The kids didn't know what to think the 4 oldest always believed what Ivan or Madam B told them even when they shouldn't have because they knew they were both liars but they had believed every word they told them about their parents but they couldn't have Israel and Viktoriya believing the same thing they had to be better than their siblings, they had to believe that there was a life outside of the Red Room to have hope even if their siblings hopes died a long time ago.
"Do you think it's true?" Veronica asked
"I don't know," Anastasiya answered truthfully
"It doesn't matter if it's true or not. They weren't there! So fuck them and fuck all of this!" Nicholai said he was hurt he was had taken care of and looked out for all 6 of them as best as he could he had taken care of Viktoriya every time she cried, took care of everyone and he was tired, for once he wanted someone to take care of him but he was burden this watching and protecting his siblings, his family.
Nicholai was staring intensely at Steve and Steve was doing the same he was taking in all of Nicholai features and how he looked so much like him that Steve couldn't find a single trace of Natasha in Nicholai, this was his son he had a son, a son he never knew about a son he couldn't protect, he also had a daughter and who looked so much like her mother except for her blue eyes those where his. Anastasiya wasn't looking at Tony she was mostly looking at Natasha who was looking at Viktoriya and Israel and those 2 were looking at Natasha with the most admiration and happiness in their eyes that Natasha has ever seen and she didn't deserve that, she didn't deserve any of them.
"Hey, Vik and Izzy why don't you go play, we'll go get you soon okay," Veronica said turning to the 2 youngest they had a lot to talk about with the adult's stuff they didn't have to hear.
"But-" Viktoriya started but Anastasiya cut her off," Go, go, we'll see you soon. You can catch up with mommy and daddy later." Anastasiya said she knew Viktoriya's intentions. She also knew by the look Nicholai was giving Rogers he was about to blow at any minute, reluctantly Viktoriya got down from her chair helped Israel down before the 2 left the room.
"I can't do it okay!" Nicholai said
"Can't do what?" Anastasiya asked, making everyone in the room look at her.
"I won't forgive them. You know it hurts that they made us think we were left but what hurts more is they didn't even know we exist." Nicholai said
"I'm not asking you to forgive them. But don't make a scene in front of Viktoriya and Israel, they don't need to see you lose your shit." Anastasiya said
"At least yours is here for you to scream at them," Jordan said he wanted to see what his father looked like but he knew if he did he would be feeling just like Nicholai.
"Okay let's stop the pity party, we hate them that's fine but sulking about it isn't going to change anything," Anastasiya said and everyone knew she was correct that they could always hate them and it wasn't like them not knowing they existed would change anything they still weren't forgiven.
"So, we know you all have questions but we don't have answers," Steve said and he wishes he did have answers because they deserved answers.
"That's not the only reason we're here? Is it?" Veronica asked, ignoring Steve.
"Stark the hard drive?" Fury said as Tony produced the hard drive from his pocket and passed it to Fury who connected to the table," One of you knows how to open this hard drive." Fury said as he looked at the 4 kids in front of him who looked unfazed.
"Patchy you have too much faith in us," Nicholai said
"Really because I'm betting that Anastasiya was the one who did the whole programming on this hard drive." Fury said as a hologram appeared.
"Why is it always me? My IQ is a 76 at best." Anastasiya said which wasn't true. She was sure her IQ was well above everyone in the room.
"You can't be serious with Tony and Natasha as your parents and your IQ is a 76." This was said by Bruce who didn't believe for a damn minute that Anastasiya was dumb."Like my science bro said there is no way your dumb being my kid." Tony said he also didn't believe that Anastasiya didn't get the Stark intelligence.
"I'm so sorry to crush your heart but I'm not as smart as you think I'm," Anastasiya said
"So if it isn't you who is it?" Fury said done with all the bullshit he has to deal with today he just wanted all these sons of bitches out of his office and to not see them as long as possible.
"Well, we do need to break the code but we're missing 2 people," Jordan said
"And where the hell are these 2 people?" Fury asked
"In the red room if not already dead," Veronica said this wasn't entirely true they didn't need those 2 people not at all but they liked messing with them.
"Oh, that's low Vee, really low," Anastasiya said
"What we all know one day she's going to get herself killed," Veronica said
"So how are we supposed to get the information?" Sam asked
"There has to be some way to crack that hard drive. Where did you get it?" Maria asked Anastasiya
"I don't know," Anastasiya said with a shrug of her shoulders she could see Fury getting furious and everyone else growing restless," So you don't know what's on the hard drive and anything that's on it could be useless," Tony said now he felt like his time was wasted trying to crack an uncrackable, potentially useless hard drive.
"Yep," Veronica said and they all heard Fury let out a string of curses and look at the selling while," Get the hell out of my office, and don't you 4 ever step foot in my organization. Get out!" Fury screamed and it looked like he was very close to a heart attack.
"Fine, we're leaving." Anastasiya said as she and the other got up but she stopped short before turning around to Fury with a mischievous smirk," What are you waiting to get out!" Fury yelled," I thought you wanted me to crack the hard drive?" Anastasiya said innocently, batting her eyelashes while the others chuckled lightly.
"Sit down and open this damn fucking hard drive." Fury said as they took their respective seats and Anastasiya got to cracking the hard drive," So what is your IQ?" Tony asked with interest since now he knew his daughter wasn't dumb," I don't know." Anastasiya,he kept cracking the hard drive and when she was done they didn't see anything pop up.
"What the hell is this?" Fury said his patience was going thin.
"What's in the hard drive," Anastasiya said
"How may I be of service?" A smooth British female voice came from nowhere, surprising very expert Anastasiya who had a big smile on her face.
"Aria would you mind hacking into Hydra and extracting all their files and while you're at it I would like live video footage of the academy," Anastasiya told her AI.
"You're telling me that you didn't have the information already?" Fury said
"Yep."
"And why the hell not?" he growled
"Because if I got the information beforehand they would've known but now you get twice the information."
"So this whole time I was hacking your AI," Tony said as he watched Aria work many files were appearing as he hacked into Hydra.
"No, she was hacking you."
"What do you mean she was hacking me?" Tony asked he knew these kids were dangerous but having them know about Pepper or Morgan makes him anxious.
"Aria were you able to extract any information from Mister Stark or Shield?"
"Mister Star seems to have had his own AI. It wasn't possible. Shield security was weak and not up to standard as much as Mister Stark." Aria answers.
"When did you build her? For Tony, it took him years." Brue asked
"I built her when I was 3 it took 2 days."
"I have live footage of the academy."
"Persent." Anastasiya said
The footage showed girls handcuffed to beds. The girls couldn't be more than 15 or 16 years old. They were all sleeping which the Avengers found hard since one of their arms was handcuffed to a bed but they figured being handcuffed all your life you got used to it. The footage changed to boys who looked the same age as the girls also handcuffed to one bed.
"Aria Madam's office please."
"Ms. I would like to inform you that there are younger children in different dormitories," Aria said as she switched the footage which shows a woman who was most likely in her late 4o or 5o and a man who was about the same age he was taller than the woman and was pacing back and forth.
"Would you like to stop pacing Ivan?" Madam B said her voice thick with a Russian accent. The rest of the Avengers saw how Natasha and the kids straightened up at the sight of these 2 people as if they still had control over them.
"Do you not understand the gravity of the situation! My best prizes are gone!" Ivan shouted but the woman didn't even flinch from where she was sitting behind the desk.
"We'll find them. If not, we will create more."
"I don't want to spend years rebuilding what we work so hard for! I want her! I want them!"
"You don't think I want them either." Madam snarled
"The daughters of Yelena, Natalia, Silvia are my prize! My red roses! You just want The sons of Captain Amerian and the stupid bird guy!" The kids saw how Natasha tense at the mention of the name Yelena
"Get over yourself Elena and Dimitri are still here. You're just missing your perfect little Anastasiya and Veronica."
"I wouldn't say we're perfect but." Both girls said at the same time with a mischievous smirk.
"We need them to find them before they find them," Madam said
"You think they're going to find their parents? Please they think they're alone in the world, they think they don't have parents they are not searching." Ivan said how wrong he was.
"They'll come back, everyone else came back. We just have to find them."
"And we will and when we do we can have our prizes back," Madam said flashing Ivan a malice smirk which he returned.
"Okay, that's enough we don't need to see that," Tony said disgusted by the fact that these people thought his kid was their property as if she was some sort of trophy to be put on display.
"Aria layout of the building and positions of the guards please," Anastasiya said
"Why do you need the layout of the building?" Sam asked as he looked at the layout of the building. It was big which meant lots of security.
"We don't," Nicholai said his voice slipped into his Russian accent no doubt effects from hearing Ivan and Madam B
"Section C it's the least guarded," Jordan said as he also slipped from to his Russian accent.
"No breakout room first." Veronica said
"What are they doing?" Tony asked
"They're planning a rescue mission," Wanda said she had heard all about their plan to rescue their peers; that was the only thing they thought about.
"Correct. Break room first kill the guards there get Dimitri and Elena." Anastasiya said
"Woah, Woah back up a minute your planning a rescue mission and you just busted out of that place," Sam said
"You're not doing it, I'm getting my best agents. You 4 are going nowhere near that place." Fury said
"It sounds like he cares," Jordan said teasingly.
"He's right you guys aren't going," Natasha said she had been studying the layout of the building and watching the video feed.
"Section A is out," Nicholai said
"Why?" Anastasiya asked
"They got Fedorov." Nicholai said, pointing to a mean-looking guard," What's up with that dude?" Sam asked," He's a super-soldier, he has like 4 doses of the serum in his blood, he's stronger than us." Veronica said.
"I say section D there's a weak point," Steve said
"That isn't a weak point it's a trap and too close to guardian quarters," Jordan said
"How do you know that?" Loki asked the mortal
"2 people tried to escape that way a few years ago. We had to torture them before killing them it wasn't pretty." Anastasiya answered.
"Anastasiya takes the guard's room trap them and I take their quarters and trap them and we get the little kids out before meeting back with the 2 of you." Veronica said," You do realize there's 4 of you, and you're taking down a building with hundreds of guards?" Tony said these kids were talking about a suicide mission, not a rescue plan.
"We've taken down worse and there's 6 of us, maybe 5 if they put Dimitri in cryo it's going to be a hell waking him up."
"Mister Dimitri was brought out of cryo a few days ago," Aria answered
"I don't think you're hearing us. You're not going on this rescue mission, it'll just trigger you-"
"And it won't trigger you?" Anastasiya fired back, staring at Natasha coldly," No it won't." Natasha said back but she and everyone knew it wasn't the truth it would trigger her she has buried her past for so long she's just asking for the unwanted memories to resurfaces.
"Either we go or no one goes and we go anyways," Nicholai said
"Fine, I'll go with you," Natasha said she wasn't about to lose her kids the ones she never thought she have to a suicide mission or let them go back into the hands of Hydra to be used and manipulated to Hydras rule.
"I'll go too," Steve said
"I'll go," Sam said
"Me too," Wanda said
"I'll go too and so would my brother," Thor said
"I'll go for medical support," Bruce said now everyone was looking at Toy he really wanted to go he did but he promised Pepper, Morgan that his Iron Man days were over and he wanted to keep that promise.
"I can't I-"
"Promised your wife and daughter your Iron Man days were behind you." All 4 kids said in unions all they heard was Tony thought about Pepper's reaction to Anastasiya and Israel.
"Tat's creepy and please stay out of my head," Tony said
"We don't need you in your suit you can just wait in the Helicarrier," Anastasiya said
"Nope absolutely not." Fury said like hell was he going to let them take his Helicarrier," She's right Fury a Helicarrier can fit all those kids and the prisoners." Steve said backing Anastasiya up.
"You said there were less than a hundred kids."
"Yeah in our grade level but if I'm right which I am then the red room has gotten new recruits over these last 5 years all the beds are filled."
"Fine but Hill will also go on this mission."
"Should we call Clint?" Maria asked she was kind of excited to be back in the field," We have to he needs to know about this." Tony said pointing to the 4 children," Wait you haven't called him?" Sam asks," We tried he wouldn't pick up. His voicemail said he took his family on a vacation." Maria said.
"So anyone else joining this party?" Veronica said brushing off the mention of her supposed father's name being brought up," Yeah there is." Natasha said she had already called Yelena and her parents they were awaiting updates on everything.
