"I think we need to call in the team..." Tony said

Scene switched to a jet flying over New York and then landing on the Avengers tower

"Hey." Natasha said to Tony as she got off the jet and started to walk towards him "So..what did you call us all here for in such a hurry? They had to pick me up because I was talking with Fury. Are you and Pepper okay?"

"Yeah. We're fine." Tony replied

"Yeah. You are lucky. We just got off our mission." Clint stated as he got off the jet

"Yes. It was quite fun." Thor stated as him and Steve followed Natasha and Clint off of the jet

"So. What did you call us here for?" Steve asked as he walked up to Tony and Pepper

"Hopefully there isn't another alien army attacking." Clint said and everyone laughed

"No." Tony said as his smile turned into a frown "It's something worse."

Clint frowned "What." He asked

"What happened Tony?" Steve asked, looking at Tony's hand which was wrapped up

"Remember the Mandarin attacks?" Tony asked

"Yeah. And how everyone thought you were dead." Clint said

"Yeah...So, the Mandarin was actually an actor." Tony stated

"What?" Steve said, looking back up at him

"Yeah. All the attacks were actually being led by this guy named Aldrich Killian. And he also created something called Extremis." Tony exclaimed

"What's that?" Steve asked

"It's kind of like a virus that can regrow your limbs, make you a lot stronger and faster, and make you get really hot that you can basically burn through anything...like fire." Tony said slowly

"So. How many people did he infect with this virus." Natasha asked

"He injected a lot of people with Extremis. But we killed them all, including Aldrich Killian, but..."

"But what?" Steve asked

"Is there more?" Clint asked

"Kind of..." Tony said, looking down

"Well then let's go kill them all." Clint stated

"No there's... there's just one more person with Extremis..."

"Who? Where are they?" Clint asked but Tony didn't reply

"Tony. Who are they. We need to get them. They're dangerous." Steve stated

"We can't." Tony said

"Why?" Clint said "Why can't we just kill that one more person and then go?"

"Because..."

"Because why?!" Clint said again

"Because that person is Bruce!" Tony said and everyone was silent

"What..." Natasha said after a few moments

"Because that person is Bruce! He got injected with the virus!" Tony stated

"What?!" Clint said as they all stared at Tony who was looking down, away from them

"We found him after we killed Killian..." Pepper stated quietly "He was burning really bad...and he kept screaming..."

"Is he okay?" Natasha asked "Did anything happen."

"After Tony brought him here something did happen..." Pepper stated

"What? What happened?" Steve asked

"Look down at the city to see for yourself." Tony said and they all slowly turned and walked to the edge of the tower

"Oh my gosh..." Steve said as they looked down at New York City which was partially destroyed

"Did he..." Steve said

"Yeah..." Tony said in reply

"Where is he now?" Natasha asked after a couple moments

"He's in the tower." Tony stated

"Is he awake?" Clint asked

"I don't know." Tony replied

"Well then let's go see." Natasha said

Scene switched again to them all going down the elevator

"How did he get injected?" Clint asked

"I don't know." Tony replied "He must have gotten captured some how."

"Is he alright?" Natasha asked

"I don't know. He's been in a lot of pain and once he wakes up and finds out that the Hulk destroyed New York...I don't know what he'll do..."

"Do you know how to make a cure?" Steve asked

"Yeah, I think so but..it'll take time." Tony exclaimed and then the elevator doors opened "...Follow me."

Tony led them out of the elevator through the halls until they got to his room where he left Bruce

"He is really hot like fire." Steve said as they looked at Tony's bed which was completely burned black and on fire

"Uhh..." Tony shouted "Hold on."

Tony wnet down the hall to a box on the wall and pulled the fire extinguisher out of it

"You have a fire extinguisher?" Clint asked as Tony put out the fire on his bed

"Yeah." Tony said "Five on every floor."

"That's..."

"A lot." Tony said to Clint "I know. But it's New York so...you can never be to careful."

"Wait...so where's Bruce?" Natasha asked as Tony put the fire extinguisher down

"Oh..." Tony said "Jarvis? Where's Bruce?"

"I believe he is in the room three doors to your right." Jarvis stated and they turned and started slowly walking down the hallway

"Looks like he bumped against the wall a few times." Clint stated as he looked at the wall which had several dents and burns

"Yeah." Tony said as they approached the room Bruce was in

"Bruce? Buddy?" Tony said as he slowly pushed open the door

"Bruce?" Tony said as he looked at Bruce who was groaning in pain and gasping for air on the ground

"T-Tony." Bruce gasped, turning and looking at the Avengers with his glowing orangish greenish brown eyes
