The one where sh*t happens and an Amok Time reference is snuck in.
My dream casting for Keisha is Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Lydia would be played by Ko Shibasaki. Also, Scotty is basically Kurogiri in this story.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
"Extra! Extra!" cried one Keisha O'Neil as she zoomed through the halls of Starfleet Academy with her super-speed quirk and handing out flyers. "On 2100 PM, Cadet VS Instructor, at the training grounds, don't miss!"
"Really, Kei?" asked her friend, Carol Marcus as Keisha stopped right in front of her.
"But Carol, it's gonna be fun! Just think about it! If Kirk wins, then it's gonna be a victory for us cadets!" Keisha cried, and began singing.
KEISHA:
Woah,
Never again will he get the best of me,
Never again will he take away my freedom,
And we won't forget the day we fought...
KEISHA & CADETS:
For the right to be a little bit naughty!
Another friend of Carol's, Lydia Kuze, joined in. Her quirk was called Slice, and it allowed her to move, harden, and sharpen her own hair. With it, she was able to use her hair as blades, as well as fire off individual strands of it like needles.
LYDIA:
Never again will the Chokey door slam!
KEISHA:
Never again will I be bullied and,
CADETS:
Never again will I doubt it when,
My mummy says I'm a miracle,
Never again!
Never again will we live behind bars!
Never again now that we know we are!
Revolting cadets living in revolting times,
We sing revolting songs using revolting rhymes,
We'll be revolting cadets 'til our revolting's done,
And we'll have the Vulcan bolting,
We're revolting!
We are revolting cadets living in revolting times,
We sing revolting songs using revolting rhymes,
We'll be revolting cadets 'til our revolting's done,
And we'll have the Vulcan bolting,
We're revolting!
"We will become a screaming horde!" yelled Keisha.
"Let your hair loose and use it as a sword!" Lydia announced as she activated her quirk.
KEISHA:
Never again will we be ignored,
LYDIA:
We'll find out where the chalk is stored,
KEISHA:
And draw rude pictures on the board,
LYDIA:
it's not insulting,
CADETS:
We're revolting!
"Everyone, calm down!" Carol yelled.
Just then, a gentle hand placed itself on her shoulder. "Let me handle this."
CADETS:
We can S-P-L how we like,
If enough of us are wrong, wrong is right,
Every word N-O-R-T-Y,
'Cause we're a little bit naughty!
You say we oughtta stay inside the line,
If we disobey at the same time,
There is nothing that the Vulcan can do,
He can take his logic and S-H-U...
Suddenly, a voice cried out. "ENOUGH!"
Everyone turned their heads to see Nyota Uhura.
"Alright, alright, fellas, just...stop, OK?" asked Uhura. "Whatever rumors you've heard about Instructor Spock, they're just...rumors. Don't get too invested in this big fight thing, right?"
"Aww, maaaan!" moaned the cadets.
"Wait a minute..." the feisty Keisha spoke up. "Aren't you that one girl who the Vulcan always favors?"
Before Uhura could answer, a new voice came in. "But the lassie's right, young'uns." The voice belonged to a man covered in dark fog. His name was Montgomery Scott, the Enterprise's Chief Engineer, the best inventor Starfleet could offer and the man who developed transwarp beaming for everyone. His quirk, Warp Gate, allowed him to create portals with the fog from his body. However, his foggy appearance made some people scared of him, despite the fact that he was an all-round nice person.
"Lieutenant Commander Scott, fancy seeing you here." Carol greeted.
"Hello." Uhura simply said.
"Well, hallo, yourself!" said Scotty. "Anyways, lassie, you did a great job stoppin' all dat singin', it was drivin' me nuts."
"Thank you, sir." said Uhura.
Scotty then turned to address the cadets. "As someone who's worked wi' Mr. Spock more than once, I can tell he be not as cruel as yer cadets make 'im out to be."
The cadets, scared sh*tless, could do nothing but nod but the four girls remained unfazed.
"So, big fight, 2100?" asked Keisha as she handed a flyer to Scotty. Carol sighed.
"Alright, kiddo, we're here." said Captain Lynne Lucero as the Calliope landed in a clearing not too far from Starfleet Headquarters. "All we have to do is, get you to your dad and it's all over. Simple, right?"
"Yeah, but you guys have to be careful." said Joanna McCoy. "I mean, even if you bear no ill will, you're all pirates, for crying out loud!"
Lynne sighed, and nodded. In all honesty, she was sick and tired of the stereotypes surrounding pirates but she decided to go for it anyway. "Mateys, we help this kid find her dad and go back to space, AM I CLEAR?"
"Aye, aye, captain!" said the Calliope crew, and they all disembarked with Joanna in tow before beginning the trek to Starfleet Academy, through back alleys, avoiding street lamps when they came across a woman who was unmistakably human but had Klingon forehead ridges.
"Let that poor child go!" she growled before pointing a shadow mek'leth at Lynne. "What are you planning to do with her?"
"Whoa, easy, whatever you are!" said Lynne. "I already have one enemy on my hands, I don't wanna make another. We were just delivering the kid to her dad..."
"She's right." Joanna spoke up. "Those people might be devils and black sheep and really bad eggs but they had the decency to help me out."
The woman sighed. "Okay, fine. Instead, I'm keeping a close eye on you all." And everyone once again set out for Starfleet Academy, during which Joanna wouldn't leave the woman alone.
"So, what was your name again?" asked Joanna.
"Klingon Lady." said the woman. "You may call me Lady."
The strange group of people traveling through the streets caught the eye of a certain Native American Pro Hero, who had just dealt with a villain and was handing out signatures to his legions of fans when he saw the group. They sure looked like villains to him. "People, will you excuse me?" asked Sherman. "It seems like another disaster is at hand, so I have to go." He then dashed off, ignoring the fans' disappointment.
Back at Starfleet Academy, McCoy and Bethany had their own ways of handling the situation. Bethany had decided to confront Spock about what had been delivered to Kirk, while McCoy had decided to consult Sulu about Kirk. "I mean, can you believe it?" he told his Japanese friend. "Only he would be mad enough to challenge an instructor to a duel!"
"This sure sounds like a problem." Sulu told him.
"And what is worse, clueless cadets are already handing out flyers." said McCoy as he showed one of the very same flyers Keisha had been handing out.
Meanwhile, Bethany had just found Spock conversing with another officer, and said "Excuse me?" before holding out the note that had come with the Civil War Collision Course novelization.
Spock told the officer he was talking to if she could give him a moment alone with Bethany, and she hurried out of the place. He then inspected the note Bethany held out to him, and skimmed over the poorly-written text with his eyes.
You've got a hold of me,
Don't even know your power,
I stand a hundred feet,
But I fall when I'm around you.
I'm not asking for a lot,
Just that you're honest with me,
My pride is all I got,
Please have mercy on me,
And take it easy on my heart,
Even though you don't mean to hurt me,
You keep tearing me apart,
Would you please have mercy on my heart?

"So, any words, Instructor Spock?" Bethany said.
"I...I do not understand, Cadet Bright. Will you please elaborate?" asked the half-Vulcan.
"I saw your sister at the book store. Sending her to do your dirty work...what are you, a coward?" the blonde snapped. "Oh, and by the way, Jim sent you a note, if you received it..."
"I did." Spock replied. "My daughter Saavik brought me the note. And the truth is...you're right, I did write that note. I have feelings for Cadet Kirk as well, and Michael suggested I should try courting him first in case I lost the duel."
It was 9 PM, and everyone had been called to the "big fight" at the Starfleet-issued training grounds. McCoy and Bethany were there of course, Sulu had heard everything from McCoy and had decided to check it out with a 17-year-old Russian named Pavel Chekov in tow. Saavik and Michael were worried about Spock, the reason why they were present. Uhura, Carol, Keisha and Lydia, having been roped into the whole deal(Keisha mostly for marketing it as a "big fight"), were obliged to attend as well, and last but not least, Scotty and Keenser had attended out of pure curiosity.
"Hello again, Cadet Kirk. If you win, then at least, you'll get away with cheating, But if you lose..." Spock's stoic expression remained in place but the suggestive glint in his eyes gave everything away.
Kirk smiled, and turned on his flames. "Enough with the chit-chat, let's fight."
Spock was the one to strike first. He fired an electric blast, which Kirk was able to dodge but it left the front of his shirt burned and his pecs out in the open. The human didn't hesitate to retaliate, and struck the ground with his fist, sending a wave of fire Spock's way. But said Vulcan quickly levitated himself into the air before he could get harmed; electricity arched under his feet and acted as a solid place to stand. It was madness, sparks flying everywhere and Scotty quickly warped the spectators to a safe distance before running away himself.
Then Spock fired another blast, which Kirk evaded by ducking and then the two constantly fired blasts at each other, hitting and missing each other like fireworks until Spock was hit by a fireball from Kirk, and was knocked down. "It's over, you lost." said Kirk as he stared down at Spock, but then was proved wrong when the instructor got back up, and hit the cadet down. Even then, Kirk refused to give up. He fired another stream of flames, only for Spock to block it with an electric shield, he then electrocuted Kirk for a few seconds before letting him go. The spectators hurried over to them, to see how it ended.
"Looks like I have won." he declared, when a wave of water hit the both of them. Spock was rendered dazed for a few moments then he became himself again and looked at Kirk before saying "Pardon me, I short-circuit when I hit water."
"Hold on, your weakness is water?!" Kirk cried, the humiliation he felt forgotten. "Mine too!"
Then Kirk laughed—his laughter sounded like bells ringing. Spock allowed himself a small smile and the spectators laughed as well but it all came to a sudden end when it was revealed who shot the water.
"Oh, James, it was you?" said Sherman, looking apologetic. "I am truly sorry, I had been chasing a group of villains to—wait, is that your Vulcan?" he asked when he saw Spock.
"Well, not necessarily mine, but he's the one I told you about, yes." Kirk confirmed. Uhura heard it all and frowned a bit.
Then a 8-year-old girl jumped out of nowhere and flung herself into McCoy's arms. "Daddy!" she squealed.
"Jo?" said Bones, surprised a bit. "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here."
"But I wanted to see you!" Joanna pouted.
That was when the so-called "villains" showed up. "Oh, no." muttered Michael.
"Ahoy, mateys!" came the cheerful voice of Lynne Lucero.
