Hi, here with the next chapter. Hope you enjoy it. This is M for Blood, Violence and Language and mild adult themes. This will be a POV of some of the characters in the clone wars. I do not own any of it.
The quadship of Jets skimmed through the clouds over the UK on approach to command at Heathrow international as the Clones and Ahsoka sat in the rear looking green, and swaying around in the back as Fives ripped off his oxygen masked and threw up in a sick bag as the others laughed down the radio,
"We are never doing this again" he shouted down the microphone as he tied his sick up,
"I'm not surprised we just pulled like 9 G " Daniels laughed at them as they closed into a long line wing to wing as they banked around.
Suddenly a huge black plume exploded outside the cockpit as it forced the squad to break formation as they began to dive through the clouds,
"Holy shit that was close was it AA?" asked Blackburn as the Jets started shuddering as the sky grew darker and darker, rain started to streak across the glass,
"Everyone prep for contact Oxygen on" Admas told the clones as they all strapped their face masks on, as suddenly the radio exploded in screams and cries for help as soon as they broke the clouds they were greeted by the devastation as the Droids had pushed all the way to Heathrow airport,
"Oh no" Blackburn said,
"They actually made it, what do we do?" Daniels horrified as they swept down and watched as tanks advanced down the south runway to meet the oncoming advance as sandbags and makeshift bunkers dotted the land, along with the charred wreckage of transports, Jets and Helicopters along the terminals aprons.
They could only hear the cries as they heard pilots being shot down as they saw a A-400M engine explode in a fireball and dropping from the sky as fighters were engaged in a vicious dog fight as multitudes of Aircraft buzzed round as droid fighters followed pulling unbelievably tight turns as for as far as the eye could see small fireballs lit up the rainy sky as Planes blew up and crashed,
"SCAR stay close to me watch ground fire, contact HQ we need to know if they are still there tell them it's Urgent" Adams shouted as more red Lasers and missiles shot past causing them to roll and swerve through the air,
"SCAR Leader do you copy" a crackly voice came over the radio,
"Sir this is Lt Adams we have a priority package and Information we need to land immediately do you copy sir?" he tried desperately,
"Lt there is nowhere to land we are being overrun, we need reinforcements to hold off the tinnies so we can evacuate civilians and command, we have an hour left to get to Terminal 2 over" the man over the radio told them as it went dead in their ears.
"Right we need to get down, let's move in," Adams ordered the rest of his squad as they all banked and began to dive down into the battle. The incoming shots increased as did the black smoke. They pulled out the dive and severed as a pair of droid fighters shot between the 4 of them,
"Woah those droids don't look happy" Ace shouted, as they doubled back and followed on their tail,
"Bandits 6 o'clock" Daniels reported as they began to open fire with red lasers shooting past their cockpits, but as the three SCAR pilots swerved the automated 4th Jet was having trouble as it tried its best but a bolt of heated plasma exploded into the rear igniting the engine as Rex watched,
"Guys i'm Hit!" Ace shouted as the Jet began to catch on fire the flames began spreading through the Jet reaching the fuel tanks as it exploded in a ball of flames,
"Shit we lost Ace!" Fives shouted as they watched the jet tumble down out of the sky impacting the ground seconds later as they flew past, leaving him to be swallowed by the battle, Ahoska watched from the rear as James skillfully dodged the the bolts as if he knew they would come, he then hit the air breaks and cut the engine as they shot back past the droids before starting up again and lining the two fighters up, he unleashed the 20mm cannon as it ripped through one of the fighters spinning out and smashing into the other as they both crashed into a hedge row,
"Woah nice shooting Lieutenant" Rex complimented him impressed the humans were managing to hold out against the droid fighters,
"Right Rex, Fives Ahsoka get ready we are going in, Daniels Blackburn tighten up we going for the terminal roof" a round of rodgers echoed round as they began their descent closer to the base, that was until a streak broke across the sky as a rocket was fired from a hail fire tank struck the left wing of James fighter as the cockpit filled with red flashing lights and alarms,
"Ahsoka Brace yourself i'm gonna set it down on the grass, as he fought the controls to keep the nose up the ground approached fast as he shut down his engines and gilded. The rear smashed into the grass first as they began skidding over the the grass creating a crater on the way as Ahsoka looked out she could see more humans in military uniforms running around to the front trying to avoid the plane crash as jeeps sped about, mud flicked over the top of the canopy and the whole jet violently shook as it buried its nose deep into the ground before grinding to a halt, flames had caught and illuminated the two as they sat in the dark the rain hammering against the canopy as the screens flickers on and off,
"Commander, James?" Ahsoka shouted but no reply as she pulled a oxygen mask off and unstrapped herself from her seat, she could see him through the gap in front, he was slumped against the console, she hit the button to open the canopy, hissing open it let her jump down a meter onto the soft ground as she turned and climbed up to the front of the jet over the mound of dirt, lifting James from the console she saw a cut over his eye, removing his helmet and mask, she slapped him gently whilst shouting his name,
"James, James Come on wake up snap out of it" she shouted down at him, the train began to streak his face as he flinched opening his eyes,
"Well that wasn't my best landing" he said jokingly as he unstrpped his harness and climbed out, he grabbed his weapon and jumped out as Ahsoka stood back,
"Come on let's move we need to get to the terminal" Jack told her as a explosion landed nearby,
"After you Commander" Ahsoka smiled as she followed his lead and began to run to the terminal doging overshot artillery.
