The next morning Jae Gu woke up feeling great. His stresses were all but forgotten about for the time being.

His brother and sister were still asleep, so he got up, got dressed and got breakfast ready for his siblings.

During breakfast Jaehyeong and Jaesom noticed that their brother was happy!

The kids shared a knowing smile and ate their breakfast quietly and afterwards they all went over to the bus stop.

"Bye brother!" they said to Jae Gu. "Bye Jaesom, bye Jaehyeong!" Jae Gu said as they got on the bus.

Jae Gu left for school, feeling excited and hopeful for what the day would bring.

Unfortunately when he was half way to school, the day brought Goo Ra High, about five of them.

Jae Gu was quickly surrounded and his hopeful outlook quickly turned to a dark one.

"You're going to pay for yesterday, worker Song!" Kim Han Gyul yells at Jae Gu as he throws an overhand right directly at Jae Gu's face.

With all of the intensive training he has gone through, Jae Gu was able to dodge that punch. He then absorbed several of the next punches thrown from the other goons from Goo Ra High with his guard but he knew he wouldn't be able to keep this up.

Remembering what Lee Go Seul taught him, he braced himself and struck outward to his sides, attempting to take some of them out of the fight. However, all this did was push a few of them back and piss them off.

"What kind of crap are you trying to pull?!" Han Gyul yelled as he threw a haymaker at Jae Gu's head.

But the punch never made it. Han Gyul was unconscious before he hit the ground. He was struck by a lightning fast spinning round kick to the head.

The thugs from Goo Ra High looked up for a brief moment to figure out what had happened, but a brief moment is all that they had left. Moving like a whirlwind, a furious Dal Dal Choi quickly and systematically destroyed each of them. Her second target ate a shuffle side kick to the sternum, instantly crumpling him to the ground. The third was hit with a leaping round kick, cartwheeling him head first into a trash can.

The last two of Jae Gu's attackers tried to make a run for it but Dal Dal was way too fast, as she kicked the next one in the leg and then in the face, which made a crunching sound as his face absorbed her foot.

Her final mark made it one and a half steps before receiving a spinning back kick, likely breaking half of his ribs, and stopping any chance of him getting away.

Those that were still conscious were moaning in pain or retching, as Dal Dal Choi surveyed the scene to make sure that all threats were taken care of.

"Are you okay Jae Gu!" she cried and rushed over to him, wrapping her arms around him and inspecting his face for damage.

"I'm okay sunbae. Thanks to you" he replied sheepishly. "..thank you again for protecting me."

"…but the rules…" one of the still half-conscious thugs said.

"Oh, haven't you heard? The rules of the Wilds have changed." Dal Dal said with an evil grin as she brought up her foot up high in the air, aiming an axe kick right at his head.

A frantic Jae Gu went to warn Dal Dal Choi that she was about to commit murder but the attacker from Goo Ra High fainted immediately.

Dal Dal Choi then brought her foot carefully down to the ground under complete control, a satisfied smile on her face.

Jae Gu just stood there for a moment, a combination of admiration and horror on his face before regaining his composure.

"…how are you here, how did you find me?" he asked her, confused.

"Oh, well, I didn't want to wait until you got to school to see you, so I went to your house so we could walk to school together. You weren't there so I just went the way you would go to get to school. I made you something to eat this morning or I would have found you sooner." she told him apologetically.

"You are too much Dal Dal Choi." Jae Gu tells her, enthralled by this amazing girl.

"Well, all I want is to be enough for you." Dal Dal tells him shyly.

Jae Gu starts blushing and looks down at the ground as Dal Dal puts her hand in his.

"Mind if I walk you to school?" she says, smiling at him.

"Nothing would make me happier." he answers truthfully.

"Dal Dal?" Jae Gu says.

"Yes my love?" Dal Dal answers.

"…I'm really glad that I'm yours." Jae Gu tells her lovingly as he looks into her eyes, remembering what she said to him the day they first met.

Dal Dal smiles her happiest smile as she goes up on her toes and kisses him gently, while they stand among the broken and beaten bodies of those from Goo Ra High.
