I hope you're all enjoying this story!
When Spock and Kirk came back from checking out the cave Alex walked over to them, Spock holding up his hands as he closed his eyes. "Don't get too close Alex," he warned her, Alex stopping about six feet from them.
"What happened?" she asked, looking from Kirk to Spock.
"Spock went into the cave," he explained. "To take readings but he looked at the diamonds, we think he's been afflicted by- whatever happens in there."
"I am affected." Spock spoke as he looked at Alex, his eyes hungry, his jaw tight as he looked at her.
"I understand," she said as she nodded. "Kirk, should I go?" she asked.
"No-" Spock spoke quickly before closing his eyes, turning his head slightly.
"I don't think it would be wise," Kirk said to her softly. "I think you need to stay at a good distance from the men, but if you were to leave, it would cause a pandemonium."
"I understand Sir," she said before she looked at McCoy who was walking over.
"I've never seen anything like it Jim, each of these men has about twice the normal level of testosterone. They're literally overwhelmed by the testosterone so when they even so much as see a woman they want to do what all men do when they see a beautiful woman."
"Can you help them Bones?" Kirk asked.
"I may be able to give them a testosterone blocker, see how that helps," McCoy said. "I'll have to have the Enterprise send down some supplies."
"And will that work for Vulcans?" Alex asked as she eyed Spock who was looking at her like he wanted to throw her down and take her the way he had done that morning.
"I don't know," McCoy admitted as he looked over at Spock. "I've never had to do something like that for a Vulcan."
"And you won't have to Doctor," Spock said as he glanced at McCoy but quickly turned his attention back to Alex. "As a Vulcan I am able to control my impulses, I will not let something like this make me unfit for my service." he told them before stepping away.
"Bones, get on that." Kirk said and McCoy nodded. "Take a man with you, Alex, come here," he said gesturing to Alex, stepping away from the others.
"Sir, if you want me to go back onboard I am more than happy to-"
"No, Alex, I just want to know, is there any reason one of the men would have attacked you while you were off with Mr. Spock?" he asked and she looked away slightly.
"Mr. Spock helped me up," she told him. "I had fallen."
"I saw Mr. Spock help you up- that was after one of the the men had attacked already." Kirk said lowly.
Alex clenched her jaw slightly before looking at Kirk with a slightly guilty expression. "Mr. Spock told me not to tell anyone." she said softly.
"And I understand and appreciate your loyalty, but if this can help my crew stay safe and navigate this whole situation I need to know the nature of your relationship with Mr. Spock."
"We're sleeping together," she said softly, Kirk looking surprised as he stared at her like he didn't expect her to admit it.
"I- I see, and how- how long has that been going on?"
"It just started last night." she admitted. "But we've spent every night in the past month talking and getting to know each other."
"Explains a few things," Kirk mumbled to himself before clearing his throat. "I see, well, Alex, as Mr. Spock is not your direct superior, you are not in violation of any rules," he told her, Alex nodding. "But as someone who is seeing Mr. Spock- I should let you know, Vulcans are very very passionate creatures, he plays it off well, and hides it because that's what Vulcans do-"
"It's called Kolinar." she interrupted Kirk who looked surprised. "We kind of did a mind meld last night," she explained, blushing at revealing something so intimate to the Captain. "I learned a lot about Vulcan, the planet, and the people." she told him, giving him a weak smile. "But I know. He's a very passionate man, and I'll make sure not to touch anyone while Mr. Spock is affected." she promised him.
"Good girl," Kirk nodded before looking around, it was getting later in the day, it being a small planet the days were shorter than Earth's days and it was starting to get close to twilight.
As they settled down for the evening the men of the teams started to make a fire and roll out their bed rolls, Alex was sitting to the side, keeping an eye on everyone as McCoy sat near her, working on the testosterone blockers.
"Alex," One of the men approached, one of the security personnel from the ship stepping forward to stop him before he got too close. "Alex, I just- I wanted to bring you some food we made," he said and she smiled at him softly.
"Thank you," she said softly as the security officer tried to take it from the man.
"No- I want to give it to her!" he shouted, Alex blinking in surprise before looking at McCoy who nodded.
"It's okay Bradford," she told him and he looked back at her before stepping to the side, the man stepping forward, handing her the plate of food he'd made for her.
"Son," McCoy said as he looked at him. "Come here a minute."
"No I'm talking to Alex," he whined as he looked to Alex. "Tell him I can talk to you."
"It'll just take a minute." Alex told him. "Go ahead, I'll be right here." he sighed and stepped over to where McCoy was as Kirk walked over, Alex holding the plate to him and Kirk accepting a small piece of fish that had been cooked by the fire.
"Most popular girl on the planet," he commented.
"Oh shut up." she replied with a smile before looking at him quickly. "Sir."
"It's okay," he assured her, eating the fish. "Think Bones can get them back to normal?"
"It's just weird." she said as she looked at him. "I have- I had four brothers, and these guys, they're reminding me of what it was like when they were all going through puberty," she explained and Kirk seemed to think about that for a moment.
"Professor!" he called as he walked away from her quickly. Alex watched him go before she set down her plate and walked over to where Spock was sitting, working on his tricorder and uploading the readings to his PADD.
"How are you feeling?" she asked, making sure to keep a good three or four feet from him.
"It is difficult to concentrate when you are so close," he told her, his voice stern, Alex looking away guiltily.
"I'm sorry, I'll go." she said softly.
"No-" Spock turned around, grabbing her hand. Alex froze at that, looking to the group of men who were all laying down by the fire, and mercifully weren't staring at her.
"Spock," she said softly, kneeling down to look at him. "You can't touch me, it'll send them all into the outrage," she told him.
"I don't care," Spock said. "If need be I will fight them all, show them all who you really belong to."
"I don't belong to you Spock," she told him, staring him in the eye. "I belong to myself. When I spend time with you, that is not me giving myself to you, it's me hoping for a partnership with you." she said softly. "I'm Catholic, I've had enough of that patriarchal crap to last a lifetime, I don't need it from you too."
Spock held her wrist a little tighter as he looked down for a moment before nodding. "You are right," he told her. "I- I am sorry Alex. This is a very difficult thing to deal with. It is taking all of my power not to throw you down right now." he spoke softly, Alex smiling gently before nodding.
"Well, as much as I would like that," she said softly, reaching out to brush her fingertips against his lips softly. "And I would," she assured him. "I think that would definitely set off the Outrage."
Spock gave her fingertips the gentlest of kisses as she touched his lips, pulling her closer by the wrist he still held onto he moved his other hand to the back of her neck, pulling her closer before-
"Spock let go of her." Kirk said, his voice low, and his tone one that was not to be disobeyed. Spock stiffened, Alex could feel his stress as he gripped the back of her neck a little tighter.
"Spock," she said softly, trying to break through the feeling of overwhelming emotion he was no doubt feeling. "Spock," she tried to send him relaxing pictures, tried to speak soothingly. "I am your woman," she said softly, not caring that Kirk was standing there, not caring who heard her in that moment. "But you have to let me go."
Spock was still for a long moment, it felt like an hour before he finally, slowly released his grip on her. "Good," Kirk said as he reached down, reaching for Alex's elbow but she jerked away from them both.
"Don't touch me." she warned Kirk who looked like he was internally curing himself for forgetting.
"I figured it out." Kirk told them both. "This planet was once home to a species who grew up in the shadow of these mountains, they mined the mountains, and they bore children to mine the mountains, their extra testosterone was used to make it easier to mine, when the children were old enough they went into the cave of gems and were basically programmed to become miners."
"The only reason it took us so long to be affected is because we weren't focusing on mining," Professor Wright said from next to Kirk. "We were terraforming, we only started going into the mines in the past year to see what we could learn while we were terraforming, that's when everything changed."
"So can you fix it?" Alex asked as she looked at them.
"I can," McCoy said as he walked over. "The testosterone blocker will help everyone feel normal again and as long as they stay out of the diamond cave they'll get back to normal."
"Will that work for Spock too?" she asked.
"It should, though it'll have to be a pretty high dose. I'm going to give these men their hypos first, then come back to deal with Spock." McCoy told her and she nodded before standing up.
"Alex, while we're doing that, I'd like you and the security team to go to the beam site and start bringing the supplies for the team down." Kirk told her. "Take point on that for me."
"Aye Captain," she nodded before gesturing to the security team. "Come on boys, time to earn our pay for the week."
After getting up and walking away with the security team she was able to call the enterprise, tell them to start beaming down supplies and soon they were stacking the supplies by the cave while Dr. McCoy gave all of the men their shots.
That night they went back up to the Enterprise, Alex not saying a word to anyone after beaming up, just walking straight to her room and taking off her uniform. She'd toss it in the laundry and bring it to get washed later. After getting into the shower she scrubbed herself down, scrubbing away the dirt and everything from the day.
When she got out of the shower she brushed her teeth, put on lotion and then walked out to her bedroom, pausing when she saw Spock there. "Did you get the shot?" she asked.
"Yes," Spock replied.
"Did it work?" she asked and Spock looked at her, his eyes taking in the dampness of her skin, the way her hair hung in damp tendrils around her shoulders.
"It had taken the edge off, I believe that is the term." he told her and she smiled before nodding.
"That's definitely a term," she told him as she moved to her closet and opened it. "So you're still feeling all pent up?" she asked.
"Yes," Spock replied and she looked over at him, slowly closing the closet door before stepping up to him, looking into his dark eyes and biting her lower lip before releasing it and asking
"Well what do you want me to do about it?"
That was all it took for Spock to show her exactly what he wanted her to do about it.
A very exhausting two hours later Alex lay with Spock, his arm around her shoulders, her head resting on it and his hand gently tracing his first and second finger over the back of her hand, over her fingers and then back down to her wrist.
"How you feeling?" she asked Spock who made a small noise of contentment.
"I am pleased to have pleasured you," he told her. "And I am pleased to report that I am finding it much easier to control my urges when it is just you and I."
"And what urges are you trying to control now?" she asked as she looked at him. "I thought I made it very clear, I in no way expect you to hold back."
"You have," Spock said. "But I feel it is important to remind you I am a Vulcan, I am much stronger than humans, I could physically hurt you very badly if I so wanted to."
"And what if I so wanted you to?" she asked, Spock looking down at her.
"I believe I had inflicted enough pain on you for one evening." he told her.
"You know I don't see it that way."
"And how do you see it?" he questioned.
"The way I see it- You're doing exactly what I asked you to do." she smiled as she looked up at him, Spock giving her a rare smile in return.
Alex sighed as she rolled over, resting her cheek against his chest, closing her eyes as she ran her fingers along his chest, smiling at the feeling of his chest hair gently prickling her cheek.
The two were silent and still for a while, just being in each other's company before there was a whining whistle alert sound, Spock letting out a small sigh as he pulled Alex closer for a moment. "Kirk to Spock," Spock got out of the bed, going to the intercom on the wall and pressed the button.
"Spock here Captain."
"I would like to talk to you at your earliest convenience. No rush."
"Understood Captain, then as there is no rush, I will assume tomorrow morning is acceptable to you."
"Sure thing Spock. Seek you tomorrow. Kirk out."
Spock stepped away from the intercom, turning around to see Alex sitting up in bed, tucking her hair behind her ear as she looked up at him. "I may have told Captain Kirk about it," she admitted. "But only because he gave me a direct order to tell him."
"I understand," Spock told her as he looked down at her as he walked over. "The Captain would have needed to know given the situation we were in on the planet's surface."
"Exactly," she told him as he reached out to her, treading his fingers through the back of her hair.
Alex looked up at him with a smile before turning her eyes directly in front of her, leaning forward and running her tongue over Spock's sensitive flesh. His fingers tightened in her hair as she ran her tongue over his tip, her tongue brushing over his bulbous head, then the ridge of his second gland. She felt Spock grip her hair tighter, a good sign if she knew one.
He knelt one knee on the edge of her bed as she put her hands on his hips, holding him there as she started to take him further into her mouth, feeling his length start to harden, his hips rocking gently before she gifted her eyes to look up at him, holding his hips a little tighter, taking him further into her mouth and then pulling back, running the tip of her tongue along the underside of his swelling cock as she did.
"Alex," Spock breathed, his voice shaking as he looked down at her.
"You want me to stop?" she asked playfully, his grip in her hair tightening even more as the worst registered.
"I do not," he told her, guiding her head back closer to him.
Alex smiled before parting her lips, taking him back into her mouth, and not stopping, not until Spock's hips quit thrusting against her mouth and she pulled back, wiping the corner of her mouth.
He cupped her face, his thumb brushing away some of the drool on her chin as he looked down at her before kissing her. Alex kissed him back, the kiss deep and passionate and almost needy, his hands cupping her face were strong and as they kissed she sighed, letting down her guards, and opening her mind to his.
She knew Spock could feel that she was opening her mind to his and she felt the touch of his mind, slowly and gentle, like he was caressing her consciousness, teasing her until he plunged their minds together, like he had plunged himself into her.
Alex moaned as images mingled in their shared minds, images of things Spock had been thinking about, impulses and desires he'd had on the planet's surface, she could see herself on her knees, her uniform pushed above her hips, the tights torn down the back only enough for him to plunge into her, taking her and claiming her in front of the whole team.
Alex shuddered at the image, not out of revulsion, but excitement at the thought.
The image changed to Spock fighting the men, then again claiming Alex as his own, laying her in the charred remains of the village, ripping the uniform from her body and having her there in the dirt like they were wild people.
His fantasies were so unhinged, so unlike him as a whole, she couldn't help wonder about it and then she decided to try something.
She pictured herself on the bridge, everyone working, no one paying any attention as Spock sat in the Captain's chair, Alex riding him, their bodies moving together- then they were on Vulcan, the land of his ancestors, a beautiful cliff, the three suns beating down on their naked bodies as Spock made her his in the land and the eyes of his fathers.
Spock growled- he actually growled against her lips and deepened the kiss, biting at her lips, then pulling away to bite at her jaw, her neck, her clavicle and shoulder as his hands moved to her knees, pulled them around his hips and he positioned himself at her tight warm entrance, thrusting into her completely with an easy motion.
Alex let out a low, almost guttural moan at the rough thrust but Spock didn't stop, nor did the images.
"This is what we both want," Spock said in her mind. "I have seen it in you and you have seen it in me."
"It is."
The image of them on Vulcan was the one that stayed in her mind, if anyone had asked her they had actually been on Vulcan that night, they had become one under the three suns of his ancestors, and as they became one in physicality she felt them become one in the mind meld, she could feel pleasure from what he was doing to her- but she could also feel the pleasure he was getting from her.
The feeling of orgasm at that moment with their minds connected so deeply- it made it so much better than anything she had ever felt in her life, waves of pleasure washing over both of them through the connection in their minds.
Alex gripped the sheets, clawed at Spock, her body shaking, arching, writhing against him before both of their orgasms subsided, the waves of pleasure still rolling through their bodies, Spock's hunger still flowing through their bond, her aftershocks of pleasure making his hips jerk every so often as Alex lay her arms over his back, Spock's head resting in the crook of her neck, his hands resting on her thighs.
The bond in their minds was still very much present, and Alex felt herself clumsily filing through memories, like turning a page with shaking childish hands who have no idea how to treat a book, she knew that couldn't be comfortable for Spock because she could feel the discomfort through the meld.
"I'll stop," she offered and felt Spock kiss her neck softly.
"No need. You will learn,"
He began to help her, categorizing his thoughts, showing her how to file through them in a different, more efficient manner, and while she wasn't nearly as good as he was, she started finding ways to ease through the thoughts and memories in his mind.
Spock sighed against her neck when she got to a particularly curious memory, touching at the edges of it almost hesitantly before he willed himself to think of it, giving her permission to understand him better than anyone else had ever understood him before.
When Alex fell asleep it was with the knowledge that she had survived her first encounter on an alien planet, and her second night as the lover of a Vulcan.
