Chapter 6
The Ground
On the ground. The hundred was working on the wall. Atom looks at Octavia, who was sitting with two guys. "This wall won't build itself," Atom says.
"Walls won't stop what's out there. We need weapons," Octavia says.
"Then build weapons. Your brother wasn't kidding about that. He'll hurt them," Atom says.
"Come on. We were just talking. You're too hot to be my brother's bitch," Octavia says.
"I'm no one's bitch," Atom says.
"Then prove it," Octavia says. She stands up and starts to walk towards one of the teens.
She whispers something in his ear. She walks into the dropship, the teen follows.
Atom follows her. He walks in the dropship and sees the teen on the ladder. He pulls him down, he climbs up the ladder and looks at Octavia.
"No one's bitch huh? Maybe on of these days, you'll realize you can't control me". Octavia says.
"That guy you were with. Did you know He was in for murder"? Atom asks. Octavia looks at him.
"You know the funny is, I'm actually protecting him from you". Atom says. He climbs back down as close the hatchet.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, what are you doing"? Octavia asks as she tries to open the hatchet.
"Consider yourself controlled" Atom says as he locks the hatchet.
"Is this all you got? They locked me under the floor for sixteen years just for being born! This is nothing". Octavia says.
"Hey, you would you keep it down? I'm trying to concentrate". Monty says as he was working on a wristband.
The Ark.Raven tosses her helmet to red.
"Did anyone notice there's no damage to the b dock"? Raven asks as she takes her Gloves off.
"B dock's restricted. You know that". Red says as he and another man helps takes the suit off Raven.
"What, they're gonna float me for looking". Raven asks.
Red stays quiet.
"Guys, come on, an exodus ship was launched. You're not curious about that"? Raven asks.
"It wasn't launched, it was ejected. According to engineering, a routine maintenance accident forced them to eject". Red explains.
"A maintenance accident that didn't cause any damage? That's a lie, and you know it". Raven says as she takes off her suit.
"Fine if that doesn't stir your tank how bout this, Why would they build a dropship in the first place"? Raven asks as she takes off her other suit.
"Just slow down, we need to check your vitals". Red says.
"I'll save you the trouble, I feel good". Raven says as she puts on her necklace.
"Visiting day, tell lover boy I'll pay him the two days rations I owe him when he gets out". The other man says.
"It was three days, hey stash my gear. I'll come back for it later". Raven says as she puts on her pants.
"Okay Raven stop". Red says. Raven looks at him
"Lockups been quarantined. There's some kind of virus. No visitation for at least two months, sorry". Red explains as Raven put on her shirt.
With Clarke's Group.
Wells, and Clarke walk through the woods. "Hey, hold up," Bellamy says as he comes in front of Murphy with a gun in his hand. "What's the rush? You don't survive a spear through the heart," Bellamy says.
"Bellamy, put the gun". Wells says as he walks up towards him.
"Why don't you something about"? Murphy says as he pushes Wells away.
"Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he'd have died instantly," Clarke says.
"It doesn't mean we have time to waste," Clarke says. Bellamy grabs Clarke's arm.
"As soon as you take this wristband off, we can go," Bellamy says. Wells says
"The only way the Ark is gonna think I'm dead is if I'm dead. Got it?" Clarke asks him.
"Brave princess," Bellamy says.
"Why don't you find your own nickname?" Finn asks as he comes out of the woods. "You call this a rescue party? Got to split up, cover more ground. Clarke, come with me," Finn says as he walks away. Clarke follows.
"Better late than than never". Clarke says.
"I like to think so". Finn says.
The other three follow.
Wells look at Clarke, who was talking to Finn. Bellamy walks up to him.
"Guess we got a lot more in common than meets the eye, huh"? Bellamy asks. Wells sigh.
"We have nothing in common". Wells says.
"No? both came down to protect someone we love. Your secret's safe with me. Of course, for you it's worse. With Finn around, Clarke doesn't even see you. Its almost like you're not even here". Bellamy says as he walks away. Wells shakes his head.
The Ark
Raven walks in the halls and sees Abby talking to Jackson.
"Excuse me, Dr. Griffin. I have a question about the quarantine. My boyfriend's in lockup, I went to go see him. Instead, I saw an open air dock. If there really was a virus, wouldn't you move to contain the airflow"? Raven asks.
"The virus in airborne. That's why the ducts are open". Abby states.
"Can you tell me if he's ok"? Raven asks.
"I cant, i'm sorry". Abby says.
"No you're not. First the dropship, and now this. The council's hiding something, and I'm gonna find out what it is". Raven says as she walks away.
"Ballsy kid". Jackson says.
"Yeah, reminds me of someone". Abby says.
