back again i know i took awhile to write my last chapter but i was super busy with family stuff sorry any way on with the story i guess
Out the door they went with a confused Child and her very confused mother "What do you mean we have to find her ? "Claudia asked perplexed
"We have to find H.G because she has the Janus Coin and she's the one who can bring back your memories "Steve said next to her "Yes what Steve said , its really simple we just have to find a time traveler to fix your memories so you can be back to the sassy tech genius we know and love " Said Pete Myka smacked him in the arm "not that we don't love you Claudia but its just really weird without you knowing any of us "She clarified "It doesn't matter which one we love more , we just have to find out were she's been the last 5 years "Artie grumbled "Now who's going with me in my car , the rest can go with Pete and Myka" he said looking at the four agents and child "Well i can go with Pete and Myka and Steve and Olivia can go with Artie , so you guys can catch up with her "Claudia said moving the Car seat to his convertible "Wait , i don't want a child in my car i can barely have Pete in my car , why can't you and Steve come with me and the child go with them?" Artie complained "Now wait you want me and my kid , but you don't want to take to her back to wherever you guys are from? , i would say you are acting like a child but you are clearly a million years old , why don't i just stay here while you guys find Helena ? " Claudia said with anger in her voice
"Artie you made her mad , you know better than anyone else that an Angry Claudia is bad news , especially since her connection with the Warehouse "Myka chided "Ok fine i will take Olivia with me but Steve goes with you i can't have him bothering me while i have a very important child in my care "Artie said
"There you go old man , not that hard was it , Lets go Jinksy we have a place to get to "Claudia joked , it always amazed everyone how quickly Claudia could change emotions at the drop of a hat "Alright lets go before we miss South Dakota any longer than we have "Pete smiled "Wait you guys live in South Dakota ?"Claudia remarked "i dated a guy from south Dakota once " with that they all burst out laughing "Ok Olivia we have to go now get in the car with Grandpa Artie "Myka said while getting in her own car "Yea come on ..wait Myka what did you call me ?"Artie screamed just as they drove off
"Well Grumpa Artie , i think you are awesome , just like a real grandpa "Said Olivia "Well thank you dear , now in the car we go , long journey ahead and if you get hurt your mother will kill me "Artie told her
Some hours later at the B & B Artie and Olivia got there first with Pete and Myka a little bit behind
"Artie why did you leave like that without even telling me where you went just a note 'leena im checking something be back when im back' you know Claudia told me to look after you "Leena said , bringing up Claudia was the only way to get Artie to do anything other than look for her "Sorry Leena , i was kinda distracted by something but would you mind going to the living room , i have someone i would like you to meet "Artie said as nice as possible "Sure why not "She replied as she waited in the living room she could hear Artie whisper "you have to be nice to her , no you can not just whisper , ok your mother will be here soon , i just want you to meet her ok? " To somebody that she couldn't see , then she watched Artie walk into the room very funny with something behind him "Is this person real? or are you seeing things again?" She meant to be sarcastic but then she heard a chorus of children laughter "That was funny , i like her Grumpa "Said a small voice behind Artie "Artie ?did you kidnap a child?" Leena asked "What no , i have her mothers consent don't worry , anyway "He said moving to the side to reveal a small child , with long-ish brown hair a small jean jacket and purple shirt on and converse , a mix of red and blue in her Aura , a small version of Claudia "this is Olivia Faith Wiesfelt , Or to be more known by -"But he was interrupted by the front door opening loudly "Artie if you took her to this Warehouse im going to kill you "Came a very angry but familiar voice just as Leena had stood up and Woman came running into the room and enveloping the child into a hug as the woman stood up Leena could get a closer look , she had Red-ish brown hair that had a purple streak in it that went to her shoulders a jean jacket much like the childs a pair of jeans with rips in them and beat up Converse , but her face and Aura is what made Leena sit back down it was her Claudia , the same one who vanished 5 years ago "Oh hello you must Be Leena , Pete told me all about you and how you can see Aura's, umm i'm-"She said but was interrupted "Claudia i can't believe it your back?" Leena said
"Actually Leena she's not the same Claudia you know , at least not yet , she used the Janus coin and gave it to HG Wells , along with her memories now we just have to find her "Myka explained as she took Olivia by the hand and led her to the couch "And until we can find HG we have to keep an eye on Claudia and Olivia so we know what's happening to them and we will all take turns watching them " she finished "Wait i don't need a babysitter , i cna stay here and watch my daughter myself so supervisor needed "Claudia said "Ok , do you know where the Kitchen is?" Pete asked "Yea its right through that door "She said "Ok how'd you know that?" he asked
"Well that is easy , i look into this place while you guys weren't looking , and up stairs Myka and Pete's room are across from each other , Leena sleeps down stairs and I slept in the Attic i can't remember where Steve sleeps "Claudia murmured to herself "What about Grumpa? Mama where does he sleep ?"Asked Olivia from her spot on the couch next to Leena and Myka "He sleeps at the warehouse sweetheart , either way i don't need a babysitter , i can help you find her , Olivia can come with us "Claudia finished "No , i do not want the child in the warehouse , its bad enough she started calling me Grandpa , which might i add will earn you 2 weeks of inventory for that Pete. Myka " Artie Grumbled "I was going to ask why no one was Remarking on that "Leena spoke up
"So , if Grumpa isn't mama's dad , where is he?" Olivia asked "Well you see, He did die , but Artie Adopted Claudia right before she left so he is your Grumpa "Pete told her just as Steve came down the stairs "Ok Claud your room has been cleaned and set up for two people " He said looking around "i can take you two up there and show you around if you like" everyone was silent until "Yes please i have no clue where anything is "Claudia said "Come on Olivia lets go see our room" She said holding her hand out for Olivia to take "ok , come on "Olivia said as she took her mothers and Steve's hands and started walking up the stairs "She just said she knew where everything was and didn't need a babysitter "Pete said clearly amused "well she does like Steve so maybe she was just saying that for talk or she was playing dumb with Steve "Myka reasoned
"Yea no , she knows what she's talking about "Artie said "Steve , we're going to the Warehouse now , keep an eye on her " he yelled up the stairs
Back with Steve and Claudia
Steve heard Artie yell and caught up with Olivia and Claudia
"Alright so , we didn't have that much reason to go in here so it was left alone for awhile "Steve said from the door "And i gathered as much children toys as i could "Olivia was already playing with some toys on the floor as Claudia looked around , as she picked up the Civil War picture they took together "So you and me , how close were we ? "She asked , this prompted Steve to go into the room "Well we were the bestest of friends and never went anywhere without the other , well except when i was on the Metronome i didn't want you to get hurt so i stayed at the Warehouse and You went out with Everyone else "he told her while watching Olivia play with a stuffed bear "Wait , what about a metronome ? why would that hurt me and stop you ?Claudia asked also watching Olivia "Well , you see i kinda died and you brought me back to life with a Metronome that allows the dead to come back to life and feel no pain , but the person who brings them back can feel all their pain "Steve explained as Olivia got up and sat down between the two "if you are my daddy does that mean you and mommy are married" Olivia asked
"Well , why don't you ask your father? i don't really have that memory "Claudia said looking at Steve "no , Honey , Me and your Mama aren't Married ,maybe when she gets her memory back , we might get married but i wouldn't count on it sweetheart "Steve said as he watched Claudia get up and leave "Stay here while I go talk to your mama ok?" He said as he got up and followed Claudia out into the hall
"Claud ? are you ok? "He asked with concern in his voice as he came across a crying Claudia
"Yea , its just ...too much you know , i had this semi-perfect life , an amazing daughter a good job and now you guys are here , pulling up everything , saying that when i get my memory back i will be the same , but what if om not? what if i forget the last 5 years? forget my daughter , what if it doesn't work and i stay the same ? and you guys don't like me anymore" She asked "i need you to watch Olivia for a little while i need some air " She said before running down the stairs and out the door
Steve watched her run down the stairs" Claud, wait you need to sta-"But was cut off by the door slamming "Where'd mommy go? "Asked Olivia from the door "Mommy went for a walk, Lets get you something to eat and call Grumpa Artie "Steve said picking up the little girl and going down the stairs carefully
After getting Olivia a PB&J he called Artie on the Farnsworth
"What do you mean you lost her? , she's a grown woman and i told you to watch her "Artie screamed "and you lost her , please tell me you at least know where Olivia is? "
"Yes Artie i know where Olivia is , and Claudia ran out the door while i was watching Olivia so i didn't see it" He lied "LIE" Olivia yelled from the counter
"So you were lying to me? about what ?"Artie grumbled "What nothing i wasn't lying "Steve tried "Still Lying" Olivia shouted "Whos side are you on?" Steve asked "Justice's side , i just want my mama back "Oliva joked
"give the Farnsworth to Olivia Steve" Artie told him "Wha..but-"He started " Now Steve "Artie shouted
"Fine , here " He said giving it to Olivia " Hi Grumpa Artie , what are you up too?" She asked
"Hi sweetpea , we are looking for an old friend , do you know where Mommy went? "He asked
"Mommy said she needed to go for a walk and then left then i got a PB&J "The child giggled "Ok , Well i want you to know that i love you and i will be there to watch you soon" Artie said "Give the Farnsworth back to Steve " Olivia Nodded and gave it back to Steve "What do you mean your coming to watch her? "Steve asked
"I mean you have a Claudia to find and Leena is with Myka and Pete so im coming over to watch Olivia" he said getting up "and don't you fill her with sugar , or i will kill you "He Finished
well that took longer than expected , im sorry , if you were reading this and stopped cause i took so long i was about to finish it yesterday but i hit the refresh button one to many times and got mad , stay cool my readers , peace out -yourmagesty
