A/N: Sorry it's been a while, I'm back with another chapter - lost all motivation to write due to things in my life however I have returned.

As Lena awoke, she looked around and, not spotting Kara, she practically leapt off the sofa in a panic. The panic left her when she felt soft, warm and familiar hands tracing around her middle as Kara pulled her back down.

"It's ok Lena... I'm right here." Kara pulled Lena onto her lap, upon her reaching Kara's lap, Kara began to trace circles around Lena's stomach, making the Luthor shiver, leaning further into the touch. Kara shifted up and moved her head next to Lena's.
"How are you babe?"

Lena shuffled so their heads are next to each other before kissing Kara's chin and whispering.
"I'm good, especially because your here with me." Lena moved a hand to Kara's cheek, brushing the hair out of her girlfriends face before shifting some more and kissing her. Kara began to circle wider until her finger brushed against Lena's boobs, at this, Lena shivered slightly before grabbing the offending hand and holding it tightly. Kara shifted and peeled herself from under Lena.

"Hungry?" Lena nodded and Kara walked off, around to the kitchen, aware that Lena was watching her closely as Kara makes a salad and returns to a now sitting Lena, offering her the salad and smiling as Lena ate. Afterwards, Lena stood up and changed before heading off to work. Upon her exit, Kara reached into her pocket, playing with something and smirking before changing into her Supergirl uniform and leaving.

Several hours later, Lena walked into her home after a long day at work, longing for the weekend with Kara. As Lena walked in, she spotted Kara stood on the balcony with a glass of red wine. Lena smiled at this and approached Kara from behind, hugging her waist and nuzzling her head into Kara's back, kissing it softly before turning the blonde woman around, kissing her almost immediately, their bodies move flush against each others as they embrace, Kara pulling Lena around to the front and letting Lena's hair out of the ponytail it is in. Kara hugs Lena closer and Lena responds by kissing her and hugging closer, tangling her fingers into the blonde curls. After several minutes, Lena pulls back and, grabbing the glass of red wine, drags Kara indoors and onto the sofa, snuggling her close whilst squeezing her slightly, Lena shifts and takes a sip of her wine. When Lena has put the wine down, Kara makes her move and swaps with Lena, ending up with Lena on top, Kara kissing her tenderly and softly, hugging her.

"I love you." Lena breathed, a hint of drunkenness in her voice. Kara smiled widely and hugged Lena close.

"I love you too cutie." Kara kissed her softly and brushed Lena's hair out of her face. Lena blushed at those words as she nudged into Kara's chest, taking one of her arms into her embrace as she drunkenly strokes it.
"S- So stronggg... muscular..." Lena giggled and Kara followed suit, this turned into a full on bout of laughter as both women practically burst from laughing.

"You, Lena Luthor, are the most cute person I've ever met." Kara whispered that into Lena's ear and then smiled as the woman curled up in her embrace turned a shade darker from embarrassment.
"It's c- cutest a- actually." Lena hickuped and that make Kara go again, bursting out with laughter, Lena following. It took several minutes for Kara to get herself under control and when she did she nearly broke down again at the cute look she was getting from her drunken girlfriend, holding an open bottle of alien alcohol and a glass, holding out with puppy dog eyes. Kara relented, taking it and drinking in one, fluttering her eyelids before giggling slightly and taking the bottle, drinking half of what's left before practically collapsing into Lena's lap, giggling relentlessly as she lay there, her eyes red-ringed, making Lena look at her with slight concern. Kara spotted the look and moved away quickly, clumsily making her way to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, Lena following quickly and equally as clumsy as Kara. Lena wrapped her arms carefully around Kara and her eyes turned to water when she was shrugged off and heard a slight sob escape Kara's lips. Lena looked at Kara with worry in her eyes, she watches as Kara just stands there, shaking before turning and hugging Lena tightly. Lena hugged Kara very tightly and kissed her, wiping the tears out of Kara's eyes.

"Kara... what's wrong?" Kara just shook her head and sobbed more, shaking in her grip, crying harder than before. Lena pulled Kara to the bedroom, putting her onto the bed and grabbing Kara a box of tissues, crawling into bed with her and hugging her tightly.

"I'm sorry for b- breaking down on you like that..." Kara looked away slightly out of guilt but smiled when Lena slid her hands around Kara's, holding them tightly.

"It's okay Kara, you obviously needed to get something out." Lena tugged Kara closer and ran her hands through her lovers hair, kissing the blondes head softly.

"I... It's just been rough recently, coming off the tail end of the recent red kryptonite infection, fighting all the monsters showing up, and the looming threat of Lex... it's been a lot for me to handle." Kara shivered slightly leaning even further into Lena's embrace as the pair lay on the bed.

"Thank you for opening up to me." Lena whispered softly into Kara's ear several minutes later, Kara smiled and squeezed Lena's hand.

"No, thank you for letting me." Kara turned around fully and kissed Lena for several minutes before pulling away. Upon doing so, Lena tucked her head beneath Kara's and nuzzles into the Kryptonians chest, kissing it softly before falling asleep in the arms of her lover. Kara soon joined her as she falls asleep.
