(BEASTBOY'S PERSPECTIVE)

"I feel like the underside of a Zornian Muck Beetle." Starfire plopped herself down next to me on the couch.

"Tell me about it." I flipped through the pages of my moped magazine.

"I try to be my best but no matter what I do... I end up feeling my worst."

"What's going on, Star?" I queried.

"It's Robin. I feel as if sometimes he stresses himself beyond capacity."

"About what, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Perhaps, himself, I am not sure. You know how Robin likes to keep things to himself. " Starfire bowed her head.

"I'm well aware." I scanned my eyes over a glossed page.

"And... I feel inadequate because of Robin."

"Hm?"

"Because I try to discuss his troubles with him but he pushes me away. I try Beastboy, to be there for him. I strongly dislike seeing Robin under the weather and have no idea how to help."

I thought of Raven.

She was in a tough spot right now and I felt like my efforts to help her weren't helping.

"I get it. Star, don't be to hard on yourself. You're trying your best. You're being there for Robin as much as possible, that's all he needs. Just keep doing what your doing and this random phase will probably fade away sometime soon."

"Perhaps. How are you, Beastboy?"

"I'm fine I guess."

I absentmindedly turned the next page.

'Nothing seems to work'.

"'I guess'?"

"Mhm."

"Why 'I guess'?" Starfire pried.

"Don't worry about it, Star." I sighed..

"Oh... okay."

A moment of quiet sat between us.

"Raven! I am delighted to see you!" Starfire leaped from the couch.

"Hey, Rae." I felt a smile crawl on my face as I got up.

"Hi." Raven nearly whispered.

"I have not seen you around lately. How have you been?" Starfire beamed.

"Obviously if you have not seen me around a lot, I am not doing too well." Raven barked.

Both Starfire and I watched silently as Raven made herself a cup of herbal tea.

"I guess today isn't your cup of tea, aha." I giggled sheepishly.

The empath shot me a deadly glare.

"What? You can't take a harmless joke?" I shrugged innocently.

"Does it look like I want to take one right now?" Raven's furrowed her eyebrows.

"Not like you ever do. I was jus' tryna lighten the mood, relax." I huffed, annoyed.

"Beastboy, do not tell me what to do."

"I'm not! I'm advising you to take it easy."

"You're telling me to relax, which is telling me to do something. Sometimes I wish you could snap out of your happy-go-lucky mentality and leave me alone."

"Leave you alone? Raven come on, don't do this. You're the one that walked in here."

"What? I'm expected to stay locked up in my room?" her eyes were brimmed with rage.

"That's what you usually do, isn't it?" I spat.

"Drop it."

"You walked in here and all we did was express a friendly concern... and that bothers you?"

"Drop it, Beastboy." Raven deadpanned.

"Or what? You'll turn breakfast into a battlefield? Your attitude isn't appreciated, Raven, I want you to know that." I rolled my eyes.

"Drop. It."

"So now you can tell me what to do?"

"Shut up!" Raven yelled at me.

"Easy, Titans, what's going on?" Robin entered the Common Room.

"Yeah! I can barely hear myself think. I nearly messed up the muffler of the T-Car due to all this ruckus." Cyborg came in from the garage.

"You've got Little-Miss-Attitude picking a fight with Star and I." I folded my arms across my chest.

"I didn't do anything!" Raven denied.

"And that's why you haven't been to any battles recently." I gasped as the words slipped out of my mouth.

Raven tossed the cup in the sink and approached me.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't been doing superhero because I can barely get out of bed, enjoy the sunshine, let alone drink a simple cup of tea! Oh! And breaking news, Beastboy..."

I silently read her damp, puffy eyes.

"I lost my powers so I ca-n't even do s-superhero if I wanted to!" Raven's choked, shaky outburst made my ears tingle.

The Titans fell silent as Raven stormed to her room
