As DX regains control of the NXT roster, Seth Rollins and his God girls realise that they might have underestimated just how powerful Sasha's new Gift is.
Chapter Five – El Loco Lass
The Rock's mansion, Los Angeles, CA
Bayley curled up under the Rock's muscular arm playing with her hair while her thoughts raced against each other inside her head. Beth Hardy was sitting on the small sofa looking at the new billboard in Times Square of the Rollins family and the God girls. All eyes were suddenly on them and Bayley's photo shoot with Beth Hardy was no longer the talk of the Internet and neither was the Black Heart Diaries. Bayley's toes scrunched up tight against the sofa, indicating how tense she was about the whole situation. The billboard was a direct hit aimed at her marketing campaign for the Black Heart Diaries. Clearly, Seth and the God girls didn't want Beth Hardy to have anything to do with the Black Heart Diaries. They knew that if they could get Beth Hardy to miss them enough, she wouldn't do anything to hurt them. Bayley was counting on her and if her diverted attention was anything to go by, Beth Hardy was about to let the Black Hearted One down.
"I need to get Seth's attention," Bayley said concertedly biting into her knuckles.
The Rock shrugged, "I don't see how you're going to do that; he's got a new baby and his officiating at his ex-girlfriend's wedding next week. He's a busy man Bayley, I don't think he's gonna have eyes for you right now," the Rock replied.
"I know that," Bayley said shortly and she sighed, "there was a time when he only had eyes for me,"
Beth Hardy snickered, "Yeah, for about three seconds," she said derisively and Bayley shot her a dark look.
"It was for more than three seconds sister, don't underestimate what a hot naked female body can do," Bayley said and Beth squirmed, clearly grossed out by Bayley's comment.
"I so don't want to be part of this conversation," Beth Hardy said and she left to go swim in the Rock's pool.
"I really don't feel comfortable about what you and Stephanie are planning," Rocky said to Bayley when Beth had left the living room. "I think it might be going a little bit too far,"
"Rocky please, stop acting like such a boy scout. The McKenzie-Helmsley wedding is the perfect venue to unleash our next attack and it has to go perfectly," Bayley said.
"But it will put you in serious hot water with the Man Upstairs," Rocky said. "You're actually thinking of doing this on Charlene and Hayworth's wedding day?!"
An evil grin spread across Bayley's face, "I couldn't think of a better time or place but before we get to that, I gotta call Finn Balor and make sure Operation Becky Lynch is going according to plan," Bayley said reaching for her cell-phone and Rocky played with Bayley's hair and kissed her on the forehead as she called the former NXT Champion.
"Can't we just make out on the couch?" Rocky said amorously and Bayley sat up in the couch while Rocky kissed her face.
"There'll be plenty of make out time ahead my love, right now, Bayley's got some business to attend to," Bayley said deviously and Rock's face swelled as she referred to him as her love. The closer they got to their own wedding, the clearer it was that Bayley's obsession with Seth Rollins was becoming a thing of the past. At least, that's what the Rock hoped was happening.
The Sandbox
Becky, Bianca and Bliss came over to the Sandbox and found Roman Reigns waiting to be let inside.
"What are you doing here?" Bianca asked Roman furrowing her brow and Roman shrugged.
"I don't know. Hunter called me last night and told me to come over, he said it was an emergency. Do you know what's going on?" Roman asked Bianca.
"I know a lot of things," Bianca replied as God gave her the reason for Roman being at the Sandbox, "like the fact that I'm a whoop Triple H's butt when I get inside that Sandbox,"
Becky looked up at the West Wing of the Sandbox, "That's probably why Roman's still out here," she said and Bliss looked at Bianca.
"What's Hunter up to?" she asked Bianca.
"What the Bonehead's always up to: no good," Bianca said and she gestured to the open window on the West Wing. "Care to give us a ride through the window?" she said to Becky and the former Women's Champion used her Gift of Flight to pull Bianca, Alexa and Roman through Hunter's bedroom window that was always open.
When they headed towards the kitchen Hunter stood in front of Seth and Sasha while Shawn shook his head.
"Hunter you Bonehead," Shawn said realising what Hunter had gotten up to last night, "Did you really think getting Roman involved was the way to handle this?"
"Handle what?" Roman said and he looked over at Seth who had a very annoyed look on his face. "Are you okay?"
"I will be, once I get Sasha and Abiyah out of this house," Seth replied and Becky looked at Bianca.
"I taught we were here to talk about Stephanie and the Bullett Club?" she asked the E S T.
"We were but Hunter's changed all that, now we're here to talk about Saudi Arabia," Bianca said and Bliss and Becky pouted.
"But we don't want to talk about Saudi Arabia," Bliss replied.
"Yeah, we know all about Saudi, what we don't know is what Finn Balor is up to with Stephanie McMahon," Becky said and Hunter shot the Man a dark look.
"I didn't know anything about Saudi and when I found out exactly what Seth and Sasha had gotten my grandbaby girl into, I had to take action," Hunter said and Shawn sighed.
"Just for the record, I had nothing to do with this. I was asleep when Hunter put this whole plan together. I have no problem with Faith Star going to Saudi Arabia with the Rollins family. I have nothing but the utmost faith in baby Faith Star," Shawn said and Roman looked at DX confused.
"I'm sorry but I have absolutely no idea what you are all talking about. I thought I was here to do Seth's hair, which looks fine by-the-way," Roman said complimenting his best friend's hair. "So, will somone actually tell me what I'm really doing here?"
Seth stepped towards Roman, "Becky's right, we're supposed to be talking about Finn Balor. You came here for nothing Roman, you might as-well just go back home," he said and Hunter gave Seth an incredulous look.
"You stay put Roman, I want you here and as much as Seth might resent it, he needs you here too," Hunter said and Roman looked at Seth.
"Is this about Abiyah?" he asked Seth.
"No, this is about Hunter sticking his nose where it doesn't belong," Seth said irritated, "Hunter found out about what's going to happen when we get to Saudi and he got all hysterical and decided to call you and ask you to come to Saudi and watch Faith Star's back,"
"You mean, like how I watched your back when we were in the Shield?" Roman said. "I love that idea!"
Hunter clapped his hands excitedly, "Yes, I told you it was a good idea! In your face Shawn!" Hunter said pushing Shawn's head back violently.
Becky, Bianca and Bliss shook their heads in unison, "That is a terrible idea," Becky Lynch said and she looked at Roman, "Roman, you have a family and you're full-time on the WWE roster. You can't up and leave to play Shield with Seth and Sasha. The whole point of God assigning Faith Star is that she is more than capable of holding down the fort. Seth and Sasha don't need you to watch their backs,"
"I know they don't need me but I love being the guy Seth goes to for help. I'm the Big Dog of the Shield, it's what I do, it's like a reflex. It would only be for a week, right? That's how long the battle goes on for right?"
"Roman, that is so not the point," Seth said. "The point is, Hunter is interfering in my family's business. God's already got everything in place, you are not part of the plan! As great as it would be to have you at the Royal Palace, it's totally unnecessary,"
"Still, it would be good just to go out there and see what those Saudi rebels are capable of. It wouldn't hurt to have me on standby," Roman said and Becky looked at him incredulous.
"What, so Faith Star can watch you get shot?" Becky said and Bliss and Bianca nodded, "There is no way you'd leave that place alive Roman. You don't have a Gift from God and you have not been assigned to this mission. You'd be walking into an early grave,"
"See, I didn't even tell her that, that's how obvious it is that this is a bad idea," Bianca said to Roman. "Please, for the love of God and country, do not listen to Triple H. Listen to us and Seth, stay away from Saudi,"
"Yeah, when Seth needs his hair done, he'll call you," Bliss said and Roman's face hardened at that comment.
"I can do a lot more for Seth than his hair Alexa," Roman said.
"That's right Roman, I say you should go to Saudi and protect Seth like you always have," Hunter said and Seth turned to the Game.
"You mean like how you are right now? Hunter, ever since Sasha and I moved into the Sandbox, you've been acting like Papa Hunter and now you're encouraging Roman to take a trip that God did not tell him to take. This is not an opportunity for you to flex your perennial muscles. This is not NXT, this is real life and one, albeit well-intentioned, act of disobedience could see Roman get killed. Is that the call you wanna make to his wife and children?" Seth said and Hunter shook his head.
"No, of course not but this is new territory for you and your family Seth. It is unheard of, for any talent to go into battle without backup," Hunter said.
"We have backup Hunter," came the voice of Sasha Rollins who was approaching them with a sleeping Abiyah Rollins and Faith Star next to her. "I was scared when I found out the Truth about Saudi too but now I realise, that we have more than enough coverage to come out clean on the other side. I'm not worried, I have total faith in Faith Star,"
Faith Star looked up at her grandfather, "Don't you have faith in me Grandpa?" Faith Star asked Hunter and Triple H kissed her on the head.
"Of course I have faith in your Faith Star, I always bet on DX and you will never put this family to shame. I just think that it would be lousy of me to let you go into the danger zone and leave your biggest weapon behind, that's all. I guess that's just the wrestling promoter in me," Hunter said and Sasha gave Hunter a big smile.
"I love you too Hunter," she said and she gave Abiyah to Faith Star. "You always want what's best for me and for Seth and I will always love you for that,"
Sasha hugged Hunter and the gesture seemed to calm Hunter down to being less of a Bonehead and Seth took a deep breath.
"Okay, I think sanity has been restored," he said patting his wife on the back and he walked up to Becky, Bianca and Bliss, "sorry about that guys, now let's do what you really came here to do. Let's talk about Finn Balor,"
Shawn looked at his cell-phone which was vibrating as Hunter and Sasha hugged it out, "Um Seth, I think the whole world is talking about Finn Balor," Shawn said and everyone's phones started to vibrate as social media started to blow up. As everyone checked their social media, pictures of Finn Balor and Beth Hardy together on what looked like a date, were being reposted and retweeted at rapid fire pace.
"Looks like the Bullett Club got a new member," Alexa said and Bianca shook her head.
"This is a setup, it's obvious Stephanie is trying to get under Becky's skin by setting her daughter up with Lynch's ex-boyfriend," Bianca said and Becky's cell-phone melted in her hand.
"Becky stop!" Seth said holding onto Becky who was about to take off in a violent burst of fire and scorch the sky on her way to Los Angeles, where Finn and Beth Hardy were currently hanging out. "This is exactly what you expected remember? Stephanie needs to get to you somehow, so that you'll do something stupid and end up back in jail. Flying off in a violent rage is going to make that very easy, just calm down and let's talk this thing through before we make our next move,"
"I know my next move, I have got to get Beth Hardy away from Finn Balor," Becky said fired up.
"No, the first thing you have got to do is calm down," Seth said but Becky was livid.
"I can't calm down, Stephanie's using her own daughter to get to me, I have to fix this before she gets hurt!" Becky said and Seth continued to cool her off with his composure.
"Yes but not like this Becky. You can't be bad-a* Becky Lynch anymore, you have to do things God's way now, so let's talk this out together before you make things worse by not listening to good advice," Seth said and Becky found her red-hot temper cooling off as Seth soothed her with his wise words.
Bianca and Bliss were just as upset but they were just better at hiding it, unlike Becky who tended to wear her emotions on her sleeve, "First things first, we need to get attention back on us," Bianca said and Roman furrowed his brow.
"You really want to be a target for the Black Heart Family?" he said referring to Stephanie, Beth and Bayley.
"No but Becky does have a monumental match coming up against Johnny Gargano, this might be a case where Hunter's interference actually does some good," Bianca said and Seth nodded.
"I like the way you think Belair," he said and Roman rubbed his chin curiously wondering what they had in mind.
Faith Star looked up at Roman Reigns with Abiyah in her arms, "Do you want to hold Abiyah Uncle Roman?" she asked the Big Dog.
"Sure I do Faith Star," Roman said and he took his son from Faith Star's arms, "You're getting so big baby boy, I sure hope you're Mom's going to be able to carry you when you get to Saudi Arabia,"
Abiyah laughed as Roman smiled over him and he reached out and touched Roman's nose. The gesture was adorable but to Seth, it was all the validation he needed that the sooner he got Sasha and Abiyah to their Royal Palace in Saudi Arabia, the better.
