"Villains? There's no way they could get in a hero school!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Sensei?" Momo stepped towards Thirteen. "What about the trespasser sensors?"

"We have them of course, but..."

"Did the villains only appear here or in the whole school?" Todoroki questioned. "Either way, if the sensors aren't responding one of their quirks must be interfering with them."

His posture was the exact opposite of Amari's. He exuded a calm and confident aura, his face showing no sign of fear. A steep contrast with Amari, hand gripping tightly to Mina's, eyes darting around the area non-stop.

"Thirteen" Aizawa addressed without looking away from the growing crowd of villains gathering below them. "Evacuate the students and try to call the school. These villains have something to counteract the sensors. Possibly someone with radio-type powers. Kaminar, try contacting the school with your quirk."

"Right!"

"What about you, sir?" Midoriya questioned, tone wavering slightly. "Will you fight by yourself? With that many villains, even if you can erase their quirks, your style of one-on-one fights with the element of surprise..."

"You can't be a hero with only one trick up your sleeve."

Without another glance their teacher jumped right into the fray. His scarf flew out left and right, grabbing onto limbs as villains were dropping around him rapidly.

Amari's eyes widened in awe. She had never seen him fight before and quite frankly assumed he wasn't very strong. She swallowed nervously as her eyes followed every move the man made. There was no doubting his prowess but there was only one of him and maybe a hundred of them. There was no way he could take on all of them... Where was All Might when you needed him.

"Come on we need to go!" Iida ushered them towards the entrance along with Thirteen. "Midoriya!"

As she felt Mina tugging on her hand, she averted her gaze from Aizawa, following the class while sending a silent prayer that their teacher would be alright.

"I won't let you."

Abruptly, she stopped walking as purple mist started swirling before them. Yellow eyes glowed in the mist as they slowly swept over the group.

"It is a pleasure to meet you. We are the league of villains. It may have been presumptuous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of heroes . I believe All Might should have been here. Has there been a change in schedules?"

Amari bit her lip. Why wasn't he here? Wasn't he their teacher? Surely he would be able to stop the villains. He would be able to help Aizawa.

"No matter." Her attention was drawn back to the villain looming before them. "Well, that is neither here or there, I will still play my part."

The mist thickened and spread towards them. She tightened her grip on Mina, who would surely have bruises on her hand.

Air rushed past her as Kirishima and Bakugou rushed past her and towards the villain. Shouts left their lips as a powerful explosion went off, causing a stream of warm air to blow ruffle her hair.

"Did you consider getting beaten by us before you could do anything?" Kirishima grinned confidently.

"Oh my, that was dangerous." The smoke caused by Bakugou's explosion cleared, showing the villain unharmed. "As expected from students of such a fine school."

"Move away you two!" Thirteen yelled.

"My job is to scatter you all and send you to your deaths."

Amari's breath quickened as purple mist swirled around her, thickening until she felt like she couldn't breath. Mina's hand disappeared from her grip, as did the floor beneath her feet. Her ears popped as an unpleasant tingling sensation passed over her body.

She took a shuddering breath as she felt herself make contact with the floor, mist clearing away. She winced as she felt one of her knees being scraped open by the rough ground. Her eyes darted around, mist now thin enough to see through it, taking in her surroundings.

Surrounding her where buildings that had crumpled down at least partly. The earthquake zone?

"Well, well, well look at what we have here?"

Her back stiffened as she quickly turned around to see three villains looming in front of her. One of them had an obvious modification quirk, his arms seemed to be made of some type of hardened scales, forked tongue slithering in and out of his mouth as he grinned at her. The other two had less obvious quirks, one brandishing a long knife and the other seemingly carrying no weapons.

She was absolutely screwed.

Shakily, she pulled a pair of medical scissors out of one of her pockets and clutched it with two hands as a makeshift weapon.

"That ain't gonna help you, little girl." The scaly villain guffawed, his buddies snickering beside him.

They were right. The scissors were small and not at all intended for stabbing or slashing purposes. Her knuckles grew white as she gripped the scissors tighter, taking small slow steps back.

"Let's enjoy this." The one with the knife stepped towards her menacingly.

Amari shuddered as her back hit the wall of a building. She was stuck. She was going to die. Tears built in her eyes.

"Out of the way, first aid kit!"

A flash of blonde zipped in front of her. An explosion rocked the ground precariously as the knife villain got blown away.

"I'm gonna blow you all to fucking bits."

Without wasting another second, he changed course and sprinted towards the scaly villain, quickly taking care of him by sending an exploding fist into his abdomen, following up by a kick to the knees, causing the villain to collapse with a groan.

"Not so fast."

Cold steel pressed against her neck. Her breath hitched as the blade made a shallow cut into her skin, blood trickling down her neck. The remaining villain had her left arm twisted behind her back painfully, her scissors fell to the ground with a metallic clang.

At once the blonde stopped moving, deep crimson meeting amber. She saw hesitation in his eyes, a certain uncertainty she was unused to seeing there. His gaze flickered to somewhere behind her for a split second.

A loud crash behind her caused the villain's grip to slack slightly as he was distracted. She sucked in a breath, eyes focusing on Bakugou's for a second. He nodded at her in a way that was almost encouraging. This was it, the moment to act.

She used her free right arm to pull the villain's knife hand from her throat, her foot kicked into his ankle as hard as she could. His grip on her left arm slackened even more as he cursed at the throbbing pain shooting through his ankle. She wrenched her arm from his grip, digging into her pocket for her pair of bandage scissors and stabbing them into his left thigh as hard as she could.

At the same time, Bakugou jumped into action, lurching forward to grab her shoulder and yanking her out of the way as he used his other arm to send an explosion into the man's face, sending him crumpling to the ground unconscious.

"You guys okay over there?"

Kirishima clampered out of the rubble of an adjacent building, shaking his hair as tiny pieces of rubble and dust fell out of it.

"Tch took you long enough, shitty hair." The blonde scoffed. "We already took care of these fucking weaklings."

We

Amari sank to the floor in relief, glad to see another one of her classmates safe. Her hand reached out to touch her neck, wincing at the stinging of the cut. She drew her hand back and sucked in a breath at the blood coating her fingers.

"Whoa Amari, what happened to your throat?" Kirishima knelt down beside her, eyes swimming with concern as he checked her for additional injuries, satisfied when not finding more than small scrapes and bruises.

"It's uh nothing, it's fine."

Her hands grabbed into one of her pouches, grabbing a roll of bandage. Shaky fingers unwound the roll, wrapping it around her own neck in order to stop the bleeding. She cursed slowly as she realized the bandage scissors were currently stuck in someone's body.

She got to her feet and wobbled over to the villain, nearly puking at the squelching noise made by pulling the scissors out. She wiped the blood of on his shirt as much as possible before cutting a piece of the bandage off and securing it around her neck tightly.

"Uhm Bakugou." He looked at her blankly, as she stood in front of him fidgeting with the hem of her suit. "Thank you."

She squeezed her eyes shut as she bowed. Without him she would have been dead. She had no way to defend herself. She was absolutely helpless. The word was bitter as it swirled around her mind.

Her eyes widened as she felt a hand knock on her head slightly. She looked up to see Bakugou staring to the side.

"Those bastards have nothing on me, tch. Besides, you did... not... terrible."

Amari didn't have time to question his uncharacteristic attitude as Kirishima slung an arm around their shoulders.

"Ah man, isn't it nice to run into each other."

"Get your dirty hands the fuck off of me!"

While the boys bickered in the background, Amari noticed another group of villains coming towards them, probably attracted by the noise they were making.

"Uh guys?"

"What do you want, first aid kit?!"

She flinched away at the loudness of his voice and the feral look in his eyes.

She merely pointed to the incoming villains on their right.

"You sit back and stay out of my way." A dark grin tugged on his lips. "I'll take care of the small fry."

"Bakugou's right, you should stay behind us." Kirishima took a step forward so she was behind him. "Your quirk is healing right? We'll fight in the front so you can stay safe in case we need to be patched up."

She nodded at him and took some more steps back, she had already had more than enough excitement for the day.

"Come on dude just let her heal you."

"I'm fine shut the fuck up."

Amari sighed in exasperation at the two bickering boys in front of her. They had already fought several groups of villains and one of them had managed to get a rather deep cut on Bakugou's left leg. He said it didn't bother him but he was wincing with every step he took and the past five minutes had been spent arguing whether she should or shouldn't heal him and quite frankly she was getting tired of it.

As the blonde was distracted, attempting to punch a hardened Kirishima in the face, she slowly crept towards them.

"Oh no, look!" She exclaimed, pointing towards a random direction.

As both boys whipped their head in the direction she was pointing, she snatched Bakugou's hand pressing a quick kiss on it.

"Hey!" He tried wiggling his hand out of her grip but she was holding on tightly. "What the fuck! Let me go or I'll blow you to... bits."

He quieted at the weird tingly sensation in his left leg, staring in fascination as the cut closed.

"Now, was that so difficult?" Amari huffed as she dropped his hand and took a step away from him.

"Shut up."

Bakugou slowly put weight on his previously injured leg, pleased to find the absence of the shooting pain he had been enduring for the past 10 minutes.

"We should try and regroup with our class, see if we can get out." Kirishima oppered.

"I'm not running away like a coward." Bakugou snarled. "I'm going to beat the boss villain up."

Without sparing them another glance, he started running in the direction of the fountain.

Kirishima and Amari exchanged a look, nodding at each other, before running after their classmate.

"Wait up, man!"

In response, the blonde raised a middle finger behind him, but to his credit he did slow down ever so slightly.
