulled upwards, and Shego used her energy blasts to propel herself upward. Kim got to the cube first, but Shego wasn't ready to give it up without a fight. Suddenly, a laser-cut through part of the platform they were standing on, and Shego almost fell, clutching the platform to keep from falling.

"What are you DOING?!" Kim called down.

"Sorry! I was just trying to help!" Athena replied sheepishly.

Shego's hands slipped as she looked like she could fall very soon.

"Where'd that laser come from?" Martin asked.

"I got it from Kim's room." Athena replied.

Shego scraped along as she tried to keep going up to keep herself from slipping and falling.

"I didn't think you'd mind, considering-" Athena told the redheaded girl.

"It's okay," Kim told her firmly. "I got this."

"Look out!" Ron pointed as Shego climbed back to her feet.

"No... You... DON'T!" Shego roared, kicking Kim and sending her tumbling off the edge of the platform.

"Ooh..." The others winced a bit from that.

Kim soon took out her grappling hook to save herself as she fell dramatically.

"I got it. I got it! I got it!" Ron said as he rushed over to grab the cube.

"I got it! I got it!" Kim called out as she swung wit her grappling hook like a vine.

"I got it! I got it!" Ron said as he ran by before stopping as he winced like he expected to get hit.

"Ron, I got it." Kim told him before she swung towards him.

"Guys, look out!" Martin and Jenny called out.

But it was too late, and both Kim and Ron ended up getting knocked into a nearby tank, which slammed shut. The cube hit the ground, and Athena ran to get it.

"Ron... You okay?" Kim asked, managing to stand up.

"This water is... Like, the perfect temperature," commented Ron. "Not too hot, not too cold..."

As he talked, Kim saw something moving through the water. "Ron, get up!" she then told him, and he complied. "There's something in the water with us!"

"Oh...!" Ron remarked, curious.

"We gotta get them out of there!" Elyse said, reaching for her wand. "Huh...? Where... Where's my wand?"

"Wait, you mean you don't have it?!" asked LJ. "But what could've happened to it?"

"I-I don't know!" Elyse panicked. "I had it with me before my dad dropped us off!"

LJ sighed. "Then you must've dropped it somewhere. We'll discuss this later!" he replied.

Elyse whimpered a bit.

"Kim, Ron, whatever you do, don't panic!" Kimberly advised. "We'll help you out!"

"Uh... Guys, little help?" Athena squeaked as she picked up the cube and made a break for it.

Shego rolled her eyes as she slowly came after her...with Raul now in hot pursuit.

"Let's hope we can help them!" Martin told Elyse as Kim pounded her fists on the door of the tank.

"I wish your cousin Akito Fudo were here." Kimberly said.

"Yeah, me too." LJ agreed since Akito could probably tap the glass and shatter it with his strength.

Athena hid away as Shego came after her.

"You better stay away from Athena!" Raul glared.

"Aw, get a life, kid," Shego rolled her eyes, shoving him away as she came around for Athena. "I'm afraid your little besties can't come out to play right now. It's just me and what's about to be left of you!" But when she looked over, she saw nothing.

Behind her, Raul spun his belt buckle, becoming Turbo Tigre. "I said... STAY... AWAY... FROM HER!" he snarled, his voice taking on a bestial quality.

Meanwhile, inside the tank, Ron suddenly twitched and spazzed.

"What... Just zapped... Us...?" asked Kim, panting.

"If I had to guess...?" replied Ron, pointing at the label on the tank. "...Electric eel."

Kim began to hyperventilate. "Ron... I never told you this..." she panted. "...But I am TERRIFIED OF ELECTRIC EELS!"

"Well, isn't that nice that after all this time we're still learning about each other?" Ron smiled nervously.

"Ron!" Kim glared as that wasn't helping.

Jenny tried to lunge out at the tank, but failed.

"What were you trying to accomplish?" Martin asked his sister.

"Something I saw on TV once..." Jenny muttered wearily.

LJ cracked his knuckles. "Okay, stand back, you two!" he exclaimed. "I got this!" He threw a pair of razor-disks at the tank, which made some deep scratches in it. Next, he cannonballed towards the scratches, shattering the glass.

The others sighed with deep relief from that. Shego stalked around as Athena still hid away with the cube, running off whenever she had the chance.

"What's gonna be black, and blue, and green, and red all over?" Turbo Tigre glared as he came to stop Shego.

"A little early for Halloween, aren't we?" Shego retorted as she saw him.

Turbo Tigre chuckled sarcastically. "I could ask you the same thing," he replied, getting his claws out. "However... I don't have that sort of time."

"Well, then, this should be fun..." Shego smirked as she brought out a green blast in her hand. "For me."

"Just try it, bruja!" Turbo Tigre remarked as he lunged, claws at the ready.

Shego and Turbo Tigre soon began to fight each other as Athena tried to be quiet and careful with the cube. LJ and the others helped Kim and Ron to their feet and regain their bearings.

"You guys okay?" Elyse asked.

"Y-Yeah, I think so..." Ron panted a bit.

"I never knew Kim Possible was afraid of electric eels." Martin said.

"No one did." Kim pouted a bit.

"I guess you can't be blamed for that," Kimberly replied. "Eels are really scary."

"I'm not afraid of Black Cuervo, I'm not afraid of you!" Turbo Tigre's voice yelled.

"Was that your cousin?" Kim asked the Mazinsky twins.

"It's a long story." Martin and Jenny replied.

Turbo Tigre roared and slashed Shego with his razor claws, sending her flying back. "Take that!" he told her with a glare.

"Ya got spunk, kid," Shego glared back as she had a painful landing. "I gotta admire that."

"Thanks," replied Turbo Tigre. "You have plenty as well."

"Too bad we're on different sides," Shego smirked. "I could recruit you."

"Sorry, but my dad already had the struggle of choosing good or evil, so I'm not gonna do that either," Turbo Tigre told her. "I'm a good guy through and through."

"Good guy... Been there, done that," replied Shego. "Long story short? I got bored."

"You a good guy?" Turbo Tigre asked. "No way."

"It's a long story," Shego huffed. "I'd tell ya, but I gotta take the trash out and you're with it."

"Not gonna happen!" Turbo Tigre remarked as he shot his grappling claw around Shego's legs and yanked it back, making her fall over.

"Argh!" Shego grunted with extreme discomfort.

"Game over, Shego," proclaimed Turbo Tigre. "You're not getting the cube thing."

The others soon rushed in and met up to see that Turbo Tigre about had this case wrapped up with Shego.

"Your timing is impeccable," Turbo Tigre remarked. "Especially after I already beat Shego..."

"That's usually my job." Kim replied.

"Tell me about it." Shego muttered slightly.

"First time for everything." Turbo Tigre shrugged.

"Alright, now where's the cube?" Kimberly asked.

"I thought maybe Athena had it, "Turbo Tigre said. "Uh... Wherever she is right now."

"Huh... Where is Athena, anyway?" asked Jenny.

"I'll go look for her," Turbo Tigre replied. "She could be hiding around here.

Athena peeked out a bit as she hid away.

"Athena? Athena!" Turbo Tigre called out.

Athena came out a bit.

"Oh, there you are," Turbo Tigre smiled. "Let's get out of here."

"Um... Thanks," Athena replied. "Who are you?"

"I'm called Turbo Tigre." The hero remarked.

"Turbo Tigre... You sound so strong and powerful." Athena said as she stood up beside him.

"Heh. Well, I try my best with a pretty lady." Turbo Tigre chuckled a bit.

"Well, I suppose I owe you my gratitude." Athena continued as Turbo Tigre's face (at least the amount that was exposed under his mask) began to turn red.

"Aw, shucks... L-Let me get that for you..." Turbo Tigre smiled bashfully as he reached out for the cube.

Athena smirked as she leaned in and kissed him. Turbo Tigre shivered a bit while blushing brightly and chuckled almost into like a Goofy guffaw that sounded like the cartoon dog's laughter.

"Okay," replied Athena. "Now let's get back to the others."

"Heheh... Yeah..." Turbo Tigre blushed as he walked off with her as he had hearts in his eyes.

Soon, they regrouped with Kim and the others.

"Glad to see you're okay, Athena," replied LJ. "Looks like Turbo Tigre really lent a helping paw."

"Yes, he was so brave and helpful." Athena smiled warmly.

"Sorry, Shego, but I think we gotta make like the Beatles and split with our gal pal." Elyse soon said.

"Uh... Yeah!" Martin added. "So sorry we can't stay, but not really!"

And so, they began to leave after the defeat of Shego. Shego angrily grumbled to herself as the group left.

"Okay, so apparently we have to find Elyse's wand," explained LJ. "Can you think of any time it could've fallen out of your bag, E?"

"I'm not sure," Elyse replied thoughtfully. "I didn't bring it to this mission."

"Maybe it's at the school or in Kim's house?" Jenny suggested.

"Yeah... That sounds about right..." Elyse replied.

"Then we'll have to check the school." LJ replied as they headed back to Middleton.

"Aren't you too old to be playing with a toy wand?" Kim asked.

"Oh, I ain't playin' and it's not a toy." Elyse told her.

"She's right, the wand is real," LJ replied. "Take it from someone who knows firsthand."

"So... What... You're a witch?" Kim asked.

"A witch-in-training, but yeah," Elyse said, feeling frazzled. "Ugh... Graunts Hilda and Zelda and Grunkle Drell are gonna bury me!"

"Now, now, calm down," Kimberly told her. "We'll get it back, you'll see."

"Yeah..." LJ agreed. "Say, you wouldn't happen to have some way to track your wand's location, would you?"

"Ugh... Not that I know of..." Elyse bit her nails nervously.

"Why don't you ask your father for help?" A voice asked.

"He would think and keep treating me like a baby until I'm like 45," Elyse groaned. "...Who said that?"

"Elyse, you are my little girl, but if you tell me what's wrong, I can help you, even if it might be bad." Thor smiled as he was shown to be on a school motivational poster on the wall behind her.

"Didn't know Thor could do that," replied LJ. "Either way, Elyse, there's no shame in asking for help."

Thor soon hopped out of the poster in his physical form.

"Daddy..." Elyse sighed. "I lost my wand. I don't know how, but I dropped it."

"So I see... You were in such a rush on your first time with classes around here, so you misplaced it," Thor said as he pulled on thin air with his two fingers pinched together as he formed Elyse's wand through his magic. "I'm not mad, El, but you should try to be more careful with this. If this wand got in the wrong hands, we'd all be in a lot of trouble."

"Yeah, that goes without saying," Martin nodded. "Good thing you found it."

"Thank you... Um, Daddy? I think I should go home for the rest of this mission." Elyse said.

"You sure?" Thor asked. "You kinda can't turn back from these once they start."

Elyse looked very sad with sad puppy dog gray eyes.

"Oh..." Thor frowned softly. "All right... Guys, I'm sorry," he then told the others. "I think Elyse needs to cool down for a little while."

"Can you tell us what's up with the Eds while you're here?" Martin asked. "We're just curious."

"Hmm... I guess I could do that... Elyse, you go wait in your room, someone wants to see you anyway." Thor smiled to his daughter as he used his magic on her.

Elyse seemed to turn into a pod before it flew off to take her back home.

"The Eds, huh? Lemme see..." Thor said as he took out what looked like a tablet to go check on the three boys from the cul-de-sac neighborhood that was known as Peach Creek.

"I thought I already told you guys earlier." replied LJ.

"Yeah, you did, I just wanna see if they're happy," Martin said. "They seemed a bit mopey in their hometown lately, though I might be thinking of before they met Princess Angelica and Professor T. Bird."

"Yeah, most likely." replied Jenny.

"I doubt they've got much time to BE happy, whatnot with the nigh-impossible task they've been saddled with." LJ added.

"Well, they seem to be having fun," Thor told them as he showed what was going on with the Eds on his tablet. "Especially Eddy with Angelica."

"Huh... Really?" LJ looked in. "I guess they're finding time for fun. Good for them."

"Guess Uncle Drell was onto somethin' when that Princess Angelica chose the Eds to become the BattleToads to protect her against the Dark Queen Belladonna." Thor smiled.

"Sure seems like it," replied Martin. "The whole experience has really allowed them to grow and change as people."

"I should say so," Thor smiled as he made his tablet disappear. "Well, I guess I'll let you guys go on with your little adventure. My daddy senses tell me that I'd better keep El some company."

"You're a great dad, Thor." Kimberly beamed.

"Thank you, I try," Thor replied as he soon walked down the hallway before he seemed to fade away as his voice echoed. "Goodbye, kids."

"Goodbye, Mr. Thor." said Martin and Jenny as they waved.

"Well... At least they'll be okay for a little longer," LJ replied. "What now?"

"Guys... You don't think Athena is better than me, do you?" Kim asked.

"What? No! Why would you ask something like that?" Raul replied.

"Oh... I dunno... She just seemed to be on top from the mission today..." Kim sighed a bit.

"Everyone has an off day," replied Jenny. "It's not the end of the world."

"Yeah, it'll get better," Martin said. "Nobody could be better than Kim Possible."

The others gave Kim a thumbs-up and smiles in response. Kim gave a small smile back as she appreciated their comfort and support.
