Chapter 6
Obito scrambled out of his chair to offer it up to the woman standing next to the table. He gave her a big smile. His happiness flowing out everywhere. Everyone turned their attention to her. She smiled and nodded. Her eyes looked at everyone, but lingered at Kakashi. The atmosphere became a little weird.
Tenten felt something was off. No one spoke, even to introduce them. She observed the group. Obito was still smiling foolishly. Yamato was checking out his beer like it was the most fascinating thing ever and Genma kept his eyes on Ino, but occasionally snuck glances at Obito, Rin, and Kakashi. Finally she found her boss's eye watching her watching everyone. Something was definitely wrong here.
"Hi, I'm Tenten and this is Ino."
"I'm Rin." Silence again.
"Nice to meet you. I work for Kakashi-San. Are you also their classmate?."
"Yes, that was a while ago though. How is it working for Kakashi-kun?"
"He's a great boss! Although, he'd be better if he gave me a raise." That earned her a knock to the head.
"Ow"
"You better be glad I don't dock your pay."
"Meanie!" She stuck her tongue out. He raised his hand again at the ready to strike. She retreated, noticing that now there were five pairs of eyes scrutinizing them. A blush rose onto her cheeks.
"...um...looks like a class reunion...um Ino and I should head out first." Tenten gave her a friend a knowing look.
"Yes, you guys catch up. We'll leave first. Nice meeting everyone." Ino smiled and did a little bow before winking at Genma.
"I'll walk you out." Genma stated as he stood up with them.

"New boy toy?" Tenten asked now that it's just the two of them.
"Maybe...he's a smooth one though. Gotta be careful."
"Are you sure it's not the other way around?"
"Hahaha we'll see."
"When are you seeing him again?"
"In two days..."
"Where to?"
"Haven't decided."
"Think you'll invite him to the summer festival in two weeks?"
"Hmmm...probably not...I don't know...would you?"
"Oh, um, if everything goes well then sure. You can even double with Sakura and Naruto."
"No, thanks! When I've been around them lately, all they do is suck each other's faces. It's like bunnies in heat."
"Hahaha Naruto is making up on lost time."
"So, what was up earlier? Something between you and your boss?"
"Huh?! Nothing of the sort. Just felt weird when Rin showed up..."
"Yeah, I noticed. Some sort of history there."

Hinata stretched her arms up to loosen the muscles. She has been sitting and writing for too long, but as least the project will be over soon.
"Sasakue-kun, are you going to the festival?"
"What festival?"
"The summer one in two weeks."
"Don't know. Are you?"
"Uh huh. A bunch of us are meeting there. You should come too."
"En"
"Is that a 'yes'?"
"I feel like nothing good comes out of going places with you." She giggled at this, remembering dinner last time.
"Ok, I won't ask any more."
"...that's..."
"Hm?"
"..."
"..."
"Ok..."
"I'll text you the details!" She triumphantly smiled. "So...I'll see you at the next banquet as well?"
"Over. My. Dead. Body."

Hinata: I was planning to wear one...
Ino: Not sexy enough!
Tenten: I don't think I even own one.
Hinata: You can borrow one of mine.
Tenten: Thx! I'll look like a flower of youth!
Sakura: Alright, I'm wearing one! You wear one too, Ino!
Ino: No way! My figure will be hidden.
Tenten: Your figure can't be hidden...I'm afraid one of your girls will pop out.
Ino: Hinata's girls never comes out!

Hinata: let's not fight. What time can everyone meet?
Tenten: After 8 for me. Got work.

Sakura: 7 is good for me too.
Hinata: Ok, 7 it is and Tenten can join us after.
