Chapter 6: Super Sonic .EXE
(On the rooftops of Station Square)
Sonic ran to the roof of one of the buildings that was still standing while running after Sonic .EXE.
Sonic- Where are you, faker?
Then Tails caught up to Sonic and landed next to him.
Tails- Sonic, you ok?
Sonic- I'm fine. But that creep has to be around here, somewhere. He can't hide from us forever.
Then Sonic .EXE appeared at the edge of the roof they were on and made that sadistic grin at them.
Sonic .EXE- Who said I'm hiding. I just figured I'd get us out of those giant monkeys' way while I deal with you. Keep up if you can, slowpokes!
Then Sonic .EXE runs down the building like Sonic does in the "Speed Highway" level in "Sonic Adventure." Sonic and Tails rush after him. But as they ran after Sonic .EXE, Sonic .EXE broke some of the windows on the way down. When Sonic noticed this, he made an attempt to move around the shattered windows.
- Time for some payback…
With Sonic moving slightly off course of his intended path, Sonic .EXE immediately ran back up the building and hit Sonic with a spin dash. Before Sonic could react, Sonic .EXE kicked Sonic in the chest and knocked him through one of the windows in the building. Sonic crashed through what looked like an empty office room and Sonic .EXE was standing directly above him.
Sonic .EXE- How does it feel to have your little trick used against you? I knew that if impeding my running path would leave me vulnerable for you to counter attack with your speed, that same thing would work on you.
Sonic- That's why lead me back down the building and broke some of those windows on the way?
Sonic .EXE- Yep. I'm smart like that.
Then Sonic .EXE moved his head to the left to avoid a laser Tails shot at him with his arm cannon from behind.
Sonic .EXE- And don't think I've forgotten about you, fox brat.
Sonic .EXE vanished with his speed and suddenly grabbed hold of Tails.
Sonic- Tails! Let him go!
Sonic rushed for Sonic .EXE, but he held Tails out like a shield.
Sonic .EXE- Another think I noticed is you care about your friends too much to see them get hurt.
Sonic- You ****ing…
Sonic .EXE- Do so much as sneeze and the fox loses his head.
But to Sonic .EXE's surprise, Diddy Kong got in close and kicked Sonic .EXE in the arm that was holding Tails, making him let go. But before Sonic .EXE could respond, Donkey Kong grabbed hold of him from behind and threw him against the wall.
Sonic .EXE- How is this…you beat that .EXE version of you already?!
Donkey Kong- Wasn't easy, but we did. And I wasn't going to let my teammate, Sonic, fight a monster like you by himself.
Tails- How did you get up here so fast?
Donkey Kong- I'm great at climbing up just about anything. Even large buildings.
Diddy Kong- It's true.
Sonic- Alright, time to end this now!
Then Sonic charged at with a spin dash and they both crashed right through the window. Both Sonic and crashed to the ground level below. While Sonic and were trying to get back to their feet, Tails flew back down and landed next to Sonic. Donkey Kong was having Diddy on his back as Diddy used his rocket pack to slow down their decent.
Tails- Sonic, you ok?
Sonic- I'm fine. But I don't think this faker will last much longer.
But then Sonic .EXE felt something, like a powerful force calling out to him. Then Sonic .EXE noticed that there were seven colorful stones scattering the ground between where him and Sonic landed.
Sonic .EXE- Now what do we have here?
Sonic- The Chaos Emeralds?!
Sonic .EXE- This power I'm sensing…it feels so…intoxicating…
Tails- Oh no!
Sonic- Stop!
Diddy Kong- Is this bad?
Donkey Kong- If that guy really is just like Sonic…
Then Sonic .EXE absorbed energy from the Chaos Emeralds and his body began to transform. Sonic .EXE was engulfed by a bright light and when it faded, Sonic .EXE looked like a demonic version of Super Sonic, but still with the black eyes with two glowing red dots and those razor-sharp looking teeth.
Super Sonic .EXE- Yes! This is the power I was talking about! I knew I was god here! And now I've harnessed a god's power! I can feel it…the power of the God of Chaos! HAHAHAHAHA!
Sonic- That power won't last.
Super Sonic .EXE- Huh…?
Sonic- That power was originally to a god named Chaos the Hedgehog. Although you have been given access to Chaos' god powers, there is a limit to how long you can maintain it before you change back. Even I have my limits to how long I can that power.
Super Sonic .EXE- Then I'll crush you all before my time runs out!
Sonic- We'll see about that! It's Super Sonic time!
Then Sonic absorbed energy from the Chaos Emeralds and turned into Super Sonic.
Super Sonic .EXE- There can be only one god and that will be me!
Super Sonic .EXE fired an energy beam at them and Super Sonic blocked with an energy beam of his own. Diddy Kong tried to hit Super Sonic .EXE from behind with a summersault kick, but Diddy Kong's leg ended up being hurt instead.
Diddy Kong- OWCH! It's like his body is made of steel!
Super Sonic .EXE- Against the power of a god, there is nothing you can do to even scratch me. Even the big ape's massive strength couldn't hurt me!
Donkey Kong- Wanna bet?
Then Donkey Kong swung his Monkey Punch at Super Sonic .EXE. At first, Super Sonic .EXE thought it wouldn't hurt him, but he ended up to be horribly wrong. Super Sonic .EXE was knocked into a building and blood was coming from the spot on his head where DK hit him.
Tails- WOW! You really are strong if you could harm someone powered up by the Chaos Emeralds!
Donkey Kong then held his hand in pain.
Donkey Kong- Maybe so…but I used so much force, it hurts me just as much.
Super Sonic- Still, that's very impressive, DK.
Then Super Sonic .EXE got back up and wiped the blood from his head.
Super Sonic .EXE- It appears I've underestimated you all! But this is getting more ****ing annoying than it should've been! I'm going to kill you all…RIGHT HERE AND NOW!
Super Sonic .EXE dashed and so did Super Sonic. The two collided with their spin dash and tried to push right through the other. However, Super Sonic .EXE managed to move around Super Sonic instead of pushing through and rammed into Tails with a spin dash. Tails got knocked a few feet away and Tails crashed through a car.
Super Sonic- Tails!
Super Sonic tried to rush for Tails to see if he was ok, but Super Sonic .EXE moved in his way and blocked his path.
Super Sonic .EXE- We're not done here…
Super Sonic .EXE kicked Super Sonic to the ground. But while he was distracted, Donkey Kong dropped both of his fists on top of Super Sonic .EXE's head and made him dropped to the ground.
Super Sonic .EXE- You pest!
Super Sonic .EXE charged with a spin dash and Donkey Kong countered with his Monkey Punch. Unfortunately, the force of the two attacks collided knocked Donkey Kong to the ground. Though Super Sonic .EXE was still holding his head in pain.
Super Sonic .EXE- Brainless monkey…
Suddenly, Diddy Kong grabbed Super Sonic .EXE from behind.
Super Sonic .EXE- You again? Don't you realize you can't hurt me while I'm powered up?
Diddy Kong- Well if I can't hurt you…I'll use something that can!
Then Diddy Kong strapped his barrel rocket pack onto Super Sonic .EXE and turned it on.
Super Sonic .EXE- What are you doing?!
Diddy Kong- On my way down that other building, I noticed there was an oil container on the roof of that building over there. Let's see if you can survive a collision with it!
Then Diddy Kong jumped off of Super Sonic .EXE's back as the barrel rocket pack took off and with Super Sonic .EXE was still strapped to it. Not long after, the barrel rocket pack caused Super Sonic .EXE to crash into the oil tanker on the roof on that one building and made a large explosion. However, a very pissed of Super Sonic .EXE survived the explosion and immediately rushed over and grabbed Diddy Kong by the neck.
Super Sonic .EXE- That really hurt…perhaps I should see how you like it!
But then Super Sonic hit Super Sonic .EXE with a spin dash and made him let go of Diddy.
Super Sonic .EXE- You're still able to stand?
Super Sonic- I told you I'm not going down to some faker!
Super Sonic .EXE was about to try and punch Super Sonic, but his wrest was grabbed by a very large monkey paw. Super Sonic .EXE turned around to see Donkey Kong was also back on his feet.
Donkey Kong- And I'm not going to lose to you either!
Then Donkey Kong threw Super Sonic .EXE into a wall and made his drop to the ground. For a split second, the gold shine flickered to blue on Super Sonic .EXE.
Super Sonic- It appears that the Chaos Emeralds' powers are starting to ware off on him.
Donkey Kong- But I'm close to my limit as well. I assume you are too, Sonic.
Super Sonic- You're right…we need to end this now!
Then Super Sonic began charging his energy for a light speed attack.
Super Sonic- Ready! Donkey Kong, not time to explain! Swing your Monkey Punch at me right now!
Super Sonic quickly went into ball form. Donkey Kong was confused at first, but he swung his Monkey Punch at Super Sonic and launched him at Super Sonic .EXE. The second Donkey Kong's punch struck him, Super Sonic unleashed the light speed attack while using the force from Donkey Kong's Monkey Punch to boost the light speed attack.
Super Sonic- GOOOOOOO!
After Super Sonic hit Super Sonic .EXE with that attack, there was a mushroom cloud explosion. When the smoke cleared, Super Sonic changed back to regular Sonic and he collapsed to the ground. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong rushed over to see if Sonic was ok. However, Sonic .EXE was still alive and struggling to get up.
Diddy Kong- You're kidding me! He survived even that?!
Sonic .EXE- I'm…not done yet…(groan)…I will never fall…I…am…GOD…
Suddenly, rainbow-colored energy struck Sonic .EXE from behind and completely turned him to dust. Then Donkey Kong, Sonic, and Diddy Kong saw Kyrin approaching them while his rainbow-colored wings were sprouted. But what surprised them more was Kyrin King K. Rool and Doctor Eggman by the ear in each of his hands.
Sonic- Kyrin…?
Kyrin- Sorry I'm late. Just had to bring these two along for the ride.
Kyrin then let go of K. Rool and Eggman and pushed them to the ground.
Eggman- What's the big idea pulling us here by our ears like that?!
King K. Rool- That is no way to treat a king!
Kyrin- And if my father finds out you two were responsible for this much bloodshed and destruction when you created those .EXE clones…I don't think he'll be happy.
Eggman and King K. Rool looked at what was left of Station Square and got appalled by carnage that was left. Then Snide and Mighty walked in and handed Eggman and K. Rool some nails, wooden planks, and hammers.
Mighty- So start working on the repairs.
Then Kyrin walked over to Sonic and used a healing spell to help him stand back on his feet again.
Sonic- Thanks for healing me, but can you help Tails too? He's still in that car after that faker knocked in into it.
(Tails' dream)
Tails opened his eyes and found himself in an area where it looked like you could see nothing but outer space from every angle you look at. Tails slowly lifted his head and sat up.
Tails- Where am I?
A voice similar to Tails- I wouldn't worry about that. Usually, they don't stay in this place for long.
Tails looked behind him and saw a young fox. He looked a lot like Tails did and appeared to be the same age as Tails. He even had two tails instead of one fox tail like Tails did.
Kyuubi- Hi.
Tails- What do you mean they don't stay for long?
Kyuubi- According to what Chaos and the others have told me, this is a dream world you've created while you've passed out. And you should be waking up any minute now.
Tails- Guess that means Sonic and DK beat that horrible monster…
Then Tails frowned a bit.
Tails- And I was unable to do anything at all…
Kyuubi- Don't look so down. I'm sure your friend need you…just as much as my friend, Chaos, needed me…
Tails- Chaos…the same hedgehog who…hang on! Just who are you?
Before that fox boy could answer, he burst into a bunch of lights.
(Back in Station Square)
Tails woke up and saw Sonic, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Kyrin surrounding him.
Tails- My head…
Sonic- You had me worried there, Tails.
Tails- Sonic…did we win?
Sonic- Was a struggle, but Sonic .EXE is no more.
Diddy Kong- Shame I sacrificed my barrel rocket pack and right after you guys fixed it for me.
Then Kyrin hands Diddy Kong what appeared to be his jetpack, but good as new.
Diddy Kong- Hang on…is this…
Kyrin- I built that thing for Dippy Kong during the time of the original Super Mario Brothers' Team. So, I know how to repair it. Just try not to break it again.
Diddy Kong- Thanks, Kyrin. But I can't wait to test this baby out!
Kyrin- I should probably use my healing magic on Knuckles, Amy, and the rest of your friends who got hurt in this while Eggman and K. Rool work on rebuilding Station Square. You mind taking me to them, Sonic?
Sonic- No problem.
The End
Epilogue-
(Donkey Kong's treehouse in Kongo Jungle)
Cranky Kong was cleaning all of the banana peels on the floor and was not looking happy.
Cranky Kong- When will that brainless oaf learn to clean up after himself?
But while he was walking past the Crystal Coconut, it began to light up.
Cranky Kong- Huh…? What's the Crystal Coconut doing now?
Then in the Crystal Coconut's reflection, it showed an image of Tabuu taking hold of Kyrin and reaching into Kyrin's chest.
Tabuu- It took longer than I would've like it to be, but at last…I'll finally get my revenge on the Mushroom Kingdom!
Kryin- No…Tabuu…you can't…
Tabuu- Shut up, Kyrin! I'm taking back what you and Marco took from me!
Then Tabuu pulled something out of Kyrin's body and it looked like some kind of energy. Then the image in the Crystal Coconut changes to Toad Town on fire with most of it demolished and Tabuu's minions overrunning the place. Then the image in the Crystal Coconut changed to everyone on the Super Mario Brothers' Team and everyone on Bowser's Team finding a sword placed in a grave in a forest somewhere.
Luigi- Mario, is that…
Mario- No mistake about it. This was the same sword he wielded.
Mario then pulls the sword out of the grave and a bright light is admitted from it. Then the image of the Crystal Coconut changes to Mario fighting Tabuu with that sword from earlier. But then Tabuu changes his body and Dimentio, Poke'mon Hunter J, Marx, and Hades seem terrified speechless at the sight of this. But Fawful approaches Tabuu.
Fawful- Master Tabuu…
Perfect Tabuu- But of course, Fawful. And as for you, Mario…you should be proud of yourself. The last person to push me to using 100% of my full power was your ancestor, Marco!
Then the image in the Crystal Coconut changes to Perfect Tabuu knocking the sword out of Mario's hands with a large sword of his own and about to strike at Mario while he had an opening. But then the sword Mario had moved on its own and blocked Tabuu's attack while a bright light shined near the sword and appeared to be taking form.
Perfect Tabuu- YOU?! It can't be…
Then than like showed a man who looked very similar to Mario holding that sword to block Tabuu's attack to protect Mario. Then the Crystal Coconut stopped showing this and the case closed around it again.
Cranky Kong- What the…what did I just see?! Was the Crystal Coconut showing a vision of the future again…?
