Annie: And we are back with a new chapter!

Annie: This is the last chapter of this story.

SB/Kierra: Wait this is the end of the story?

Annie: Yes, I finally finished writing this.

SB/Kierra: Oh.

Annie: Enjoy!

Mia took the ronin warriors back to her place, Rowen went with them so they could use the shortcut. Rowen was planning on staying with his twin until school started then he would stay with his father during the school year, except on weekends then he would be with his twin unless he had other plans on the weekends. Rowen was planning on helping his twin with Dais, Cale, and Sekhmet. Sage and Kento were going to return to their families, as was Yuli, Cye and Ryo were going to stay with Mia since their families lived farther away than the other three's families. Mia told Rowen, Sage, Kento, and Yuli that her home was open to them and they could come and stay there anytime they wanted to do so.

Months passed and soon the ronin warriors found themselves in school together.

"How is Georgy, Rowen?" Cye asked as the five sat together at lunch. Rowen's twin sister had permitted the others to call her by her nickname.

"She's good. Anubis is going by the name 'Ken' now since his original name was Kentaro." He replied.

"And the others?" Sage asked.

"My sister and I had to come up with names that were close to their own. Dais is now 'Dave', Cale is now 'Kyle' and Sekhmet is 'Seth'. Plus, the three of them have found things they love doing and have jobs." Rowen explained.

"Oh, such as?" Ryo asked.

"Sekhmet loves animals, not just snakes, he is working in a local vet clinic as he is working on getting his veterinary license so he can open his own vet clinic." He said.

"Wow. That is good for him." Cye said as the others agreed.

"Dais is working in a department store as he is working on getting a law degree, he wants to become a lawyer. And Cale is working in a coffee shop, he is quite artistic. This is one of the pictures that he drew, I asked if I could have it to show you guys. He admitted that he drew it for me." Rowen said as he showed the others the picture.

The picture was of a large balance scale, Rowen on one side of the scale with books stacked in piles around his feet, a telescope was next to him, a globe stood on one pile of books, above him was the solar system. He was wearing the cloak that said he was a guardian of the crossroads but it was open to show that he was wearing a lab coat, half-hidden behind the cloak was an open violin case. On the other side of the scale was Georgina, books also piled around her feet, though they were not stacked as high as the ones around Rowen, there was a music stand near her with sheet music on it and she held a flute to her lips, ghosts hovered around her. She was wearing the gold-edged cloak that marked her as the head guardian of the crossroads. The background was a mix of blue and black with white stars and clouds, a mesh of day and night.

"Wow, this is amazing!" Kento said as the others agreed.

"What about Anubis?" Sage asked.

"He is content to stay at the crossroads with Trista and help Georgy with them. He and Trista have been going out on dates, acting like your average couple and since they never truly married before, they are planning on doing so during spring break so all of us, Mia and Yuli included, can be there for it." Rowen said.

"That is nice of them." Cye said as the others agreed as the bell rang, it was time for them to go to their next class of the day.

"Cale said he was working on pictures like the one he drew of me and Georgy for you guys and well as one for Mia and Yuli as well." Rowen said as they walked into the hall.

"You will give them to us when he is finished drawing them?" Ryo asked.

"Yeah, I will." Rowen said.

"Good." Kento said.

Months kept passing and soon Trista and Anubis were married. Everyone grew up and married and had children everyone was happy and content with their mortal lives and they knew that when they died, they would die peacefully.
