The date of birth of Tommy and Tina Snow-Parker.
It wasn't the best day for the team.
Snow-Parker household
Caitlin was currently on the couch watching Frozen 2 with Frankie while rubbing her gigantic pregnant belly. Carrying twins has basically caused her to not be able to get anywhere without some extra help, so Frankie and Peter have been going back and forth on who takes care of Caitlin and Frost and both of their needs.
"You ever find it ironic how you're basically Anna and Elsa wrapped into one person?" Frankie asked Caitlin.
"Really? How so?" Caitlin asked.
"You're sweet and caring like Anna, and at the same time you're also commanding, a little cold and uptight like Elsa." Frankie elaborated. "Also, it doesn't help with Frost's powers."
"There it is!" Frost was waiting for that comment.
Caitlin was chuckling when she suddenly winced as she felt one of the twins kick. "Hmm, feels like your brothers bugging your sister again." She stated.
"That's it." Frankie cheered her unborn sister on while leaning in close to her mom's stomach. "You're already a fighter."
Caitlin laughs until wincing again, this time it was a little harder. "Okay, that was a big kick."
Frankie smiled until she looked and noticed Caitlin's pants were becoming soaked. "Uh...I don't think that was a kick, mom."
Caitlin looked confused when she looked down and saw her water broke.
"Oh my god! It's happening!" Frost cried in fear.
"Oh my god, it's happening!" Caitlin cried in terror.
"Oh god, it's happening!" Frankie also cried in fear and agonizing terror.
"Quick, Frankie, get the baby bag. Get the elevator. Get your father!" Caitlin cried as she quickly got back on her feet as Frankie raced around the condo.
Star labs
Barry just flashed back into the cortex with Peter right behind him, half of his costume was currently scorched since they just finish fighting off Hydro Man and Molten Man.
"Man, that was fun." Barry said.
"Yeah, easy for you to say, you had a water slide of a good time. I was stuck with the dude who literally scorched my underpants." Peter scoffed as he showed his spider pants were destroyed and his underwear was visible. And they were Spider-Man underwear.
"I thought superheroes didn't wear their own merchandise." Miles joked.
"Shut it, rookie." Peter said as he point to him sternly.
"That's my nickname for Allen." Ralph reminded him.
"Well, I gotta get this to Fox, and then home to my wife and soon-to-be born kids." Peter said as he strolled off to change.
"So it's any day now, right?" Barry asked casually while removing his own gloves.
"Well, the doctors said it could be another week or so. Seems my kids have the same sense of time as I do." Peter joked as he came out with a bag which contained his scorched suit. He then felt a buzz and saw that it was Lucius. "Hey, Fox, I was just about to call you." He then looked seriously confused. "Whoa, whoa, Fox, slow down. What?" He then suddenly got seriously shocked.
"Everything okay?" Cisco asked him, a bit frightened.
Pete quickly hanged up and called Caitlin's parents who were visiting. "Carla, it's Peter. Wake up Thomas. It's happening." He quickly told her and hung up.
"Wait, wh-what's happening?" Cisco asked.
"It's the twins. They're on their way." Peter informed them.
"What?!" Cisco asked as he quickly got back up.
"I'm so glad I taught Frankie how to drive." Peter stated as he quickly called May. "May. We're on our way, be ready." He quickly said before hanging up again.
"We gotta go." Barry guessed as Peter started hyperventilating. "Oh god, this is happening."
"Hey, hey, stay with us, man." Barry said and saw he was in no mood to be sped to the hospital. "Cisco, get the van, get everyone in it." He demanded and Cisco ran off to do just that.
But once he reached the garage he saw that there was no van. "Where's the van? Harry!" He cried out to the man who was just racing in. "Where's the van?"
"Why the hell would I know?" Harry asked. "It's not my van."
"Technically it is." Barry muttered
Cisco then looks mad as he knows who did it. "Sarge!"
"He's not here." Ralph informed him.
"Okay, Ralph, grab onto everyone." Barry said as he held onto a freaking out Peter.
Ralph stretched his arms and wrapped everyone up. "Okay, now what?"
Barry grabbed his hand and Peter with his other and sped them off to the hospital.
Central City General
Frankie was pacing around the front desk when she saw Barry a flash of lightning outside, followed by everyone racing in.
"Frankie!" Barry cried while Peter was finally pulling himself together. "Is she already here?"
"Yeah, they took her as soon as we got here, May's with her." Frankie confirmed. "I was waiting for you guys to get here."
"Okay, get Peter there. We'll wait for everyone else to get here." Barry said as Frankie lead her dad down to the medical room.
A while passed as Cecile, Patty, and Joe came in with baby Jenna.
"Hey, everyone here?" Joe asked.
"Still waiting for Snow's parents." Harry said as he took a sip from his coffee.
"Where do you get your supply of coffee?" Ralph questioned.
Just as if like magic, Thomas and Carla came in running. "Hey, how is everything?"
"Still waiting." Parry answered.
"Wonder how things are going in there." Cisco said as he shook in fear.
Let's just say that they should've used power dampeners for this particular moment.
"Okay, doing great, now it's time to push." May tells Caitlin/Frost as they're currently switching from one another.
"I can't do this!" Caitlin cried.
"Come on, Caitlin, you can do it. We're about to meet our kids." Peter encouraged her on while she's currently freezing his entire hand.
The rest of the group waited for what's seemed like forever until they noticed Peter coming up with a smile on his face and his arm in a cast.
"What happened to you?" Barry was afraid to ask.
"Well, I learned the hard way that Frost should be put under something or at least wear a meta dampener next birth." Peter sighed. "It's just a bit of frostbite, I'll be fine in under an hour."
"How's Caity?" Thomas asked.
"She's got a healing factor so she's better than me." Peter said sarcastically. "She's sleeping right now, but you wanna meet the twins?"
Peter then lead them back to the room and they saw two small bundles crying in the cradles.
"Aww!" Cisco cooed at the two bundles.
"Tommy and Tina Snow-Parker." Peter said with a smile as he looked towards Frankie. "Your brother and sister."
Frankie smiled as she looked down at the two of them and doesn't even know what to think.
Later on, everyone was gone leaving just Peter, Caitlin, and Frankie alone.
Frankie was watching as the two parents were currently asleep. She knew that they had a lot of things on their plate and deserved the rest.
She looked down in her hand and saw Tina was currently fussing, trying to get comfortable in her sister's arms.
Frankie smiles and fixes the blanket on the little girl and can't wait to see what the future holds with her.
"I'm gonna let you in on a secret." Frankie whispered to the child. "These two are not gonna be the best of parents. But the one thing you can always count on: they will be doing their best. I had nothing growing up, until dad finally found out about me and decided to raise me." She stated as she caressed the newborns cheek. "And I know that they might seem crazy, I know that. Trust me, when I first met them, they were barely functioning as a couple. Now they're functional, just a little bit complicated. I mean, your aunt is also your half-mother. They'll do their best to raise you, and they'll always be there for you. Like good parents should be. They'll never abandon you, and will always put you first. You and your brother will be the number one priority in their lives. The city comes close, but just like me, it'll always be their kids." She then walked over top lace the child down to sleep and took a quick picture to send to Miles who has been asking for an update.
My god, they're adorable : Arachnid Kid
Metal Cover : My thoughts exactly
They look just like their parents: Arachnid Kid
Metal cover : My thoughts exactly. See you soon.
She then placed her phone away and strolled back over to the seat and sat down with a smile on her face and slowly drifted off to sleep.
