''Elle Greenaway, huh?'' Derek asked surprised as he listened to Spencer talk about what Elle was wearing and what she had said to him and the way she had acted at their encounter.

''Elle looked so uncomfortable'' Spencer pointed out slightly disappointed, his eyes darting to his lap indicating his disappointment. ''I would be too, seeing one of my ex coworkers after leaving the way she did'' shrugged Derek.

''She shouldn't have shot that guy. Easy as that'' Derek added, '' wasn't he a rapist? Sounds like she did the country a service'' Emily drily pointed out.

''So, you think it's morally right to take matters into your own hands when things don't go as planned?'' Derek asked, and Emily could see the fire riling up in him. ''Not necessarily but he was a rapist getting free. I'd be mad too''.

''So, you would've done the same thing?'' Derek asked disgruntled, ''I'm not saying that but I know how dark your mind can get'' Emily added before darting her eyes back to her lap.

''Let's just… uh-.. get back to the case'' JJ interrupted, noticing how Emily and Derek were both feeling heated which could go bad very quickly.

''Yes, since we're here to compile the profile'' nodded Hotch annoyed, Emily and Derek both sighed but reached for their notes never the less.

''So, what do we know about this woman so far?'' Hotch inquired, ''supposed woman'' Rossi said. ''Rossi come on, you need to let this go. It's a woman'' Emily snapped back, still frustrated after her discussion with Derek.

''We've concluded she probably targets men that have sexually assaulted someone and got off without any charges'' JJ noted, her pen softly tapping against the edge of the table as she talked.

''Plus, she must probably be very athletically built and strong'' Emily added, ''because the way the blade entered the rib cage of one of the victims means a major amount of strength since the blade even cut through half of the rib''.

''Most of the sexual assault victims from our murder victims were in their 20's when it happened but they're not all around 30. Which suggests the unsub would be somewhere in her thirties as well'' Derek piped in.

''I suppose she'll be attractive as well, alluring to these middle-aged men. Because how else would she be able to get into their homes'' Rossi interjected.

''Alright to sum things up; the unsub is an attractive woman in her mid 30's, a strong and athletic build. She's doing some type of vigilante justice'' Hotch explained, ''so I'd suggest we start talking to some of the sexual assault victims to see if they've been approached by an attractive woman about their assault''.

''How far is Garcia with the list of men with sexual assault charges that got cleared?'' Hotch asked as his eyes landed on Derek, ''I assume that list is thousands of names long, if not more'' piped Emily in, a frustrated tone laced her voice.

''It is'' nodded Derek, '' she needs more parameters if she wants to shorten that list''. ''I'll go help her with parameters'' Spencer said, pushing his chair away from the table, twirling the chair as he did.

''Prentiss and JJ, I'd like it if the two of you talked to the victim in the city here. Jenny Atkins'' Hotch said before assigning the rest of the team their tasks.

Emily pushed herself up from her chair when Hotch was done talking before JJ followed her, the blonde rested her hand on Emily's lower back as they walked.

''Are you okay?'' JJ whispered softly as she leaned on Emily's desk, Emily was pretending to look through her desk, pulling random papers out of her drawer. ''Yeah, I-.. just… ah damn it'' cursed Emily as her hand hit the drawer with a loud thud.

''Em, baby'' sighed JJ as she reached for Emily's hand, placing a soft kiss on the spot that hid the drawer. ''Come on, sit down. Take a breath'' JJ instructed as she pushed her into the chair.

''What's going on babe'' sighed JJ as she crouched down, levelling with Emily slightly. ''It's just-… this case'' sighed Emily, massaging her temple as she stammered.

''I feel so conflicted about this case because I know nothing justifies murder... but…'' whispered Emily, ''you feel bad for the unsub too'' nodded JJ as she continued for Emily.

''I know what it's like to have your life get ruined by a man. To have your look at life completely changed. If I could've been the one to kill Ian Doyle, I would've. So, in some way I understand''

''Oh, honey'' sighed JJ, rubbing her palms over Emily's shaking knees. ''Objectively I know we need to catch this woman, but something in me just doesn't want to'' Emily sighed.

''It's hard babe I know, but it is our job'' sighed JJ before placing her hand on Emily's. ''I know it's our job, but sometimes I hate the job'' Emily shrugged before pushing herself up from her chair.

''Let's just talk to Jenny Atkins'' Emily sighed, grabbing her coat and bag from her desk. JJ nodded defeated before grabbing her own stuff and following Emily to the black SUV.

Both women had stayed silent in the thirty-minute car ride and Emily was the first to break the silence when she told JJ they had arrived at Jenny Atkins' house.

Emily knocked her fist on the door with a gentle thud as she waited for Jenny to open the door. A young girl with very long white blonde hair opened the door, big blue eyes lingered on Emily and JJ's faces.

Emily was about to say something to the girl when the young girl yelled for her mother. An equally blonde woman came running down the stairs, her hair up in a messy bun but indescribably the young girl's mother.

''Lizzie, how often do I need to tell you not to open the door when I'm not close by'' Jenny said to the girl before pushing Lizzie behind her. ''Sorry, I don't buy from sales people'' Jenny said before pushing the door closed again.

But Emily was fast, and her foot was between the door right before it closed. ''Miss Atkins, we're with the FBI. This is agent Jennifer Jareau and I'm agent Emily Prentiss. May we come in?''

''The FBI?'' Jenny asked surprised, ''why?''. ''We're here because of the sexual assault charge you filed against Peter Wilkins seven years ago'' Emily said, as her eyes wandered to Lizzie; who looked about seven.

Jenny turned a deep white shade before turning to Lizzie, ''go on honey, go play upstairs with your trains''. Jenny opened the door to allow Emily and JJ in when Lizzie had hurried up the stairs.

''Would you like anything to drink?'' Jenny uncomfortably asked, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt as she led the two agents to the living room. ''I'm good, thank you ma'am'' smiled JJ politely, '' oh, please don't call me ma'am. Makes me feel old. Just say Jenny haha''.

Both agents nodded and watched as Jenny took a seat opposite of them, ''Why are you here seven years after the charges? Police didn't take much interest when it happened'' Jenny scoffed, a clear way to disguise her discomfort.

''We're here because we're investigating a series of murders. One of whom is Peter Wilkins'' Emily explained, her eyes lingering on Jenny's face as she registered the news. ''He's dead?'' Jenny said dryly.

''Well I want to say I'm sad about it, but… well I'm not'' Jenny shrugged, as red spots crawled up her neck ''I'm surprised it took him seven years to get murdered'' she added.

''How come?'' JJ asked, leaning forward slightly. ''How come I'm not sad or how come I'm not surprised that he got murdered?'' Jenny asked, her eyebrow raised in annoyance.

''The latter'' JJ nodded with a slight smile, ''I'm not the only one he did it to'' Jenny sighed, discomfort visible in her entire demeanor. JJ and Emily exchanged glances before turning back to look at Jenny.

''How do you know?'' Emily inquired, her pen tapping against her finger as she tried to meet Jenny's eyes. ''I had a friend at the police, she told me I hadn't been the only one coming forward about Peter. But he was rich, had good lawyers. And all those men in the PD are corrupt at this point'' Jenny sighed.

''You had a friend?'' Emily asked surprised, ''as in past tense?''. Jenny nodded her head slightly ''Yes, she got killed in the line of duty last year. I've always thought she was killed by one of her co-workers because she got shot shortly after starting up talk about sexual assault within the PD'' Jenny explained.

''I'm sorry for your loss Jenny, may I ask what her name was?'' JJ asked, taking out her pen to write down the name Annie Wilson.

Emily's eyes wandered to the pictures on the wall as JJ talked to Jenny about what Annie Wilson had been doing within the police force before she was killed.

The wall was covered in pictures from Lizzie, the young girl through the years. And Emily knew, she knew deep down that Lizzie was Peter's biological child and Emily's heart instantly started aching for Jenny as she thought about Jenny being alone and carrying the child of her rapist.

''You see it don't you?'' Jenny softly whispered as she followed Emily's gaze, ''it's his isn't it?'' Emily replied sympathetically. ''Lizzie doesn't know, she can't ever know'' Jenny stammered.

''Couldn't they have used a paternity test in court with the sexual assault charge?'' JJ asked, ''no, the lawyers dug up so much dirt on me that they were sure it was consensual'' sighed Jenny ''but it wasn't''.

''Were you ever approached by someone, a woman, regarding your sexual assault charges?'' JJ asked, '' yes, a few women offered up their sympathies'' nodded Jenny.

''Was there someone that took a special interest? Wanting to know details?'' Emily asked, her eyes lingering on Jenny again. ''Do you think he was killed by a woman?''.

''Yes. We think there's a woman murdering men who got no punishment for their sexual assault charges'' Emily nodded. ''Good for her'' scoffed Jenny, her eyebrow arched in disdain.

''So, were you approached by someone you think could be plotting that?" JJ inquired, neither Emily nor JJ were surprised by Jenny's initial reaction.

Jenny eyed the corner of her room, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt again- something Emily had noticed was what Jenny did when she was nervous.

''There was one woman'' nodded Jenny, Emily and JJ sat a little more upright immediately. ''She approached me a few months after Lizzie was born. Asking all sorts of questions about what happened to me and how the police handled my report'' Jenny explained.

''Do you perhaps know what her name was? What she looked like?'' Emily asked, ''I have her name writing down somewhere. I think it's in the diary I have in my office upstairs. If you give me a second'' Jenny nodded as she made her way to the stairs.

Jenny appeared 10 minutes later holding a thin red notebook, ''It's my diary from after the assault until a year after Lizzie was born. The name is on the 50th page'' Jenny said as she handed Emily the diary ''including a description of the way she looks''.

Emily and JJ said their goodbyes to Jenny about 10 minutes after that and the two women let out a sigh of exhaustion when they stepped into the car ''that poor woman'' Emily stammered, ''I know''.
