And here we are with a new chapter, i will make updates now twice a week so the chapters can be a little longer. This chapter brings some interesting development about Emiya skills. Enjoy!
"Come on greenie, show us!"Mei demanded, now that he could use his quirk she needed to see what she could build to help him.
"Yeah Icchan, we want to see, maybe now we can fight each other to train?" Katsumi couldn't wait to spar with Izuku.
"Izuku is not good to let a lady waiting, and you are making three wait!" Melissa was smiling, not wasting an opportunity to tease her friend.
"I want to see it before Christmas man!" Neito wanted to see how he do it so he can start training copy his power.
The four came early that morning after discovering that he could now use his power, but Izuku was nervous to use it in front of them." O-Okay! I will do it" He then made like before and closed his eyes and took a deep breath."Trace on!" Then Kanshou and Bakuya were at his hands.
"Dude that's so cool, you said they are "married" twin blades? How that work?" Mei was already planning to study the weapons with a big smile on her face.
"They are called "married" twin swords because no matter how far you throw one, it will always come back to stay together with the other." Izuku threw Kanchou and they see the sword coming back after a few seconds to his hand."See?"
"Dude, this is so cool, is like the swords have a quirk!" Neito was impressed by what he saw."How they can do that? What is the story?" Now everyone was curious too, a weapon with a quirk is something they never heard before.
"The king one day asked for an imperial sword, the blacksmith Kanshou was frustrated because the swords he made didn't have a purpose, they weren't made for any reason. Then his wife Bakuya decided to offer her soul to enchant the swords, he only offered the black sword to the king that was furious about the deception, and ordered the soldiers to kill him." Izuku finished his explanation and could see the sad faces of his friends"W-what?"
"So his soul probably is on the black sword and his wife's soul is in the white sword."Melissa was a little sad about the story behind the weapons." That explains why you said they are "married", the love they feel for each other will always make them reunite."
"Damn Icchan, that was dark." Katsumi was surprised by such a story, she wouldn't admit, but she loved romance as much as any girl and this story is as sad as romantic.
"A-Anyway, let's train. My father told me some things we could do while our parents are working." He then takes the list in his pocket."I have to try to project other things now, and try to duplicate those things that dad gave to me, he even got an old PS5 so I could repair and we could play." They then look at the box full of parts of broken electro domestics but Katsumi's eyes were on the PS5.
"Kacchan must use her quirk to try to make explosions nonstop to build resistance on her arms." He then looks at her and she just smiles.
"Okay, but i want that console repaired so we can play later." She then goes away from the group so she doesn't risk hurting anyone.
"Neito can try to copy Kacchan's quirk and do the same so he can build resistance and increase the time he can keep a quirk" He then go and touch Katsumi's shoulder and start training.
"Melissa must make push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, and squats. 30 of each for as many times as you can." She was worried about the amount of exercise she has to do, but she won't give up, then she went to start with the push-ups.
"Mei, dad said it could be good for you to practice to see if you can aim like your mom. So he said that you should use this bow to try to hit the targets, each time you hit, you must use a smaller target." She nodded and grabbed the bow so she can start to train too.
They trained for some hours until they were hungry and went to lunch, Inko made it before going to work."So Izuku, did you manage to make progress duplicating the parts?" Neito looks at his friend, curious about how the training is going.
"Yeah, i duplicated the parts, it was a little hard first, but i am starting to understand more, i made a simple shield too." He then pointed to a round iron shield that was near the duplicated objects."It's not as good as father projections and isn't even close to the legends, but i will keep trying." He then smiles at his friends.
"Damn right you will! We will be amazing heroes, ALL of us!" She then smiles and looks at everyone and they just nod. "So keep training so we can spar, maybe when everyone is ready, we can try a free-for-all?" She was excited about fighting them going all out.
"Popcorn girl is right greenie, i love to build my babies, but i think Melissa and i can become techno heroes. Maybe when people decide to write your legend we can be the legendary "blacksmiths" of your tale?" She then finished eating and looked at him with a big smile on her face."Plus, i want to learn more about hose legendary weapons."
"Yeah, and i admit that "techno hero" sounds cool too. Even if i don't have a quirk i may be able to become one with the equipment i make." Everyone then saw that even if she was smiling, she was still a little sad about being quirkless, sometimes they forget that.
"You will be an amazing hero in the future Melissa, we will be there for you all the time." Izuku was determined to help her reach her dreams, she was a great friend after all."Plus, my father said that many of those legends are about quirkless people that made what many thoughts were impossible. So maybe you will become a legend yourself!" He then gives her his brightest smile he could.
"He's right Melissa, some pro heroes don't have quirks fit to face villains. They fight basically quirkless, look at me, if I can't copy any quirk beforehand then i can't fight." Neito said knowing well his limitation.
"You guys are right, I may be quirkless but I will build my support gear so I can face the villains if it is needed." She was determined to go back training."Since we need to wait an hour before going back to training, how about we go play some old video games? You repaired the console right?" The group then look at him with expectation, they really wanted to play now.
"Yeah, i did, i even duplicated the controls so we have four now." He then got the console and connected everything so they could play. When the console turned on without a problem, he was really happy, now they could play some games to relax after training."Which game should we play?" They started going through the games that were already installed.
"This one looks cool, Doom." Surprisingly it wasn't Katsumi that suggested this but Melissa instead.
"I think Quake Champions look cool too." Mei also made an interesting choice.
"I am surprised you guys aren't choosing Cyberpunk 2077, it looks high-tech, i want to play that one."Neito looks at the cover and found it interesting.
"Demon's souls look like something from the legends, maybe that gives you some ideas Icchan." She just smiles knowing that a game with magic could be cool and help him with his projections.
"There are so many cool games, I want to play Little Nightmares. How about each week we choose one? and we play that game for that week, then we choose a new one in the next. We could even search for some old games and consoles." Izuku can see that this would be a good opportunity for them to enjoy another thing together.
"How are we going to decide Izuku?" Melissa wanted to play the game as soon as possible."If we are deciding by luck this may be even more interesting."
"I will write our names and put them on a bag and we can just pull a random paper and see which name is there." They seem to agree with the idea after they write their names, the made as Izuku said and now luck will decide who choose first."And the First name is Melissa. and since you want Doom then go ahead" They would follow the classic rule. If you die, pass the control.
She was with a bright smile and started the game."That pistol looks cool, maybe we can build that Mei?" Said girl just nodded since she was already having some ideas after seeing only the pistol.
"You think you can make that Izuku?" Neito was curious, if he could start making video game weapons then they would become invincible.
"I don't know, Emiya could make projections about anything that he had seen at least once or at least knew how it worked, so maybe i can." He wasn't sure if he could use a video game as a base to create things but he sure wanted to try.
"Icchan, I swear to God if you can create video games weapons, and armors I will give you my pudding for the rest of my life." Katsumi's tone was serious, she must have something she wants to see.
"Don't worry Kacchan, if I can make it, I will tell you guys." He wants to see that too if he can make weapons from games."But let's just play, for now, I can ask my father later if he tried this."
They then went back to play the game, every time Melissa got a new gun Mei made sure to take notes to study later. "This game is really cool, we must look for more old games."Neito was really invested in this game. "Do you guys think we will be in trouble for playing a game with so much violence?" Sure the game is cool but they don't want to be in trouble.
"Nah! we are cool, I asked the old hag and she even said we should play a game called Skyrim someday." Katsumi doesn't know about that game, but if her mother said they would like it, she can't wait to play it.
They played for some time, exploring what they could. After one hour had passed, they decided to go back to training. They were doing well with the training, Mei had a great aim and if she practices more, she will be as good as her mother. Katsumi manage to make small cracks in the iron cubes and gave some tips to Neito so he could use her quirk well. Melissa was tired but was still going, she was doing pull-ups now and they could see that she wasn't used to this.
Izuku was training with Kanshou and Bakuya, he was throwing one and when he grabbed when it came back he threw the other."Mei, come here please" She then looks at him confused.
"What is it greenie?" He then gives both swords to her."Why are you giving me them?"
"I want to see if they come back if another person uses them, so try to throw them at the target you are practicing." She seems to understands what he means and thrown Bakuya in the target, after she hit the target she came back to her.
"Wow! It came back, you know what that means?" She had a big smile on her face."You can use the weapons from the legends to combine attacks with other heroes."The possibilities with that discovery are amazing.
"That was cool Icchan, we can make some combo moves now. Let me try!" Katsumi couldn't hide her excitement, everyone saw Mei using the swords "quirk" and now they wanted to try.
She then grabs the swords and like Mei, she threw Bakuya at the tree in the yard. The sword hit the tree and then came back."That was so cool, you two should try too" She then gave the swords to Melissa.
"All right, let's try something new." She then throws Kanshou a little to the left of the tree, then she sees the sword making a curve to hit it and going back."Cool the sword can make curves to hit the target. Your turn Neito." She then gives the swords to him.
"Since we are trying something new, let me see if this works." He then throws both swords at the same time in oppose directions making them go in an arc. They hit the tree and came back."D-Did you see that? Both swords came back, they came back!" When he looked at his friends their jaws were on the floor.
"B-Both blades returned?" Mei was the first to speak"H-how is that possible? Shouldn't they only go back to each other greenie?" Everyone then turns to Izuku.
"There was a moment in the legend where he made six pairs of those swords and thrown them at the same time, They circled the enemy and all hit at the same time. that was one of the bests attacks that Emiya had." He was now thinking about doing the same.
"We must try to see if other weapons can be used too. If you can make video game weapons too, you can help other heroes if the enemy is too strong."Neito was already planning new ways to help Izuku.
"I must master this legend first, then I can use all of the weapons and armors in the Unlimited Blade Works." Izuku knew he was still far from the whole potential of the legend."I will ask my dad when he gets back later about other people using it. For now, let's just go back to training."
They then got back to training and after a few hours, Inko was home and made some snacks for them, their parents started coming back and they told them about their progress.
"I broke the iron cubes uncle Hisashi left to me and even taught Neito to use my quirk too," Katsumi said while Mitsuki and Masaru smiled at their daughter full of pride. "That's our girl!" Masaru said loving to know that his daughter was making great friends.
"I practiced with the bow and was able to hit the targets easy, I even used greenie swords to hit them" Mei had a big smile on her face, and her parents were proud of her too, a month ago James and Samantha saw that she wouldn't even try to socialize and now she had friends and even asked to go to their houses."That's amazing Mei, maybe you will be a hero like me?" Samantha knew her daughter loved to build machines like her father but maybe she could do both.
"Me too dad, I made all my exercises and used Izuku swords too. I even made them fly in an arc and hit the target." David was surprised his daughter had so much fun without build anything. She may receive Toshinori power in the future and he knows she must have a body strong enough to hold that power"I am glad you have so much fun with everyone."
"I threw both swords and made a cool attack with it and used Katsumi quirk to train too. She helped me a lot." Neito's parents were proud of him for making friends, they knew that some kids didn't like their son's quirk so he was used to be alone. "That's good son, I hope you keep training and become stronger each day." His father said with a big smile on his face. Ren was a slim man a little taller than Masaru and had wavy unkempt blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Your father is right, you can become a great hero in the future." his mother Sae is a tall and beautiful woman with upper-back length ashen brown hair that is asymmetrically parted on the left-right side and brown eyes that are sometimes depicted with a hint of mauve red.
After a few moments Hisashi came back and everyone decided to dinner there today, Inko was happy to have so many guests but Mitsuki, Sae, and James decided to help her making dinner.
After they finished they said goodbye to each other and they went home."Dad, can someone else use all the weapons I create with Emiya legend? or just Kanshou and Bakuya?" Izuku decided to ask now that everyone was gone so his father could have time to explain.
"Anyone can use any weapon we create from any legend" He then looks at his son with a serious expression."Look, son, those weapons are dangerous if you let an enemy take them, that's why I will teach you how to absorb them. After you use a weapon you can absorb her again to recover your mana and avoid an enemy to use them against you." He then creates Kanshou and Bakuya in his hands, after a few seconds the swords turned into mana particles.
"How can I do it?" He wanted to learn this so no one could use his weapons against his friends.
"Try to imagine like they become sand and the wind is carrying them, it's easy." He explained and saw his son closed his eyes to summon the swords.
"Trace on!" he then looked at the swords and imagined them like sand in the wind, after a few seconds the swords started to disperse. "I did it!"
"See? I told you that you could use the legend easily now." His voice was full of pride.
"Oh! I almost forgot. Dad, can I create video games weapons, and armors? with Emiya quirk?" Izuku knew that Katsumi would want to know that tomorrow.
"Depends on what you want to do, if it is some alien thing then no you can't. You can copy the designs but not their magic or powers. Not every weapon or armor can be made an exact copy from the game. For example, look at this." Hisashi then created an assault rifle with a chainsaw bayonet. "This is a lancer rifle from a game called Gears of War. Since is just a rifle with a chainsaw bayonet it is possible to create one using Emiya legend."
"Wow! that is so cool, so I can make it? I have to tell Kacchan about it." He can't wait to see her reaction. Hisashi just laughed since he had the same idea and reaction when he was younger.
Inko was smiling while she looked at both on the couch, Izuku was being able to learn faster each day."He will be stronger than both of us, right dear?"
"Yeah, he will be even stronger than All Might." At the mention of that name, Izuku eyes were like stars
"I can be stronger than All Might?" Both parents couldn't help but laugh at their son's enthusiasm.
"Yes you can, but it is time to sleep," Izuku whined a little but obeyed his father and went to sleep, Inko and Hisashi stayed awake a little more, since the PS5 was repaired they didn't see a reason to not play like the old days. "Shouldn't we go to sleep?"
"We should, but remember when we used to play the whole night and everyone thought we were having sex?" He nodded and both laughed remembering how much their friends teased them about it. "Besides, remember when you created the Blades of chaos the first time?"
"Yeah, I remember that I almost cried from happiness. I can see Izuku trying to create video game weapons sooner or later. If he combines them with Lancelot knight of the owner, he will be unstoppable." They then started playing and they almost got late for work the next day.
And that was chapter 6, the reason I bring the possibility of Izuku creating some game weapons and armors is that I saw a pic of Mei with the BFG from Doom Eternal, Don't worry, i won't use many game weapons, as Hisashi said, he may have the weapons design but not their power since they aren't real legends.
