The love between Rumble and Sweetie Belle was something that had a few slip ups, resulting in the two temporarily breaking up and trying for other types of love and romance.
Rumble found himself dating many other fillies, such as Apple Bloom, Scootaoo, Diamond Tiara and Dinky to an extent before settling temporarily with Cozy Glow.
Sweetie Belle hadn't really gone that path, despite her admirers, the filly had no real interest in dating anypony else, her break-up hitting her harder than she let on.
She wasn't the only one reeling from a break-up though, her friend Tender Taps had also felt his heartache when Twilight had placed him in the friendzone. The poor boy lost out on who he truly believed to be his true love.

It was a big relief for Sweetie Belle, to show some signs of moving on from Rumble, to be happy with another colt, especially one that was already her friend. "Perfect, been doing my job as ambassador for the Dragons, being able to hang out with them is really neat," Spike said. "I really feel like one of them now."
"Are you ever gonna live there permanently?" Tender Taps asked.
"Oh no way, much as I like being a dragon, I also love being around the ponies," Spike said. "I am Twilight's Number One assistant, and that's a role I'll continue to hold on to, I mean she needs someone like me around."
"Well she'll be happy to see you," Tender Taps said. "She's mentioned you on occasion, especially when her brother came by with Cadance and Flurry Heart, which is pretty much when Twilight decided to introduce me to her parents."
"Well it had to happen sooner or later, I mean you are marrying their daughter," Spike said. "I just hope they liked you."
"They did, eventually," Tender Taps said. "I mean, they seemed very surprised but I think they're handling it well."
"I think they expected Twilight to marry a either a Prince, like a Princess probably would, a member of the Royal Guard, like Cadance did, or one of her friends," Spike explained. "There was a time they thought she was gonna end up with Starburst."
"Yeah well Starlight crushed those chances," Tender Taps joked. "Shame I haven't seen them much lately."
"Yeah they're traveling a lot these days, they want to see more of Equestria," Spike said. "Sunset Shimmer has also been pretty busy trying to help the former villains get acclimated to Equestrian Society."
"They seem to be doing pretty well...mostly," Tender Taps said. "Twilight said she's a bit worried since most of them seem pretty bitter and worries they're going to end up turning evil again. Only Sonata and Cozy Glow seem to have motivation to try, mostly Sonata, even Cozy Glow probably feels a bitter given her circumstances."
"Yeah, pregnant and single," Spike said.
"I mean it could be worse, at least she's not alone," Tender Taps said. "Rumble and Sweetie Belle took her in."
"Yeah I heard, that was super nice of then to do," Spike said. "Of course it's mostly Rumble taking responsibility for getting her pregnant, somehow I doubt she would live with them otherwise."
"Probably not, Cozy Glow would be living with Flitter if anything," Tender Taps said. "Though, if she wasn't pregnant, I wonder if she would have switched sides, I mean it seems like she's just doing this for the sake of her baby."
"Not a bad thing, I mean at least Cozy Glow wants better for her baby's life," Spike said. "But she still has a lot of figuring out to do, I mean is she ever going to get married? If she does then what happens to the baby she and Rumble have?"
"That's something they'll have to figure out, that's if Cozy Glow wants to marry anypony else," Tender Taps said. "She might just be content with being a somewhat single mother. I mean even if she's not married she still has two ponies she lives with that's taking care of her baby. Plus the babies that Rumble and Sweetie Belle have will be siblings to Cozy Glow's child."
"Hm, what if Rumble gives Cozy Glow more kids?" Spike wondered. "What if he actually starts a herd?"
"No way, he's not interested," Tender Taps said. "I mean, that's what I've heard, he just wants one filly, and that filly is Sweetie Belle, his fiancé."
"Speaking of fiancés and kids, how long before you and Twilight try for a kid of your own?" Spike asked.
Of course Tender Taps blushed madly at that, "Well, I hope to have kids with her someday but...I want to get married first before we talk about kids. Though honestly, I'm not that ready to become a father, I'm amazed Rumble's handling it so well."
"Unless he's just gonna brush it off as Cozy Glow's kid and leave her with all the responsibility," Spike said.
"Rumble wouldn't...wait would he?" Tender Taps wondered, tapping his chin. He quickly shook it off, "No, he wouldn't, Rumble's too good of a pony to do something like that."
"Yeah, you're right, Rumble's very responsible," Spike said. "But he has two fillies to help him raise his kid, so that probably helps. Plus Rumble's situation might be a little different than yours."
"Yeah, if Twilight and I have a kid, it's just ours," Tender Taps said. "I never got anypony else pregnant and she certainly isn't having another stallion's kid."
"Twilight hasn't even been with another stallion to my knowledge, but she was with a mare once," Spike said.
"A mare?" Tender Taps asked.
Spike shook it off, "Forget I said that, I probably shouldn't have mentioned her, it was really embarrassing for Twilight."
"Uh-huh..." Tender Taps was curious now, he did remember Twilight alluding to something once but never got any straight answers. He felt even more compelled to ask. "Well, anyway, what about you? I mean do you have someone you like?"
"Well there was Rarity, and you know how that's turning out," Spike said. "It's fine though, I haven't found anyone yet, but it can happen."
"What about Ember or Smolder, you seem to spend a lot of time with them," Tender Taps said.
"I can't see myself with Ember," Spike said. "Smolder might be at a different level too, I mean yeah she's cute but it feels a bit awkward dating your rival's sister."
"Oh, speaking of sisters, gotta ask you something quick," Tender Taps said. "Is it true that you once considered dating Sweetie Belle?"
Spike looked a bit surprised by that question, but it wasn't the first time it was brought up, "You know, I've been asked that for years. Back then, when I first met her, I would not have dated Sweetie Belle, she was a bit too young for me. But now, honestly if she were single, I'd definitely think about it. Though you yourself once dated Sweetie Belle, what was that like?"
"It was...nice," Tender Taps said. He could say more, in fact there was more. At a time he really did like Sweetie Belle, and they were both sexually intimate, but he can't say that out loud nowadays because he doesn't want to feel less than faithful to Twilight.
"Well at least you got dating experience out of that, that is sure to help you with your relationship with Twilight," Spike said. "Actually didn't you also date Apple Bloom? You're practically a professional by this point."
"You really think so?" Tender Taps asked.
"Well you got more girlfriends than I have had, and you're about to get married, so yeah I would say you lucked out really well," Spike said.
"Glad to hear," Tender Taps said, feeling a bit more confident.
"Spike, you're here!" Came Twilight's voice. Tender Taps turned to face his angel of a fiancé, the greatest pony in his life. "Oh, were you and Tappy talking?"
"Yeah, just catching up," Spike said. "Did you two set a date for the wedding?"
"Well yeah, I have something but it's practically a year away," Twilight said. "I wanted something sooner but even I can't get special treatment on that."
"Does Equestria even know about it?" Spike asked. "As their Princess the ponies should know."
"Yeah, they should, but I really haven't gotten around to telling anypony yet," Twilight said. "I kind of wanted to set a proper date before I did, and get everything ready before-hoof."
"Doesn't help that I've been really busy myself with my Bridleway career," Tender Taps said. "I mean I'm fine with Twilight waiting, this way I'll know if ponies like me for me, or if it's because I'm married to Twilight."
"Ponies should like you for you regardless," Twilight said. "You're more than talented to garner a large following of genuine fans."
"Yeah, even if you do gain a following, it's still gonna pick up once ponies know you're married to Twilight," Spike said. "You're still gonna have to ambiguous fans."
"But what should matter isn't the fans, it's the fun," Twilight said. "If you're enjoying your time at Bridleway then that's all that should matter."
"Yes, of course, you're right," Tender Taps said. "I am enjoying myself, the only hard part is being away from you."
"I know that feeling," Twilight said, nuzzling Tender Taps. "I miss you when I'm working as well."
Spike did a bit of a gag motion, though quickly halted his mockery when he noticed Twilight glaring at him. While he means it in good fun, he does find most mushy stuff to be a bit of a pain to look at. But he's still happy for the two nonetheless.
"Well anyway, I do want to catch up a bit with you Spike, I want to hear about your travels to see Ember and about how the dragons are doing," Twilight said.
"Sure thing, I got some stories to tell," Spike said. "Well, not a lot, but I think they're pretty interesting."
Meanwhile in Ponyville, both Sweetie Belle and Cozy Glow had treated themselves to a nice spa day, something treated to them by Rarity. The two had made their way into the facility where Lotus Blossom and Aloe Vera took them in immediately.
"Golly, I've never been to a spa before," Cozy Glow said.
"I've been a couple of times, it's really great," Sweetie Belle said. "The ponies here massage all your troubles away, it feels like heaven."
"Well I'm glad Rarity let us use her spa day, hope it's not an inconvenience for her," Cozy Glow said.
"You know my sister, she's all about Generosity," Sweetie Belle said. "Plus she figures we could use the day more, especially you."
"A spa day does sound nice," Cozy Glow said as she and her friend were led to the massage room and given robes to put on.
The two each sat on a chair while Lotus tended to Sweetie Belle and Aloe tended to Cozy Glow. The treatment started with the two placing mud masks on their face and cucumbers on their eyes.
"So you've been here before, right Sweetie Belle?" Cozy Glow asked.
"A few times," Sweetie Belle said as Lotus began filing at her hind hoof. "Rarity usually takes one of her friends with her, but she has occasionally invited me. I know she used to do this weekly with Fluttershy and she liked doing this with Applejack as well."
"It's almost hard to imagine Applejack coming here to get pampered," Cozy Glow said as Aloe filed at her foreleg.
"Applejack is rough and rowdy, but even she needs a relaxing spa day once in a while," Sweetie Belle said. "Keeps her muscles relaxed so she can build them up again."
"Have you ever come here with Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo or Rumble?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Well one time I came here on a double date, I was with Rumble and Rarity was with Thunderlane, but they both seemed too restless to accept a spa treatment," Sweetie Belle said as Lotus filed her horn. "Spa days isn't for everypony."
Aloe tended to Cozy Glow's wing, the filly appreciating the feel, "Well they're for me, I could get used to this."
"This is only the start," Sweetie Belle said. "It gets better as time goes on."
Once their make-up mask and filing were done, the two were placed stomach first on a bed, both ponies getting ready for a massage treatment.
Lotus started rubbing Sweetie Belle's neck area, the filly taking kindly to that, "Thanks Lotus, but if you can, try to get my back as well, I feel some stiffness."
"But of course," Lotus replied.
Aloe was about to start on Cozy Glow, but the filly had a quick thing to mention, "Hey is this alright for somepony who's pregnant?"
"Oh, are you with child darling?" Aloe asked.
"Yes, just a couple of weeks, I think," Cozy Glow could barely remember when she got pregnant prior to being turned to stone but it wasn't that long. "I just want to make sure this is safe for my baby, that and I have really sensitive skin."
"Do not worry dear, I am a professional who has done this many years," Aloe reassured. "You are not the first pregnant pony to come to the spa, I will massage you properly."
"Thanks Miss," Cozy Glow said.
"It's 'Aloe', you do not have to be so formal," Aloe said. "But I do appreciate your manners, your husband is lucky stallion."
Cozy Glow felt a bit awkward hearing that, she wasn't sure what to say without getting too personal. "Uh, well...we're not technically married."
"Oh, pardon me dear," Aloe said, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Are you engaged?"
"Well...sort of..." Cozy Glow said, feeling a bit weird. "We're just living together."
"As long as he loves you and is willing to stay by you, no marriage is needed," Aloe said.
"Y-yeah, he promised to be by my side forever," Cozy Glow said. She was technically telling the truth, even if the proper context wasn't given.
"How about you Sweetie Belle, Rarity tells me you're engaged," Lotus said.
"I am, to Rumble," Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh, so you did get back together," Lotus said. "I saw you the other day wondering if you made up."
"We did, now we're engaged to be married," Sweetie Belle said. "I'm inviting everypony I know to the event. Cozy Glow is gonna be one of my bridesmaids."
"Yeah, I am," Cozy Glow said. "I'm really excited, Rumble's lucky to have a filly like Sweetie Belle. They're cute together."
"Aw, thanks," Sweetie Belle said, then let out a soft moan as Lotus really dug in deep. "You're the best Cozy Glow."
"You too," Cozy Glow said, relaxing to Aloe's gentle touch. "You wouldn't mind getting my hips, would you?"
"Anywhere you want dear," Aloe said, lowering down to Cozy Glow's hip area.
"Golly...so tender..." Cozy Glow moaned, allowing Aloe to work her magic.
"Your skin really is soft," Aloe said, gently rubbing Cozy Glow's hips. "Especially around here." Aloe briefly passed over her flank. "I hope whoever you were with appreciates your tender body."

Something about her soft touch was exhilarating to Cozy Glow, it was relaxing enough to take her mind off her troubles, Sweetie Belle feeling the same way.
After the session, the two fillies were admitted into the steam room where they both enjoyed the soothing warm air. Cozy Glow felt more relaxed here than she has been in years, for the first time she felt truly free of her troubles.
As she allowed herself to feel ay peace, she slowly started to doze off, accidentally leaning against Sweetie Belle.
"Uh, Cozy Glow?" Sweetie Belle said, nudging her friend back away.
"Huh?" Cozy saw that she involuntarily used Sweetie Belle as a pillow of sorts. "Sorry about that, guess I felt a bit sleepy."
"Bad idea to fall asleep in here, you'll wake up all wrinkly," Sweetie Belle joked.
"Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder," Cozy Glow said. "It's just so nice and comfy, plus your fur's pretty soft."
"Won't be soft once I start sweating," Sweetie Belle said. "The only pony who likes my fur dampened is Rumble."
"He what?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Basically he likes seeing me sweat, he tells me it's attractive," Sweetie Belle said. "Weird thing to say but that's his sporty, competitive side. Of course I don't like doing physical exercise so he rarely gets to see me sweat."
"That's a weird quality to find attractive though," Cozy Glow said.
"Like I said, it's his competitive side, he said it makes me look athletic, which he finds attractive," Sweetie Belle said. "It really makes me wonder why he didn't just end up with Scootaloo since she would satisfy that need."
"Maybe because you're prettier," Cozy Glow said.
"That's nice of you to say but looks are subjective, and I don't think Rumble cares about that stuff," Sweetie Belle said.
"Or maybe he does, I mean he has called you the cutest filly, hasn't he?" Cozy Glow pointed out.
"Well, yeah, but..." Sweetie Belle started to wonder. "Huh, maybe the attraction is mostly physical."
"Would that be a bad thing?" Cozy Glow said. "If he thinks you're pretty, you should be happy. I mean why did you fall in love with Rumble?"
"Because he was nice, sweet and a total gentlecolt," Sweetie Belle said. "His looks weren't a factor but I won't deny that he's very handsome, and he has an amazing body to boot, something I've come to appreciate in my later years."
"Maybe Rumble likes it more when pretty fillies like you do more physical stuff, because it's so unusual," Cozy Glow said.
"You really think so?" Sweetie Belle said. "Seems like a weird thing to like."
"Eh, I mean it's his choice," Cozy Glow said. "I don't like doing too much physical work myself. If I could I would just sit back and be treated like a queen."

"Speaking of my baby, is it alright staying in here too long?" Cozy Glow asked.
"I don't think it should be a problem, let's stick around a bit longer," Sweetie Belle said, laying back against her chair. "It's just so relaxing in here."
"Yeah, it is," Cozy Glow said, laying back herself, enjoying the warm air a little bit longer.
By the end of the day the two had finished up, both refreshed and relaxed after such a much needed spa day.
"We should do that again soon," Sweetie Belle said. "We can try the hot tub, it's super relaxing."
"Maybe I can even get a new mane-do," Cozy said, fluffing her hair.
"I don't know, I really like your mane the way it is now," Sweetie Belle said. "Your curls are really cute."
"Aw, thanks," Cozy said. "I'm just worried they're too cute, I mean maybe I need a mane-style fitting of a mom."
"Your mane's fine, don't worry about it," Sweetie Belle said.
"Alright, if you say so," Cozy Glow said. As the two continued to stroll down, they passed by a familiar duo of rich fillies.
"Sweetie Belle, Cozy Glow," came the voice of Diamond Tiara, the girl getting their attention.
"Oh, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, good to see you both," Sweetie Belle said.
"Yeah, you too," Diamond Tiara said. "You're both looking nice and refreshed."
"We just got back from the spa, it was so relaxing," Sweetie Belle said.
"It was my first time, I haven't been to the spa before today," Cozy Glow said.
"Better late than never," Diamond Tiara said. "You look so cute today Cozy Glow, you should definitely make more time to go to the spa. Of course you're cute every day but you're definitely radiating beauty."
"Golly, thanks Diamond," Cozy Glow said, blushing from the compliment.
"Also Sweetie Belle, I don't think I got to congratulate you on your engagement," Diamond Tiara said.
"Oh yeah, you're marrying Rumble, such a lucky girl," Silver Spoon said.
"I am lucky, Rumble's a sweet guy and he loves me very much," Sweetie Belle said. "Marrying him is a dream come true for me."
"I'm a little surprised you two are back together, especially since..." Silver Spoon started having second thoughts about finishing that sentence. "Maybe I shouldn't say."
"It's fine, I know what I did," Cozy Glow said. "I never should have done it either."
"Well it's not like we can blame you, Rumble's totally cute," Diamond Tiara said. "I'm just happy I got my turn with him when I did."
"Dia!" Silver Spoon scolded. "Don't say that in front of Sweetie Belle!"
"It's fine, I know Diamond and Rumble had a date or two," Sweetie Belle reassured. "I'm totally good with that."
"Yeah, just casual dating," Diamond Tiara said.
Silver Spoon gave her friend something of a dirty look, "Uh-huh...We should go." She turned to Sweetie Belle, "Let's catch up Sweetie Belle, maybe the four of us can take a trip to the spa sometime."
"Oh I'd love that!" Sweetie Belle said.
"Well we should be off, let's go Silver Spoon," Diamond Tiara said, trotting off with her rich best friend.
"Coming," Silver Spoon said, following after her friend. Once out or earshot of the other two fillies, Silver Spoon decided to vent some annoyance. "Also, what about you and Rumble was 'casual'?"
"Oh come off it, so the two of us got intimate, think I was gonna pass up a chance at Rumble?" Diamond Tiara asked. "I know you wouldn't pass that up."
Silver Spoon blushed a bit, "Well...alright I wouldn't, but still, be careful saying that around Sweetie Belle, what if she's not fully over the initial break-up?"
"It's been years, Sweetie Belle wouldn't be upset this long, plus they're together now and they're both smarter and wiser," Diamond Tiara said. "They'll be fine, so don't worry about it."
"Still, try not to upset them, I don't want to not get invited to their wedding," Silver Spoon said.
"Come on, Sweetie Belle's not petty like that, and I know pettiness, that was our thing after all," Diamond Tiara said.
"Well it was more your thing, I was an unwilling lackey," Silver Spoon said.
"Pfft, unwilling my flank, you enjoyed taunting the Crusaders just as much as I did," Diamond Tiara said.
"Not that much honestly," Silver Spoon insisted. "I don't even remember why we didn't like them."
"Cutie Marks, remember?" Diamond Tiara said.
"Oh right...then that ended up being their specialty," Silver Spoon said.
"I know, they got their mark helping me, pretty ironic," Diamond Tiara said.
"What was more ironic was that Rumble ended up dating Sweetie Belle, and he hated Cutie Marks," Silver Spoon said.
"Yeah, he was a bit tougher, especially since he knew how to throw an insult back at you," Diamond Tiara said. "We should see Rumble later, kind of want to know from his end how he and Sweetie Belle got back together."
"I just want to know more about their relationship with Cozy Glow," Silver Spoon said. "I hope she's really changed."
"I think she has," Diamond Tiara said. "I can sense pettiness and shallowness, and Cozy Glow...well she's not totally free but she seems like she's trying."
"As long as she doesn't do anything to upset Sweetie Belle or Rumble," Silver Spoon said. "I'd hate to see either one of them heartbroken again."
"Same here, which is why I want to have faith in Cozy Glow," Diamond Tiara said. "Well let's hurry on then."
Meanwhile back with Sweetie Belle and Cozy Glow, the two had made their way home, both being greeted by Rarity. "Ah, you're home, how was your spa day?"
"Perfect, I feel like new," Sweetie Belle said. "Definitely gonna need more on the way to my wedding day."
"I might need a few in the days leading to me giving birth," Cozy Glow said.
"Of course, this was just the first, you two definitely need your days to feel at peace," Rarity said. "I'll try to make some reservations for Rumble too, he could use the soothing."
"Is that necessary?" Sweetie Belle asked. "I mean, Rumble doesn't like the spa much."
"He won't be saying that when his nerves completely take over him," Rarity said. "Rumble's a tough pony but he does get overwhelmed at times when he feels nervous."
"That's one thing that hasn't changed since I first met him," Sweetie Belle said.
"What was Rumble like when you met him?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Total opposite of what he is now," Sweetie Belle said "For one, he used to be so nervous whenever he spoke to someone."
"He was stuttering a lot when I first met him," Rarity said. "Poor dear could barely get two words in without panicking."
"He also had this adorably high pitched voice," Sweetie Belle said. "I almost miss it, it matched his cuteness."
"I don't know, Rumble's voice fits his looks," Rarity said. "I mean he always looked like this tough foal, which is why I was surprised when I first met him."
"Funny, I never saw him as a tough foal, mostly since he did have a bit of a filly face," Sweetie Belle said. "I mean he's mostly grown out of it, but he still has that cuteness to him."
"Has anyone mistaken him for a filly?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Probably a few ponies, he hated it, it made him a bit insecure about himself," Sweetie Belle said. "Which is why he was so grateful when his voice grew deeper, he said he finally felt like a colt."
"I mean, I knew he was a colt when I first met him," Cozy Glow said, a dreamy look appearing on her face. "He was so cute and handsome, easy to fall in love with."
Cozy stood in a daze, thinking about the day she first met Rumble, though after a few seconds, Sweetie Belle grew a bit concered, waving her hoof in front of her friend's face. "Cozy Glow!?"
"Huh!?" Cozy remembered that she was in Sweetie Belle's presance. "Sorry, I still can't help myself sometimes when it comes to Rumble."
"It's natural, I guess," Sweetie Belle said. "You can't help having a crush, what matters is how well you compose yourself."
"It's nice that you don't get so jealous Sweetie Belle, not like you have anything to worry about, Rumble has eyes only for you, and I don't think he would make the same mistake twice anyway," Rarity said.
"Speaking of Rumble though, where is he?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"He went to stop by Sweet Apple Acres, he's getting some fruit for a salad," Rarity said. "He's making something nice and healthy for you girls, especially you Cozy Glow."
"Oh good, we'll get our baby used to the Apple Family's apples as early as possible!" Sweetie Belle said.
"The Apple Family's apples are really tasty, I cant think of anypony who doesn't like them," Cozy Glow said.
"Aside from Strawberry Sunrise," Sweetie Belle said, giggling right after.
"Oh yeah, I do respect her honesty," Cozy Glow said.
Seconds later, Rumble had finally arrived back at the Boutique, holding a basket of apples and some other produce with his teeth. "Home!"
"Rumble's back!" Cozy Glow said, turning her attention to the door. "And he's got the group."
"Need some help?" Sweetie Belle asked. Without waiting for a response, she used her magic to grab the basket, levitating it away from Rumble.
"Thanks, carrying that around all day was a pain," Rumble said.
Sweetie Belle trotted over to lock Rumble in a kiss for a few seconds before breaking off. "Feel better?"
"Much better," Rumble said. "So how was your day."
"Cozy Glow and I went to the spa, it was super relaxing," Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh, that place?" Rumble asked. "Well at least it works for you."
"It can work for you too, you really should give it another chance," Sweetie Belle said.
"I can't, something about it doesn't feel right," Rumble said. "I'm too rough and tough for a sensitive place like that."
"Come on Rumble, even Rainbow Dash and Applejack go," Sweetie Belle said. "And they're two of the toughest ponies in Equestria."
"Even Big Macintosh wouldn't pass up a chance," Rarity said. "Plus if you think that Lotus and Aloe aren't able to massage your body well, you could just ask for Bulk Biceps to tend to you."
"NO!" Rumble shouted. "Not after what Spike and Mr. Cake had told me! I'd much rather the spa twins than getting crushed."
"They're really good, especially for a pony like me," Cozy Glow said. "Aloe's hooves were like magic, I would love to go back just for her to massage me again."
"You'll get the chance again soon," Sweetie Belle said, then turned back to her fiancé. "And Rumble, I think you would like the touch of the spa mares."
"You're alright with two attractive girls feeling my body?" Rumble joked.
"Lotus felt my body, I don't see you getting jealous," Sweetie Belle said.
"Well yeah, she's a girl, if it were a guy then I might be a little more jealous," Rumble said. "I want to be the only guy in your life."

"Would I be able to join in?" Rumble teased back.
"Uh..." Cozy Glow got their attention. "Is this a normal conversation between you two?"

"It's cute, but sometimes kind of weird," Rarity said. "In all seriousness Rumble, I do hope you consider the spa again, it really can come in handy."
"You don't even need the massage, the steam room would be enough for you," Sweetie Belle said. "Or even a hot tub, we can...wash each other."
"Sweetie Belle, please refrain from public intimacy," Rarity warned. "Lotus and Aloe won't be happy if their spa contains...certain fluids."
"Alright fine, we'll just get a hot tub when we get our own place to live," Sweetie Belle said. "It'll be great."
"I'd like a hot tub," Cozy Glow said. "Shame we didn't go this time."
"Next time for sure," Sweetie Belle said. "You can join Rumble and I, prevent us from getting strange ideas."
"Unless she wants to join in," Rumble muttered.
Sweetie Belle's ears twitched, having heard part of that, "You say something Rumble?"
"Uh...no, nothing much really," Rumble nervously insisted.
Sweetie Belle didn't buy that, "Really? I could have sworn you said something regarding our next spa visit."
"Uh...I should go prepare that salad, gotta make sure we all eat healthy, especially Cozy Glow, we want that baby coming out strong," Rumble said, quickly inching into the kitchen.
Sweetie Belle eyed Rumble as he quickly dashed into the kitchen, letting out a scoff, "Rumble can be so weird sometimes, but in a cute, dorky way."
Cozy Glow nodded in agreement, though couldn't help but think about what Rumble had said, despite his attempts to hide it. She heard part of what he said, and the part she heard did raise her interest.
Later in the evening, Sweetie Belle was on her way to the bathroom, ready to take a nice shower when she bumped into Rumble, the boy having stepped out the shower, gleaming a bit from his wash.
"Hey Sweetie Belle, shower's all yours," Rumble said.
"Thanks," Sweetie Belle replied. "Oh Rumble, question."
"What is it?" Rumble asked.
"Back when we were on break, you were with a lot of fillies, right?" Sweetie Belle asked.
Rumble looked a bit uncomfortable by the question, "Yeaaaah?"
"Rumble, it's fine if you were with other fillies, we weren't together so you had the right to date them," Sweetie Belle said. "I dated Tender Taps, so it's not like you were the only one."
"Right...well yeah, I've been with other fillies," Rumble said.
"Was Diamond Tiara one of them?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Yeah, she was," Rumble confirmed. "Though it wasn't really much of a romance thing, more like she just wanted to have a hunky stallion give her attention."
Sweetie Belle couldn't help but giggle at the response, it did sound like Diamond Tiara, "Well I was just curious since Diamond Tiara mentioned dating you. Really seemed like you got around quite a bit, you probably dated every filly in town."
"That's not a bad thing right?" Rumble asked.
"Not really, I mean you probably made a lot of them happy," Sweetie Belle said. "You've always caught the attention of fillies even while we were dating, so it must have been a relief for them to have dated you, or even kissed you. I had an opportunity with many of the colts but, it was tough for me to move on."
"Well at least you have Tender Taps for a while," Rumble said. "But why didn't that last?"
"Probably because he never stopped loving Twilight, just like I never stopped loving you," Sweetie Belle said.
"If you never stopped, why did you wait so long to come back to me?" Rumble asked.
"I could ask you that as well," Sweetie Belle said. "I mean, you told me you would come back to me, when you didn't, I thought you just stopped loving me, so I accepted it."
"Me? Stop loving you?" Rumble asked. "No way, I always loved you, I was just...too afraid to go back to you. I mean, I did start dating Cozy Glow, the same filly who I kissed while you and I were still dating. Even after we started dating, I failed as her coltfriend, so maybe that lack of confidence never let me go back to you."
"Aw, Rumble..." Sweetie Belle stroked his face. "i guess I should have tried making my move then."
"I mean, does it matter? We're together now aren't we?" Rumble asked. "You and I are getting married, and that's all I care about."
"Me too," Sweetie Belle said, taking Rumble in for a kiss. "Well, I should get washed up. But before I do, tell me this."
"What is it?" Rumble asked.
"You and Diamond Tiara, she mentioned casual dating, but was it really casual, or something more?" Sweetie Belle asked.
Rumble started to blush, thinking to his moments with the rich filly from a couple years ago, "It was nothing..."
"Hey it's fine if you two, you know, had sex," Sweetie Belle said. "I know you did with Cozy Glow and Scootaloo."

As she distanced herself, she heard the door open and her name called, "Oh, Cozy Glow."
"Hi Sweetie Belle, taking a shower?" Cozy Glow asked.

"Oh, must have been from yesterday, guess I used it all up," Cozy Glow said.

"Oh, sure thing," Cozy Glow said. "I could use some help with my wings."
"Leave that to me," Sweetie Belle said, stepping out the bathroom. "Be back in a few, make your way inside and get ready."
"Sure thing!" Cozy Glow said. Feeling excited, she made her way into the bathroom, eager to spend a little extra time with Sweetie Belle, time that helped her feel more of a connection to her former rival of love, and who will essentially be her baby's second mother. "Wonder if Sweetie Belle can help me find somepony of my own though. Somepony as good as Rumble..."
Indeed Rumble was the most loved stallion in Ponyville for the most part, any filly who has been with him has something fond to remember him by.
