Hello, guys. As I promised, here is this story's epilogue.

Enjoy.

I can't believe I have come this far.

Not so long ago, I wasn't feeling very well. Actually, I was feeling horrible, to say the least.

And now... it's almost like that never even happened.

I do have to say "almost", though. I can't just pretend like that wasn't a major part of my life.

I still think about Cosmo sometimes.

And yes, I still sometimes wish she was still here. There are still occasions where I just sit and hold her seed in my hand.

But, unlike what would come from it some time ago, it no longer stops me from doing anything productive.

It's been six months since the last night I cried myself to sleep.

So I do think I've kind of moved on.

I even began building a plane of my own.

Speaking of planes...

The other day I met this really cool hedgehog. His name is Sonic. I heard he managed to defeat some human guy named Eggman.

It's actually a really funny story how we met. I was travelling around, just out of leisure, with the Sea Fox transformation of my remote robot (where I now keep the seed to keep it safe), and I arrived to Westside Island. I was having a really good time and everything, until I heard a plane crash. I ran to where I had heard the crash from, and I saw him contemplate the damage.

No one else was around, so I offered to help fix his plane, which, probably in a desperate move, he accepted. He began explaining to me how he was pursued to fight this Eggman guy if he wanted to save his island.

And to both our shock, less than 24 hours later - a guy with the exact same traits like Sonic told me about Eggman showed up on Westside Island!

Sonic and I did not waste any time. We both went on to do everything to save this island as well.

I followed everything he did. Well, for the most part.

He was a little freaked out when he saw me flying.

But anyway, after we escaped Metropolis, we came back to my Sea Fox. The thing is, Eggman had used one of his numerous machines to fly away. To this Wing Fortress... a base in the sky... (I know...) So we went to the Sea Fox, so I can pick up a few more tools to fix all the remaining issues on his plane.

And when I came back with the tools, I saw Sonic hold the seed in his hand.

And I don't blame him. He had no clue what importance it could've possibly had to me.

But I still freaked out.

"Hey, don't touch that!" I yelled, immediately grabbing the seed out of his hand.

He just looked at me for a few seconds, in a little confusion, and then he said: "Okay."

I felt relieved he didn't question it.

Right now, we're in the middle of the sky. I'm flying the plane that Sonic had come with, while he's standing on top of it.

But before any danger in the sky actually came towards us, I guess curiosity got the better of Sonic.

"Hey, Tails..."

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Hope I'm not too insensitive here..." he said, to which I could tell where he was going, "...but about that seed..."

"Yeah?" I said again.

"Have you considered... oh, I don't know... planting it?"

And I'm gonna be fully honest - I haven't.

That actually didn't cross my mind at all.

And yet it made a lot of sense.

"No..." I shyly responded.

Sonic, again, reacted with sheer confusion.

"Well, after we're done with this," he said, pointing to the Wing Fortress far ahead, "I think you should."

I then thought about it too.

"I will," I said.

And as soon as we're done fighting this Eggman guy, I will.

I will plant that seed, see what it turns into.

I think Cosmo deserves that.

THE END

And that completes "St. Animosity". I hope you liked it. If you did, please leave reviews. See you.
