Hey guys, I haven't written or been on this website in 3 years but then I got an email that people were sill saving my stories, so I figured I would put out a few new chapters and finish this book up :) I haven't watched Shadowhunters in a while, so tell me if you want anything changed in the comments and I'll make sure to give you credit if I use your ideas. Also, my writing style has changed a lot so the chapters won't be as short or predictable. Have fun reading :))

Alec POV
I was now staring at an annoyed redhead, while the rest of my team was looking at me expectantly. I didn't have a plan, at all, and now I was supposed to simply spout one out, a plan good enough to make a very rude and bitchy teenager come with us to kill demons. What I needed was something, or someone, to stall time for me to think of an elaborate plan.

"Well, are you gonna let us in? I don't want to be couching at a window if I'm going to tell you why you should come with us." I look at her with a smirk on my face, which is met with an immediate eye-roll.
"Yeah, sure whatever. But first, there are rules." She looks pointedly at Jace and Seb, as if she knows they're the most infuriating ones.

"Rule one, no touching anything but my floor. I don't want your weird, mutant hands touching my things. Rule two, don't be loud. The only people who can be in my room is Simon, Magnus, and myself. An-"
"Who's Magnus? I know who Simon is, cause he and his rat like face came down to the Institution last time, but who the fuck is Magnus, and who names their kid Magnus?" We all turn to Jace, Izzy already planning to slap him upside the head.

"Jace, were those questions really necessary right now," I hiss at him.
"No, they weren't especially since the blonde moron interrupted me," Clary glares at him and then turns back to me. "The final rule is, don't waste my time. I may be grounded, but I couldn't careless if you circus freaks were willing to break me out of here. You guys are detrimental. Not only did you orchestrate a demon to attack me on my birthday, you kidnapped me, forced me to beat all of your asses, and then proceeded to get me grounded. Not to mention, ruined my high on my birthday. Oh, and did I mention it was my birthday? Because you all collectively ruined my birthday with no apology or apology booze."

"Look, we did not, and will never, orchestrate a demon attack on you or anybody else. And I'm sorry we ruined your birthday and didn't apologize." Izzy gives a sympathetic look and Clary glares at her. If this girl received a dollar for every time she glared at someone, she would be rolling in money.
"Look, you Victoria's Secret model wannabe, I hate you most of all. I couldn't care less if you apologized because I consider you to be the worst human being alive. I even put the misogynistic asshat over there above you," she states, pointing at Sebastian. "But because I'm not an evil black haired bitch that kidnaps a person after complimenting them on their demon slaying abilities, I'm willing to put my hatred for you aside for the time being. Now shut up, get in and let me hear this heinous plan of yours."

Clary POV
I knew they didn't have a plan which is the only reason I let them in. I knew as soon as I looked at Alec and he looked at the rest of his friends and in turn they looked at him. It was one huge circle of who is gonna say something good enough for Clary. As they climbed in, the super pale one with a huge ego, I think his name started with an s or something, smiled at me and I sneered my face up, visible disgust written all over it. Between him and Jake I don't see how anything gets done around here.

"Okay, let me here this brilliant plan of yours," I smirk at Alec and he scowls back. I turn towards my window and close it, making sure it's locked in case Magnus came over unexpectedly while the weirdos were here. As I turn around, I see Jake staring at the painting I was working on. Although it's still just a faint sketch, the idea is still apparent. It's a demon, not the one from my birthday, but a different one. He carries a man's face but a demon like body. These particular types of images pops up in my dreams a lot, and I've often painted and drawn them to hide or sell. He turns to look at me as I stomp towards him, pushing him harshly away from the sketch.

"You don't need to stare at my things Jake," I spit at him with venom lacing every word.
He takes a step forward, finally gaining balance from me pushing him. "My name is Jace, not Jake. And what you were drawing was not something that some normal mundane draws."
"Shut up, Jake, it's just my art style, I like to paint and sketch things that you would see in a nightmare," I lie to him with ease. I don't want him knowing that I dream of demons so vividly and lucidly.
He takes another step towards me and I instinctively back up. "I know you're lying, Clary."
I take a step towards him, getting in his face. "I'm not. And if you don't back off I will make you regret it in ways you couldn't think of."
We both back up at the same time, and I look around meeting eyes with Alec. "You can either tell me your plan now, or you can all get out of my room."

I walk over to my bed and sit down, Alec, Jace, Izzy, and the pale one stare at me.
"Look, I don't have a plan, but if you come with us you can learn the basics of demon hunting and what-not. Your fighting skills are unparalleled, you beat Izzy, of all people, and demolished Seb in a few seconds."
"Ohhhh, so that's his name. I've been trying to figure that out since you guys got here." Alec and Izzy stifle a laugh, Jace full-blown laughs, and Seb glares at me. "And as for that little speech, I was offered a plan, not a begging seance. I'm not interested in hearing you complimenting me so I can go on a mission with you guys, and I certainly don't want a lesson in demon hunting, I'm perfectly content in painting them from a safe distance. Now if you don't mind getting the fuck out before Luke comes upstairs and finds me talking to people while I'm grounded."

I stand up to unlock my window, and Alec grabs my arm. "Clary, I understand that you don't want to deal with us, or this demon slaying thing, but we genuinely need you. It doesn't matter that you're a gigantic bitch that tries to make everyone else feel inferior, you're good. Not only, do you have great fighting skills, but you act unfazed by everything, and we need more people like that with us on missions."
I smile at him and pull my arm, gently, out of his grasps. "Okay, now, we're talking. I couldn't give a shit about you guys trying to talk me up so I can help you guys and you guys really hate me and talk about me behind my back. If you don't like me, tell me. If you want me to do something, be upfront about it, but there's no need to try and act all buddy-buddy with me. You guys don't know me, and I don't know you. You want me to come demon slaying with you guys? We're gonna need to know more about each other than the fact that I'm a bitch, you're gay, Jace is an ass, Seb is a misogynist, and Izzy," I look at her with a blank stare, realizing I know nothing about her, "is pretty." I finish my statement, looking at each of them.

"That's fair, but why do you want to know us now," Seb speaks up, "ten minutes ago, you were totally against knowing us in general."
I look at him and roll my eyes, "let's just say that I want to know more about demons and such. You guys have provided me with hands-on demon knowledge. I would get to kill them and know more about them, without it feeling like a history lesson. But I refuse to go out on a mission with other people that I don't know, and put my trust in them for them to have my back. Therefore, I want to know you guys before going out. Agreed?"

Everyone slowly nods their heads and I smile. "Well then, it's time to sneak out."

Hey yall! I hope you liked that chapter, and I'll most defiantly post more :)) I kinda missed this.
