Hey guys so sorry for the wait. The past month had been very stressful to me. I was so busy with work and school that I didn't had time to work on a chapter. Well here it is. Hope you'll enjoy.

I caught up with Sly after collecting my amount of Treasure keys and met with him in front of Muggshot's casino. We looked around the boarded up entrance to find any locks for the the keys, but there weren't any. I complained, "If there aren't any locks, then why we even bother to collect the keys!" Sly looked around and noticed a car with the tires moving fast but not moving the car itself and was locked by a lever. There were locks around the lever and it gave Sly an idea.

"Hey pal." Sly called me and he tilt his head to point out the obvious.

"Oooohhhh..." I felt stupid for forget about the car crashing into the casino like in the game.

We filled in three keys in the locks and got to pull down the lever and the car went in reverse in full force and crashed into the boarded up entrance. Sly and I got inside and fought off two of Muggshot's goons that were guarding a giant face of Muggshot. I looked at it and said, "Jeez. This Muggshot sure does have a big ego to have a giant face of himself. I mean, this thing is U-G-L-Y ugly!"

Then income Bentley, "Guys, my X-ray detection reveal that behind that face is a secret elevator that leads to Muggshot's penthouse is contained within that giant head."

"Well what are we waiting for? We just grab the keys, get in, defeat Muggshot, steal his section from the Thievius Raccoonus and get out. It will be easy as stealing candy from a baby." I gloated.

"Yeah, a three hundred pound muscular baby with a mustache." Sly crossed his arms and rolled his eyes at me.

Bentley started speaking, "Well to get inside you need to-"

"Grab all the treasure keys, unlock that lever at the front desk and flip the switch. We know the drill." I interrupted rudely.

Bentley snapped, "Would you let me explain for once!"

Sly and I looked at each other out of shock. I felt bad for interrupting Bentley when he explains everything and I started to apologize, "Sorry Bentley. I didn't mean to talk over you. I promise to let you talk for now on." I said as I crossed my heart with my left and raised my right hand.

Bentley sighed, "Thank you. Yeah what he said."

We cut communications and Sly went to the left when I went to the right. Up ahead was one of the flashlight guards. I hid behind a trash can. Once the guard turned his back, I sneak up and did the sneak attack slam where you would press the triangle button then the square button like in Sly 2.

"BOOM!" I shouted as I slammed the guard down. I talked to myself as I went in, "Okay. Time to go."

I was climbing up the rooftops of the buildings around the casino. As I was climbing up, Bentley called out to me, "Yuck! These rooftops are filthy! Well, they are the only way to get to the key since my locator tells me it's in a jewel case somewhere near Muggshot's Penthouse."

"Thanks pal. I'll let you know once I got the key." I hung up my communicator.

I started to get this familiar feeling as if I know what was going to happen. I thought to myself, 'Why do I get the feeling that this won't be easy?'

Then a familiar voice came.

"Well, well, well... Look who just walked into my crosshairs." it was Inspector Fox.

"Ahh... Why is that I always bump into you whenever I travel? If you have a crush on me, thanks but I'm not interested." I teased Carmelita while I grinned.

"Shut up you! It's best that you turn yourself in before I shock you with my shock pistol and trust me, it will hurt a lot." Carmelita gave a glare with anger.

"Look girl, you seem to have some issues. You should find a hobby. Something to keep you busy from work. You got to balance your life better or you'll end up so devoted to work that you won't find a life of your own." I was teasing her more and I think I might of pissed her off more. I felt that I might of touched a nerve on her.

"Now listen you! I don't know who or what you are, but I had enough with your tricks and I will not rest until I apprehend you and Cooper. I hope you like the taste of electricity." Carmelita cocked her pistol and started aiming.

"Uh-oh." I was in trouble this time. I started running and avoiding balls of electricity coming out of the shock pistol. I jumped from building to building and came across a clue on the way by swiping with my cane while I was running for my life. I jumped and spire jumped to get closer to the key. I got to a balcony of a building that had Muggshot's goons crawling around the place. At least I lost Inspector Fox on the way.

I had to fight off the guards to get pass them and I found a safe in the area, but it was guarded by a flashlight guard. I whispered to myself, "Damn. Looks like I got to sneak around that dog and crack the safe open quietly." I looked and found a mattress and there was a spike that I can ninja spire jump to. Realistically, it is impossible to get up in the air just by jumping on a mattress back in my world, but I've seen Sly do it, so why not me.

I got on the mattress and got up in the air and did a ninja spire jump and got across by landing on chandlers that shaped as dollar signs. I sneak attacked the guard by jumping off and landing on top of him. I got to the safe and opened up the clue to crack the code. "Okay then. The code is 5-3-2." I opened up the safe and inside was a page of the Thievius Raccoonus.

"Suzanne Cooper's water safety, huh? Sly would need this more than me. I can already swim, so yeah Sly would definitely need this," as I was finishing talking to myself, I spotted Ms. Fox at the window and she spotted me as well.

"There you are, creature!" shouted Inspector Fox as she started firing at me with her shock pistol.

I started running again to avoid getting apprehended by the fox. I started to tease her more, "Y'know Ms. Fox, we should take a break and get to know each other more. Maybe we can go for coffee."

"That sounds lovely, but it would be more lovely with you in prison." she snapped at me.

"No thanks. Heard that place is lousy with service." I remarked with a comeback while starting to be out of breath.

I kept running, jumping, and hoping through building to building until I found what I was looking for. I found the jewel case that resembled a fire hydrant and had a rope tied to it. The rope was connected to giant air balloon of Muggshot and guess who was standing on top of it. Inspector Fox herself and this gave me an idea.

I started smashing the fire hydrant case with my cane which caused the rope to snap and the Muggshot balloon was flying away with Ms. Fox on it. Carmelita got startled and got frustrated, "What the? Grrr... You..."

"Have a safe trip, Ms. Fox." I waved.

"I'll hunt you down. You can't run away forever. I'll catch Cooper and you, creature." Inspector Fox was mad and swore for my capture.

I got tired of her calling me a "creature", so I shouted, "And stop calling me a creature! I am..." I try to think of name because I didn't want to use my real name so I came up with, "Lupin!"

As I watched Carmelita fly away, I grabbed the key and got out of the rooftops and head back to go meet with Sly.

I got back from the Fox encounter and met up with Sly back at the lobby. I waited for Sly for a couple a minutes and was quickly getting board. I contacted Bentley with my binocucom because I wanted to talk to him privately while Sly was out getting the keys.

"Hey Bentley, you there?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm here. You need something?" Bentley asked.

I took a deep breath and started speaking, "I want to formally apologize of how I acted. I don't want you to think I'm some kind of jerk from the way I acted around you. I am truly sorry of how I acted."

"Ahh... It's okay, pal. I didn't really think of you as a jerk. You seem to be anxious about going back to your home world. I promise we'll figure out a way to get you and Jack home after you help us steal back the pages for Sly." Bentley gave me a smile as I watched through the binocucom.

"Thanks buddy. I could use all the help I can get." I smiled back as I cut off communications.

Sly came back with two more treasure keys and noticed that I looked kinda exhausted, "What happened to you?"

"Inspector Fox. That's what happened." I frowned.

"Hahaha... That Carmelita can be a handful sometimes." Sly laughed.

I pulled out my share of the treasure keys and headed to the front desk with locks around the switch behind the wall. The wall turned on the other side and came in a switch. I pulled down the switch and the giant head of Muggshot opened its mouth and came down the entrance of the elevator.

"Let's go." Sly said as he tilted his head to the his side.

"Right behind you." we both go in the elevator and readied our canes to whoop some ass.

On the way up to the penthouse, I came up with a brilliant plan. I looked at Sly and gave him the details. I twisted my watch that Bentley made for me and Jack the other day and transformed into a dog that to make Muggshot think I'm one of his goons. I changed into a Rottweiler to look like one of the flashlight guards. Sly already caught up with the plan that I would pretend to be the one who captured Sly to get in closer to the big man himself.

"Okay Sly, once I 'handed' Muggshot to you, you'll try to take away his guns while I distract him. I'm sure he'll probably try to reach out his firearms so try to prevent him from reaching." I explained the plan.

"I get it. We'll get the advantage of two against one by taking his weapons from him." Sly pointed out as he placed his hands behind his back.

"Yep. Just let me do the talking." I placed my hand behind Sly's back to make it look like I got him tied up.

I started practicing on my changing my voice a bit and being mentally prepared to act as a guard. We made to the top floor and we see Muggshot himself, sitting in his chair with windows around the place that were shining with sunlight. Muggshot noticed us and started to smile to see Sly "captured" by one of his "goons".

I started talking in a different voice, "Hey boss, I caught the guy who's been stealing all your treasure keys." I tossed Sly into the ground to make it look like I was one of Muggshot's guys.

"Th-This is it? You're the monkey wrench in my operation? Some scrawny rat that's been cracking skulls." Muggshot looked confused on how Sly has been messing around the boss' place.

"That's not all boss. He had this as a weapon." I pulled Sly's cane to show Muggshot.

"Wait a second... I seen that stick before." Muggshot realized where he seen the cane before.

Sly was on the floor and mentioned, "Maybe when my father knocked your block off with it."

Muggshot looked surprised, "Your father? Wow, you're a Cooper?" the bulldog realized why Sly was here, "So that's why you're here. You're here to get those pages of that book we stole way back. Well you're not taking them after all the trouble you caused."

I gave Sly a quick wink to signal him to go up to Muggshot. Sly was in front of Muggshot as the bulldog looked at me and said, "Well done. I don't think I know you though. What's your name?"

I had to think of name quick so I just answered, "Cody. I was recently picked up by Rex."

"Rex? Ya know Rex?" he questioned.

I had to keep talking to give Sly enough time to get behind Muggshot, "Rex helped me out of a hell hole I was living in and that's how I got here, boss."

"Really... cuz I was just spoke to Rex and he mentioned a hairless freak was roaming around my turf." Muggshot was on to us and caught Sly behind him. This dog wasn't easy to fool. Muggshot caught Sly and threw him like a ragdoll. He grabbed his guns and started firing. I change back to my human form and giant light bulbs popped out of the ground.

"Crap. Sly run!" I shouted as Sly ran away and I tossed back his cane to him. I pulled out my cane to ready myself to face Muggshot.

"Ya can't run from me." Muggshot taunted us as he kept shooting at us.

I looked around the area and noticed that there were mirrors around the lightbulbs and this reminded me how to defeat Muggshot. I grabbed Sly's attention and signal him with my hand to flank Muggshot on his right while I flip the mirrors to face the lightbulbs to create a strong energy from the sunlight to hurt Muggshot.

Sly went to his right to grab Muggshot's attention, "Hey meathead! Why don't you fight someone your own size, you muscled freak."

"Oh that's it! You're getting it now!" Muggshot start firing at Sly which he was protected by the giant lightbulbs that where somehow bulletproof.

I managed to flip every mirror to face the lightbulbs and caused the suns reflection and pinpointed to Muggshot getting burned by the sun light and destroying his guns.

"YEOWWWWW!" Muggshot was in pain by the beam of the sun. "My beautiful guns are destroyed. Good thing I got a spare up stairs." Muggshot was heading to a platform to get him up but I had other plans in mind.

"Oh no you don't." I ran up behind him and got onto his back and wrapped my arm around his neck to get in a choke hold.

"Hey get off-" Muggshot was fighting off to get me out of his back.

I continued the choke hold until he passes out, but it was very difficult to hold onto a three hundred pound bulldog. Sly went to help me out by whacking Muggshot with his cane. Then WHAM! Muggshot was down and defeated. He was on his back looking shocked and confused of what just happened.

"Dis is impossible! Two pipsqueaks beating a big, strong bruiser like me? It ain't right." Muggshot moaned of his defeat.

"Sorry Muggshot. Looks like Lady Luck wasn't on your side tonight." I smirked down on the bulldog, "Now tell us who's a part of the Fiendish Five, dog." I pointed my cane at him.

"M-Mz. Ruby." he answered with a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Good boy." I said.

"Who are you?" Muggshot questioned.

"The name's Lupin." I answered as I whacked him with my cane to leave him unconcious.

Sly went Muggshot's chair and found a safe. He cracked it open and found a section of the Thievius Raccoonus. It was Tennesse "Kid" Cooper's section. The moment Sly grabbed the page, we heard police sirens outside of the casino.

"Uh-oh. That's our cue." said Sly.

"Let's get out of here before Inspector Fox captures us." I pointed out as the two of us head out through a window and escaped the place. Before we left, Sly left a calling card to mess with Inspector Fox. We had to use the rooftops to avoid the police and managed to get back to the van unharmed.

During the drive, Sly went up to me and said, "So you're going as 'Lupin'?"

"Oh that? Yeah, I didn't want to use my real name when I had that Carmelita encounter, so I came up an alias to go by." I explained.

"Is that name associated with your world because I've never heard that before." Sly questioned.

"Yeah. Back in our world, there's a fictional character that goes by Arséne Lupin who's known as the greatest thief of all time, but he's a character in books, movies, and TV shows." I explained why I chose the name Lupin.

"Greatest thief of all time, huh? I wouldn't go that far." Sly laughed at the idea.

"Well I'm just glad we made out of there. Hey Sly, do you mind we can go another vacation?" I suggested.

"I don't see why not. Where to?" Sly asked.

Jack's eyes met with mine and we both had the same idea of our next break will be. I answered, "California."
