I do not own any of these characters besides Adam and Cheyenne.
To be real guys, I have been writing fanfics because I have been upset for a while, and let me tell you, writing is my BEST therapy. I have gotten better these past few years BECAUSE of watching shows like Phineas and Ferb, as well as writing fanfics.
This is why I write as much as I do, despite having a small audience. So please guys, it would really lighten my day if you would give a review for each of my chapters. I know there are more of you reading than there are reviewing.
Anyway, enjoy.
Adam woke to the sound of birds outside his bedroom window. He rubbed his eyes and sat upon his bed, moaning. Once he managed to examine his rather messy room, he noticed it was rather lonely. He and Cheyenne had a pretty incredible sleepover, filled with laughter and watching tons of cartoons. Adam assumed she left early, but when he picked up a mirror from the nightstand and took a glimpse of his face, he noticed a kiss mark on his left cheek, then he remembered last night when he came clean to his best friend of what was bothering him.
Adam smiled and caressed his own cheek. He had a hard time fathoming how lucky he was to have someone like Cheyenne around, and now he could even be luckier with the inclusion of Phineas, Ferb, and their friend in his own circle.
He hopped off his bed and walked out of his room. It was a cool Saturday morning, so he started thinking of what he could do today.
Then he also remembered how he left the Flynn-Fletcher home. He frowned as he entered the kitchen, as he realized how Mr. and Mrs. Flynn-Fletcher had felt when he rushed out of the house. He assumed that Linda must have felt terrible, as she could have thought that her asking about Adam's mother was what drove him to leave her home.
Adam knew he needed to go reassure that Linda did nothing wrong, so after getting some butter on toast, and gulping down a glass of milk, Adam went into his room, changed into his ordinary attire, rushed out and towards the exit, and exited the apartment, making sure he had locked the door. He knew his father wouldn't like it if he left the door unlocked, allowing anybody to break in.
He went down to the lobby before exited the building. He looked around and took in the sounds of cars honking and all. Man, he really wished he lived in a suburban area or at least a quiet neighborhood. The building he and Cheyenne both lived in was in an extremely urban area, but their street was pleasant, unlike the street a few blocks north that looked extremely slum and was sometimes declared the inner city of Danville.
Adam walked through the busy streets until he reached the much quieter neighborhood of Maple Drive. He walked down the neighborhood until he reached the all too familiar house, otherwise known as the Flynn-Fletcher house.
He walked up the front door before taking a deep breath. He rang the doorbell and waited patiently for someone to answer. After a minute, someone did. A tall woman with red hair who was still in her pink robe answered with a tired smile. Adam could tell this lady had just woken up, as she looked exhausted and was holding a mug of coffee in her left hand.
The woman looked down at Adam and looked shocked, "Adam, w-what brings you here?"
Adam gave a smile. "Hello, Mrs. Flynn. I hope you don't mind. Since it's a Saturday, I figured I would drop by for another visit, perhaps get to know your sons a little better."
Linda nodded and let the shorter boy inside. "They are upstairs if you're wondering."
"Thanks," Adam spoke before walking towards the staircase. As he stood at the bottom of the staircase, he turned to where Linda was art, relaxing on the couch in the front room."
Adam took a deep breath. "Mrs. Flynn?"
Linda looked up from her iPad. "Yes, hon'."
Adam sighed as he slowly walked up to Linda. "Yesterday, I know I acted weird after you asked about my mother. I'm sorry if I ruined dinner last night..."
Linda shook her head, "No, it's alright Adam. You see, I kind of felt bad as I figured me asking that question was what drove you away. If you don't want to explain to me about your mother, then that's fine."
Adam nodded his head. "Thank you, but I would like to explain to you about my mother. I hardly had my mother around. She...She never wanted children. She left when I was very young."
Linda gasped at this before forming a rather sad puppy pout on her face. "I'm so sorry to hear that sweetie. I-I never meant to hurt you by bringing her up.
Adam put his hand gently on hers before speaking up. "I know you didn't, which is alright. I'm glad I told you now and I could finally get that out of the way."
Linda nodded and smiled. "You know what Adam? You're a very sweet child. I can personally say your dad did a fine job raising you."
Adam blushed and smiled. "Thank you, Mrs. Flynn."
Just then, the two Flynn-Fletcher brothers came downstairs just to find Adam in their home.
"Adam!" Phineas spoke, surprised. "What brings you here?"
"Well, I figured you guys wanted to hang out."
Phineas smiled and nodded. "Alright, come with us to the backyard."
Adam grinned wide. How cool would a backyard be? He wondered how big it was and how peaceful it would be.
The three boys walked through the living room and out into the backyard. Adam was blown away. He never saw so much space in the backyard before. His old house had a yard, but it was tiny, just like the home. But this was immense. He wondered what the boys did during their time here.
Adam walked around the yard, taking in the entirety of its presence.
"Wow!" He exclaimed. "Your yard is huge!"
Phineas approached him. "I'm glad you liked it."
Adam looked down and raised an eyebrow at the shows Phineas was wearing. They were different than the ones he was wearing back inside. They were patterned like a cheetah's skin.
Adam chuckled, "Nice shoes."
Phineas looked down. "Oh, thanks. These are our new shoes. They help us run almost as fast as light."
Adam's eyes widened. He was baffled by this. It didn't take long before he started dying of laughter. He managed to breathe before speaking up. "Oh-oh Phineas, you crack me up."
"I'm not kidding," He turned around. "Ferb."
Before Adam knew it, he fell back and his butt landed on the ground as a gush of wind struck him. He felt as if someone had run past him, like the Flash. He tried to get a glimpse of his surrounding. Once he looked up, he saw Ferb looking down at him. Adam then noticed he was wearing the same cheetah shoes as Phineas.
"Woah!" Adam stood up, his eyes widened as he reassembled his glasses. This was unreal! "Did you...did he?"
"Yup told you I wasn't kidding," Phineas gloated, crossing his arms.
"That is so cool! This is unreal!" He then stared at Phineas with pleading eyes. "Do you...have an extra pair?"
"Back in the garage. We're gonna have fun today."
Cheyenne walked to Isabella's house. Isabella texted her address to the tan-skinned girl and Cheyenne made it all the way to Maple Drive to visit Isabella and meet her mother.
Cheyenne wore her ordinary attire as she walked up to the Garcia-Shapiro residence. She rang the doorbell and soon enough, Hispanic women answered and smiled gleefully at her.
"Hola! You must be Cheyenne," Vivian spoke enthusiastically, basically rambling with her words, as usual. "How good to see you. Isabella told me you were coming to visit. Oh my, you're muy Bonita!"
"Um, thanks," Cheyenne spoke, chuckling. "Is Isabella here?"
"She's inside, dear." Vivian welcomed Cheyenne inside. She looked around the house. She was amazed. This looked like a very nice place, especially for someone like Isabella.
She walked into the kitchen, where she found Isabella seated at the table, eating breakfast. Isabella looked up and smiled. "Cheyenne, you're here!"
"Yeah, what do you want to do today?"
Isabella stood from her seat, thinking, scratching her chin. "Hmm, we could check out what our neighbors are doing.
"What? Do you mean Adam's new friends? What's so great about them?"
"Cheyenne, you are not going to believe this but...let's say the kind of stuff that Phineas and Ferb build are...unreal."
Cheyenne raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Isabella motioned Cheyenne to follow her out of the house. "I'll show you." They stood by the front door as Cheyenne started to wonder what could Phineas and Ferb build that could get Isabella to describe them as "unreal"? And if they are unreal, what could they drag Adam into? These questioned swarmed into Cheyenne's mind as Isabella opened the front door.
I Gotta end the chapter right here. The next chapter is when the juicy stuff will take place, as well as some drama.
