Chapter Six Wally West

"I'm Percy Jackson, well a clone of him. I've been trying to get the attention of a superhero to meet me here. And it looks like I found a great one." Percy paused, perhaps hoping for Wally to fill in the silence.

Wally knew when someone was trying to stroke his ego, especially if it was so that a person could get something out of him, so he knew better than to heartily agree.

"I want to offer you the opportunity to join me on a cause that's bigger than the both of us," Percy continued, his voice rising in enthusiasm. "The man whom I work for and I have determined that it's up to us to make the world a better place for metahumans."

"Metahumans." Percy came closer. "Criminals often don't get second chances and innocent metahumans who don't know how to control their powers aren't allowed to live freely. Not only that, but metahumans and reformed criminals continue to be failed by the justice system. I'd like you to meet the man who I'm working with to discuss this in further detail."

Wally shook his head. It's not just metahumans and reformed criminals who are failed by the justice system. "And you'd just trust me?"

"Well of course you'd have to remove the earpiece in your ear and, and as for the suit…" Percy paused. "The suit definitely looks like it'd be worth keeping, yeah we'll take the suit."

"Dream on, I wouldn't sell that suit to you, let alone give it away for free," Jeff snorted.

"That's not happening." Wally folded his arms.

"You tell him!" Jeff chortled.

Percy raised his hands in the direction of the lake. He pushed them out and cupped them raising them high.

"Let's test your speed Flash,"

Percy looked behind him to see to his horror thousands of litres of water hovering 60 feet over the beach.

People began screaming and pointing. Some were frozen in shock, while others dropped everything in their hands and ran.
