CHAPTER 5

"JUST A NORMAL DAY IN HER LIFE"

Still 15 years old

"BE ALIVE EVERYONE! IT'S TIME FOR THE INTERNSHIPS!"

Akasuki let out a yawn as she rubs her eye tiredly, failing to stay focus on whatever Present Mic is announcing to the whole class.

Why is she tired, you ask?

Well, a certain ash-blonde boy decided to 'spar' with the redhead with minimal breaks up until the Sunday, where there's school the next day.

Although it was more on beating her up than sparring.

The boy was eviler than the devil himself.

There go her new nightmares- an ash-blonde devil chanting 'BE NUMBER ONE!' over and over again.

Akasuki let out a silent cry.

"Now!", Present Mic continues, completely ignorant of the weeping redhead, as he opened the screen projection, "Here is the complete list of the internships offers for the whole class!"

The redhead perks up at the announcement and immediately began searching for her name.

Genji: 306

She blinked as her lips parted slightly in shock at the number of offers.

'Woah, that's a lot!'

"Lookie, Sukichan!", Nejire squeals, startling the redhead as she suddenly grabbed Akasuki's hands and began swinging it side to side cheerfully.

"We got offers from the pros~!"

Akasuki let out a chuckle as she pats Nejire's head, "Thank goodness for that", she sighed in relief, "I was worried for a second that we wouldn't get any"

Before the periwinkle-haired girl could reply, Present Mic continued talking, redirecting their attention back to the pro-hero.

"And now!", Present Mic placed his hands on his hips, his loud voice catching the attention of the whole class once again.

"IT'S TIME FOR HERO NAMES, YEAH!"

Nejire let out a loud squeal, making some nearby students wince at the volume, as she grabbed the redhead's shoulders and began shaking the girl back and forth.

"Sukichan! Hero names! Hero names!", she chanted cheerfully, "It's time for our hero names~"

Much to the redhead's relief, the periwinkle-haired girl finally stops shaking her only to lean her face closer towards hers.

Akasuki instinctively leaned backward, averting her gaze from the sparkling eyes of her best friend.

"Ne~ Ne~", Nejire tilts her head curiously, "Have you thought of your own hero name, Sukichan?", she asked.

After a few minutes of Nejire staring at the redhead, Akasuki let out a sigh of defeat, making the periwinkle-haired girl cheer in triumph.

"Er, well", Akasuki let out a strained smile as she scratches her cheek sheepishly, "I... haven't thought of any?"

Nejire stared at her dumbfounded.

"Eh, really?"

"So, what hero name did you decided on?"

Mirio asked curiously before taking a bite of his lunch, sitting beside Tamaki, who is quietly eating his lunch.

Once again, the four friends can be seen eating their lunch at the cafeteria.

"I... haven't decided on anything", Akasuki confessed while sheepishly rubbing her neck.

'More like I have NOTHING to offer!'

Mirio stared at the girl dumbfounded.

"My hero name is Nejire-chan!", Nejire beamed, completely averting the boy's attention towards her.

She let out a grin and a peace sign, "It's simple but I want people to feel safe just by hearing my name!", she exclaimed cheerfully.

Nejire leaned closer to Mirio, her eyes widen in curiosity, "What's your hero name, Mirio-kun?", she asked eagerly, "Come on! Tell me! Tell me!"

Akasuki sweatdrops as Nejire continues to bother the blonde boy, who merely laughs off the girl's antics.

'Why do I keep on attracting weird characters, I wonder?'

"Lemillion!", Mirio brightened, puffing out his chest in pride, "I deiced since I cannot save everyone, I just have to be a hero that will save at least a million people!"

Nejire clapped her hands with a bright smile, "What a wonderful choice!", she praised, "Just like Tamaki's hero name! A hero who could even eat the sun!"

Tamaki's lowered his head, his ears reddened at the praise, "Please, Nejire-san", he uttered meekly, "Please... stop"

Nejire, completely ignoring the indigo-haired boy, averted her attention towards the redhead girl.

"Actually- Sukichan!", she called out making the redhead girl glance at her with one eyebrow raised. Nejire leaned closer, which the redhead leaned away to her discomfort.

"I thought of a fitting name for you just now!", Nejire beamed. Just as Akasuki's lip parted to response, the periwinkle-haired girl continues,

"How about being called Vermillion? Cool, right? Isn't it cool?"

"Ry-Ry-RYUKYU IS HERE!"

Izuku shrieked as he stares at the piece of paper in his hand, awestruck at the name of the pro-hero.

"PICK HER!", Katsuki demanded, who is sitting beside the green-haired boy, pointing aggressively at the name.

"SHE'S ONE OF THE HIGHEST! PICK HER!"

'As if that worked out well for you', Akasuki dryly commented inside her head while outwardly deadpanning at the two boys in front of her.

The three of them, once again, can be found in the living room at the Genji residence, stacks of paper can be seen on the coffee table placed in between.

Today's one of the days where the three families, the Genji's, the Bakugo's, and the Midoriya's, eat dinner together.

The setting differs once a week.

Upon seeing the redhead girl sorting through the list in the living room, the two boys immediately dash towards her completely leaving their parents behind at the entrance.

"No", Akasuki deadpanned while scanning the contents of the paper in her possession, "Don't get me wrong, I'm exhilarated that she offered but", she trailed off as she pursed her lips.

"It just feels... wrong, you know?"

Izuku looked at the paper in his hands thoughtfully, "What kind of pro-hero do you want to intern to, Akaneechan?", he queried.

The redhead girl scratches her cheek in thought, "Well... I guess someone who could help with my quirk?", she answered, doubtful.

Katsuki deadpanned, an eye twitching at her answer, "Have you even decide on what kind of hero you want to be?", he asked slowly, his patience running thin.

"Oh!", Izuku brightened, "That's a good idea! We place the choices by categories!"

Akasuki tilts her head, blinking owlishly.

"What do you mean by what type of hero?"

A vein appeared on Katsuki's forehead, his patience ran out.

"WHAT KIND OF PERSON DOESN'T KNOW WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF HERO, YOU-!"

"They sure are quite energetic even in the late afternoon", Kaori mused over her cup of coffee, her gaze set on the children bickering at the living room.

A warm smile settled on her face.

While the children can be found in the living room, the adults are seated in the dining room.

"I'm glad to see they get along so well as if they're blood siblings"

Mitsuki let out a snort at the statement, Masaru sighing beside her, "That stupid son of mine worship the ground your daughter walks", she commented dryly before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Just 'getting along' doesn't summarize it"

Inko nodded with a chuckle, a cup of tea in her hands, "It's obvious how Izuku is in the same situation", she added wryly, "She's their hero in their eyes, especially now that she got accepted in Yuuei"

"The look on their faces when Akachan lost at the semi-finals", Mitsuki let out a grin, her eyes gleaming mischievously, "It's as if the whole world ended"

Every adult let out a chuckle, completely agreeing with what the ash-blonde woman said.

"Oh how time flies too fast", Kaori sighed, "It feels like it was yesterday when the three of them were like cute little angels sleeping blissfully at Akachan's bedroom"

"I don't know. That brat-", Masaru looked at his wife pointedly, "-never look like an angel to me", Mitsuki responded casually, completely ignoring the pointed stare of her husband.

"How about a little devil? He seems more like it"

Masaru sighed yet again.

Sadao let out a laugh, "He'll still be a cute little devil", he insists, earning a nudge from his wife, "Now now, that wasn't nice", Kaori said jokingly.

"Oh please", the Bakugo matriarch dismissively waves her free hand, "Say the worse, I insist. I'll completely agree with you, anyway"

"I actually think Katsuki-kun is a sweet boy", Inko smiled, her expression softening fondly, "He's been making sure Izuku got home safely every day"

She gave them a closed-eye smile, hiding how tears began to stung her eyes, "I-It's been a while since Izuku went home without any bruises", she confessed.

Her fellow adults look at her eyes wide in shock at the revelation.

"Izuku told me nothing", she informed them, her smile becoming strained, "But... a mother always knows", she let out a sniffle.

"And he wasn't that discreet either, you know?"

Mitsuki let out a grunt, her eyes narrowing at her coffee in thought, "Katsuki began coming home with new bruises since last month", she revealed.

"Do you think... could he be?"

Masaru reached out and placed a hand on his wife's shoulder, squeezing it slightly in comfort, "Well, it's great to know now, right?", he asked, albeit hesitantly.

Kaori reached out to grab Inko's hands, "How about we'll make sure that they both get home safely?", she asked while sharing a glance with her husband.

"We'll provide the car and a trustworthy driver", Sadao added, "This way you'll be assured to-"

"No", Mitsuki cut in sharply, glancing briefly at the children in the living room, "I know that damn son of mine. He'll see it as an act of pity"

She glances back at her fellow adults with a firm expression.

"He despises those kinds of acts"

"So we do nothing?", Sadao asked with a frown, "I disagree. If Akachan were in the same situation-"

"-she'll solve it on her own", Mitsuki answered firmly, "Isn't that's how she is? Headstrong and persistent"

Mitsuki takes a sip of her coffee before continuing, "You may think I'm a bit harsh with this and that's fine. I speak whatever I damn want", she blurted out.

"The kids can have their own decisions. In this situation, they decided to solve it on their own", she pointed out, giving them an exasperated look.

"Besides, do you really think Akachan will let the bullying continue?"

"Genkei-sensei~"

Akasuki appeared by the entrance of the Yuuei faculty room, holding a huge suitcase.

She let out a grin upon spotting the pro-hero sitting on his designated desk, "I'm here for a special delivery~", she sang as she dashes towards him, ignoring the amused looks from other faculty members.

"Akachan", Ectoplasm stares at her for a moment, "I thought there will be a delay?", he asked, turning to face the redhead, who now stood on his right.

The redhead smiles sheepishly, "It's just an excuse to let me deliver it to you personally", she confessed, "Anyways! Here it is!"

She placed the suitcase on the empty chair nearby before opening it, showing its contents to the pro-hero, and the rest of the teachers.

What are the contents, you ask?

It's just Ectoplasm's new leg prosthetics, which the redhead helped her father in making.

"I only brought the ones for your hero work", Akasuki informed the pro-hero, holding out one leg prosthetic which he grabbed carefully, eyeing it curiously.

"Since your normal ones are still working, papa focused more on those you use for hero work", she explained while creating a red screen with a wave of her hand.

"Now, let me show you the difference through the blueprints-"

"Oh, she's the Genji heir, isn't she?", Midnight mused as she stares at the scene, of the redhead explaining the details of the leg prosthetics, in amusement.

"She's in Class 1-A, right?"

"Yeah!", Present Mic answered with a fist pump, "The young listener is one of the best in the class! Don't I know it!"

Midnight turns to face the silent underground hero, "What do you think, Eraserhead?", she asks, "A bright little thing, isn't she?"

Eraserhead glances at the redhead, whose still enthusiastically rambling about the improved leg prosthetics.

"The Genji's are infamous for their inventions", he drawls, "We can only see how she fares in being a hero"

Midnight let out a smirk, "Oho what is this~", she sang teasingly, narrowing her eyes playfully, "Is Eraserhead getting soft~?"

The underground hero only grunts in response, turning his attention back to his paperwork.

"Oh, Yamada-sensei!"

The redhead suddenly appeared in front of the blonde pro-hero, who let out a startled yelp.

She held out a yellow box, "My parents asked me to give you this, a thank you present for being a great homeroom teacher they say"

'I told them not to but they're persistent

She sweatdropped slightly as she reminisces the scene where both her parents begged her to give Yamada-sensei the gift.

'Sometimes I really felt like the parent instead of the child'

Present Mic let out a dramatic gasp as soon as he opened the box.

"An earmuffs?", Midnight mused curiously, squinting as she leans closer to the sound hero, "Don't you have one? What's so special that-"

"WHAT'S SO SPECIAL?!", Present Mic looks at the R18 hero in disbelief, "Are ya crazy?! This is a special-made noise nullifying earmuffs produced by the FGC, you get it now?!"

The surrounding pro-heroes and Akasuki sweatdrops as Present Mic continue on praising the limited edition earmuffs.

"Now, isn't this favoritism I see~", Midnight teased as she faced the redhead student, deciding to ignore the blonde pro-hero.

Akasuki let out a nervous chuckle, shifting her weight from one foot to another, "My p-parents insisted", she defended weakly, her face warming in embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry, should I-?!"

Mightnight chuckles as she waves the first yeat dismissively, "I'm just teasing you, kid", she grinned, "I'll be honest and say I'm quite surprised you chose the hero course instead of the support course. Wanna tell me the reason behind it?"

The underground hero let out a sigh beside her, unnoticed by the two women and the still gawking blonde beside him.

"I... I guess it all started with the Yuhio Ward Mall incident", Akasuki started, licking her lips as she twiddles her thumbs, lowering her gaze from the teacher in front.

'Ah yes, it all started there, right?'

"I just... don't want another scene where all I could do is break down and be helpless."

Akasuki let out a weak chuckle, scratching her cheek sheepishly, "I-I know I can help people through the FGC or being a doctor, maybe, but-"

'The choking feeling of helplessness, the voices of people crying out for help-'

"-I feel like I got a calling", her gaze softened as she clasps her hands together, a smile appearing on her face, "It just... feels right in going through this road than any other ones"

Everyone in the room stared at the redhead student in mixed expressions, no one daring to speak.

It took a moment before the redhead snaps out of her trance, her cheeks reddened at the sight of the pro-heroes staring at her intently.

"I-I-! Th-That's all!", she stuttered nervously, straightening her posture stiffly before bowing in 90 degrees, startling the teachers.

"I-I'M SORRY! I'LL BE LEAVING NOW!"

"H-Hey! Wait for a moment young list-!"

"I'M SORRY!"

As the ruckus began at the faculty room, a certain black-haired pro-hero cannot avert his gaze from the redhead student.

His mouth twitches as he leans back in his seat, staring thoughtfully, and amused, at the sight before him.

Akasuki stood beside Nejire at the train station along with her classmates and their homeroom teacher.

Like the rest of them, the redhead wears her school uniform, a bag full of necessities she will need, and a suitcase where her hero costume is tucked safely.

"Now, DOES EVERYONE GOT THEIR HERO COSTUME?!"

Along with the rest of the class, the two girls responded in unison, "Hai!"

Present Mic let out a sniffle as he wipes an imaginary tear from his eyes, "Oh how young listeners, grow up so well!", he exclaimed tearfully.

Akasuki deadpanned as the pro-hero continues rambling about certain reminders and snippets here and there.

The redhead turned her attention to Nejire, whose tugging her sleeve persistently, "Sukichan, good luck at your internships~", she grinned cheerfully, "Let's meet up after with Mirio-kun and Tamaki-kun, okay~?"

Akasuki let out a chuckle as she nods, "Of course", she let out a smile, "Be sure to behave, Nere-chan", she lectures, her motherly instincts surfacing as she fully faces the periwinkle-haired girl with a firm expression.

"Now, remember to never wander away from Ryukyu and be sure to be polite and formal-!"

Nejire pouted, "You told me that already!", she complained, halting the redhead's lecture. She tucks herself within the redhead's torse, her arms wrap around the girl's waist, while still pouting.

"I promise that already!", the periwinkle-haired girl whines, lifting her head to give the redhead a puppy-eyed look, "I'll do it! Really, I promise Sukichan!"

Akasuki let out a sigh in defeat before patting Nejire's head, much to her amusement.

"Alright", she huffed, "Besides, we should get going", she pointed out as their classmates began scattering, heading towards their designated train, with Present Mic loudly cheering them on still.

The redhead protagonist sweatdropped at the pro-hero, which antics brought the attention of the passersby.

"Right... let's go now... quietly"

After a... loud train ride with Nejire, Akasuki can be seen standing in front of a huge building.

She stares at it in awestruck.

"It's so huge up close", the redhead said, a bit breathless.

'I can't believe I'm here!'

Akasuki takes a deep breath, an attempt to ease the nervousness but to no avail. She exhales as she clenched her fists, letting out a determined nod.

"You can do this", she said firmly, "Alright, I'm coming in!"

Just as she reached out to grab the door handle, the door began to open making her froze.

'Oh, shit-!'

"Oh!", a blue-haired girl, looking a few years older than her, stood by the opened door, her eyes widened as she clutches her chest in surprise.

"You scared me for a minute there!", the girl let out a laugh, "Oh!", she brightened, "Are you perhaps the Yuuei student intern?", she asked.

Akasuki nodded frantically, straightening her posture, "Y-Yes!", she stuttered before bowing, "I'm Genji Akasuki, please take care of me!"

The blue-haired girl waves her hand dismissively, "Oh none of that polite greeting!", she said with a grin, "I'm not that much older than you! Oh right, come in!", she persists while opening the door further.

Akasuki let out a sigh, clutching her chest as she stepped inside the building.

'Oh God, that was so lame! It totally scared me too!'

"His office is located on the third floor", the blue-haired girl informed the redhead, gesturing for her to follow her, which the redhead abides.

"It's much huge inside", Akasuki noted as she glances around in awe, "I-uh", she stuttered nervously, feeling nervously at the girl's stare.

"I-I think it's... great?"

The blue-haired girl let out a laugh, "Great to see you have a good sense of humor!", she exclaimed while patting her back, "You'll need it", she grinned.

Akasuki let out a strained chuckle in response.

'Oh, don't I know it'

The blue-haired girl's sidekick knocks on the door.

"Sir, Bubble Girl here!", she called out, "I got the Yuuei intern with me!", she announces while turning to face the redhead, giving her a thumbs up.

Akasuki shakily thumbs up in return, trembling from head to toe, making the blue-haired girl sweatdrop.

'She sure is nervous', the sidekick thought.

"Come in"

With that, Bubble Girl opened the door with no hesitation and stepped into the office, the redhead girl following behind.

The two girls halted their tracks in front of the desk, where Sir Nighteye is seated behind, his hands clasped together and his gaze focused on the redhead girl.

Akasuki gulped at the intense gaze she's receiving, a cold sweat broke out on her forehead.

"It's nice to finally meet you in person, Genji Akasuki", Sir Nighteye started nonchalantly, "Or should I call you by your hero name, Vermillion?"

"You can call me either of those", Akasuki responded cautiously, her eyebrow twitching as she began to zone out from the conversation.

'Why do I sense some deja vu?'

"-ght, I will tell you a few reminders and-"

'What is it? Uh- Let's see, Sir Nighteye... a very serious person'

"-what caught my interest is, initially, your quirk but-"

'No more like... intimidating, yeah intimidating'

"-aining will be prioritized rather than getting involved with case-"

'An intimidating character that... seeks for jokes from people...?'

"-as an intern of my agency, I expect to be respect-"

'To make him laugh... Oh!'

The redhead snapped her fingers out from nowhere, halting Sir Nighteye's speech, and blurted out whatever she thought of.

"Undertaker!" [1]

It took a couple of minutes of silence before Akasuki realized what she has done.

The redhead wilted, her eyes widen in horror at the realization of her actions.

"I-I'M SORRY! PLEASEFORGIVEMEIPROMISEIAMMOREPOLITEAND-!"

"Genji"

The redhead pursed her lips, stopping her ramblings, as she shrunk staring at the foresight hero nervously.

Nigtheye rests his chin on his clasped hands, eyeing her with a hint of amusement.

"Bubble Girl will guide you towards your living quarters in the agency", he instructed, gesturing at the sidekick beside her, who straightened her posture.

Akasuki merely stared at him in disbelief.

Nighteye adjusts his glasses with his pointer finger before continuing, "We shall start with training tomorrow before going onto patrols. You are dismissed"

'Th-That's it?'

Akasuki followed Bubble Girl out of the office in a daze, silently wondering what the hell just happened inside the office.

'I... I did it?'

"OH, MY POOR BABY!"

Akasuki let out a sigh as her father continues to weep at the sight of the bruises and cuts on her face.

The redhead came home a few hours earlier than the couple, meaning the home was completely empty, which gave her time to tend on her bruises brought by her internships.

Although don't misunderstand, most of these bruises were from the 'training' than the patrol she did every other day.

Akasuki let out a faint hiss, pulling back slightly, as the cotton containing some ointment graze on a cut at her cheekbones.

"It'll sting only for a moment", Kaori softened her gaze as she caresses her daughter's other cheek, "Does it hurt, Akachan?", she asked softly.

Akasuki pursed her lips, averting her gaze, "It hurts", she responded barely audible, "but... it's supposed to be"

Kaori let out a hum as she moves a few strands of her daughter's hair away from her face, "It's not easy", she agreed.

"But that doesn't mean you can forget to take care of yourself"

Akasuki winces at her mother's scolding.

"I know", she mutters under her breath as she tucks herself in her mother's arms, hiding her face on Kaori's shoulder, "I promise it'll be better next time"

"All I need is for you to come home", tears welled up in Kaori's eyes, "Just promise me you have to come home, alright?"

The redhead protagonist let out a hum, "Yeah", she mumbles, "I promise"

"WH-WHY ARE YOU HAVING A MOMENT WITHOUT ME?!"

Before the two redheads knew it, the black-haired Genji patriarch wraps his arms around the two and pull them both for a hug.

The mother and daughter shared an amused look at Sadao continues to wail regarding the 'damage face of her daughter'.

"I'm home! I brought my friends over as I said earlier!"

Akasuki announced as soon as she entered her home, her friends trailing behind her.

"What a wonderful home you have, Akachan", Mirio complimented as he looks around the house in awe, "It's so spacious"

"Sorry for intruding", Tamaki muttered under his breath, glancing around him warily before relaxing his tense shoulders as the doors shut close behind him.

Nejire, whose already been at the house a lot of times, simply take off her shoes and ran towards the kitchen.

The two boys sweatdrop at her casual actions.

Akasuki wave dismissively, "Nere-chan and I basically grew up together so this is normal", she assured them, "She just likes surprising my fa-"

"-EEK! NEJIRE-CHAN, WHY?!"

"-ther", the redhead ended while glancing in the direction of the kitchen with an amused expression then glancing back at the two boys, "Come on, let's introduce you two", she gestures the two boys to follow her.

The three first years arrived at the doorway of the kitchen, where Kaori can be seen chuckling as Nejire continues to playfully tease Sadao.

"I'm home", Akasuki repeated as she hugs her mother from behind, startling her for a moment, making the first year chuckle.

"Akachan!", Kaori playfully swat her daughter's shoulder, "Don't startle me all of a sudden!", she scolded albeit playfully, her mouth twitching as she tries not to smile.

The Genji matriarch raised her eyebrows upon spotting the two boys behind her daughter.

"And who are these handsome boys you brought?", she asked, eyes shining mischievously, as she loudly continues, "You're suitors perhaps?"

Akasuki let out a groan as her father appeared in front of the boy out of nowhere, giving the boys a dark closed-eye smile expression.

Mirio looks unfazed at the dark expression, keeping up his bright smile, while Tamaki shrunk behind the boy, quivering as his eyes widen in fear.

'And there goes my male friends'

"It's nice to meet you", Sadao greeted, his venomous tone contradicting his greeting, as he held out a hand to the blonde boy.

"A suitor, you say?"

Akasuki shoots her mother an exasperated look, who merely smiled innocently in response.

Mirio grabs Sadao's hand and firmly returns the handshake, his bright smile never faltering as the black-haired man tightened his grip.

"I wouldn't say suitor, per se, more like someone who needs help studying, sir", Mirio responded before joking, "I am in a tight situation, you see"

Akasuki could only mentally facepalm at the scene before her.

'Why? Just... why?'

Behind them, Nejire wordlessly grabbed Tamaki's shirt, halting his attempts to escape.

Tamaki could only longingly stare at the front door as he was dragged back to the kitchen by the periwinkle-haired girl.

Akasuki let out a happy sigh as she slouches on the couch.

"I'm going to be a lazybum for the whole weekend", she clenches her fists determinedly, "I deserve this after passing the hellish exams!"

Izuku sweatdrops as his big sister continue to rant about her finals, he placed the plate full of cookies on the coffee table before sitting beside the redhead.

"Kacchan said he'll be coming late because he's doing some project at school", the green-haired boy informed the redhead, stopping her ranting.

"Oh?", the redhead mused as she reached out to grab a cookie, "Aren't your exams coming up soon?", she asked absentmindedly before taking a bite from the cookie.

Izuku nodded while also grabbing a cookie from the plate, "Our teacher gave him a project for some extra credits", he explained, sweatdropping slightly.

"Kacchan kept on requesting one for a week. He was.. er, very happy when our teacher finally gave him one"

Akasuki gave the boy a look of disbelief which he responded with a solemn nod.

'I pray for that guy's soul', the redhead mentally prayed.

"A-Ah, how about you, Akaneechan?", Izuku asked, hastily changing the subject, "Yesterday was the day of your exams, right?"

Akasuki let out a sigh.

"It was hell", she answered solemnly, "Something I wish won't ever happen again"

Izuku looks at her curiously, "Is it hard?", he asked nervously, "Wh-What did you do?"

Akasuki deadpanned as the green-haired boy stares at her in anticipation, making her sigh.

She pouted, "Well there's a written and practical portion", she started making Izuku lean closer with another cookie in hand.

"The written portion is easy thanks to my quirk", she explains, accepting a spare cookie from the boy beside her, "The only problem is the practical portion"

The redhead yet again let out a sigh making the boy beside her sweatdrop.

"We have to defeat robots by our own quota", she continues with a pout, "And let me tell you, fighting a bunch of small ones and two huge zero pointers are a pain in the ass!"

"YOU FOUGHT WHAT?!"

Akasuki and Izuku let out a yelp in surprise at the ash-blonde boy who suddenly appeared in front of them, still wearing his school uniform.

"Katsuki!", she exclaimed, clutching her chest in surprise, "Oh my-! Stop appearing out of nowhere, you tsundere!"

"I'M NOT A TSUNDERE!", Katsuki snapped back, aggressively grabbing a cookie upon spotting a plateful of it beside him.

"NOW TELL ME WHAT FUCKING HAPPEN, GINGER!"

"A-Ah, Kacchan! Wh-Why won't you sit down first before-"

"-Shut up and don't order me around, Deku!"

Akasuki let out a snort as Katsuki sat down beside Izuku, the former still arguing and cursing while the latter tries to calm him down.

A smile slowly made her way as her eyes soften at the eyes.

Just a normal day in her life, huh?

[1] Undertaker. His real name is Adrian Crevan, a character from the anime Black Butler or Kuroshitsuji. He is called "Undertaker" because he used to work at a funeral home for normal society and an informant to the Phantomhive. He gives out information in exchange for laughter.

I'll be honest and tell you to watch the anime because my explanation sucks.
