Chapter 6
"MUMMY LOOK SAMS CRAWLING !" Dom screamed from living room where he was playing with his sister when she suddenly got up on all fours and started to move about .. he was over the moon !
Ange came rushing in not really hearing what Dom had said but he shouted so she thought something bad had happened. She soon relaxed when she saw Dom smiling from ear to ear. "Ayyy look who's a big girl now ay ?" She said smiling walking in the room crouching down. "Can you come to mummy ?" she asked, holding her arms out for her for a big hug !
Sam was on all fours next to Dom. She looked at Dom confused as to what Ange said and wanted. Dom was like a sam baby whisperer; he knew exactly what was wrong and could read her tiny mind. He got on all fours and showed her what Ange wanted; he crawled over to Ange. Sam smiled watching him and soon followed him over.
"Such a clever girl, Sam," Ange cheered and she picked her up and cuddled her super happy for her little girl. "We are gonna have to be on our toes now chasing little miss mantha" she chuckled knowing Dom would chase her around all day.
Ange put Sam back down on the floor so she could do what she wanted "Dom, do you want to help me make dinner ?" She asked with a smile
"Yes please !" He smiled and got up from the floor "and Sam…sam can help too" he said
Sam was getting sleepy, she was now laid on her back on the floor looking up at her mum and brother ."I think sams getting tired so i think it might be someones nap time," she smiled down at sam.
Dom loved helping Ange get sam ready for nap time he raced to sam nursery upstairs and got sams sleeping suit, a new nappy, wipes and sam's bun bun that dom claimed she couldn't sleep without. He raced back downstairs and dumped all the stuff on the floor he loved the praise he got from his mum for helping
"Thank you Dom such a good helper" she smiled.
Dom smiled, he loved being such a good big brother and he knew he was. Ange got sam changed and ready for her nap, picked her up she was already falling asleep fighting her eyes to stay awake she didn't want to miss a thing
Ange took her up to her bed and put her down in her cot where Dom had followed and he stayed by sams side until she fell asleep like he always did telling her what they were going to do when she woke up
Once Sam had finally drifted off, Ange went downstairs with Dom "mummy can we make a cake for daddy when he comes home from work ?" He asked with a smile
"Yeah i think daddy would love that" she grinned and went into the kitchen with him and they started to make dinner
"Mummy…?" the boy said while standing on a plastic stool so hSame could help with dinner
"Yeah sweetheart.?" Ange said while chopping up veg
"Me and want a puppy !" He said grinning …
