Season 1. Episode 5:
(O'Neill makes contact with Thor. Thor discovers that Conrad is the last Cha'tahr. Conrad agrees on helping the Asgard on reversing the cloning side effects.).
It starts with Jack and Conrad on a boat, fishing. The sun was up, the water was calm, it was perfect for it. Conrad gave a relaxing sigh. "This is nice. Being out here, fishing. I am glad I agree to this.". Jack snorted. "To bad the others don't think so.". Conrad then shot his head to the water. He could hear something. For the past month, he has learned new things of being a Cha'tahr. He is stronger then Teel'c, he can run up to 55 km/h. (34 mph.). He shot his hand into the water and pulled it out. A big fish clutched in his fist.
Jack could only stare. "What can't you do?". Conrad sighed. "Change the past.". Jack sat there. "We should head back.".
On land they were now sitting and cooking the fish. Conrad was keeping the fire lit while Jack spiced the fish. At that moment, a beam appeared and a little grey alien stood there. While Conrad was confused, Jack held his arms opened. "Thor, buddy, what brings you here?". Thor sat down on a chair. "I excepted your invitation. The Asgard High Council has instructed me to take a vacation.". Conrad looked at him. "Not what I expected for a Norse Mythology god.". Thor looked at him. "Lieutenant Conrad Baird. The Cha'tahr. O'Neill speaks very highly of you.". Conrad turned to Jack. "Thanks, I guess.". Thor sat there and was staring at the sky. "Your air is more, pure then our recycled air.". Conrad then looked at him. "Explain.". Thor did. "Our atmosphere has an electro shield that keeps Replicators from entering our planet. But the shield keeps our air unbreathable. We use generators to reconstruct oxygen.". Thor then looked down. "I need your help. Our cloning technology has depleaded. We believe that Cha'tahr DNA can reverse the effects done by our cloning technology. Our race depends on this.". Conrad thought on it.
"Have you lost your mind?" asked General Hammond. Of course Conrad reported this. Even Carter didn't like this. "You know they are gonna experiment on you right?". Conrad shrugged. Thor corrected her. "We are only taking a DNA sample. We believe that altered DNA can reverse the cloning effects. We want our race to evolve naturally. Not by cloning ourselves.". Conrad nodded. "Exactly.". Jack shrugged. "I don't know kid, this seems dangerous.". Conrad looked at him. "I swam through the pipeline of the base to catch a Goa'uld. I was nearly possessed, I nearly drowned, and nearly got boiled alive. And you consider this dangerous?". Teel'c agreed. "Those are valid points.". Jack then pulled a defeated face. "Do it.". And with in seconds, Conrad and Jack were on board Thor's ship. Thor then walked to the bridge. "Our lab is on one of our moons. We will arrive in two hours.".
Conrad was walking around the ship and taking in the structure of the ship. He always wanted to go into outer space. And he is! As he was wondering around he heard a rattle. Turning around he saw the one thing he wish he didn't. A replicator. He immediately ran for the door and locked it. He kept running until he made it to the bridge. "Replicator! There is a replicator on-board.". Jack then immediately stomped his foot. I knew I should've brought my shotgun.". Thor then raised his hand. "No need to fear. That replicator is part of our new weaponry. We reprogramed a replicator and now it serves under our command.". Jack then turned to Thor. "How?". Thor then moved a stone on the pad. Schematics then came up. Conrad then looked out of the window. "This it?" he asked. Thor nodded. Then with in a beam, they were in the lab. An Asgard then approached. "Greetings, I am Odin, Supreme Councillor of the Asgard High Council.". Thor gave a bow. Jack then turned to Thor. "I thought you were the leader.". Thor turned to Jack. "I am a member of the High Council. And Supreme Commander of the Asgard fleet.".
Conrad was instructed to sit down. The blood was taken and he was ready to go home.
Back on Earth, Carter was in her lab looking through her microscope. Doc Fraiser then walked in. "What are you doing?" she asked. Sam didn't look up. "I am keeping myself occupied.". Doc Fraiser then looked at the scope. "There isn't anything on the plate.". Sam then looked at her friend. "I don't have anything to do. I am just trying to pass the time until the Colonel and Lieutenant comes back.". Doc Fraiser then hummed. "Cassie wants you to introduce your friend to her.". Sam then looked at her. "Really?". Fraiser smiled. "I told her about the love potion scenario.". Sam blushed. "I don't remember much of it.". Fraiser then laughed. "Cassie still wants to meet him.". Sam then smiled. "I am gonna go.".
As Sam walked out a beam appeared and Conrad and Jack appeared before her. Conrad then checked his boot. "Even my boots are clean.". Sam then came to him. "Hey uhmm, Cassie wants to meet you.". Conrad shot a blank. "Who's Cassie?". Sam then remembered he never met her. "Oh she's Janet's daughter.". Conrad blinked. "I didn't know Frasier had a daughter.". Sam corrected him. "Adopted.". Conrad nodded. "Why doe she want to meet me?" he asked. Sam folded her hands. "She knows everyone on the team, except you.". Conrad nodded again. "I guess.".
At 18:45 they arrived at Fraiser's house. As they got at the door and Fraiser opened. "Cassie! I am home!". A teenage girl came running down with a phone in her hand. "Hey mom, hey Sam.". But she stopped half way down the stairs. She fluttered her eyes and threw her hair backwards. "Hi." She said. Conrad stared at his watch. "Look at the time, I have to go." As he was attempting to leave, Sam grabbed him by the shoulder. "Not yet.". Conrad looked at the floor. "I have some things to do.".
Now on the couch, Cassie was across the room, her head resting on her hands, staring at him. Conrad kept tapping his fingers. "What are we gonna do?". Sam then stood up, walking to him. "Whatever you want." She said. Conrad then spoke immediately. "I want to leave.". Then at that moment, he disappeared. Landing on his ass. He saw Odin in front of him. "You are in time. Your DNA reversed the effects of the cloning technology. We are back to normal.". Conrad smiled. "I am pleased to here that.". Odin then bowed. "I am in your debt.". Conrad held his hand out. "Do me a favour, can you drop me at my front door? I don't want to explain this to Carter." He asked. Odin moved a stone and next you knew, Conrad was at his front door. With a sigh he got his keys out. But then he noticed the door was unlocked. Going into Cha'tahr mode, he opened the door. His lights were on and Carter was on his single seated couch. "Thought I might find you here." She said. Conrad powered down and then dropped his keys. "You picked my lock I guess.". Sam folded her arms. "Thor huh?" she asked. Conrad snorted. "Nope, Odin saved my ass." He said. "Beer?" he offered. Sam nodded. "Sure.". Conrad took another one out. Opening it he handed one to her. She took it and sipped on it. "Why?" she asked. Conrad looked at her. "I think my DNA managed to reverse the cloning technology effects on them. I am a saviour, again.". Sam placed the beer down. "No, why did you want to leave?" she asked. Conrad then sighed. "As a kid, I was a skinny little big glasses nerdy type. Huge gap in my teeth. I was constantly picked on. High School changed that. I changed. I started as the weird kid, scared of everything. My friend Jacin, he and his friends, they took me in. I lost them. I lost everything. That's why I am taking things slow.". Sam then held his hand. "You can trust me.". Conrad then looked at her. "Can I?" he asked. Sam smiled. "Kiss me." She whispered.
Now it was Conrad's turn to be speechless. "Me? What about protocol?" he asked. Sam then sighed. "Did you ever want to break the rules?" she asked. Conrad smiled. "I want to do it every time I see you." He said. Sam then lend in. "Then kiss me." She said. Conrad hesitated. But swallowing his fears he said one thing. "Screw it.". Grabbing her by the hips he picked her up within a second and they started kissing each other rather roughly. Sense most of Conrad's furniture fell over. They fell onto the floor. As they were kissing, Sam started working on his jeans. But Conrad touched her wrist. "Please no.". Sam then got off of him. "Sorry, I got a little excited." She said. Conrad got up and chuckled. "Yeah me too. Does this mean we are dating?" he asked. Sam smiled. "We knew each other for 6 months. But yeah. I love too be your girlfriend.".
