Chapter 6

"I think..they are gone" whispered Tristan. Letting him up, Lily stayed behind him as Tristan cracked open the door and poked his head out looking around. "It's clear" he said after a minute. Opening the door, they both crawled out and walked into the living room where it was completely destroyed. They saw bullet shells everywhere , a broken window, places in the house where the bullets landed, droplets of blood, torn apart couch and broken lamp. What got Tristan's attention were the two darts lying on the ground. Squatting down, he picked one up.

"Iss that a what got them?" asked Lily still shook up. "Yeah, those assholes freaking darted them cause they knew Lucy and Layla would never go willing" he fisted his hand in anger. "Who do you think took them?" she asked as Tristan turned his head giving her a glowering expression. "Who do you think! , that jerk we have been hiding from. Your father!" he yelled turning his head back around. He glared at the dart and stood up. "We need to call Gray!" said Lily going to grab her phone.

Running she grabbed her phone out of her room and came back down. Both of them breathing rapidly, she took her phone and dialed his number putting it on speaker. " What we need to do is figure out what they are going to do about the mafia attacking Natsu's mafia, not everything else" thought Gray irritated when he heard his phone going off. "Lily? Why's she calling" he muttered giving Natsu a signal he'd be right back before he got up and walked away answering.

"Lily?. What's up?" he answered into the phone when Lily and Tristan exploded on him. "Woah, woah. Slow down. I can't understand you guys" said Gray. "What's up?" asked Natsu who had come to see who was calling.

"It's Lily, and Tristan, I can't understand what they are saying" Taking the phone immediately, he said blunt "Natsu here, what's up Lily?" Gray watched Natsu's face turn into a stone-cold expression as he hung up. Jellal, Sting and Rogue had come as well to see what was up. Tossing the phone to Gray, they saw Natsu's face making them alert. "Natsu, what's wrong?" asked Sting.

"Gray, Jellal we are leaving" he said flatly walking towards the door. "Natsu! Wait what's wrong" yelled Rogue. Turning he gave them a chill to the bone expression. "Lucy and Layla were taken. You two, let's go" he ordered turning back around and continued to walk. "What the hell..was that?" said Rogue. "You don't want to know" answered Gray. Jellal and Gray ran to catch up to Natsu. "Call us" yelled Sting from behind them.

Jumping into the car, neither of them said a word to Natsu who slammed on the gas furiously and began making tracks back to Magnolia. For fear of being lashed out at, they remained silent during the ride. "While we were gone, god damn it" Gray thought gripping the belt tight.

"I knew we shouldn't have gone" Jellal thought regretfully. Once they got to the house, Natsu threw the door open to Lily and Tristan sitting in the middle of the floor where Tristan handed Natsu the darts. Holding them up to his nose, he smelled the traces of the knockout drug. "Is this.." Lily and Tristan nodded their heads. Growling he crushed them in his hands.

"Are you two okay?" Jellal asked concerned. "We, we weren't touched. Bbefore they came in…Lucy ttold us to hide" cried Lily. "Ssshe..saww themm and prot..ttected us..Thhhey weren't even interested ..in us" said Tristan, his voice hoarse. "Did you guys by chance see who it was? I know you're in shock right now .It's okay if you didn't , just anything that u might remember would help." Said Gray understanding and kind.

Lily and Tristan looked at each other then at them. "What?" asked Jellal. Sniffling and shaking Lily said " It www..wwass a ttall mman, with a sscar ddown his left eye. He's the one thaatt ordered themmmm… once they were knocked out!" She broke to her knees as she uncontrollably cried. Putting his head down where his hair covered his face, in a dark and cold voice ,Natsu said "I know exactly who that is He works for the fallen halo mafia." Gray and Jellal eyed his fists shaking.

"Natsu" Jellal said very wary. Raising his head up, he bellowed to the ceiling and flew into a blind rage. "KILL THEM ALL! GO FIND THEM, ALL OF THEM KILL THEM! I'LL KILLL THEM" Gray and Jellal grabbed his arms holding him back before he could fly out the door. " THEY WILL DIEEEEEEEEE ,AHHHHHHHHHH" "Natsu!, stop man! This is crazy" urged Gray who was struggling holding him back.

"You guys get back!" Jellal yelled to Tristan and Lily who stood frozen in fear looking at the monster Natsu had become. "Is this even End right now Jellal?" asked Gray. "No, ahh, nnnnNatsu is beyond anythh right now" said Jellal as Natsu began raging as saliva foamed at the corners of his mouth. "I ORDER YOU TO LET ME GO!" he screamed. They held tight but were conflicted.

"You can't disobey me. I gave a direct order!" Not having another choice, thinking the same thing, Gray held his arms as Jellal gave Natsu a swift hard double punches to the face knocking him out. Breathing heavily, they put their hands on their knees. "Jeeze if he had pushed a bit more, we would be on the ground right now Jellal…you know that right" Gray said aware and it scared him.

"You don't have to tell me that, I am fully aware.. come on we better strap him up before he wakes up" "Huh?" "Gray, you know as well as I do the second he wakes up, if he isn't tied up, he will go right out that door and probably get himself killed."

"Right" he said helping Jellal pick up Natsu. "Man is he heavy" "Pure muscle will do that" "Ha very funny Jellal" joked Gray as they sat him down in a chair. Finding some rope, they tied and gagged him. "You really think that's going to hold him?" Gray said skeptically. "Probably not for long but hopefully long enough for his senses to come back" answered Jellal.

"You don't sound so sure about that" "I'm not but we need Natsu to have a clear head before we do anything" "Poor Natsu" said Tristan and Lily sadly. "He's not the one to feel sorry for, pity the man, your father" "He's not my father anymore..I want nothing to do with him" she said with venom" Jellal came and put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, you won't. Once Natsu is unleashed , nothing will stop him" he assured her.

Feeling being thrown into a room; bags were lifted off Lucy and Layla's heads then the guards left. Groggily, Lucy sat up and rubbed the back of her head. "where the hell..Layla!" she crawled over to Layla quickly and put her head in her lap. "Layla…wake up baby" she said gently patting her cheek. Stirring some, she opened her eyes. " Mom?" her vision still fuzzy and out of focus. "Yes baby girl, it's me" Blinking a couple times, Lucy's face came into her sight.

"Mom!" she yelled squeezing Lucy tightly. "I'm right here" she said rubbing her back. "Where..where are we?" "That's a good question" "Do you know who grabbed us?" "I have a feeling, but I can tell you that they will regret it" she said hard, showing no sign of fear. "Ddddadd.. he doesn't even know" "Don't worry Layla. Knowing your father, he's probably already been told what's going on thanks to Tristan and Lily. He will find a way to rescue and get us out of here."

"But…where is here?" she asked scared. Looking around she saw they were in a cell, with two sets of chains which didn't make it any less terrifying for her since the only light in it was a few candles. They were completely surrounded by cement with no window in sight. "Don't worry Layla" said Lucy sensing her fear. "I won't let anything happen to you. I am your mother, and nothing will touch you while I'm still breathing" she vowed. Hearing her mother's conviction gave her some confidence. "I know mom, thank you" "They took my gun so that's out unfortunately, but I still have my fists" making Layla giggle hearing her mom's tough voice but she knew when Lucy wasn't joking.

A door opened getting their attention as Lucy looked attentively at the doorway keeping Layla in her lap. "Hello ladies, my name is James Dorsey" "You're the leader of the Fallen Halo mafia aren't you?" she said knowingly glaring at him. "Yes, I am" "You made a big mistake taking us. Just wait. You'll see just how much." "I am aware Mrs. Dragneel that your husband is one of the strongest men in Magnolia" "Then you know you won't get any mercy from him once he gets here" she said with a smug smile.

"He doesn't even know where here is, Mrs. Dragneel. But don't worry, Once I offer him something that he cant refuse, he will hand it over" "Hand over what, the mafia? No way in fucking hell. In your dreams pal. There's nothing you can offer him that will make him hand over the mafia."

"Oh, I wouldn't say that just yet" he boasted with an sneer grin. "What's that supposed to mean!, tell me" she demanded. "You will find out soon, rest assured, once its ready. Get comfortable, you're going to be here for a while" he said walking back out and closing door. "Mom?..what do you think he meant? What does he have that will make dad hand over the mafia?" Putting a hand on her head, she said "I don't know baby girl…I wish I did."

Waking up, he threw his head back and immediately started yelling through his gag. "Easy Natsu" urged Gray who came up in front of him. Shooting Gray, a dirty look, he yelled incoherently. "Forget it Gray, , we knew this was going to happen" said Jellal. "Natsu" he said sternly. Turning his head to him, in a confident clear tone he said "Natsu, you need to calm down. That's the only way your going to get out of those binds" Feeling the ropes, he yanked hard trying to break them but to no avail. "You remember who I'm married too right?. No way was she letting me into the mafia without knowing how to tie someone up." He looked at Jellal with a wild-eyed anger. "Natsu, stop,. The sooner you calm down, the sooner you can get untied"

"Hey is Natsu aw" "Stay back guys" commanded Jellal waving his hand at Tristan and Lily. Looking at them, his expression changed surprising Gray and Jellal for it wasn't anger he showed at the kids but sadness and regret. "Natsu…." Sighing, Jellal ran his hand over his face. "I'm probably going to regret this" he thought dreadfully as he said "Gray..untie him." "You sure you want to do that?" "Just do it" Obeying, he went behind and untied Natsu's hands and gag as the gag fell from his mouth onto the floor.

"Nat" Gray started but was interrupted by Natsu slamming his fist into his chin bringing Gray up off the floor and back down. "Gray!" yelled Tristan and Lily running over to him. "He's knocked out Lily, that's all" he assured checking Gray's pulse. Getting ready to say something, Jellal stopped once Natsu looked at him with eerie dark glare. "Stay here" he said coldly. "y,yes sir" he stuttered slightly. "Was that E…end Jellal?" asked Tristan. "That was both of them…they are on the same mind thought right now. Stay away from him for now." Warned Jellal. They nodded understanding.

"Sting" "Natsu, hey what's wrong?" he said worried. "Your niece and sister in law has been kidnapped" "What do you need us to do?" he asked dropping the worry and becoming serious. "Meet me at my base. I'll tell you what's going on" "Got it, see you there" he said straightforward hanging up.

Getting into his car, he drove off leaving Jellal and the other two afraid for what he was going to do. Sting and Rogue showed up soon after getting the phone call to see Natsu leaning against his car waiting for them. "Hey" said Rogue but Natsu gave no answer. Instead he walked to the front door and unlocked letting them all in. "Natsu, your freaking me out man, talk to us. What the hell is going on?" "It's Fallen Halo."

"Huh? that new mafia? I thought they just got here a few months back." "They did and that bastard wanted my mafia" "What? Why did he want the Magnolia Mafia?" "Because it's the strongest mafia around. Smug asshole has already made one move.." he stopped looking down.

" A move? Like he's attacked once already?" "Not physically. No he underhanded and took the cowards approach and attacked one of my people instead" "Who did he attack?" They saw anger flash in his eyes when he answered "Erza. They set her up and ambushed her. She's in the hospital in a coma." "That explains why she wasn't at the meeting" noticed Sting. "Yeah, I wondered why Gray and Rogue were there cause I knew Erza was your next in command" said Rogue. "Hmph, yeah. Well now he's taken my family" "How the hell did he know where you lived?. You don't tell anyone that" "I don't have time to tell you the whole thing, so I'll give you the short story" he said frank.

"That fucking bastard" growled Sting balling his hands into a fist punching it at a wall. "Now you guys know, let's go" "Where are we going?" "Back to the house" he said nothing else walking back out the door. Sting and Rogue followed right behind. "You guys still don't where his mafia is?" Sting asked in confusion.

"Nope we haven't found a damn thing" he muttered. "This guy just pisses me off. Taking my niece." "Sting" Rogue warned looking at Natsu's body language. He could see it wouldn't take much for Natsu to lose it and begin punching as he got into his car and headed for the house. "He's terrifying right now and that's saying something" "Come on Rogue, last thing we want is him pissed off at us for not keeping up" he said quickly getting to their car. Speeding up, they were right behind him. "Lucy, Layla. Hold on you two. I'm coming for you, I promise"
