"Stop six on our element tour...the high rise nation of Voltasia!" Jack said as they stood within a lit up city.
"The city is lit up, yet not a single power line. Makes sense." Crow said. "Considering this country uses the lightning element, the Voltasians must be powering the city themselves."
"That's right. They don't use a single natural resource. They power this entire nation with their only electricity and electricity alone. Hence why our next jewel can only be found within the power plant." Jack said.
"If we take away their jewel, does that mean they lose their source of conducting power?" Queen asked.
"No...that does not mean that at all." Jack said.
"I just wanted to check. So, what's the plan?" Queen asked.
"Well you are. You drive on in, grab the jewel, and ride on out." Jack said.
"That will work?" she asked.
"Definitely." Jack said. "Since it's high powered electricity, you'll need to be quick."
"Alright, I'm on it. Johanna!" Queen called, summoning her Persona who is based on Pope Joan, a legendary medieval woman who reigned as pope for a short period, going against the Catholic Church's ingrained tradition of male popes. "Let's go." she said, taking off.
She rode right down the path into the power plant as sparks surged inside.
"Wait...is she?" one of the Voltasians asked.
"Yeah, one of those thieves. They're after the Lightning Topaz." they said.
"Let's zap this girl." the first one said as they were chasing after her.
"Just try and catch me." Queen said gunning it and racing towards the center of the power plant. "I'm almost there, just have to keep moving towards the light the gem is emitting."
"Zap her!" they all called out as Queen jumped over the combined lightning strike as she went and snagged the jewel before going towards the other side.
"Sorry, nothing personal!" Queen called out.
"Dammit!" a voltasian said.
Queen soon rejoined with the others.
"Hey hey, nice work, Queen." Jack said. "Hmm...night is still for a few more hours. We could probably hit Shroud before daybreak."
"Hmm...and since Shroud and Illumus share the same land, we could get them both in one go." Joker said.
"Let's not waste time talking about it. We go now!" Jack said as they hurried off.
Meanwhile…
Ira sat in front of the pedestal, now empty as he had his head lowered and his hood up, fighting back tears.
"...Dammit all...I'm sorry…" Ira muttered as he tried to fight back tears.
Ira walked across the green pasture, having a phone to his ear.
"You sure I'm on the right world, boss?" Ira asked. "This seems like the most peaceful world I've ever seen."
"Never forget that evil can grow anywhere." the voice over the line said. "There is a cult there that must be snuffed out before they can summon the Demon of Hatred. This is your first mission alone, Ira; do not disappoint us."
"You know I won't, Superbia." Ira said. "I'm gonna ask around, see if anyone knows about this cult. Talk to ya later, pal!"
"Good luck, my friend." the voice of Superbia said before the line was dropped and Ira looked around, seeing a small farm house a few yards away.
"As good a place as any to start I guess." Ira said as he walked towards the house. The door opened to reveal a teenage girl with blonde hair and green eyes in a farm dress, holding a farm bucket. She moved to a nearby well before she noticed Ira.
"Oh, hello stranger." the girl welcomed the angel. "Can I help you?"
"Yeah, I could use the help." Ira said, smiling. "Name's Ira."
"My name is Samatha." the girl introduced herself. "You must have traveled a long way. Why don't we talk over lunch?"
"...Sure, why not?" Ira said as he followed the girl into the home.
Ira remembered the first meeting as he wiped his eyes and steeled them. "...God damn it, stop caring. You know what happens when you care… you mess everything up. No, just do what you came here to do…"
The boy then looked up at the sky, seeing a ship approaching. He then gazed at the Sun and Moon Stones in both hands.
"...enjoy yourself." he finished as his eyes flashed and he grinned, the motion looking forced.
