Phone Calls
After a long exhausting day at work, he returned home with tiring steps at late evening.
Opening the door, he somehow dragged his body to his bedroom. And Thudd !! He literally jumped on his bed without even changing his dress.
After a couple of minutes later his mobile phone beeped and he tiredly picked up the mobile and saw it was a whatsapp message from Tarika. He opened the message and read Tarika had written..
"Agar free ho to call karna "
He was completely drained out but still he dialled her number.
She immediately picked up the call.
"Hey!! Have you reached home?" She asked cheerfully.
"Yeah ... just arrived a while ago" he replied.
"You sound tired...are you sleepy ?" She questioned worriedly.
"No..not at all " he stammered trying not to sound too tired.
On the other side she shook her head in disappointment.
Few minutes letter, he slept on the phone while she stood up the whole night listening to his snores.
Because with some people, even
silence is comfortable.
