Sonic and Cinder arrive at the house in Vale, where Cindy and her nanny are at.
Cinder: Good. She's still there. Let's get her out of here before the army comes.
Sonic: Right.
They head up to the door and open it.
Cinder: I'm home.
Cindy's Nanny: Ms. Fall? I didn't expect you to be back so soon.
Cinder: Sorry about that. I came back because it was rather urgent. Is Cindy okay?
Cindy's Nanny: Yes she is.
Sonic: Sasha? Is that you?
As it turns out, the nanny Cinder hired is Sasha from SAO.
Sasha: Why, it's Sonic! What are you doing here?
Sonic: It's kind of a long story.
Cinder: You mean you know each other?
Sonic: Yeah. Back in SAO, she took care of the children at a church in the Town of Beginnings.
Cinder: I see.
Sonic: So you're a nanny now?
Sasha: That's right.
Sonic: How come you're all the way here in Vale?
Cinder: They're service is really great. They can show up no matter what part of the world they're at.
Sasha: What are you doing here with Cinder?
Sonic: Cindy's not safe here.
Sasha: What do you mean?
Cinder: There is some force that is threatening to take her away, and we need to get her out of here.
Sasha: Someone's planning to take her? Who?
Sonic: We shouldn't really say what it is.
Cinder: Just go home for now. I'll pay you later.
Sasha: Alright.
She leaves.
Sonic: So where's the birthday girl?
Cinder: She's probably up in her room right now.
They go up to the child's room and see the little girl looking exactly like her mother cuddling her stuffed bear.
Cinder: Sweetheart. I'm home.
Cindy: Mommy!
The little girl runs to Cinder's arms.
Cindy: You're home!
Sonic: Wow. She's really cute. She looks exactly like you.
Cinder: Only tiny.
Cindy: I missed you so much!
Cinder: It's only been three days, sweetheart.
They enjoy the moment for a minute, and then Cinder carries her child.
Cinder: Listen, Cindy. It's not really safe for you here right now because some bad guys are coming, so me and my friend Sonic here are going to take you somewhere safe. You understand?
Cindy: Okay.
Cinder: But in just a few days, there'll be a fireworks festival. I even have a yukata just for you.
Cindy: Really?! I want to go!
Cinder: And there are a bunch of friends coming along too. I'm sure you would love to meet them.
Cindy: Mmhmm!
Sonic: Okay. Let's get out of here, fast.
Cinder: Are you ready to go, sweetheart?
Cindy: Mmhmm!
They all quickly leave the premise and head back to Tokyo. At the apartment, they introduce Cindy to everyone.
Ruby: Wow! She's so cute! She's like a tiny Cinder!
Pyrrha: It certainly looks that way.
Nora: So cute!
Cindy: Umm...
Cinder: There's no need to look nervous, dear. They're all friends.
Knuckles: Something about her kind of reminds me of Yui.
Asuna: Oh yeah. She does.
Oscar: Who's Yui?
Weiss: She's Kirito and Asuna's daughter.
Emerald: Daughter? Really?
Penny: They have an offspring?
Asuna: No no no! It's not like that.
Kirito: You see, she was born as an AI in SAO. She was a Mental Health Counseling Program. I was able to save her data in my NerveGear and Tails brought her into the real world using the replica program, just like how Eugeo and Alice came here.
Cinder: I can tell you really care about her, despite her being born as an AI. I'm sure she and Cindy will make great friends.
Kirito: I think so too.
They hear the door knocking.
Ruby: Who's that?
They open the door and see the Shiba siblings and some of their friends.
Miyuki: Hello everyone!
Tatsuya: We've received your invitation.
Tails: You guys came!
Erika: Of course we came! We wouldn't wanna miss out on a fireworks festival.
Leo: With this many friends it'll be a big trip.
Kirito: Who are they?
Sonic: They're friends from another dimension. They're coming with us to the fireworks festival.
Tatsuya: I'm Tatsuya Shiba. It's nice to meet you.
Miyuki: I'm his little sister, Miyuki.
Kirito: My name is Kirito. These are my friends.
Asuna: It's nice to meet you.
Miyuki: So you're the Black Swordsman Sonic and Tails told us about.
Kirito: Uh yeah. But umm...
The Black Swordsman takes a strange look at Miyuki.
Miyuki: Is something wrong?
Kirito: No. Not really.
Yuuki: You seem really interested in her, Kirito.
Kirito: What?! No it's not like that!
Asuna: Oh really? You seem to be looking strangely at her.
Kirito: I'm telling you it's not like that!
Sinon: Oh I'm sure it's not, pretty boy.
Miyuki starts giggling.
Miyuki: I get that a lot of people are astonished by how I look.
Kirito: Well it's not really how you look that got me stunned. It's more like your voice. It kind of reminds me of a friend I had.
Miyuki: Really now?
Kirito: Actually, your voice is exactly the same as hers.
?: SONIC! SONIC! I FOUND THE BEST YUKATA EVER!
Sonic: Oh boy.
The blue hedgehog's girlfriend shows up wearing a pink yukata.
Amy: Doesn't it look great?!
Sonic: Yep. Sure does.
Yang: Come on, Sonic. Act like you mean it.
Sonic: I do. Yeah. It looks really good on you.
Amy: Oh Sonic!
She tries to go and hug him but he stops her with his palm on her forehead, and she relentlessly tries to reach out to him.
Amy: I'm so glad you think so!
Sonic: Yep.
?: HUNTSMEN AND HUNTRESSES! Return MY PLANS NOW, OR FACE MY WRATH!
Ruby: That voice was...
Sonic: Eggman.
Everyone heads outside to see Robotnik carrying a megaphone with Metal Sonic, the Hard-Boiled Heavies, and a crowd of robots.
Sonic: What's up Eggboy!
Dr. Robotnik: Shut up you blue vermin!
Cinder: Go inside, Cindy.
Cindy: O-Okay!
The little girl runs back inside.
Dr. Robotnik: Cinder?! What are you doing with them?!
Cinder: I quit, that's why.
Dr. Robotnik: You double-crossing... Grrrgh! Have it your way! I'm still working with the army and now, I have two Chaos Emeralds with me right here! Hohohohoho! Wait. What the...
The emeralds are gone from his hand.
Emerald: We'll be taking these, thank you.
Sonic: How did she do that?
Yang: Emerald's really good at misdirection. So is Neo.
Neo: ...
Dr. Robotnik: Okay. Let's cut to the wrath. Destroy them!
Eggman's robots start attacking, and the whole team fights back. Metal Sonic summons Yukihira and tries to hit Mighty and Ray with it. And then uses six laser drones at everyone else.
Mighty: Woah! What kind of upgrade did Metal Sonic get?!
Sonic: It's really complicated!
Tails: Metal Sonic now has the abilities of several different IS units.
Dr. Robotnik: I would have been mad at the Hard-Boiled Heavies for upgrading Metal Sonic without me knowing, but I have to say, they did a really good job. Usually I'm the evil genius.
Sonic: Yeah right! Your evil plans are as fake as your mustache!
Dr. Robotnik: Who told you that?! That's a lie!
Knuckles: Eggman! What do you really know about this army?
Dr. Robotnik: They truly are powerful indeed. And they would really love to meet you and people from other dimensions.
A huge swarm of buzz bombers comes flying from above.
Kirito: Heads up!
Just when the buzz bombers were about to fire, they start getting destroyed by swords and lasers.
Mikihiko: What was that?
Sonic's friends from the IS Academy arrive.
Ichika: Hey guys! Need some help?
Sonic and Tails: Ichika!
Most of Eggman's robots get destroyed by Ichika and his friends.
Dr. Robotnik: Grrrrgh! You blasted...
Tatenashi: So you're the famous Dr. Robotnik. Nice to finally meet you.
Charlotte: Your mustache looks very impressive.
Dr. Robotnik: Oh, really? Thank you. I always make sure it's nice and polished every day.
The blonde haired IS pilot aims her gun at him.
Charlotte: Do you agree to come quietly?
Dr. Robotnik: You wish! Let's get out of here, Heavies!
Eggman quickly turns his Egg Mobile around and flies away, and both Metal Sonic and the Heavies go after him.
Laura: Hey! We are not finished with you!
Ichika: Forget about him for now.
Ichika and his friends land down to the ground.
Ichika: Hey guys.
Sonic: What are you doing here? I thought you were on vacation.
?: We've received word about a disturbance in this area.
Ichika's big sister and teacher arrive.
Chifuyu: We thought we'd come to investigate.
Ruby: OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS SO COOL!
The enthusiastic girl checks out Ichika and the other girls.
Ichika: Hey! What are you...
Ruby: OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS A REAL IS! I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY SAW A REAL ONE IN ACTION! HOW DOES IT FEEL INSIDE?! WHAT OTHER TRICKS CAN THEY DO?! CAN I TRY ONE OUT?! PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEASE?!
Houki: What's up with her?
Miyuki: I've never seen Ruby like this before.
Yang: Yeah. She's like this whenever she sees a really cool weapon. And I gotta say, what you guys got is really cool.
Amy: That's... new.
Ruby: I can't believe it! I never thought I'd see the day! A real IS in person!
Yang: Okay little sis. That's enough now.
Ruby: So cool!
Cecilia: She certainly seems enthusiastic.
Rin: Well, there are some things we just gotta admire at first sight.
Kirito: So are these people from the IS Academy?
Chifuyu: How about we all exchange information at the academy? We'll introduce each other on the way.
