Chapter 5: Be Our Guests
Later that night, the door to Serena's room opens up and Serena and her friends peeked out.
Serena: OK, the coast is clear.
Dizzy: Good. Dizzy hungry.
Furrball: Let's go get some food.
Plucky: I thought that Saiyan wouldn't let us eat.
Buster: Plucky, he only wanted to eat with Serena.
Calamity nods. The group walks down a hallway past a curtain. None of them noticed some activity in there.
? 1: Oh no.
? 2: Oh yes.
? 1: Oh no.
? 2: Oh yes.
Suddenly, Chikorita ran out of the curtain laughing, being chased by Cyndaquil. Both laughed, as Cyndaquil caught her.
Chikorita: Come on. I was burned by you before.
Cyndaquil: Ahh, that was an accident. We should have never played near the fireplace.
He looks up and gasped, as he saw Serena and her friends going around the corner. He accidentally drops Chikorita.
Cyndaquil: Darn! They are out of the room!
He then looks down at Chikorita.
Cyndaquil: Sorry about that, Chikorita.
A while later, three cloaked figures, the same ones who were the only beings listening to Mario, came up to the gate of the castle. The figures removed their hoods to reveal that they are three black cat-like creatures. Two were males and one was female. They were Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, the Warner Siblings. They are friends with the Tiny Toons.
Yakko: This must be the place we heard about.
Dot: Let's go inside.
They then went through the gate and walked all the way up to the main door. After looking around, the Warner Siblings knocked on the door. Unknown to them, two Pokemon were watching from a window. They are Chespin and Fennekin.
Chespin: They look like friends of our guests.
Fennekin: Well, let's open the door for them.
With a nod, Chespin pulls a lever and the castle's door opens. At that moment, the Warner Siblings came slowly in and wanders around. In the castle, the Mane Six are bringing the Cutie Mark Crusaders in the nursery bedroom for bedtime.
Rarity: Time for bed, Sweetie Belle. In the nursery with your fellow fillies.
Sweetie: But we're not sleepy, sis.
She then yawns, as she walks in the nursery.
Applejack: Yes, you are.
Applebloom: No, we're not.
Eventually, the CMC and Spike went to sleep. Twilight closed the door, as she smiles. The Mane Six walks back to the kitchen. The Pokemon, Digimon, Ham-Hams, and Keronians are cleaning up the kitchen.
?: Fudge! I worked all day for this dinner and what happened? Nothing!
The Mane Six turns to see a giant red robot. He is G1 Optimus Prime.
G1 Optimus: I made the most perfect meal in the history of this castle and now, it will go to waste!
Panda: Oh, calm yourself, Optimus.
He puts a teapot he was finished cleaning onto a counter.
Panda: This has been long for all of us. We all know it.
Boss: If you ask me, the girl was being stubborn.
He throws a napkin into a cupboard.
Giroro: He did say please after all! And the fact that her friends helped is not better!
Patamon: Let's face it. The girl won't do much if Master Goku keeps getting all upset.
He goes put a few dry dishes away.
Gatomon: Plus, if he keeps getting all upset, he'll never break the-
Boss quickly cuts Gatomon off and for a good reason. Serena and her friends have entered the room.
Boss: Why, hello? How great to see you all up and about! Tired of the room, eh?
He and Giroro walks up to the group and shakes each of their hands.
Giroro: My name is Giroro and his is Boss. We are heads of the household.
The rest of the servants went up to the group and introduced themselves. Suddenly...
?: Hello?
The group turns around and to their surprise, the Warner Siblings came in.
Buster: Yakko? Wakko?
Babs: And Dot?
Yakko & Wakko: Buster!
Dot: Babs!
The Warner Siblings ran up to Buster and Babs and hugs them.
Yakko: We're so glad to see you guys. When you and the rest of the Tiny Toons disappeared, we got worried.
Boss: What are you three doing here? Who let them in here?
?: We did!
Chespin and Fennekin came into the kitchen with Charmander, Agumon, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita following along. Charmander and Agumon began shaking hands with the group.
Giroro: Those two lizard boys are Charmander and Agumon.
Charmander: Great to meet you, including the three new toons.
Buster: Yakko, how did you, Wakko, and Dot get here? In fact, how did you three even know we're here?
Wakko: Well, we were in the tavern with Turles making a pride outta himself as usual. Mario came in, exclaiming about some sorta "Super Saiyan Beast."
Dot: Of course, nobody but us believed him and they threw him out. We decided to go find you guys to make sure you all are alright.
Plucky: Is Mario OK?
Yakko: I think so. When we left, Turles got one of his "ideas" looks. I think he's planning something sinister.
Furrball: He better not, or I'll kick his butt to the curb, no matter how popular he is!
Serena is concerned. Whenever Turles has an idea, it usually involves trying to get her to marry him. And she fears her father may become involved in it and she wouldn't be around to save him.
Boss: Ahem!
He kicks Charmander aside to get Serena and the others' attentions.
Boss: If there's anything we can do, just say so.
He then screams in pain. Charmander smirks evilly, as he got behind him, as he claws him in the butt, forcing the Ham-Ham to later rub it.
Serena: Well, to tell you the truth, we're getting kinda hungry.
Wakko: Come to think of it. Me, Yakko, and Dot didn't have dinner yet, so we're hungry, too.
Dizzy: Dizzy so hungry, he could eat anything.
He looks around and saw Tepig.
Dizzy: Hey, you!
Tepig: Who? Me?
Dizzy: Dizzy love pork!
He goes into his Spin Mode and starts going after Tepig. The pig Pokemon freaks out and starts running around the room with Dizzy chasing him.
Totodile: Is he always like that when he's hungry?
Buster: Yeah. He can be quite a glutton.
Kururu: We can always prepare your dinner when you're hungry.
Calamity: Great! So, what are you cooking? Mexican?
Furrball: Italian?
Plucky: Japanese?
Tamama: Tonight, we are cooking French.
Fifi & Cosette: Ooh, zhat's our specialty.
Suddenly, Stan walks up to the Tiny Toon girls and offers them four flowers. Two pink ones for Babs and Shirley and two purple ones for Fifi and Cosette. Seeing this makes Buster, Plucky, Furrball, and Calamity fume with anger.
Stan: Hello, ladies! You all look just as lovely as the ones here from this castle.
Suddenly, he felt something pulling him by his tail. It was a long ribbon being pulled by his sister Sandy. She pulls him away from the Tiny Toon girls.
Sandy: Don't mind him, girls. He likes to flirt with every pretty girl he sees. He pretty much flirts with every girl here in this castle.
Suddenly, Tepig ran past Oshawott and Snivy. Just when Dizzy was about to pass those two Pokemon to go after Tepig, they tripped him and held him back.
Dizzy: Let me go! Me want pork!
Plucky: Relax, Dizzy. They can make dinner for us.
Dizzy: YAY! Dizzy love dinner!
Twilight: You hear that? They're hungry! Get everything ready for them!
Everyone got excited. As he does, G1 Optimus, excited himself, gets the stove ready again with the others getting the dishes out.
Giroro: Hold it, guys! You know what Master Goku said! The last thing he wants is to get in trouble again for disobeying the master.
Squirtle: Oh, don't be a sorehead. They're hungry and we won't keep them that way.
Boss: Oh, alright. Get them glasses of water, some bread, and-
Bulbasaur: Boss, I'm surprised at you. They are no prisoners. They are our guests.
Mudkip: Yeah. They should be welcomed here, not the other way around.
Boss and Giroro then turns to Serena, the Tiny Toons, and the Warner Siblings and escorted them to the dining room.
Giroro: Follow us, you guys. Just do us a favor and keep it down, will ya?
Boss: If Master Goku finds out about this, we will be the next meal!
Charmander: Of course. But what's dinner without music?
He lets the door go, as he leaves and slams it right into Boss and Giroro, sending them flying and yelling.
Boss & Giroro: MUSIC?
They both landed in a big bowl. In the dining room, the Ham-Hams got onto the table with spotlights on them. The table was a long table that can fit sixteen people. Serena is on one end of the table. To the left of her from front to back are Buster, Babs, Plucky, Shirley, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. To the right of her from front to back are Furrball, Fifi, Calamity, Cosette, Dizzy, Little Beeper, and Gogo. They all watched in amazement.
Stan: Hamha, ladies and gentlemen. It is with great pride and excellent pleasure that we welcome you all tonight.
The Ham-Hams put on hats and canes.
Stan: Now, relax. take a seat...
The Pokemon, Digimon, and Keronians brought in the chairs to sit the gang down.
Stan: For the dining room proudly presents...your dinner.
The Ham-Hams began to sing, using their hats and canes like a Broadway musical.
Hamtaro: Be...our...guest, be our guests. Put our service to the test! Tie your napkins round your necks, hammo, and we provide the rest!
The Pokemon, Digimon, and Keronians gave napkins to Serena and the Tiny Toons around their necks. They however removed their napkins and put them on their laps.
Stan: Soup du jour, hot hors d'oeuvres. Why, we only live to serve. Try the gray stuff, it's delicious!
The Ham-Hams held out trays with different appetizers, including the gray cupcakes, which Serena and the Tiny Toons took for a taste.
Stan: Don't believe me? Ask the dishes!
A cabinet opens up, revealing dishes. Lapis and Lazuli uses their magic to telekinetically make the dishes dance.
Maxwell: They can sing, they can dance. After all, this is like France!
The dishes then make a formation to look like the Eiffel Tower.
Maxwell: And our dinner here is never second best!
The Ham-Hams then gave Serena and the Tiny Toons a menu each, which they began to read.
Bijou: Go on unfold your menus, take a glance and zhen you'll be our guests, be our guests, be our guests!
The Pokemon, Digimon, and Keronians returned with each dish to the gang, who eats each serving.
Servants: Beef ragout, cheese souffle, pie and pudding en flambe!
In one dish, Boss and Giroro came out of the pie, but Charmander uses his Flamethrower to set it on fire, burning Boss and Giroro, who faints.
Bijou: We'll prepare and serve with flair! A culinary cabaret!
Several Water Pokemon now go diving down a fountain.
Pashmina: You're alone and you're scared, but the banquet's all prepared! No one's gloomy or complaining, while the flatware's entertaining!
The Water Pokemon now go through a Busby Berkeley-like swimming scene. Meanwhile, the Ham-Hams are elevated on a platform, as they juggled some juggling sticks.
Sandy: We tell jokes, we do tricks! With our fellow juggling sticks!
Soon, some Super Robots appeared and began to sing.
Super Robots: And it's all in perfect taste that you can bet!
The Super Robots then jumps over each other and gave one drink to another.
Servants: Come on and lift your glass. You've won your own free pass to be our guests, be guests, be our guests!
Hamtaro: If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest!
Servants: Be our guests, be our guests, be our guests! Get your worries off your chests! Let's just say for your entree! We've an array, may we suggest? Try the bread, try the soup! When the croutons loop de loop? It's a treat for any diner! Don't believe me? Ask the china! Singing pork, dancing veal! What an entertaining meal! How can anyone be gloomy or depressed? We'll make you shout encore! And send us out for more! So, be our guests, be our guests, be our guests!
Boss and Giroro finally freed themselves from the pie and tried to calm everyone down. They tried to grab a servant, but then the spotlight is on them. Boss and Giroro looks shocked, as the servant got free and ran off.
Charmander: Life is so unnerving, for a servant, who's not serving.
Boss and Giroro chuckles nervously, as they tried to leave, but Charmander and Agumon grabs them and keeps them around.
Charmander: He's not whole without a soul to wait upon.
Boss: Let go, you idiots!
Agumon: Ahh, those good old days, when we were useful. Suddenly, those good old days are gone.
Suddenly, it looks like salt is falling. When Boss and Giroro looks up, they saw two salt shakers telekinetically lifted by Lapis and Lazuli. Boss and Giroro groans in annoyance.
Charmander: Ten years, we've been rusting. Needing so much more than dusting.
Charmander and Agumon dusted the salt off of Boss and Giroro, who tried to get free with no success.
Charmander: Needing exercise a chance to use our skills.
Boss and Giroro finally got freed, except it was because Charmander and Agumon let them go by accident. Boss and Giroro were sent flying head first in gelatin. The Ham-Ham and Keronian struggles to get out with no success.
Agumon: Most days, we just lay around the castle, Flabby, fat, and lazy. You all walked in, and oopsy-daisy!
Charmander and Agumon jumps on a spoon to free Boss and Giroro, sending them flying once more. In the kitchen, the Mane Six are excited, as they and the staff are at work, as they themselves danced around.
Twilight: It's the guests, It's the guests! Sakes alive, well I'll be blessed!
Fluttershy: Wine's been poured and thank the lord! We've had the napkins freshly pressed!
Applejack: With dessert, they'll want tea! And my dear, that's fine with me!
Pinkie: While the cups do the soft-shoeing! They'll be bubbling, they'll be brewing!
Rarity: They'll get warm, piping hot!
She gasped, as she saw a spot on a teapot.
Rarity: Heaven's sake, is that a spot?
Rainbow Dash: Clean it up, we want the company impressed!
She quickly cleans the spot off with a towel and puts it in a cart. The Mane Six, Cutie Mark Crusaders, and Spike then rushed the cart into the dining room.
Twilight: We've got alot to do...
The ten arrives in the dining room and stops near Serena and her friends.
Twilight: Is it one cup or two? For you, our guests!
Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash pours out the tea, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy mixes the sugar in the teacups, and Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Spike gave each teacup after they were done.
Servants: They're our guests!
Twilight: They're our guests!
Servants: They're our guests!
Boss and Giroro tried to tell everyone to keep it down, but they got chased away by the dancing Bellosom.
Servants: Be our guests! Be our guests! Our command is your request! It's been ten years since we had anybody here! And we're obsessed! With your meal, with your ease, yes indeed, we aim to please!
The Litwicks then makes a chorus line.
Servants: While the candlelight's still glowing! Let us help you, we'll keep going...
Soon, they all moved to show the Ham-Hams, who began to sing.
Ham-Hams: Course by course!
The Ham-Hams put their hats on, as the Pokemon, Digimon, and Keronians make a chorus line again.
Ham-Hams: One by one, till you shout "Enough, I'm done!"
Serena and her friends looked excited, as a chandelier came down from the ceiling and it was five feet above the table. Servants are standing on it, being careful not to break it.
Servants: Then we'll sing you off to sleep, as you digest! Tonight, you'll prop your feet up! But for now, let's eat up!
Although very freaked out at first, Boss and Giroro calms down and began to dance along like children.
Servants: Be our guests! Be our guests! Be our guests! Please be our guests!
The song comes to a great end with Water Pokemon shooting water in the air and servants dancing. Boss and Giroro were dancing happily, until Charmander and Agumon pushed them aside to make finishing poses. Soon, the song ends, as the servants bowed. Serena and her friends applauded.
Serena: Wow! That was incredible!
Gogo: Man, when it comes to Broadway shows, this one is a hit.
Boss: Thank you very much. It was great, really.
Giroro looks at his watch and yawns.
Giroro: Well, is it that time already? I guess so. Time to go to bed. Off you go!
Furrball: What? And miss out on a chance to check out an enchanted castle? No way!
Yakko: I agree. We just got here. We gotta check this place out.
Boss: Oh, come on. What gives you guys the idea that this place was enchanted?
Boss and Giroro then turns to Charmander and Agumon.
Giroro: You two did, didn't you? You idiots!
Charmander: Why I oughta...
Charmander and Agumon then pounces onto Boss and Giroro and the four got into a big fight.
Plucky: Hey, guys. Calm down.
Charmander, Agumon, Boss, and Giroro eventually stops fighting. The four calms down somewhat and turns to the group.
Calamity: Now, then. If you guys don't mind, I figured we could take a look around. Right, Warners?
Wakko: Sure. The Tiny Toons are like family to us.
The Tiny Toons laughed nervously.
Charmander: Of course. Let's do it.
He is about to begin the tour, but Giroro grabs him by the tail.
Giroro:(Whispers)Hold it, lizard boy! That isn't a good idea! What if they were to going into places they aren't supposed to?
Boss:(Whispers)Yeah! And what would the master say if he saw the three newcomers?
Agumon: Uhh, come again?
Giroro: Ugh. You are just an idiot.
Serena: Say, how about you lead us around?
Buster: Sure! You have to know alot about this place, right?
Furrball: Smartest hamster and frog, I'll bet.
Boss: To tell you the truth...
Boss and Giroro hesitates at first turning around. But the words got to them and they ended up blushing in embarrassment. They looked back and smiles in a dorky manner.
Boss: Aww, why not?
The Pokemon, Digimon, Ham-Hams, and Keronians led Serena and her friends out of the dining room.
That's it for chapter 5. Next time, Serena and the Tiny Toons will have a tour around the castle.
