Chapter 6

(Dayton Optical Systems)

Superman and Supergirl swooped down from the night sky and landed in the parking lot, at the same time the two Flashes sped in sight and stopped next to the two Kryptonians. Clark, Kara D, Barry, and Bart exchanged glances and Kara D shrugged, whistling a little.

Behind them, the roaring of three motorcycles sounded.

On one motorcycle was Oliver, with Laurel-Two seated behind him, while Ollie was riding on another motorcycle alone, and Sara, with Laurel-One behind her, were on one as well. The three motorcycles screeched to a halt and the two Green Arrows and three Canaries climbed off.

"Just a quick reminder," Oliver said to Clark, Kara D, Barry, and Bart in an annoyed tone. "Super-speed, the rest of us don't have it."

"Noted," Clark and Kara D replied in unison, while Barry and Bart both nodded.

They started walking towards the building.

"So what do we know about this place?" Barry asked. "Why are the Earth-X'ers targeting it?"

"Because... they had something we need," Overman announced in a distorted voice as he, Amazon Queen, Overgirl, Dark Flash, Dark Arrow, Dark Arsenal, Dark Siren, and Deathstroke approached the heroes from the opposite direction.

Dark Flash was holding a glass cube with some sort of red crystal inside. He sat it down on the ground.

"Whatever you stole..." Oliver snarled.

"We're gonna want it back," Barry added.

"Now," Clark finished.

"Your confidence is predictable," Dark Arrow said to the heroes.

"Which is one thing we genuinely respect about you heroes," Overman added. "You've faced some of the greatest evils known to man. And you've defeated them. But if you think so highly of yourselves, that you can defeat any threat that comes your way..."

The holographic masks disappeared from the faces of Overman, Amazon Queen, Overgirl, Dark Flash, Dark Arrow, Dark Arsenal, and Dark Siren, while Deathstroke took off his mask and Dark Flash pulled back his cowl.

"How do you feel about us?" Overman finished.

Clark, Kara D, Barry, Bart, Oliver, Ollie, Sara, Laurel-One, and Laurel-Two were taken aback as they saw the faces of Overgirl, Dark Flash, Dark Arrow, Dark Arsenal, Dark Siren, and Deathstroke.

"What the hell?" Bart asked.

"This is sick," Oliver muttered as he regarded his doppelganger.

"To be looking at your own reflection and seeing only weakness? I agree," Dark Arrow snarled.

"I have to say, this gives a whole new meaning to hating yourself," Ollie remarked as he regarded the man who looked exactly like him.

"I could say the same about you if it's any consolation," Dark Arsenal countered.

"So you're me from Earth-X," Ollie said.

"I know we look alike, but not exactly," Dark Arsenal replied. "Unlike you, I'm not just another Oliver Queen. My name is Robert Queen Jr." He pointed to Dark Arrow. "And this is my twin brother. He's Oliver Queen."

"Twin brother?" Oliver and Ollie repeated in unison.

"You softies are surprised by every little thing," Dark Arsenal scoffed. "It makes you a bunch of pathetic idiots."

Barry felt there was something disturbingly familiar about the yellow-clad speedster who looked exactly like him as he regarded the latter.

"Hello, Barry," Dark Flash said to him with a smug grin. "Long time no see."

"Savitar?" Barry said, incredulously. Given that this speedster not only looked exactly like him but also seemed to know him, that was the only person who immediately came to his mind as Savitar had been the only evil version of himself he'd faced.

Dark Flash laughed. "Typical Barry Allen. Always so clueless and shortsighted, can never see what's right in front of him. As I've said before, I'm always one step ahead."

Barry suddenly felt like he'd been slapped in the face. "Thawne."

"Direct from Earth-1," Dark Flash, who was in fact Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse-Flash, confirmed. "Do you like my face?"

"I can't believe this," Barry said, feeling absolutely sick to his stomach at the sight of the man he hated with every fiber of his being having his appearance. "How did you..."

"Your Earth-X doppelganger," Thawne answered, knowing what Barry was going to ask. "He was on the side of the resistance and a real badass for a normal human. Of course he was no match for a speedster, which is why it was so easy to steal his face. Unfortunately for him, the process was as fatal as it was to Harrison Wells."

"The Black Flash killed you," Barry said, having heard such from Conner.

"Or did he?" Thawne said. "The Black Flash didn't kill me. He merely trapped me in the Speed Force with no hope of escaping."

"How did you get out?" Barry inquired.

"I got out at the same time you did," Thawne replied. "While you went to Earth-38, I escaped to Earth-X where I took your doppelganger's face and met my allies. Not only did I put it on to make the Reverse-Flash name a bit more literal, but to show you that not all evil versions of you have a pizza for a face." Doing hand gestures towards his face, he added, "Plus, young and handsome."

"So this is how people saw me before I turned over a new leaf," Laurel-Two said as she, Laurel-One, and Sara regarded the Earth-X version of Laurel Lance.

"I know all about your little redemption route," Dark Siren sneered. "You want so badly to prove to everyone that you can be just like your Earth-1 doppelganger when in reality your heart is dark like mine."

"That's not true!" Laurel-Two snapped as he glared at Dark Siren. "Even when I was at my absolute worst, I never would've aligned myself with Nazis!"

"Don't listen to a word she says," Laurel-One said to her Earth-2 doppelganger. "She's just trying to get in your head."

Dark Siren turned to Sara with a look of disgust. "And if it isn't my traitorous little sister. In addition to killing my inferior doppelgangers, I look forward to ending your life a second time."

"A second time? You killed me?" Sara asked incredulously, rattled by the thought but maintained her composure.

"Your doppelganger was a filth who got exactly what she deserved!" Dark Siren exclaimed venomously, not even a hint of remorse in her voice. "My sister accomplished nothing but becoming a major stain on the Lance family that needed to be wiped clean. I mean, not only was Sara sexually attracted to women, her own gender, but she sided with the very people who oppose us. She was against her own flesh and blood! But, at our father's behest, I was more than happy to expunge that bitch from the family line forever!"

"Oh, my God, this is a nightmare," Laurel-One said, tears welling up in her eyes at the horrifying idea that a version of her had murdered her own sister.

"I agree, and that's saying something coming from me," Laurel-Two added.

"What happened that made you become this way?" Laurel-One asked Dark Siren, perturbed by the latter's callousness. "I can't believe..."

"Growing up in the world of the Fatherland is the best life I could've ever asked for!" Dark Siren shouted.

"Her lovely husband agrees with her," Dark Arsenal added.

"Wait, you're her husband?" Ollie asked.

"Yep, and I couldn't have asked for a better queen to share my life with," Dark Arsenal answered, and Dark Siren threw a loving smile at him. "It helps that the two of us got a lot in common."

"Who are you?" Clark asked as he and Overman regarded each other.

"I'm the Kal-El of my universe," Overman replied.

"You're me from Earth-X," Clark realized, this being the second encounter with non-identical version of himself.

"And I'm his wife and second-in-command Diana," Amazon Queen added.

Clark stared at the woman in shock, immediately realizing she was an alternate version of Wonder Woman. "How did you and your team meet Clark Luthor?"

"They met him through me," Thawne answered. "I traveled to Earth-64 and recruited Luthor and his team to work alongside us. I figured it was fitting given that their goal to conquer multiple Earths aligned with ours."

"You're not interested in conquering anything," Barry said. "I know you. You're only working with them just to spite me."

"Tommy killed himself," Oliver said to Dark Arrow.

"I heard your Tommy died years ago," Dark Arrow retorted. "That's what this Earth does."

"It's a disgrace," Deathstroke added.

"We've been watching you," Overgirl said to the heroes. "We've been watching all of you, and how you squandered the potential of your worlds. On our Earth, we've developed a meritocracy. We've accomplished greatness."

"You're perverse," Kara D said, disgusted by her Earth-X doppelganger.

"No, Kara, you're the perversion," Overgirl countered. "One of the most powerful beings on the planet rendered weak by saccharine Americana."

"My ship and my cousin's were blessed to crash in the Fatherland," Overman added.

"Then go back there," Barry said, firmly.

"This is not your Earth," Oliver growled.

"Leave now," Clark ordered.

"Or you're gonna regret ever coming here," Ollie added.

"We don't answer to the likes of you," Amazon Queen declared. "Our allegiance is to the Fatherland." She turned to Overman with a loving smile. "And to my husband."

"Last chance," Oliver snarled. "Go home."

"And stay there," Kara D said, firmly.

"All of you," Barry added.

"Or we'll make you go home," Sara finished.

"Let's just get this over with and kick their asses," Bart said. "These are supervillains after all. Of course they're not gonna listen to reason."

"Good point, Bart," Ollie agreed, taking a fighting stance as he readied his bow. "Let's kick their asses."

Thawne put his cowl back on. He and Barry then engaged each other in a high-speed battle as they raced around the vicinity in streaks of red and yellow-orange lightning.

Clark and Overman levitated into the air simultaneously and flew at each other, producing a shockwave as they clashed.

Laurel-One and Laurel-Two pulled out her batons and Sara twirled her bo-staff, while Dark Siren pulled out two knives and Deathstroke put his mask back on before unsheathing his sword. Laurel-Two engaged Dark Siren while Laurel-One and Sara took on Deathstroke.

As Amazon Queen leapt towards the heroes, Bart wasted no time spinning his arms around, creating a powerful vortex of wind that hit her dead on and sent her flying back. Amazon Queen landed on the ground, putting several cracks in it on impact. She got back up, only to suddenly get knocked back down as Bart sped past her in a red blur.

Oliver and Ollie each pointed an arrow containing a tip made of green kryptonite at Overgirl.

"And what do you think those are going to do? Bullets bounce off of me," Overgirl said, arrogantly.

"No, our arrows won't," Oliver muttered lowly.

He and Ollie simultaneously fired their kryptonite-tipped arrows directly at Overgirl.

The female Kryptonian let out a grunt, more out of surprise than pain, as the two arrows simultaneously penetrated either side of her chest. She collapsed to the ground as the effects of the kryptonite overtook her body.

"Thanks for the arrows," Oliver said to his counterpart.

"Don't mention it," Ollie replied.

A weakened Overgirl painfully yanked the two kryptonite arrows, both of which were bloody at the tips, out of her chest. Quicking regaining her strength, Overgirl levitated several feet into the air preparing to throw the arrows back at Oliver and Ollie.

Kara D unleashed her super-breath, the powerful gust of wind sending Overgirl flying back as she crashed into the Dayton Optical Systems glass sign, shattering it on impact.

Up in the air, Overman suddenly became distracted by what just happened to his cousin. Clark took advantage of the distraction and punched Overman in the face, sending the latter crashing on the ground near Overgirl.

As their high-speed battle went on, Thawne managed to knock Barry to the ground with a hard punch. The yellow-clad speedster then sped over to where Overman and Overgirl, the latter tended to by Dark Arrow, were getting back to their feet.

"Get the Prism out of here!" Overman said to Thawne.

The speedster picked up the glass cube with the red crystal-like item inside and sped off with it.

"Are you all right?" Dark Arrow asked his wife in concern.

"I'm pissed," Overgirl spat out angrily.

Dark Arrow looked over at a tall building that was under construction in the distance. "Take it out on that."

Overgirl unleashed her heat vision on the unfinished building, causing it to start rumbling.

Clark was about to fly after Thawne when he saw that Bart was violently thrown back by a shockwave produced from Amazon Queen slamming her bracelets together. Clark flew down and caught Bart in his arms before the latter could land on the ground.

"You okay?" Clark asked.

"Peachy, Stretch," Bart replied.

Kara D noticed the unfinished building collapsing and flew over to it. Clark and Bart noticed it too and the former flew towards the building while the latter ran.

As Oliver helped Barry back to his feet, they noticed the collapsing building as well.

"It's gonna fall," Barry said in horror.

"All right, get me over there," Oliver ordered.

Barry grabbed Oliver and sped over to the construction site.

"We have what we came for," Overman said to Amazon Queen. "Let's get out of here."

Deathstroke dodged out of the way as Laurel-One unleashed her Canary Cry on him. Pulling out a gun, he pointed it at Laurel-One and was about to pull the trigger when Overman suddenly sped past him in a blur, swooping Deathstroke up.

Laurel-Two and Dark Siren were thrown back in opposite directions as they unleashed their sonic screams at the same time. The two iterations of Laurel Lance got back up and were about to rush each other when Overman sped past in a blur, swooping Dark Siren up.

Ollie was engaging Dark Aresnal in an evenly matched fight when Overman sped past in a blur, swooping the latter up.

Meanwhile, at the construction site, Clark and Kara D re-welded the loose steel support beams back in place with their heat vision, while Barry and Bart sped the construction workers off the unfinished building, getting them to safety on the ground. Oliver swung around the structure, firing several grappling cable arrows at the weak points of the building to stabilize it.

Once their work was done, Clark, Kara D, Oliver, Barry, and Bart met up with each other on the ground.

"Site's clear," Barry said.

"And stabilized," Kara D added.

"Good job," Clark said to all of them.

"Let's not celebrate just yet," Oliver said. "We gave those doppelgangers the window they needed to escape."

"Escape with what?" Kara D wondered.

"I doubt anything good," Bart said.

"Whatever it is, we need to find them and get it back before it's too late," Clark stated.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

"Dayton Optical Systems calls it 'the Prism'," Chloe said to everyone in the cortex.

"What on Earth do they need a sub-light generator for?" Harry wondered. "It's basically a spectral emitter that..."

"Uses quantum entanglement," Harry, Chloe, and Winn finished at the same time.

"They could also use it to create a stable fusion reaction," Caitlin added.

"Which means what exactly?" Courtney asked.

When no one answered, Lois then said, "Look, Einsteins, for those of us whose minds aren't exactly specialized in the scientific department, we'd really like to know what the hell you're talking about."

"Not all of us are rocket scientists," Thea added.

"Well, basically the device they stole can be converted into a neutron bomb, boom," Harry explained.

"Okay, now I wish we hadn't asked," Lois remarked.

"The bottom line is that we have to catch these invaders from two parallel Earths as soon as possible," Tess said.

"This might help," Barry announced, as he, Clark, Kara D, Oliver, Ollie, Bart, Sara, Laurel-One, and Laurel-Two entered. He was holding one of the kryptonite arrows containing Overgirl's blood on the tip.

"Is that a kryptonite arrow?" Alex asked.

"Yep," Barry answered.

"I assume that's the blood of one of their Kryptonians," Chloe said. She held out her hand and Barry handed the arrow to her.

"Those two other Kryptonians are mine and Kara's doppelgangers of Earth-X," Clark stated, to the shock of those who hadn't already known that. "And that Amazon woman said her name is Diana, so she must be Earth-X's Wonder Woman."

"So two evil yous, an evil Supergirl, and an evil Wonder Woman?" Dinah said, incredulously.

"I really hope I don't come across either of the evil Smallvilles," Lois said.

Caitlin turned to Harry. "When you said that Earth-X was horrible, you might've under-sold it."

"Wait a minute, did you say there was another Kara?" Alex asked Clark.

"I did," Clark nodded. "She looked exactly like your sister, while Earth-X Kal-El didn't have the same face as me nor the Clark from your Earth."

"Clark and Kara aren't the only ones with evil Nazi versions of themselves," Ollie said. "Those two archers, one of them looks exactly like me while the other one looks exactly like him." He pointed to Oliver. "My evil lookalike said they were twin brothers."

"This Earth-X place is even worse than I imagined and I didn't think that was possible," Chloe said, horrified by the idea that someone who was the spitting image of her husband was a Nazi.

She headed off and entered the med-lab with the kryptonite arrow.

"An evil Oliver? That's something I don't even like to think about," Diggle said.

"I don't blame you," Roy said.

"The man in the Deathstroke gear was indeed Slade Wilson, but from Earth-X," Oliver said.

"That explains why he sounded exactly like Slade," Thea said.

"And let's not forget mine and Laurel's evil doppelganger," Laurel-Two added.

"I still can't believe she killed her version of Sara," Laurel-One said, on the verge of tearing up again.

"Also, the Thawne from our Earth is working with them," Barry added.

Caitlin dropped her jaw in horror and shock.

"How is that possible? I watched Thawne die," Conner said, also shocked.

"It turns out he didn't die," Barry said. "He just got trapped in the Speed Force and got out when I did."

"Thawne also admitted he was the one who recruited Clark Luthor and his team to work with him and the Nazis," Clark added.

"He's an idiot," Harry grumbled, still bitter about the fact that Thawne had stolen his doppelganger's identity.

"So if that arrow has Kara-X's blood on it..." Winn started.

"We could track it using quantum analysis," Harry finished.

"Yeah," Winn nodded in agreement.

"Actually, I have a quicker way," Chloe announced from the med-lab before everyone entered it and gathered near her.

Chloe was examining the bloody tip of the kryptonite arrow through a microscope. "These red blood cells are suffused with shortwave radiation," she explained to everyone.

"Solar radiation?" Caitlin asked.

"Yeah, incredibly high amounts," Chloe answered. "Like, way off the charts."

"I can help track the source," Winn offered.

"Do it fast," Barry told them.

Caitlin, Harry, Winn, and Alex went to work, while the others left the lab.

(Elsewhere)

Ultraman, Andrea, Owlman, and Inertia stayed behind at the hideout, while the Earth-X'ers had gone off to retrieve the Prism from Dayton Optical Systems. Ultraman and Andrea were standing next to each other, while Owlman was on the other side of the room doing some work on his plasma gun and Inertia was sitting in a corner eating a box of pizza.

"Before I kill Kent, I want him to watch his most prized possession Lois Lane die very slowly, very painfully, and very gruesomely," Ultraman sneered with a sadistic smirk. He turned to Andrea, putting an arm around her. "You will have to honor of carrying out that act and I want you to make sure that Lane's death is as bloody as possible. Then afterwards we will drench her blood all over Kent's body and, once I feel that he's suffered enough, he's a dead man."

"You despise your doppelganger that much?" Andrea asked, feeling a bit disturbed by her boyfriend's intentions but fought hard to maintain her composure.

Ultraman clenched his fists. "I despise the fact that there are terribly weak and naive versions of me across the Multiverse. Also, you know as well as I do how much of a thorn in my side the highly nosy and annoyingly persistent Lois Lane was. She's exactly the same on Kent's Earth as she was on ours. Not to mention that she was married to Oliver Queen, my greatest enemy aside from my pathetic brother Lex. That's why it will be all the more enjoyable subjecting that bitch to a slow and excruciating end."

"If you want Lois Lane dead so badly, why don't you do it yourself instead of asking me?" Andrea said.

Ultraman gave her a pointed look. "Taking her life isn't going to be a problem for you, is it?"

Andrea produced a smile and shook her head. "Of course not, Clark." She cupped his cheeks in her hands and looked at him lovingly. "After three years, you should know by now that I'll do anything for you. Absolutely anything."

"Good," Ultraman said, smiling back at her. "You know, I was thinking, once our tasks here are completed, we'll travel to every Earth across the Multiverse and confront every alternate version of me there is. The Kal-Els who are either just as naive and weak-minded as Kent or in other ways a disgrace will be eliminated by my hand, while the Kal-Els who see things as I do and are willing to cooperate will be spared and united with me."

"Sounds like a plan," Andrea said.

"What better individuals to team up with than worthy versions of myself who don't waste their time squandering their incredible capabilities the way Kent does?" Ultraman pointed out.

"How do you view your Earth-X counterpart? Do you consider him worthy?" Andrea asked, curiously. "He's a version of you after all,"

"I respect the fact that he's managed to become the leader of his world just as I have with mine and that our goals are mutual," Ultraman answered. "However, it seems that he, along with Oliver, is prioritizing his cousin's life over the actual mission, which most likely has stalled any progress we could've made otherwise. Kal and his team still have their uses for now, but I can't say I'll miss any of them once all of this over."

"Are you going to kill them?" Andrea wondered.

"That depends on the circumstances," Ultraman answered. His hearing suddenly picked up some noises and he realized that the Earth-X'ers had returned. "Speak of the devil, they're back. It's almost time for our next attack."

"I look forward to it," Andrea said, before pulling Ultraman into a kiss.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)

Laurel-One was sitting in one of the labs with a perturbed expression when Sara approached her.

"Hey," the younger Lance woman said.

"Hey," Laurel-One replied.

"How are you holding up?" Sara asked in concern.

"I'm not sure," Laurel-One said, still shaken by the encounter with her Earth-X doppelganger. She turned to Sara, who could see the fear in her sister's eyes. "On one hand, I know she isn't me. On the other hand, she's who I could've been had my circumstances been more like hers."

"Maybe, maybe not," Sara said.

"I just can't imagine myself ever working with Nazis, let alone taking my own sister's life," Laurel-One said, not even bothering to fight against the tears that started rolling down her cheeks. As she then started sobbing, she added, "I'm so sorry, Sara. I'm so sorry that another me killed you."

Sara put her arms around her sister in an embrace. "You have nothing to be sorry for, Laurel. You're not responsible for the actions of your doppelganger."

"I know," Laurel-One sobbed. "Still, the thought that I could've turned out just like her terrifies me."

"Let it out, Laurel," Sara said soothingly, as the older woman continued to sob. "Just let it all out. It's okay."

Sara held her sister tenderly, slightly rocking her back and forth, until the latter stopping finally stopped crying a few minutes later.

"I feel much better now," Laurel-One said, wiping tears from her face. "Thanks."

"Are you gonna be all right when it comes time to kick ass?" Sara asked.

"I will be," Laurel-One nodded. "Really."

"Good," Sara smiled. "Just want to make sure your head will be fully in the game."

"Are you okay, Lois?" Clark asked her in concern as they stood around in the hallway.

"Considering that we're under attack by a group of supervillains consisting of not one but two evil versions of my husband, I'm good," Lois replied. "I guess no matter what Earth we're on, trouble always manages to find us."

"I'm sorry that our trip here didn't go as planned," Clark said.

"Oh, please, Smallville, since when does anything we do go as planned?" Lois pointed out. "Look at the disasters that were our first two weddings. First, Darkseid, and a year later, the Legion of Doom."

"Fair point, although let's not forget that our third and final wedding back in 2015 went without such interruptions," Clark said.

"Maybe we were just lucky that time," Lois said.

"I don't like to think of it as luck," Clark said. "The way I see it, even when our first two weddings failed, that was always the day we were meant to successfully tie the knot."

"I love your way of thinking," Lois said.

"If you want, Lois, I can send you back to our Earth while the rest of us stay here until this threat is dealt with," Clark offered.

"Where's the fun in that?" Lois said. "Lois and Clark are in this together like we've always been. The fact that we're on completely different Earth does not change that."

"I was just asking," Clark said. "It's entirely up to you."

"And I said I'm staying here with you," Lois said. "End of discussion."

"Fair enough," Clark nodded. "To be honest, I was actually hoping you would choose to stay here with me, but the part of me that wants to get you as far away as possible from all of this made me ask."

"Well, this chick here would rather be unsafe but in the same universe as her intergalactic powerhouse husband than be safe but not in the same universe as her intergalactic powerhouse husband," Lois said.

Clark smiled lovingly at her. "You're one of a kind, Lois Lane, you know that? How did I ever become so lucky to have you as my wife?"

"Right back at you, honey," Lois said, smiling back at him.

Clark pulled out the extrapolator and held it out to Lois. "Can you hold on to this for me?"

"Is this your way of telling me 'if you change your mind, feel free to use it to go back home'?" Lois asked.

"That's not exactly what I had in mind, but it could be if you want it to," Clark said. "I just don't want to risk damaging it while fighting."

Lois took the extrapolator from Clark and put it in her jeans pocket. "Sure, I'll hold on to it for you, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna change my mind."

"I know," Clark said. "You're one of the most stubborn people I know."

"I wouldn't be me if that wasn't the case," Lois pointed out. "Not that stubbornness is always a bad thing."

"How did you become the way you are?" Lena asked Tess as the two women were in the cortex.

"My path to becoming Red Tornado started when Lex drove a dagger into my abdomen," Tess explained, to Lena's shock. "In my dying moments, I rubbed a neurotoxin on Lex's face in an effort to erase his memories so that he wouldn't be a threat to my friends. His memories did disappear, but unfortunately that did nothing to stop him from being the enemy. It turned out that the neurotoxin contained a property that trapped my consciousness within Lex's mind for a while."

"I can only imagine how horrible that must've been for you," Lena said. "Your Lex seems to be just as bad as mine."

"At least your Lex didn't kill you," Tess pointed out.

"Oh, he tried," Lena said, as she remembered John Corben, whom Lex had hired to assassinate her.

"Obviously, it didn't take," Tess said.

"How did you escape from your Lex's mind?" Lena asked.

"I had help from my friends," Tess answered. "They retrieved my consciousness from Lex's mind and resurrected me in a digitized form. Eventually, I was placed into this body and became the heroine known as Red Tornado."

"Interesting story," Lena said, amazed that another version of her was an android. She looked down at the watch firmly fixed around Tess' left wrist. "That watch allows you to pass for human."

"To the point that it gives whoever touches me while I'm in my human form the illusion that they're touching someone who is flesh and blood," Tess stated.

"Fascinating," Lena said.

Caitlin, Harry, Chloe, Alex, and Winn were sitting at desks using the computers to try and figure out the Nazis' location via Overgirl's blood.

"Supergirl-X's blood is filled with solar radiation more than it should be," Harry said. "But if I can try to get that to act as a kind of beacon..."

Suddenly, a red blur entered the med-lab and stopped next to Caitlin, startling her.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya," Bart said.

"It's okay, I've gotten used to that a long time ago thanks to Barry," Caitlin told him.

"So you have ice powers but they only work when you bring out your second personality?" Bart asked, resuming their conversation from earlier.

"Yeah," Caitlin answered.

"How do you do that?" Bart asked. "Become this other you I mean."

"You don't wanna know," Caitlin said.

"Try me," Bart said with a smirk.

"It happens when I'm scared or angry," Caitlin explained.

"Oh," Bart said in understanding. "So you're basically a real-life Incredible Hulk, but with ice powers instead of super-strength."

"That's one way of putting it," Caitlin answered.

"Boom," Harry announced as he hit the desk with his fist. "Whatever's going on with Kara-X's blood, it's intensifying."

"Worse for her is better for us," Winn pointed out.

"Better for us for tracking her at least," Caitlin said, as she turned back to the computer. "We should have her location any minute."

(Time vault)

Barry and Kara D had their arms around each other as they stood before some holographic images of Eobard Thawne.

"I can't believe he's back," Barry said. "I don't know if I'll ever be rid of him."

"Given all you've told me about him, I can't imagine how painful this must be for you," Kara D said.

"I just keep looking for closure, but every time I see him, all I see is..."

"Your mother dying," Kara D finished. She turned to Barry. "We're gonna stop him, Barry, for good this time."

"How do you know?" Barry asked.

"Because stopping the bad guys is what we do best," Kara D answered.

"She's right," Oliver said to Barry as he entered the time vault. "We got the location."

"Where are they?" Barry asked.

"They're at a shipping depot outside Danville," Oliver answered.

"All right, let's get the band back together," Barry said, as he, Kara D, and Oliver headed out of the vault.

Once all of them were suited up and those who didn't have any powers or only had a Canary Cry grabbed their weapons, Superman, The Flash (Barry), Green Arrow (Oliver), Green Arrow (Ollie), Supergirl, Superwoman, Red Tornado, The Flash (Bart), Black Canary (Dinah), White Canary, Black Canary (Laurel-One), Black Canary (Laurel-Two), Arsenal, and Spartan (who had decided to temporarily return to this line of work) all headed out on their way to battle the enemy forces of Earth-X and Earth-64. Conner and Courtney stayed behind as backup so that Lois, Chloe, Caitlin, Harry, Thea, Alex, Winn, Lena, and the still-unconscious Cisco would have someone to protect them should S.T.A.R. Labs come under attack.

The concept of Thawne taking on Barry's appearance was also used in Aragorn II Elessar's fic "Fight As One", another Crisis on Earth-X rewrite which is an Arrowverse/MCU crossover and a great read.

In canon, it was never mentioned how Oliver got access to kryptonite despite the lack of Kryptonians (as far as we know) on Earth-1. Here, I had the kryptonite arrows provided to him by the Earth-21 group. Also, after her character development in the previous story, the Kara Danvers in this world has no problems with the use of kryptonite weapons.
