Chapter 4 : Chloe Town
The sun was just rising when Aozora wakes up.
She raise her body and felt some aches on her body. She stretches herself and after hearing some pops, she finally took a look around her.
Her hand was gliding through the ground before she manage to touch her glasses and wear it. After she was done, she was finally able to start the day.
She looks to the side and saw Hinako just sitting besides them. There is also Austina who seems to be sharing some berries with Hinako.
The two of them turn their attention to her when they heard her waking up.
"Good morning Milady."
"Good morning Commander!"
Aozora just nodded at them before taking some berries from Austina's hand.
After getting out of her lightheadedness, she felt fine enough to start walking to their destination.
All of them stood up and started their trek to get to Chloe Town after they were done eating the berries.
As they are walking, Hinako will occasionally go out of the roads and enter the forests before coming back.
It seems like she was killing the monsters that tries to get closer to their position while scaring off the others when it was valid to do so.
Aozora can see this because everytime Hinako engages in a battle, the Galaxy Conquest panel will occur in her vision and it will show the battle screen in it.
Galaxy Conquest was supposed to be a Tower Defense when it came to battle. But it seems like it changes like the Princess Saga. It just shows what is happening on the battle in real time.
In an unrelated note, Galaxy Conquest is an Idle Game. The player can automatically acquire coins and other rewards as time passes. But this world just changed how her game functions so it wasn't the case anymore.
Only her Space Crystal Mine and Coin income on the Storage are the only things she can get as the time passes. Others are not existent at all.
"Hmm... So I can't really use my Storage to store things inside it." Aozora mutters that in disappointment.
She was planning to use the Storage area as her inventory but it seems like she can't put any items she have in reality.
'Maybe, I can only take items that I got inside this game?' She thought to herself in wonder.
"Commander, it seems like we have arrived at a town." She heard Hinako saying that to her.
Looking ahead, she saw a wide clearing and on the distance there is a large stone wall in it. The dirt road seems to lead to the gate on this large stone wall.
It took them some minutes before they finally got near the gate. From there, they can see two guards wearing a full set of iron and a spear being wielded by them.
One of the guards looks at them for awhile before telling them to stop.
"Your identification card please." That guard asks of them while presenting his hand on their way.
The three of them looks at each other in confusion.
Seeing their confusion, the guard tries to ask in curiosity.
"Don't you have any ID?" He asks in confusion.
"... Sorry, we didn't know we need an ID to get inside." Austina was the one who responded to him.
They really didn't know. When they were still on Fawkes Village, they didn't thought to asks about it. They think they'll be able to get inside just like at the village.
"It's fine. You three look like a noble so I thought you have your IDs." The guard says without looking offended at all. "You can also get inside here by just paying a fee. It's just two silver coins per person." The guard explains to them.
"..." Aozora can only stare at him in resignation.
They don't have any money on their pockets. She doesn't have her phone nor her wallet when she got to this world. Only her school uniform was taken along with her when she woke up.
She tried looking at her Galaxy Conquest.
When Hinako was killing some dangerous monsters getting near them, she is getting some Coins.
Coins is the basic currency on this game aside from Space Crystals. It can be acquired by finishing a mission, finishing a quest, daily rewards, or even using the Space Crystals to buy bundles of it on the Shop (which is another section on the Agency).
She thinks she might be able to use her coins on the real world.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the case at all. She tried reaching out on the part where her Coins were displayed but her hand just passed through.
The guard look at her in confusion when he saw her stretching her hand into the air.
"... What is she doing?" The guard asks the Princess.
"Ah... just ignore it. She occasionally does that." Austina quickly tried to divert his attention to her.
While that is happening, Aozora was looking at her game with a frown.
'It doesn't work.' She thought.
Not having any idea at all, she decided to just tell the guard that they don't have any money.
"I'm sorry, we didn't have any coins in our hands." Aozora said that to the guard.
"Oh... then I am afraid I can't let you enter." The guard says to them.
"Well, can we use another thing as a substitute for payment?" Hinako asks.
Aozora turn to Hinako with a start. She was pretty familiar to that set of phrase because she heard that sometimes on the game Galaxy Conquest.
'Wait... is she going to refer to THAT!?' She thought with a shiver.
Galaxy Conquest is an 18+ games due to the many countless pornographic scenes in it. On Hinako, there is a scene where she also says the same words to some random mob guarding some area and it turned into something very explicit.
She was dreading that she was going to do that here because she uses the same sentences as the one in the game.
The guard gestured for her to continue so Hinako obliges.
"How about this..." Hinako said as she put her hand somewhere behind her.
And then she handed a bunch of crystal orbs on the guards open hand.
"Eh?"
Aozora was dumbfounded when she saw what she handed out.
"Oh, aren't this the slime cores. Well, I can't really do anything with this thing. I can't sell this with the full price without being an Adventurer." The guard told her before he handed the slime cores back.
"Well, why don't I go inside the city while my friends here wait for me. I'll turn this slime cores into money." Hinako suggested as she took the slime cores back to her and put it behind her.
Aozora can see that those many orbs suddenly vanishes behind her.
'No, it didn't vanish. They just became very small.' Aozora thought as she recalls one of the things that Hinako can do.
Hinako have the capability to minimize every objects that she touches. So long as it doesn't have any life signs to it, she can minimize it.
It's not really magic but she have a special technology that she was using to do that feat. It wasn't really explained that much on the story so Aozora doesn't know how that technology works or where it was hidden in her.
"Okay, but I'll have to escort you. We can't really let suspicious people get inside without their ID or any payment." The guard told her. "But before that, you need to touch that crystal before you enter." He said as he pointed inside the gate where there are two more guards there and an opening where someone is manning something inside it.
"What's in there?" Hinako asks.
"It's a magical crystal that can sense whether you did a crime or not. We can't just let criminals get inside here after all." The guard answered.
"Well fine." She turned to Aozora. "Commander, I will be gone for a moment. Miss Austina, please take care of her while I am gone." She said to the Princess.
"Of course. Leave it to me!" Austina told her with a smile.
After that, she followed the guard inside the town where she touched some sort of crystal there and it shined blue. It seems like that was the proof that she was innocent.
As they watched her receding figure, Aozora looks at Austina before deciding to wait for her besides the wall where the guard is standing.
'Ah... she follows the guard inside right?' Aozora thought while feeling a bit worried. 'I hope she doesn't just throw herself to that guard and do... THAT.' She hopes in her mind.
Her thoughts always go through that because the characters on the Galaxy Conquest are literally throwing their dignity out just for some depraved fanservices that only degenerates will like. Even if it doesn't make sense on the plot, the characters will somehow get into those sorts of situation both intentional and unintentional.
She can't really check because she doesn't have a minimap. She can only see what is happening to her when she was in combat.
She really hopes that she wasn't like the character that she was when she was still in the game.
After she was done with that inspection, she followed the guard inside the town.
While following, she was checking every pathways and areas that she can use if things go south. She was also checking some establishments so she can visit it with her commander when they have the time to do so.
Contrary to how Aozora perceives her, Hinako wasn't some cheap girl that will be easily swayed from pleasure. She wasn't even looking for anything of the sorts.
She was wholly devoted to Aozora. It was because Aozora was the one who will lead their entire universe to their prosperity.
Before she got summoned to this world, they have a database pertaining the info about Kamigawa Aozora. They don't know where this data came from other than that Aozora is the last one that can command all the agents in the universe.
Still, because their universe was already on the brink of destruction due to their continuous wars and conflict so they decided to believe on this mysterious info that they got.
It's not just the Radiance Council who got this info. Every faction in their universe acquired this info.
And because they know that their universe was going to be destroyed anyway, so they decided to stop whatever they are doing and wait for the last commander to summon them.
It's weird because magic doesn't exist in their universe. They don't even know how this summoning works. But they will wait for the time this summoning will come.
And it seems like she was the first one who was summoned by Aozora.
The Radiance Council have already told every agents that they have that Aozora will hold all the authorities to order them. Basically, every members of the Radiance Council will have to see Aozora as their new Council Head, regardless of who they are.
It seems like the other factions have also done that. So any agents that Aozora summons will obey her.
Even those criminals who are part of the Intergalactic Dark Organization, Abyss Gate, Serpent Gaze, and the Shangri-la are also going to obey Aozora if they were summoned by her.
Aozora didn't know that they are on the brink of extinction because it's not part of the game.
Anyway, while looking around her she also didn't take her attention out of the guard who was leading her.
"Okay, this is the Adventurer's Guild." The guard says as he pointed at a large house-like building ahead of them.
Hinako nodded on his way before they walk towards the Adventurer's Guild.
When they got inside, Hinako quickly took a scan to the whole interior of the place.
'This place is crowded. There are a lot of thug-looking people here. Some of them are directing an unpleasant gaze at me. How disgusting.' She thought while feeling some scorn on those guys.
It seems like no one wanted to start any trouble because she was besides a guard.
"Hello Nadia."
"Oh Nate, what can I do for you?"
The receptionist, who seems to be Nadia, replied before looking at her.
"And who might you be?" She asks in a polite tone.
"I am Hinako. I am here to register as an Adventurer." Hinako declares her intention.
"Oh, you seem to be a bit too young for that." Nadia says with a worried expression.
"I'm 260 though." She said to the receptionist nonchalantly.
"What!?"
The others who also heard her were shocked when she said how old she is.
For Hinako, that was normal though.
She have undergone many augmentations and surgeries. Most of it expanded her lifespan up to the thousand years. People in her universe normally lives up to 5,000 ~ 7,000 years in average. So she was still pretty young in the perspective of her universe.
The receptionist thought another thing though. She thinks that Hinako might be a halfling. Maybe her parents are a human and an elf.
She even looks the part. She have a figure that was honestly envying to most women in this world despite her lack of height. She was also inhumanly good looking so it was natural to think that she might have an elf bloodline in her.
"I see... okay, then can you please write your personal details here." Nadia says as she handed the forms for registering as an Adventurer.
"Of course." She said before looking at it.
She became a bit curious when she saw that she can understand what was written in there. But she chalks it up to some magical shenanigans.
After writing in her own language (which is English), she passed the papers back to the receptionist. It seems like the receptionist can also understand what she wrote there despite having a different written language than her.
"Okay, please wait for a bit." The receptionist said as she did something behind the reception desk.
After awhile, she came back with a metallic card and a needle.
"Now, you just need to put a drop of your blood in this metal plate and your registration will be complete." Nadia says as she handed the card and the needle on her.
'This is so primitive...' Hinako thought as she took it before pricking her finger with the needle.
She needs to use a bit of her strength to pierce through a layer of her skin due to her durability. She even have to take her gloves off before she manage to make a small wound and a drop of blood in her finger.
She pointed her finger on the metallic card and drops a tiny piece of her blood in it.
The metallic card shines for a bit before it settles. Looking at it, she saw that there are some words written in it. The words are written in her own language.

That is what was written in her card.
"That will act as your ID as an Adventurer. You can also use it to get inside the towns and cities in this country." The receptionist explained to her.
"Okay." She said as she put the card behind her.
She minimizes it by activating her miniaturization programmed in her clothes. Every objects that she minimizes will be secured in her clothes so she doesn't need to worry about it being lost or something.
Even if someone manage to hit her clothes, the objects that were glued in it won't get destroyed because those objects were minimized up to the subatomic level. The only exception to this is if she was hit by something that can disintegrate particles.
Her clothes are called Nanofibers, which are just nanomachines that were processed to become clothes. Her suit were specially programmed for stealth so other than miniaturization, she can also suppress sounds, heat, and even cloak herself so she can't be detected at all. It also have the capability to repair itself through self-contained propagation.
Anyway, after she put her ID behind her, she took the slime orbs in there and put it on the reception desk.
"Well then, I want to sell this next."
It took sometime but after waiting for awhile, they saw Hinako going back to them with the guard.
Aozora was still looking at them while feeling a bit awkward at it. She didn't know if they really go straight to the Adventurer's Guild or they did something else first.
"Okay ladies. You can now enter inside the town."
Aozora looks at Hinako and she saw that the spy was just proudly puffing her chest in pride.
"Well... okay. Let's go." Aozora said while shaking her thoughts out of whatever the two did inside the town.
She will just have to believe that Hinako wasn't the same as the one in the game.
