The mystic falls gang was about to leave the boarding house when Alaric stopped them.
"What is he doing here?" Damon groaned.
"Jeremy told me everything, I want to help." Alaric stated.
"Alright, get in." Damon sighed.
Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Caroline, Alaric, and Katherine walked into Klaus's mansion while Elijah stayed out of sight.
Jade led them into the living room where Klaus had been waiting for them.
"So this is where the big bad wolf lives." Damon said sarcastically.
"Watch your tongue." Jade growled.
Klaus signaled for Jade to leave the room.
"Why are we here, Klaus?" Katherine asked in an attempt to hide her fear.
"Elena suggested that we should have a little talk." Klaus stated.
"You listen to Elena now?" Katherine asked.
"She can be very convincing in bed." Klaus said with a smirk on his face.
"If Elena wants to say something, she should do it herself." Damon stated, trying to contain his anger.
"I couldn't agree more." Klaus stated.
A devilish smirk spread across Klaus's face.
They had unknowingly played right into Klaus's hands.
"Elena, sweetheart, come here." Klaus called out loud enough for her to hear.
Elena walked into the room with a light smile on her lips.
She took her place on Klaus's lap and looked at him affectionately.
"Elena." Klaus said, getting her attention.
"Hmm?" Elena asked.
"They want you to tell them what you told me." Klaus informed.
Elena slowly turned her head.
Her smile instantly dropped from her face as she saw them.
'How dare they show their faces after what they have done?' her brain screamed as she glared at them.
Klaus observed her with an amused expression, knowing precisely why she was behaving this way.

Elena's resolve had been slowly diminishing every day.
Klaus was unsure whether it was because of his torturing sessions or the blood bond.
It didn't truly matter to him.
All he needed to do now was add a little pressure, and Elena would be putty in his hands.
Elena watched as Klaus entered the room, secretly admiring him.
He was going to be the man who would take her life, and yet...
She reminded herself that this was the blood bond talking, not her.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by the smell of blood.
Klaus's blood.
Elena stared at his wound, willing herself not to drink it.
It did not come as a shock to her when her mouth attached to Klaus's wound.
Klaus put his hand on top of her head as she drank deeply from him.
Suddenly Klaus was gone.
She opened her eyes, only to realize that she was in her bedroom.
Had it all been a dream?
Elena got out of her bed and looked around the room.
Everything had been the same as she left it.
"Elena." Stefan's voice called out to her.
"Stefan, what are you doing here?" Elena asked.
"Elena, you need to come with me." Stefan said in a hushed voice.
"What's going on?" Elena asked, not liking the tone he was using.
"Damon has Jeremy and Jenna." Stefan said, attempting to get Elena out of the house.
"What?" Elena asked, angered.
"I'll explain on the way there." Stefan assured, shoving her into the vehicle.
"Why does Damon have them?" Elena asked after a few moments.
Stefan didn't say anything.
"Stefan?" Elena asked again.
Again, she got no response.
The car came to a stop at what looked like an abandoned house.
Stefan silently got out and went to Elena's side of the car.
The door jerked open, and Stefan roughly snatched her out of the car.
Stefan dragged her into the house, ignoring her protests.
Elena grew quiet as tears filled her eyes.
"No." Elena whispered hoping this wasn't real.
John's dead bloody body laid on the floor, while Jenna was being drained to death by Damon and Caroline.
Elena's struggles to get out of Stefan's grasp were proven useless.
"Stop! What are you doing? Caroline, please!" Elena pleaded.
"This is your fault, Elena." Stefan whispered in her ear, sending chills down her spine.
"What?" Elena breathed, shaking her head.
"It's always your fault." Bonnie whispered in her ear.
"If it's my fault, then kill me. They don't deserve this." Elena begged.
"Just like your parents didn't deserve to die?" Stefan asked, pushing her hair behind her ear.
"Yes." Elena said, releasing a shaky breath.
"Wasn't that also your fault?" Alaric taunted.
Elena's eyes widened as Jenna's body dropped to the floor.
She hadn't even realized she had been screaming.
Damon left the house and returned with a frightened Jeremy.
"Would you like to do the honors brother?" Damon asked, licking his lips.
"Please, don't do this!" Elena screamed helplessly.
"Why shouldn't we? This is all for you, Elena." Caroline said in a sickeningly sweet voice.
"I never asked for this!" Elena argued.
"Sure you did." Damon coaxed.
"Stop this, please!" Elena begged.
Stefan let her arms go, but before Elena could react Caroline grabbed her arms.
Stefan slowly approached Jeremy, ignoring the pleads and cries from Elena.
Elena struggled to get out of Caroline's tight grip, but she had not been fast enough.
Elena let out a gut-wrenching scream as she watched her brother's lifeless body drop to the floor.
Elena ran towards his body and pulled him into her lap as she rocked them back in forth.
It reminded her of the days where she would do that after Jeremy would have a nightmare.
"I'm sorry! It's all my fault Jer." Elena sobbed.
Stefan violently pulled her up, moving her away from Jeremy's lifeless body.
"Your turn." Stefan whispered.
"Go to hell." Elena spat.
Stefan violently ripped into Elena's neck, ignoring the ear-piercing scream coming from Elena.
Suddenly Stefan got pulled away from Elena.
"Marcus? What are you doing here?" Stefan growled.
"My name is Klaus." Klaus corrected, with a smirk on his face watching as Stefan stepped back cautiously.
"So you've heard of me… perfect." Klaus added.
Damon, Stefan, Caroline, Alaric, and Bonnie looked at each other before speeding off.
(Caroline carried Bonnie, while Damon carried Alaric.)
Klaus looked at Elena, who was violently shaking as tears flew down her face.
"Close your eyes." Klaus demanded.
His voice was like music to her ears.
Elena slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
Klaus opened his eyes, smirking proudly, silently thanking the blood bond.
He picked Elena's unconscious body up and laid her on the bed.
An hour later Elena opened her eyes.
Suddenly tears filled her eyes as she realized the last of her family was dead because of her.
Jeremy was dead because of her.
Elena turned her head slowly towards Klaus.
"Why?" Elena asked.
"You have to be more specific, love." Klaus said.
"Why did you save me?" Elena asked.
"I need you for my ritual." Klaus reminded her.
Elena nodded.
"The pain is gone." Elena commented dully.
"I healed you and compelled your friends to forget what happened." Klaus informed.
"They're not my friends." Elena snapped.
Klaus turned around and began walking away, only stopping when Elena grabbed his arm.
"Please stay with me." Elena requested.
Klaus only gave Elena a small nod as he climbed into the bed.
He could hear Elena's small sniffles as she willed herself not to cry.
"It's not your fault." Klaus commented.
Elena looked at him with teary eyes.
He noticed her red eyes, runny nose, the slight quiver of her lip, and the tears that were flowing down her face.
"Do you mean that?" Elena asked in a brittle voice.
"Yes." Klaus stated.
The room went silent for a moment.
"You can cry, Elena." Klaus stated.
"I didn't want to bother you." Elena said quietly.
Klaus pulled her closer to him, her body stilled before completely relaxing.
Something about him made her feel extremely comfortable and safe.
It took her a moment before she let her tears overtake her.
Elena spent that night sobbing into Klaus's chest.
The next day Elena didn't put up a fight when Klaus gave her blood or when he used the blood bond in any way.
Klaus had finally broken Elena.
(Present time)
"We would appreciate it if you would refrain from interfering with the ritual." Elena said in a honeyed voice.
Damon scoffed.
"Is there something wrong with her request?" Klaus asked with a smirk on his face.
"Can we speak to Elena alone?" Stefan asked.
Elena scowled at them.
Klaus glanced at Elena before moving her out of his lap and standing up.
Klaus took a step forward when Elena grabbed his arm. Her eyes were begging him not to leave her alone with them.
"Elena." He warned.
'Behave yourself' Klaus instructed.
Elena slowly removed her hand and watched as Klaus left the room.
"Elena, are you okay?" Damon asked.
"I'm perfectly fine." Elena said dryly.
"We're going to get you out of here, okay?" Stefan said, moving closer to Elena.
"Stay away from me." Elena demanded.
Stefan stopped and looked at her confused by her outburst.
"It's the blood bond." Katherine reminded.
"No, I just don't like him, or any of you for that matter." Elena said snarkily.
"So plan 2?" Damon mused, getting small nods from the others.
Klaus came back into the room and put his arm around Elena.
"Elijah, I know you're here!" Klaus yelled.
Elijah walked into the house and looked around.
"Release the girl, Niklaus." Elijah demanded.
"Why should I? So you could take her from me?" Klaus chuckled.
"Precisely." Elijah stated.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" Elena yelled.
"Klaus, I'm warning you. Hand over the girl now or I will take her." Elijah threatened.
Klaus scoffed, even if they did take Elena, he knew he would get her back.
That didn't mean he wouldn't let her go without a fight.
Klaus felt his power diminish drastically, his eyes went straight to Bonnie.
Elijah must've taught her that spell.
Elijah tackled Klaus causing him to let go of Elena.
Elena's eyes searched around and found a wooden stake.
She made a move to get it but stopped when an excruciating pain shot through her body.
Elena gritted her teeth and silently cursed the blood bond.
Once again she was useless.
Once again she couldn't protect the people she loved.
Elena hadn't even noticed that she was now in the Salvatore boarding house until she felt someone shaking her.
"Elena are you okay?" Caroline asked.
"Get off of me!" Elena yelled as she pushed Caroline away.
"What's wrong with her? The blood bond can't be the only thing that's making her act like this?" Bonnie asked.
"Klaus is a manipulator." Katherine informed.
Elena paused, what's stopping her from walking right out of the house?
All she needed was a distraction…
"Bonnie, remember how you thought you lost Ms.Cuddles?" Elena asked.
"Yeah." Bonnie said narrowing her eyes.
"Well, it turns out Caroline took it and buried it." Elena said, knowing that this would spark an argument.
As everyone watched Caroline and Bonnie bicker Elena was quietly making her getaway.
Elena silently opened the door with a smirk on her face.
Her happiness died quickly as she came face to face with Elijah.
"Where do you think you're headed off to, lovely Elena?" Elijah asked, causing all of the attention to go to Elena.
Elena mentally facepalmed herself for expecting to get out that easily.

Hey everyone, I hope you liked this chapter. I had a little bit of writer's block with this chapter but I think it turned out okay. I cried writing the part where Elena watches her family die, that was messed up. Klaus has been warming up to Elena, what do you think will happen now that she's gone? Do you think her friends will figure out why she hates them? What will happen between Elena and Elijah?
