Before I begin I want to make something clear. Yes, you are part of my crew. But that doesn't mean you get to tag along on every little adventure. Heck, even Hodur and I don't run together all the time. Besides, you got your work cut out for you keeping the Vanguard Commander alive and dealing with Osiris. And trust me, the latter is going to take all of your patience. The old man is a handful on a good day. I'd say the same about all Warlocks but Hodur is the exception to the rule.
Yes Hodur, I'm aware you've been spying on my communications with our feathery friend.
Now, normally I'd steer clear of a ship like the Glykon. An derelict vessel with a looping distress call parked right outside a spatial anomaly? If I had a bullet for every pre-collapse horror story that started that way I'd never need to buy another round.
However these aren't normal times, and we need all the intel we can get. If the Glykon managed to find a way to enter the anomaly...
I've written up a will naming you as a beneficiary in the event of my death. That's a fancy way of saying you get some of my stuff*. Mainly the various hand cannons I've got in my vault. Maybe you'll find one you like, given you've decided not to use Ace. I never plan on dying, but it's always good to make sure things are taken care of.
Speaking of taken care of: I forgot to mention that you are also the proud new owner of the Colonel. Currently he's watching over a bunch of Pigeons. I believe Saint-14 has anointed him as some sort of Pigeon Lord. Saint can handle the day to day, but if you ever need to vent, the Colonel is a good listener.
So is Saint, and he knows a thing or two about second chances.
Look at me, getting all sentimental. Truth be told the Glykon's probably a dead end, and I'm just getting paranoid. It happens when you've been around as long as I have.
Charon says I need a break. He's right, of course. Tell you what. When I get back I'll show you some of my old hideouts. You think that little nest you had on the reservoir was bad, wait till you see what I had to make do with.
Charon says we just got cleared for takeoff so I'll sign off for now. Keep your head on a swivel and your chin up. You got this, kid.

The above is valid only in cases where the individual hereafter referred to as Crow (aka you) is not directly responsible for the demise of the deceased (aka me). In the event said individual (again, you) is directly responsible for the demise of the deceased (me, of course), the inheritance is hereby amended to one bullet (potentially, but not limited to, a devourer round) delivered at maximum velocity by the individual known as Hodur-11.
