Chin, Steve, Danny and Camilla walks across the beach until the reach what looks like a restaurant.
"Hey Kamekona." Chin said when he sees a large man standing inside the building.
"How´s it brother." Chin asked.
"It´s good to see you." Kamekona said as they share a hug before Chin becomes serious and he leans forward.
"Hey, bra, i need a name." Chin said, and Kamekona looks at Steve, Danny and Camilla with a raised eyebrow.
"They wait out there." Kamekona said as he nodding towards where Danny is standing and Steve turns around and starts to walk away.
"After they pay." Kamekona said causing Steve to turn back around.
"Pay for what?" Camilla asked.
"Three cones and shirt to go." Kamekona said as Steve turns to Danny and Camilla.
"We." Camilla said as she waved her hand between her and Danny" We´re not paying the man."
Steve pulls out his wallet as he turns back to Kamekona and takes out some money and gives it to Kamekona.
"This one feels a little lonely, bra." Kamekona said as he looks down at the bill in his hand.
Steve looks to Chin who shook his shoulder, and Steve turns back to Kamekona and slips him another bill.
He smiles as he looks down at the bills in his hand." Cool." He said before looking up and sees Steve, Danny and Camilla are leaving." There´s one more thing i need, you three to do." And he throws shirt at Steve, who looks down at them.
"no." Camilla said as she takes the shaved ice from Danny hand, and she walks over to Danny´s car and leans against it as she takes a bit of the shaved ice. Steve and Danny soon walks towards her wearing bright blue shirt that are to big for them and she can´t help but to laugh.
"Laugh it up." Danny said as he and Steve walks towards her.
"You both look great." Camilla said before she leans her head to the side as she sees a little girl walking up to Steve and she stops right in front of him.
"Are you a cop?" A little girl asked Steve.
Steve looked to Danny before looking back down at the little girl." No."
"Well, you look like a cop." She said.
"You like cotton candy?" Steve asked as he gets down on his knees." Go find your mom." He said.
"I don´t like cotton candy." The girl said.
"I got something you might like." Danny said as he turns around and reaches inside the car and pulls out a giant pink bunny." How about that?"
"Yeah." The girl said with a big smile on her face." Thanks." She said before running past them with the bunny in her arms.
"You´re welcome." Danny said as watches her as she runs towards her mom, he turns his head and sees Steve staring at him with a shocked look on his face.
"What?" Danny asked before the three of them looks back when they hear Chin laughing.
"You better have a name." Steve said.
State police task force HQ.
Chin, Camilla, Danny and Steve are all in the main room as Chin shows them a mug shot of an Chinese man on a tablet.
"Sang Min, came here from China 8 years ago, and according to our man Kamekona, he runs the island´s human import and export business, so Hesse could have used him to get on or off the island." Chin said.
"Okay, so let´s say this guys is for real, he´s still no reason to tell us where Hesse is." Danny said.
Camilla points at Danny." He´s got a point."
"Then we get leverage, twist his arm a little." Steve said.
"Define leverage?" Chin said.
"Simple bait and trap. Wire up an undercover send them in." Steve said as he looks around the table before his eyes lands back on Chin.
"Only one problem with that, that might work on the mainland, but we´re on an island with less than a million people, which means the bad guys knows the good guys, so we need to look for a bait outside the box. Chin said.
"We have one." Danny said as he looks to Camilla, who looks up from her cell-phone to find the three of them staring at her.
"What?"
"Bait." Steve said with a grin on his face.
"Yeah, bait." Camilla said with a smile of her own." And i bet that Chin have the perfect women in mind." Camilla said as she turns to Chin.
"How did you know it was a woman?" He asked with a smile.
There´s no way that is man." Camilla said, pointing her finger at the tablet." Would let another man he doesn´t know anywhere near him, but a woman.."
"And you´re a woman." Steve cut in.
"Not his type."
"How do you know that?" Steve asked.
"How do i know that?" Camilla said as she turns back to Chin.
"She´s right." Chin said, looking towards Steve before looking back at Camilla.
"So." Danny said as he clapped his hand together." who´re we meeting?"
An hour later they´re walking down the beach. Chin points to a young girl out on the water.
"That´s your cousin?" Danny asked as Steve and Camilla walks towards him.
"Choose your next words carefully." Chin said as he looks over at Danny.
"She´s very talented." Danny said as they watch her surf.
"Oh, she´s off the charts, spent 3 years on the pro circuit before she blew out her knee, kid was devastated. Had to reinvent herself and decided to wear a badge, she graduates from the police academy in a week, unfortunately she´s family which means HPD will never take her seriously." Chin said.
They watch her surfing a wave when someone comes in on her wave, bumping into her.
"Hey watch out!" She said as he bumps into her, a few seconds later she go´s under.
"Oh." Chin said as Danny moves back a bit, they sees her coming up from the water and she runs out.
"You sure she´s ready for this? She´s got no street experience?" Steve said, looking towards Chin and then back at his cousin who had placed her board down in the sand.
"Yo bra." She said and the guy turns around and she punched him in the jaw making him fall. Danny flinches as Camilla laughs.
"Think twice before you wanna drop in on someone´s wave." She said before picking her board, she smiles as she sees Chin standing there watching her.
"Cousin!" she called out before she runs towards him.
"You had it water woman." Chin said, hugging her." Kono meet Commander Steve McGarrett, detective Danny Williams and special agent Camilla Richard.
"Nice right cross." Steve said as he shakes her hand.
"No man. That was a love tap." Kono said before shaking Camilla´s hand, she turns to Danny and shakes his hand, but he holds her hand a little to long.
"Can i have my hand back?" Kono said with a smile on her face.
"What...Sorry." Danny said as he let´s go of her hand.
"So your cousin tells us you´re graduating from the police academy in a week." Steve said and Kono nods her head.
"How would you like to earn a little extra credit before you do?" Steve asked.
"I´am listening." Kono said with a smile on her face.
later that same day at Steve´s house. Steve is looking at a photo of a man on a laptop when Camilla and Danny walks in.
"Yo, i spoke with Chin, he´s setting up the meeting with Sang Min." Danny said as he walks inside the house holding up a box with Camilla following behind him as she sips on her latte.
"We got that surveillance equipment you asked for." Danny said.
"Either of you recognize this guy?" Steve asked, making Danny and Camilla look at the photo on the laptop.
"Nope." Camilla said before she walks away.
"No, who is he?" Danny asked and Steve tells them the guys name as Danny puts down the box.
" His file says he worked for the Russians as a computer programmer for the SVR." Steve said standing up.
"He was here when my dad was murdered?" Steve said and Danny nods his head.
"I found his palm print in the study, partial boot print in here..." Steve said.
"Wait a minute, how do you know the boot print didn´t belong to Hesse?" Danny asked.
"Hesse wear a size 11 like me except double the print that i found was smaller and Hesse gets his footwork custom made." Steve said, making Camilla shake her head because his brain must be a miserable place.
"Your brain must be a miserable place." Danny said.
"That´s what i was thinking." Camilla said as she turns to Danny who points his finger at her.
"I knew there was as to why i like you, i need a beer, you want one." Danny said as he walks away.
"I´am good." Camilla said, sipping on her latte." What?" She said as she turns to Steve who were starting at her.
"Why´re you here?"
"Because your boss called mine." Camilla said.
"You know what i mean." Steve said folding his arms." You can tell me because I´am going to find out one way our the other.
"I could use a beer." Camilla said as she hurried after Danny and Steve stares after the two of them.
They all get´s a beer and headed outside. Steve puts is beer down on one of the chairs." You gonna tell me what Danno means?" Steve asked changing his shirt.
"Yeah when you tell me what´s in the box." Danny said.
"Truth is i don´t know yet." Steve said as he picked up his beer and sat down on the chair." All i know is that my father wanted me to find it, and right now it´s just a puzzle." Steve said taking a sip of his beer.
"You know, me and Grace like puzzles." Danny said and Steve nods his head before he turns to Camilla and sees her smiling at Danny." You´re a good father." He said, looking back at Danny.
"Yeah, maybe i don´t know." There´s three ways of looking at it. One. I could get myself killed chasing some meth scumbag then what kind of father would i be?" Danny asked.
"I always looked up to my father for that." Steve said.
"You know the truth is, it´s all i got. I need it. I wanna do what I´am good at, i wanna be reminded that I´am good at what i do, if that means having to put up with your twisted beliefs that you´re never wrong then so be." Danny said sitting down on the chair beside Steve´s.
"What´s the third?" Camilla asked.
"Well even though i tell myself that this is permanent, it´s Grace´s home now, and it´s my job to keep it safe." Danny said just as Steve´s cell-phone rings.
Steve looks down at his cell-phone before answering it." Yeah." Steve said." Okay." He said as he nods his head." Alright, good work." Steve said before ending the call.
"What do you got?" Danny asked.
"That was Chin. Sang min bought the pitch, he´s meeting Kono tomorrow morning." Steve said putting his cell-phone back in his pocked.
"Alright, still no guarantee that he´s gonna tell us where Hesse is." Danny said.
"He has too, he´s the only chance i have at finding the man that killed my father." Steve said.
"Well, that means until then I´am free to do what i want?" Camilla asked as she stood.
"The company that bad?" Danny asked taking a sip from his beer.
"Not yours." She said as she turns to Steve with a smile on her face." Bye now." She said as she walks back the way the came.
"Be ready by 10 am" Steve said as he turns his head over his shoulder to see her turning around, saluting him before she turns back around and walks inside the house.
"I like her." Danny said.
"She´s annoying." Steve said taking a sip from his beer." What?" He asked as he sees the look Danny is given him.
"You don´t like her because she dosen´t take your crap."
"She´s going to get someone killed."
"I know someone just like that." Danny said with a smile on his face.
