I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Naegi gets into an unexpected situation, where the FATE between the two main characters come into play…especially after Enoshima and Naegi in a middle of a possible battle…

Ch. 5: Monsutā rantō

-FLASHBACK-

A few days ago…

Akane Owari was trying out at the track and field team to see if she could qualify and hope that she would get a scholarship in high school, but despite her athletic body, she was unable to qualify and missed the deadline to get a recommendation, as her coach tells her to keep on practicing in the hopes that one day she would get the recommendation she need if her speed time increases.

The scene later shifts at an unspecified grassy area where she was walking and feeling pissed off when she found a strange coin, and seeing a vending machine, she decided to get a drink, but after putting the strange coin inside the slot, nothing came out and Owari kicked the machine in frustration before leaving the area.

However, a strange boy showed up and retrieved the coin from the vending machine, and calls out Owari, thanking her for finding the coin and offered to grant her desire, which Owari at first think he is joking and asked if he is serious about granting someone's wish.

"Thanks. You saved me the trouble of finding this."

"…"

"Allow me to return the favor."

"Huh?"

"Ask me anything you wish…and it'll be granted."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"Fine then…"

The next day…

Owari participated in the track and field practice and to her surprise she could run faster now and her fellow track and field members were amazed at the fact that Owari can run faster, wondering what happened as they feel that she could finally earn the recommendation and scholarship she is trying to covet, believing that she finally earned it.

"Wow…"

"Look at that…"

"Owari-san got faster…"

"I think she could pull it off…"

"Looks like she could finally earn that scholarship…"

"Something good must have happened to her…"

"That might be it…"

"Lucky her…"

However, after reaching the finish line, Owari saw that talons sprout from her feet, and panicking, she hid herself where aside from her feet, her hands sprout beast claws and Owari is bewildered at what is happening to her, and she recalled her counter with the strange boy who said to have granted her wish, and realized that he may have something to do with this.

An hour later…

Owari arrived at the area where she found the strange coin, and to her frustration she couldn't find one and frantically looked around, until she saw Enoshima and Naegi walking by the bridge and overheard them talking about the strange coin they found.

"Say, Naegi-kun…"

"Huh?"

"Do you have any idea about this strange coin…?"

"Uh…no."

"Really?"

"Really. It's the first time I saw that coin…"

"So you don't know…fine."

"…"

Owari realized that they too found the coin and she became determined to take the coin from them and use it to grant her wish to have the beast hands and feet removed from her body.

There Owari stealthily followed the two as she intend to find out where they are heading to and nce she finds the chance she would steal the coin from them and run off.

-END FLASHBACK-

At the present time, Owari appeared outside the sliding door of Enoshima's house and stood there for a moment before she crashed through the window and both Naegi and Enoshima stared at the intruder, who appeared to be a female high school student, who has a rather curvaceous but athletic body, and there she told Enoshima to hand over the coin.

"Okay you."

"…"

"…"

"Hand over that coin."

"What?"

"Huh?"

"Give me the coin or I'll kill you!"

"!"

"!"

Owari is determined to take the coin through any meansand she demanded that Enoshima surrender the coin, or else she would take it by force. Owari made it clear that she will not take NO for an answer, and demonstrated it by grabbing Naegi and did a knee strike before tossing him aside.

There Enoshima brought out the coin and asked if this is the one she wants, which Owari stared wide-eyed in desperation and demanded that she hand it over.

"Is this the one?"

"!"

"If so…"

"Give it to me!"

"Tell me what you know about this coin?"

"Give it to me now!"

"First you talk."

"You wench!"

As Owari is about to take it by force, something grabbed her from behind, where Owari saw Naegi assuming his MONSTER FORM, and he held her by the arms while behind her, immobilizing her as Enoshima tells Naegi to hold her and she asked Owari what she knows about the coin, and a seething Owari assumed that Naegi and Enoshima are members of the Gatherers.

Enoshima raised an eyebrow and asked her about this Gatherers and if that has something to do with the coins, and Owari glared at she and said that it doesn't matter as she will take the coin by force and no one can stop her, as Enoshima and Naegi stared wide-eyed as Owari's arms and legs changed, exhibiting a monstrous form and broke free from his hold, and did a roundhouse kick, sending Naegi crashing against the wall, knocking him down.

Owari stood as she appeared to be normal, and the only difference is that her forearms and feet possess claws, looking beastly in appearance, and Enoshima gritted her teeth as she did not anticipate a situation like this.

A rather overconfident Owari approached the downed Naegi, seeing that his MONSTER FORM looked like a stuffed toy rip-off and commented that Naegi is such a weakling and began to beat him up, enjoying the sounds of him screaming in pain and this made her lower her guard as she is fixated in making Naegi suffer.

"What a weakling!"

"Ow!"

"Is that supposed to scare me?"

"Ow!"

"Hah! Look at you!"

"Ow!"

"I can kill you right here, right now!"

"Ow!"

Seeing this as her chance, Enoshima grabbed something from her bag, which was a pepper spray and she called Owari's attention, and claimed that she is willing to give her the coin if she tells her what secret does she know about the coin, but Owari is fixated in beating up Naegi that she did not notice that Enoshima is positioning the pepper spray in front of Owari's face.

"Hey!"

"…"

"Here's the coin!"

"…"

"I'll give it to you if you tell me!"

"…"

"Are you listening?"

"…"

Seeing that Owari is not paying attention to her, Enoshima smirked and called her a CLAWED BITCH, which caught Owari's attention and she turned around, where Enoshima smiled as she fired the spray and it struck Owari's eyes, causing her to back away while screaming in irritation, and she cursed Enoshima for the sneak attack.

A rather smirking Enoshima tells Owari that it is her fault for not paying attention and reasoned that it is self defense against MONSTERS like her, and a pissed off Owari screamed in anger as she threatened to kill Enoshima though the other girl just brushed off the threat.

"You pigtailed bitch!"

"Hmm…?"

"You'll pay for that!"

"Oh?"

"I'll kill you!"

"Really?"

"Come here!"

"Fuck off."

As Owari is still blinded by the pepper spray, Enoshima backed away and there she tells Naegi to use the chance to strike down Owari while vulnerable, which the transformed Naegi is unsure of what to do.

"Naegi-kun…quick!"

"Huh?"

"This is your chance!"

"Eh?"

"Kill her!"

"But…"

"Just do it!"

"I…"

As Owari is still blinded, she swings her clawed hands wildly while screaming in anger as she searches for her target, and as Naegi recovered, the first thing that came to mind is grabbing Enoshima and jumped through the shattered door before running off, which Enoshima is bewildered as she tells him that instead of running away he should have used the chance to beat Owari up.

However, Naegi said that Owari is too dangerous and he is unsure how to fight her in his current state as he tells her that he doesn't know if he has what it takes to defeat someone like Owari, and that he is not into murdering someone.

"Are you serious?"

"I really can't fight her right now!"

"Why not?"

"I don't know!"

"You got powers…and you can turn into THAT form…"

"That's all I could do! In this form I have senses of an animal, but nothing else!"

"Seriously?"

"Yes!"

As Naegi and Enoshima are bickering, they passed by a couple of bystanders and the bystanders are rather surprised at seeing this, wondering if the two teens are on their way to a cosplay competition, noting that Halloween is still far away.

"Whoa…"

"Look at that…"

"Must be a cosplaying couple…"

"Looks like it."

"But Halloween is still far away…"

"Maybe they're up to something."

"You think so?"

"Maybe…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Akane Owari from Danganronpa 2 appeared…and somehow she appeared to be fixated on the coin Enoshima possess…and it looks she is willing to KILL just to get it, which resulted in a rather BLOODY brawl…

Fortunately, both tens managed to flee, but Owari is pissed as hell…
