Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Avian Attraction. Enjoy the 900-Word chapter. I don't own Hazbin Hotel, Viziepop and a few others do.
Nova kept to his word. He turned to Octavia and raised an eyebrow.
"So, I know you don't really give a damn…" Nova said while humming. "But do you guys actually do anything as royals? I expected dozens of guns being pointed, someone yelling…" Nova said while Octavia paused her song at the moment.
"My dad does mostly ceremonies and stuff like that." Octavia put in which was greeted by a raised eyebrow. "We don't exactly do any of that royal stuff." Octavia said which got a hum.
"Ok then… I kinda expected your family to have like 50 bodyguards." Nova responded as he put his guns away. "I mean, if I was some fancy noble." Nova put in and brushed off his jacket.
"My dad has an assassin boyfriend, and he can turn people to stone." Octavia said which was greeted by another raised eyebrow.
"Whatever you say." Nova said while aiming his rifle off the balcony. "So, music, huh? I've heard that band before." Nova said as he looked through the scope of his weapon.
Octavia turned to her protector/servant who was busy checking his surroundings. He turned away from the weapon at the moment.
"Your not a normal bodyguard, you know." Octavia said as Nova hunched over his weapon.
"We're in hell, what did you expect?" Nova asked as Octavia chuckled to herself. "Sides, would you WANT a normal bodyguard? You read me like an open book." Nova said while Octavia turned towards her bookcase at the moment, curious about something.
"Read any books?" Octavia asked which got Nova's attention at the moment.
"Plenty, none of them are very good." Nova said while shrugging. "Hurts when you have daddy issues like I do… Eh, don't want to dump baggage on you." Nova said, regretting what he had just told Octavia.
She frowned; she knew very well about such issues. Though they were for her mother instead of her father.
"You know you don't have to be around me at all times." Octavia said which got another shrug.
"Meh, I don't like being bored or without something to do." Nova responded as he put his rifle to the side. "Plus, it's kinda my job, what else do you think I'd be doing?" Nova asked and hummed.
"Still weird." Octavia said while Nova hummed and smiled.
"As compared to what? The massive amount of freaks in Pentagram City?" Nova questioned and started to drum his fingers on his knees. "I'm not the one wondering why her bodyguard isn't stopping his job at the moment." Nova said and started to dig through the equipment box he had on him.
Octavia turned to look at Nova who leaned back in his chair. He turned to her with crossed arms. He let out a yawn before standing up for a minute.
"Ok, today is going to be a long day." Nova said before he turned to Octavia. "Plus, I know your bored, that means we're going to find something to do… Besides mope and question why life is boring and we can't just press life's reset button." Nova said before grabbing his things.
"Dad doesn't let people go outside a lot." Octavia said which was greeted by Nova humming.
"Because of assassins and freaks and overpriced deals on how to secure your financial future." Nova joked and cracked his fingers. "I know, the street sucks, you don't have to mention that to the person who lives out there… But I know for a fact that unless you have something you want to do? This is going to boil down to asking questions about nothing, standing around and not doing anything… Then questioning why we're bored at the moment." Nova stated while shrugging.
Nova watched Octavia hum before she shrugged and climbed to her feet.
"Fine, let's go check out the garden or something." Octavia said which got a shrug from Nova.
"Long as the bored princess admits she's bored, then." Nova said while strapping his sniper to his back. "Pretty sure your dad hired me so that you could go outside and not get mugged… Besides, your not going to be able to relax if you doing nothing." Nova said as he followed behind Octavia.
"Still weird, you talk a lot." Octavia said which got Nova to shrug.
"It's what happens when I don't have something to focus on." Nova responded and yawned. "I'm a chatterbox, comes with being hyperactive and all that." Nova said as he turned to Octavia with crossed arms.
"Yeah, I guess." Octavia said while she put on more music at the moment. "This is going to be a much longer day." Octavia said which got Nova to chuckle.
"Hey, helps with dealing with the alternate." Nova put in and looked up at the ceiling with interest.
He had no idea that a few weeks later would be interesting.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show the events of Loo Loo Land or at part of it. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: Next chapter will be 900-1500 words and will hopefully be soon. Loona is 1200 words and will be delayed more then usual sadly for the moment at the moment.
