Back at the courthouse, END launched an attack and freed the Oracion Seis and Sabertooth. Zeref attempted to follow END to learn more about what he's up to, but that didn't go so well. He ended up getting captured by END and was taken prisoner.

"Stay here until I can figure out what to do with you." END said as he locked Zeref in a closet. Zeref tried to get the door open, but he couldn't.

"Locked, and he took my phone. Can't call Natsu." Zeref said. Zeref looked around to see if there's something he can use to help bust the door down. It may have just been a supply closet, but there were things in there that Zeref could see that could help him. It pays to be a genius most of the time.

...

END

END went to his office. When he got there, his scientist Daphne, the one who gave him use of those lizardmen, was there waiting for him.

"How did it go?" Daphne asked.

"Salamander tried to get in the way, but I did managed to get those two gangs of imbeciles out of there." END said.

"Yes, yes, yes. I told you my lizards would help." Daphne said. "By the way, wouldn't it be easier to just bust them out of jail or on their way?"

"Perhaps, but I like the message that attacking the courthouse sends." END said. "I did what I needed to do back there. How are my latest projects coming?"

"Good, excellent, and great. We're just going to need the Oracion Seis to help like you said." Daphne said.

"Good. Now, we need to get ready for something else. We're about to have someone pay us a visit." END claimed. END was fully aware of who might be coming.

...

Natsu

After the fight at the courthouse, Natsu hurried after END. He was fearful of what END might do if he finds Zeref. Natsu moved from one building to the next until he landed on the one across from END's building.

"If he hurt Zeref, I swear I'm going to burn him down." Natsu said. He jumped as hard as he could and smashed his way through a window. He forgot being settle and sneaky and just went direct. "Okay, where's the jerk with all the knives up his sleeve?!"

"He's not here." Natsu looked ahead and was surprised to see someone that looked like Juvia. "Can I take a message?"

"Juvia?" Natsu said.

"Don't think I'm her!" She blasted Natsu with water and knocked him down. A closer look showed that she looked a little different than Juvia, like how her hair was an aquamarine-color. Natsu remembers who she is.

"Lady Aqua? The crazy evil clone of Juvia? I thought you were gone." Natsu said.

"You really don't get it, do you?" Lady Aqua questioned. "END can keep making more and more clones of me. It doesn't matter how many times you think you beat me. I'll just keep coming back." She turned her arms into water and tried blasting him, but Natsu kept moving out of the way.

"Beat it, you mutant puddle. I've got bigger things to worry about than you." Natsu said.

"Right now, you should be more worried about trying to stay dry." Lady Aqua said. She was able to score a hit against Natsu and smashed him into another room. When she walked in, she closed the door and sealed the room off. "Nowhere to run now."

"Who's running?" Natsu said. He jumped right at her and tried to strike her, but he just passed right through. "Argh! I forgot. She can turn her entire body into water." Lady Aqua stretched out her arm and grabbed Natsu by the leg to smash him against the room.

"The same tricks aren't going to work on me a second time!" Lady Aqua claimed as she tossed him across the room. She kept the attacks going as she turned herself into a stream of water and smashed herself against him and tried to press him against the wall. Natsu did his best to resist the water as he tried to move out. He managed to jump to the ceiling and stuck there.

"Think, Salamander. Think." Natsu said. "How do you beat a girl that's made out of water?"

"That's easy." Lady Aqua said as she reformed. "You can't!" She launched more water above her, but Natsu ran on the ceiling to avoid her attacks.

"I don't have time for this. I need to get to Zeref before END does anything to him." Natsu said.

"You won't be getting anywhere." Lady Aqua said as she unleashed a barrage of water blades. Natsu dived down from the ceiling and avoided them. He couldn't believe he saw water shred through the ceiling.

"Are you kidding me? You can do that?" Natsu questioned.

"Of course. Water can slice through steel when given enough pressure. I've learned some new tricks during my constant rebirth." Lady Aqua said. She kept the attacks going as she unleashed a cyclone-like water attack. Natsu got hit by it and was smashed against the wall. This wasn't looking good for him. "Give it up. Fire could never beat water."

"We'll see about that." Natsu said as he managed to get back up. He had to get through her to save his brother.

Zeref

Zeref may have been locked in a closet, but Zeref was a genius. He already has a way out. He put a little contraption together as he tied a cable to a large box and suspended it in the air. He also added a few things to the box to make it heavier.

"Simple Newton's law. Force is equal to mass times acceleration." Zeref said. "Let's just hope I can have enough mass and acceleration." Zeref pulled the box back as far as he could. Once he released it, it smashed right against the door and it was enough to bust the door out of the lock. "Yes!" Zeref was able to get out of the closet and was free. "Is there anything science can't do?" Once he was free, Zeref moved as fast as he could to get out before END catches him again.

Natsu

Natsu kept trying to fight Aqua, but it was difficult since she was practically made out of water. He went at her again, but all of his attacks kept going through her. He kept attacking, but he wasn't getting anywhere.

"Haven't you figure it out? You can't beat me." Lady Aqua said.

"Well, you've got to run out of water eventually." Natsu said.

"Don't need to worry about that." Lady Aqua said as she pointed above her. Natsu looked up and spotted a set of sprinklers up there. "I've got plenty to spare." She focused on her powers and caused the pipes above them to burst. Water started to flow down and the room was quickly flooding.

"Oh man. I hope this new suit isn't dry clean only." Natsu said as the water was rising higher and higher. When the water was high enough, Lady Aqua used her powers to try and keep him under the water. If he doesn't think of something, he'll end up drowning. However, just outside the room, Zeref was running through the halls until he noticed water flowing out.

"What's all this?" Zeref questioned. Zeref walked over to the door where all the water was coming from. When he managed to get it open, all the water came flowing out. Zeref tried to hold on and resist the water. He did notice Salamander flowing out with the water as it all came out of the room.

"Zeref?" Natsu coughed out as he tried to catch some air.

"Are you okay?" Zeref asked as he helped him up.

"Neither of you will be when I'm through with you." Lady Aqua said as she formed again.

"I've just about had it with her." Natsu said as he looked around for something that can help. When he looked up to the lights, he saw what can. "Zeref, you better not be touching the water." Natsu jumped up to the ceiling and smashed his hands through the ceilings. He was able to pry a light out of the ceiling.

"Salamander!" Zeref called as he jumped. Natsu was able to grab him and keep him away from the water. When the light hit, electricity coursed through the water with Lady Aqua getting electrocuted. With her being made out of the water than most humans, it was a lot worse for her. She couldn't take it and ended up getting passed out. "Are you crazy?"

"I prefer energetic." Natsu said.

"What do you think would have happened if there were more people, or if I hadn't reach you in time." Zeref said.

"Relax. I got this." Natsu said as they both dropped to the floor when it was safe.

"Let's get out of here. I think there are some things that need to be discussed." Zeref said.

"After I take on END." Natsu said. He wasn't waiting to bring down one of his bigger enemies. Natsu ran on ahead, but Zeref didn't like what was going on with his brother.

...

END's Office

"Knock, Knock!" Natsu called as he busted the door down and was met with END and Daphne.

"I don't believe I said that you could come in." END said. "I see that Lady Aqua wasn't much for you."

"You're going to need more than a puddle to beat me." Natsu said as he smacked his fist into his hand. "I'm bringing you down for good, psycho."

"I think I'll just step out and let you boys talk." Daphne said as she ran scared out of there.

"You should really be more careful with who you talk to and how you talk to them, Salamander." END said as he stood up. "Especially since you happen to be in my house. I could easily call security on you, but something tells me I should handle this myself."

"Good instinct." Natsu said as he jumped at him. END met him in the air and knocked Natsu back to the floor. END had a blade slide out of his sleeve. He tried to stab Natsu with it, but he rolled out of the way. He grabbed END by the arm and tossed him into his desk with it breaking to pieces. END noticed that it seemed rather unusual.

"You seem stronger than you were before." END said.

"I've had a few improvements." Natsu said. He leaped at END and tried attacking him again, but END moved out of the way. END kicked Natsu's legs and caused him to fall to the ground. That was right about when Zeref came in. He saw END was about to strike at Natsu again when he was down, but Natsu surprised them. He kicked END with both his legs and sent him flying through the window. Even Natsu was shocked at what he just did.

"What did you do?!" Zeref said as he hurried over to him.

"I...don't know." Natsu said as he couldn't believe he did that himself. "I didn't mean to kick him that hard. Something just came over me." They both hurried over to the crashed window and looked through it.

"Wait. There's no sign of him." Zeref said. They didn't see people drawing around a body or anything that would indicate others that someone just fell out of a building. It all just seemed normal.

"Could he have survived?" Natsu questioned.

"How? We're nearly a thousand feet in the air." Zeref said.

"He is a slippery one." Natsu said. It is likely that END could still be alive. They both understand how and sneaky he can be. Zeref was also concerned for Natsu. As he turned towards his brother, he could see that Natsu has been acting different.

"What's happening to you?" Zeref said.

"I'm not sure." Natsu said. He really didn't. He didn't realize how he was acting until he just did what he did. Something is happening to Natsu and be better fix it before he ends up doing something he's going to end up regretting.
