Chapter 6: A new environment
"Come on Honey Don't be shy" Cloretta said as she led us into the dining room. Ariel and I walked inside the dining room to see Gimpsey, Eric, and Selena were in the room. Ariel and I walked up to them. "Oh Eric, Selena, aren't they a vision?"
Gimpsey said. Ariel and I smiled. "Uh, you look wonderful" Eric said. Ariel nodded. "You look wonderful as well" Selena said. I nodded as well. "Come, Come, you must be famished. let me help you, my dears" Gimpsey said as he,
led us to the table. "There we go" Gimpsey said as he sat us down in chairs. "Now, quite comfey? Good. it's not often we have such lovely dinner guests eh, Eric, Selena?" Gimpsey said. they paused when we saw Arie; brushing her hair with the fork.
I nudged Ariel and she set the fork back down and look embarassed. Ariel then smiled when she saw Gimpsey used the pipe. "Uh, do you like it? it's rather a fine one" Gimpsey,
said. Ariel then blew on the pipe and black smoke was all over Gimpsey. Eric, and Selena giggled. I can't laugh since I don't have a voice so all I could do was smile. "Oh my"
Cloretta said. Eric cleared his throat. "Sorry Gimps" Eric said. "Why Eric, that's the first time I have seen you smile in weeks" Cloretta said. "Ah, very amusing" Gimpsey said,
as he was wiping the smoke from his face. "Carlotta my dear, what's for dinner?" Gimpsey said. "Oh, your gonna love it! chef's been fixing his specialty stuffed crab" Caroletta,
said. We then heard some loud noises coming from the kicktion. "I think I better see what Louis is up to" Caroletta said. she then left the room. When she left Gimpsey spoke,
up. "you know Eric, Selena, perhaps our young guests might enjoy seeing some of the sights of the kingdom. something in from the tour" Gimpsey said. Caroletta then returned,
with, food on the plates. Eric was distracted by Ariel and Selena was then distracted by me. "I'm sorry Grim, what was that?" Eric said. "You guys can't be spending your days,
moping around! you need to get out! do something, have a life!" Gimpsey said. Gimpsey then took his bowl out. Ariel and I then were shocked to see Sebastion in the plate.
Sebastion gave us a signal to quiet down. "Get your mind off..." Gimpsey said. "Easy Grim, easy. it's not a bad idea if they are interested. what do ya say? Would you like to join me on a tour of my kingdom tomorrow?" Eric said. "Yeah, would you,
like to join us Lana?" Selena said. Ariel and I smiled and nodded. "Wonderful! now let's eat before this crab wanders off my plate. as Gimpsey was about to eat, he noticed the crab was gone. that's because Sebastion was able,
to crawl from the plate, to Ariel's plate just in time. after we finished eating dinner, Ariel and I decided to go to our rooms. I had my own room and Ariel had her own room. I got into my pajamas and I stared out the window. it was nighttime now.
I watched as I saw Selena and Eric playing with Max the dog. I also saw Ariel in the distance watching from her room. I waved at her when I saw her. she waved back. Eric,
Selena, and Max noticed us. they waved at us and we waved back. I then turned to my room and went to go lay down. I smiled to myself. I then closed my eyes and fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up and got ready to go on the tour with Prince Eric and Princess Selena was taking us on the tour and we got ready to go. we got the horse attached,
onto the wagon and we were off. we were walking down the roads and seeing the city. Flounder was following us in the water. after a while, we arrived in town. Ariel and I,
were amazed. we saw a puppet show playing. Ariel and I then took Eric and Selena to a dancing area. we danced with Eric and Selena. Eric and Selena then let us control,
the carriage. we drove over the cliff. Eric and Selena freaked out but we landed safely on the ground. it was a hard thud but we landed safely. later tonight we were on a boat,
and in the lake. Ariel and I were listening as the animals in the lake were singing the song and Sebastion was leading the song. Ariel and Eric were in one boat and Selena and I,
was in the other boat. Selena and Eric were guessing our names because we couldn't tell them because we couldn't speak. Eric guessed Ariels name correctly but Selena hasn't,
guessed my name yet. she was still guessing. "Samantha?" Selena said. I shook my head. "Alana?" Selena said. I made a signal to her telling her that she was close. I made an L shape of my hand. "Starts with an L?" Selena said. I nodded Excitedly.
"Lana?" Selena said. I nodded. "Lana is your name?" Selena said. I nodded again. "Wow, okay. pretty name" Selena said. I did the sign language saying thank you to her. we then got into a tree and the singing continued.
we were about to kiss when someone sabotaged our boat and we flipped over. "Woah, hang on I got ya" Eric said when we flipped over. we splashed into the water. "Don't worry I got you, I got you" Selena said as she helped me stay afloat. "Are you okay?" Selena,
said. I nodded to let her know I was okay. "Good. let's get you, girls, out of the water" Selena said. Selena and Eric helped me and Ariel swim back to shore safely.
later that night I was in my bedroom and Selena was helping me get ready for bed. she helped me brush my hair out to get the knots out of my hair. she then helped me,
get on my Pjs. I hugged her to say thank you. she hugged me back. I wish I had my voice back to let her know how I feel about her. I then made a heart shape with my,
hands to try to tell her I love her. She smiled at me. "That's sweet of you. let's get you to bed now, it's been a long day for us" Selena said. I frowned a bit because I wanted,
to stay up later. I made signs with my hands asking her if I could stay up later. "No dear, time for bed now. you can play more tomorrow" Selena said. she pulled the covers,
off the bed and I laid down with my head resting on the pillow. she pulled the warm covers over my body. she turned the lamp off. "Goodnight" She said. Selena then left, the room and turned the light off, and closed the door behind her.
I fell into a deep sleep.
