Hello all! I finally managed to get another one of these written. There will be one more chapter (letter) after this one, so look out for that. I will hopefully be able to get the next chapter of my longfic out soon, but I'm still struggling a bit with that. But, let's get to this next letter!
It's over.
I did it, Judai. Well, Yubel and I did it.
You would never guess it, or maybe you would, I don't know. You know them better than I do. Despite our first interaction being them trying to kill me in one of the alternate dimensions. And then them later possessing me. Which happened again. And honestly, it wasn't all that bad. In fact, I enjoyed it. The rush of power that courses through my body as Yubel and I merged as one. It was so much different than the first time. No wonder you're so much stronger than me. And you're going to heal one day and be able to take Yubel back. But until then, I may just keep them.
But, back to what I meant to tell you. So, Manjome decided that he didn't want me to go alone. So he went to the hospital last night and spoke with Yubel. They wanted revenge as well, so Manjome took their card and waited for me to leave. They followed me to Jeevak's hideout and intercepted me before I went inside. Which, after coming this far, Manjome decided that he wanted to be a part of this justice as well.
And you'll never know how the rest of the day went.
I can, and will, describe what I can of the rest of the day, but it will be nothing compared to experiencing it. To see the look of surprise on Jeevak's face again. It was priceless. He genuinely seemed to be shocked that Manjomenand I were there. And then Yubel manifested. And he cracked.
And it didn't matter. Whether Manjome wanted to or not, it was happening. And Yubel only encouraged me. And I will tell you, I only wanted it more. To get justice for you. To make Jeevak pay for how he hurt you. How he hurt me.
Fuck him. He got what he fucking earned.
I let him try to settle everything by a Duel. In fact, I was hoping he would. Poetic justice and all that.
He didn't fully understand Yubel. He didn't understand the new rules of Dueling. And he paid for it. Yubel brought life to the Gem Beasts. And come to life they did.
It was glorious. To watch their attacks land and physically injure him was so satisfying. It was sick and twisted, to see the cuts and scratches from Amethyst Cat and Topaz Tiger. But it was so perfect. And then, Sapphire Pegasus knocked him over, stabbing their horn through his shoulder. It was followed by Amber Mammoth stomping on him and crushing him.
And then he could barely resist the end of the Duel. Rainbow Dragon wanted justice as well. And Jeevak burned to a crisp. He screamed. At least, he tried to. His ribs were crushed and his lungs smothered. He couldn't really make a sound. He tried, but he coughed on himself and slowly gasped as Rainbow appeared before him. I could feel the energy from Yubel egging me on. Willing me to do it. Is that what you feel when they merge with you?
Manjome looked on. Was he full of approval or disgust? I couldn't tell. His expressions have always been difficult to read. But, he didn't say anything. Not then, and not in the hours since.
But now, I need you to wake up. You need to come back. I need to see you. To hold you. To feel your touch. You have to get better. It all has to work out, right? You have to wake up. If you don't, it will have all been for nothing.
And I can't go on without you. Not now, and not in the future.
One more to go. See you all for that and how this story concludes.
