Ayaka led us through the thick forest as the man named Tohma walked beside Anagi catching up with his long time friend. " Yeah dude and we have our festival coming up soon you're gonna join us right?" Tohma asked, smiling at Anagi expectantly who was still surprised by the man's almost childlike demeanor. "Um I'll see, how is Mimi doing?" Tohma looked at Ayaka who balled her fist up as she walked. "That girl is like a dog, you consistently have to keep an eye on her before she runs off somewhere" Ayaka said, frowning as Tohma patted her back. "Oh relax, she brings a relaxing air to the world especially considering how gloomy this place has been. '' he said as Kazuha walked up to the front. "Really Inazuma tends to be so fun and bright" he said as Ayaka waived her hand." Don't worry Kazuha, it's just the vision hunt that's got people on edge. Besides that the place is buzzing. Your favorite tea spot is actually doing great" she said, causing Kazuha to grin beside Tohma. "So this is how Kazuha is away from Anagi '' Lumine said to Fischl who had joined her in the back. Fischl nodded, ringing her hands together as she looked toward the grass nervously. Lumine figured she was probably out of her comfort zone. 'Meeting your significant other's family is easy when it's just Lisa but meeting his friends must be throwing her off' Lumine thought.
Ayaka smiled as they reached the end of the clearing walking toward a large white and blue wall. Ayaka walked to the wall and put her hand on it as a Gold door appeared. "Here we are ,now let me do the talking ok .You're foreign and Anagi is your best piece except Anagi doesn't see it that way and would do more harm than good." as Ayaka opened the door she walked into a huge open kitchen with staff everywhere. When they saw Ayaka they all stopped and bowed." Hello Lady Ayaka, " they said, casting cold glances at Anagi. He ignored them as they walked out into the main area. A short woman with blue eyes and blond hair was getting fed grapes with a white haired burly man sitting beside her. "Father mother Hello" she said bowing as Anagi bowed as well tapping Fischl's leg to follow suit. Ayaka's father looked up at her before his eyes went to Anagi. A grunt came out of his mouth as he tapped his wife before standing and walking up to Ayaka and Anagi. He towered over Anagi who was tall in his own right. "I see your back" he said as Anagi looked him in the eye with a small frown plastered on his face.
He hugged Ayaka and Anagi together smiling." My lovely son in law, how are you" he said, causing Fischl to jump up angry"What do you mean Son in law!" she said as Anagi shoved the man off him." He means nothing. I'm not your son in law" he said as Ayaka blinked" Yes Anagi it's almost like I don't tell them that everyday they ask about you" she said blocking her dad's face from hers. Fischl breathed a sigh of relief before the men looked at them. "Oh Ayaka and who are these people '' The mother asked as Ayaka cleared her throat. "These people are my guests, this is the great traveller from across the sea and this is Anagis friend Princess Fischl" She said smiling as Fischl tried to speak up before Lumine grabbed her mouth. "Fischl relax we have to play along '' Ayaka's father nodded."I see our boy has also been making great connections" He said getting a word of denial from Anangi."Once again not your boy and yes very great connections. "He said, looking at Fischl blankly as Paimon started to giggle. "Oh and who is this um, small child?" The mother asked, pointing to Paimon. "Oh she is the great wielder of the stars that travels with the great traveller " Ayaka responded as Paimon nodded in agreement. "Yes so loyal that even in our greatest peril she will even act as emergency sustenance" Lumine added, causing Tohma, Kazuha and Anagi to giggle to themselves. "I am not food, I am your humble guide" she said as
Ayakas father let out a hearty laugh. "I see very interesting indeed and to think you brought another princess" He said as Fischl nodded. "Indeed for this island has been blessed by the ruler of darkness and a being who weaves the very fate of the worlds through her divine glory" Anagi sighed , grateful for Fischl's skill of acting as extravagant as possible. "Oh my your thee the princess Fischl der verurteilung" Said the dad Causing Anagi to blink at the man with disappointed eyes because he knew that he was loving this. "Yes I see a follower of my greatness is always appreciated." Anagi gave Lumine a thumbs up knowing that Ayakas father and mother were both nerds and never really paid attention to outside culture that did not directly involve them. "Anagi you must be even better than we thought if you have made friends with Fischl" Ayakas mother said smiling while holding his hands. "I agree son you have full permission to marry our daughter after all fate ties you together " The dad said as Ayaka hit him in the head with her fan. "Dad for one please stop bothering him, not only is that not on our minds he also isn't staying that long and secondly Kamisato weddings take 3 days for just the ceremony"
She said as the father snapped toward an attendant. A long white , blue, and gold wedding dress was brought out alongside a matching tuxedo. "We have been saving this for years making constant adjustments. We even have a place reserved as well as the choir and staff at the ready" The dad exclaimed, causing Ayaka and Anagi to be stunned. Fischl was getting annoyed before she cleared her throat signaling to the parents. "Excuse me but my companion can not partake of such rituals due to his eternal contract with me" She said as the parents nodded. "I understand I didn't mean to impose" They said with tears in their eyes as the mother shot up. "Sweetheart, we can't forget our plan b I presume they're the same size" She said as the father nodded snapping again. Another wedding dress was brought out that was purple and black. " When we heard about the traveller we decided to make a dress just in case Ayaka here caught your eye Lumine. However, we didn't know what you wore so we just made 45 different versions for you. You and the great Fischl seem to be the same size so why not take our daughter on as well we will of course pay for any expense" They said to Fischl and Lumine as Ayaka and Anangi looked on in disbelief . "U-um thank you for your grand hospitality, your dedication to this is well quite unique. However I must also bear the curse of loneliness and would never dream of passing it to your daughter"Fischl said blushing looking at the dress again imagining her wedding day.
"However I wouldn't mind trying it on, come now Anagi help your prinzessin show these great people how much we appreciate their offer" She said as Anagi blinked confused as to how they got to this point. Ayaka slowly and silently tried to leave the room before an attendant grabbed her and Anagi , dragging them to the dressing room. As this happened Lumine looked at Tohma who sighed in exasperation. "At it again I see, though the dress for Fischl looks awesome. Didn't know Anagi knew a princess his girlfriend is going to be pissed at him" He said to Lumine who looked at him dumbfounded. Lumine, Kazuha and Tohma sat down with the parents as they got five glasses of wine poured for them. "Now that we're alone I would like to hear about your great deeds. Plus Kazuha it's nice to see you again afterall you are a part of our daughters group. She doesn't have many friends so it was quite a pain when you left. All she did was cry and whine. However priority must go to our guest. I'm sure you understand. Oh I almost forgot Lumine , you may call me Sato and my wife here is Yara'' The burly man said as Lumine nodded. Kazuha bowed, taking the drink as Tohma gulped down his.
She decided that the information could start here and began telling them of some of her more unusual tales. She decided to keep venti and zhongli out of it as she wasn't sure how Baal and the two got along. "Wow a dragon must be so cool to ride one, does it breathe fire and shoot lightning from its hands " Tohma asked as Lumine shook her head amazed at the trusted bodyguard of the Kamisato house. Kazuha patted her shoulder looking her in the eyes indicating that it was not going to get better. As they talked Sato smiled and finished his second glass. "I'm surprised you haven't heard of us. We are the premier family of Inazuma afterall, that is besides Baal's" Lumine raised an eyebrow as Sato continued. "We have lasted through generations here helping the land prosper Alongside our great leader. Sadly as of late the land has been a bit on edge. Those damned Fatui keep running around causing issues for our citizens. If I saw one I would rip that damn delusion out of them. If it wasn't for that boy we be in better shape" He said getting a curious look from Lumine"What boy exactly" She asked as an Attended burst into the room "There ready for you sir" She said tears coming down her cheek her face having a look of bliss on it as they walked in. However, Fischl was the only one to walk in on her own accord as Anagi and Ayaka were dragged in by large men by their hands.
They looked very done up as well with Ayaka's hair in a nice bun and Anagi's gelled to the max. "Oh my Baal you all look amazing "Yara screamed out as Fischl smiled widely holding Anagi from one side with Ayaka reluctantly holding onto his other arm. Pictures were taken from all angles as Ayaka and Anagi looked at the two parents with death glares. "Well that's enough now right mother after all I would like to get them situated before showing them around."She said through closed teeth. Her mother nodded wiping her eyes before looking at Tohma and nodding. He stood and gestured for Lumine and Kazuha to follow. Ayaka quickly got herself and Fischl out of their dresses before catching up to the group with Anagi and his freshly washed hair right behind them. 'You all will be lodging in my quarters, if you are hungry simply ask the kitchen, if you need a guide Tohma here knows the city even better than me, and if you wish to meet with Baal well I can't help you but there is a certain Shrine maiden who can."She said as Anagi nodded. "Yeah I can talk and get us in her palace" Ayaka shot him a look before smiling and waving a letter to him "Actually Nagi your mother sent me a letter asking that you not go anywhere near Baal's residence so you and Fischl will be stuck with me during your stay. " She said as Anagi sighed remembering what his mom said about taking it into her own hands.
"Fine then just show me to my room " He said as Ayaka giggled. "See you and me will be sharing a room. We're best friends. I know your tricks plus it's been awhile since i've had a chance to speak to you" She said as Fishcl pouted. "Don't worry Fischl Anagi is like family to me, we bathed together, ate together, and slept together all the way up until we were 5. Unless he sees me as a women now" She said sliding her shoulder out her dress slightly. This earned a blank face and a thump from Anagi as she held her forehead. "I was joking was that necessary" She said as he smiled. "Yes, don't go giving this one ideas" He said, pointing to Fischl who had already thought of several scenarios she wasn't fond of. "That's fine I did promise her I would speak to the Archon of False pride"He said pouting. They made it to a Door that said Ayaka's quarters before opening it to a giant living space with multiple bedrooms and a door with a sign that read dojo. There was also a door that led to the outside at the opposite end of the dojo. "Ok Lumine and Fischl can take that door by my room ". She pointed to the door left of a large blue and gold door. "Kazuha and Tohma you can share that one " She pointed to the door on the other side Anagi went to the large door and opened it revealing Ayakas room. It was large with a huge king sized bed with swords scattered everywhere. Her room was painted gold to match the gold trim that every piece of furnish she had seemed to have.
They walked in to look around as Anagi set his bag down by the bed. Lumine saw a stash of books peeking from under her bed. When she picked one up it had a cover of a half naked samurai with the title 'the way of the blade'. Lumine was about to open it before Ayaka grabbed it and shoved it back under her bed with the rest, her face was bright red as The boys behind her snickered. "Wow Ayaka is stingy. You should just let her read one. It's not like you don't have 22 more volumes" Anagi said as she pulled out her sword."That is none of your business peasant" She said, throwing the blade at him. He dodged the blade as it got stuck in an already made gash in the wall. "Sorry Lady Ayaka for the boy's rudeness," Kazhua said as Anagi looked back at him. "Excuse me who you calling boy" He asked as they started to butt heads again. Tohma pushed them away from each other as a knock on the door was heard. Ayaka answered it to reveal a small girl with pink hair with thin wraps around her shoulders. "Ayaka I just got the new volume of 'the way of the blade' I even scored the uncensored version" She said as Ayaka screamed covering her mouth. The girl looked behind her to see the others.
The girl smiled, moving Ayaka out of the way before rushing over to Lumine and Fischl. "Well hello I see you brought friends, cute ones at that and you even convinced our boys to come back" She said smiling at Anagi and Kazhua who were hiding behind Tohma. "Um Hello Mimi, I see you're still as energetic as ever, did you find someone you like?" Kazhua asked as Mimi giggled. "A few yes but people are so weak these days I mean all I was asking for was 4 days a week to satisfy the beauty of Inazuma" She said as Paimon scratched her head."I mean that doesn't sound like a lot for partner to do" She said as Lumine had a realization causing her to grab paimon and whisper in her ear. "Oh...Ohhh that's insane" She said as Mimi stared at Paimon. "Well who are you?" She asked, smiling as Anagi grabbed her shoulder. " Mimi I know your taste has a wide variety but this is where I cross the line" He said, causing Mimi to spray him with water from her hand. "Oh shut up i'm not thinking that , she isn't my type I prefer a nice older person, someone who isn't afraid of love. Also preferably a witch with a love of books" She said as Anagi poked her in the eye. "Once again your not meeting my mother" He said as Fischl walked up to them.
"Excuse scurg of the night, how is it that you may use the blessings of the gods?" She said, pointing toward the hydro vision that laid on her chest. "Oh well of course that stupid vision hunt doesnt apply to people like me. I am the beauty of Inazuma afterall" She said posing . "This is Mimi, our friend and resident creep. Do not take a bath with her our change near her. Even if you think it's too early or late in the day her mind is always on one thing" She said as Mimi pouted. "I am a fair maiden who believes that love will be what changes the world . afterall I believe my beauty should be shared to the greatest people of tevyat." Anagi rolled his eyes as he laid on the bead. " Plus you shouldn't treat a guest like this after all i'll be staying the night " She said dropping her bag as Ayaka and Tohma sighed knowing it was the mother who had allowed this. " Fine but you're sleeping by yourself " She said as Mimi walked up to her. "Um no I am a fragile maiden who needs strong warriors to protect me. I mean were all ladies I could just stay with the great Fischl and Lumine '' She said, batting her eyes at them with a chill going down Fischl's spine.
"Mimi no you're not harassing our guest" Mimi nodded in understanding. "Fine I guess I will have to take my chances with the boys, I trust they won't try and take advantage of little ol' me" She said As Kazhua pulled out his sword as Tohma pointined his polearm at her. "Yeah we're not taking chances with you". Mimi smiled widely at Ayaka who looked back at Anagi. "Ayaka I love her like a sister but I am not sleeping anywhere near her'' He said as she sighed. "Tohma as my guard I trust you will keep Mimi safe" she said, mouthing a sorry to the two boys as Mimi smiled. "Now that that's settled we can go around the town there is so much Anagi has missed plus we need to get our guest some new clothes" Mimi exclaimed, dropping her bag and grabbing the two women before dragging them outside.
