Another three days of modifications allowed Rachel and the other engineers to create extensive physical and OS limiters on both OF's that reduced the over flow damage allowing Jehuty and Anubis a longer operational time for the weapons and reactors. The two new reactors were normally shut down as well with a new mode called bust mode added to the OS and control systems. When activated burst mode would activate one of the extra reactors doubling energy output for a short amount of time for safety reasons. The new mode was so super giant robot and awesome. The weapons tests leveled whole hills when Me and Grim used our O.F.'s burst attacks.
As for the new recruits both Yumi and Elisabeth were doing surprisingly well in the O.F. piloting course. Viola was harsh on them putting the noobs up against fairly advanced A.I. opponents in the simulators. And when they were finally allowed to pilot real Alter-Neiths Viola her self was their opponent and she showed no mercy. Both the girls pride and their OF's were rarely in good condition. But their skills and survival ratio jumped from nearly zero up to almost 74% in just twelve days. I often gave the girls sweets and head pats that for some reason they really liked (I used biomancy to up their endorphins) when ever I heard they improved their numbers. As their leader it's important to show them positive reinforcement in contrast to Violas harsh training. This carrot and stick approach had a positive effect on their training.
Over the course of the 17 days both Aelita and her mother Anthea familiarized themselves with the technology and more advanced science of the era taking lessons and tests from N.U.T. engineers and scientist. They both floundered for a while but started improving as they began understanding the basics of the sciences and physics of the era. Aelita focused on computer programing and A.I. development while Anthea leaned more in physical engineering and the science of Metatron. The Macguffin material fascinated her to no end as its properties and ability to manipulate energy, space and gravity was like a hook that once it sunk its way in her just wont let go. She even stayed up all night for several days straight just reading books and papers of all kinds on Metatron. Me and Aelita had some stern words for her when I found out and I even made her take sleeping pills so she could get a proper nights sleep.
The days rolled by as everyone prepared for the battle that was going to take place. And eventually time ran out.

Zakat and the small fleet of BAHRAM ships decelerated at last. Earth and its moon Luna hung out the display screen of the ships bridge as Radium Lavans grinned.
"Begin the attack!"
The ships breaking thrusters fired as they opened fire on the the mass catchers meant to slow them down. The mass catchers exploded into slag while Zakat moved in front of the fleet erecting its powerful shields. Using Zakat as a giant shield the fleet smashed through the debris and begins their gravitational sling shot around earth employing vector-traps to slow down on approach to the Earth elevator. Now in a stable orbit on approach to the orbital elevator the fleet quickly approached their objective.
Normally a orbital elevator would not cause a cataclysmic event on a planet wide scale. The dropping debri's would burn up in the atmosphere or crush any cities around the base for hundreds if not thousands of miles but nothing more. But if the Anchor station, a giant mass several miles wide that holds the elevator up via rotational inertia crashes into the planet. It would kick up a massive cloud of debris into the atmosphere that would cover some if not most of the planet for years and kill off most plant life that can't receive the suns light. Even if it only effects part of the planet it would still be a mass extinction event that would destroy ecosystems the world over and at worst would leave the earth uninhabitable.
Inside Anchor Stations security control room alarms blared as two security staff watched a fleet of ships and one massive O.F. approace.
"Those guy's don't look friendly."
"The hell! We better call the UNSF immediately. Their on a collision course."

After this chapter im switching things up with the order of writing chapters for both stories. I'll focus on my first, main story until the current story Arch is completed. Its gone on for longer then I intended but is thankfully near the end. Once I start the Halo Arch I'll start doing four chapters for my first main story for every 1 or 2 chapters of this story or something like that. Just want to speed things up so I can complete Ellens story sooner rather the later.
