Soon, the entire village has set up a training camp as some women made some arrows, Bowen was instructing Gilbert of how to do archery.
"You have never fired a bow in your life in anger or practice?" Bowen inquired.
"No." Gilbert said.
"Draw your bow." Bowen said.
Gilbert pulls the bow back.
"Sight along the arrow." Bowen instructed. "Release."
Gilbert released the arrow as it flew, and hits a dummy's head.
"Well, what do you know." Hiccup said. "Right on the first try."
Even Gilbert was stunned by that.
"Beginner's luck." Hewe said. "Try again."
Gilbert grabs another arrow, and placed it in the string.
"Steady." Bowen said Gilbert draws the arrow back.
Gilbert the released the arrow, and hits the dummy in the crouch region.
"Brother Gilbert, you're a natural." Bowen said.
Elsewhere, Kara was practicing with axe swinging as she hits it with a beam of wood tied to a pose.
And soon, Bowen appeared.
"Easy!" Bowen said. "Here, widen your stance." He helped her into a proper fighting stance. "Up, down. Up, down." He moved her arm the way as the axe blade hits the beam. "One fluid stroke."
"This could cleave a man's skull." Kara said.
Bowen then grabs the axe, and then swung it as it hits a gourd in a basket.
"Like a pudding." Bowen said.
He then walks off.
Some distance away, a flock of birds flew off as Brok on his horse appeared from the forest along with 2 other men.
And resting on Brok's left wrist was a Saker Falcon.
"Eat." Brok said releasing the falcon.
The Saker Falcon then flies off to catch one of the fleeing birds.
Later, Brok rode his horse to a hilltop and then was shocked of what he was seeing below.
The entire village at war training, and Draco by a pond drinking water along with Toothless and the other dragons. Then Draco held his wings out and roars out loudly as the villagers soon turn to him. And then Toothless roars out as well.
Brok's horse neighed in panicked as he was frighten.
"Whoa! Whoa!" Brok said trying to calm his horse.
He then rode off.
He soon got back to the castle.
"I need more men!" Brok said.
"It's just a few peasants waving pitchforks!" Felton said dismissively not knowing the real problem. "I noticed they're all on your land."
Close by, Einon walks on the stoned wall.
"You're not too busy hawking in your old age to keep control of your minions, are you?" Felton said.
Einon then rushed over to them.
"You accused me?" Brok angrily gripped Felton's tunic.
Einon then pulls him away from each other.
"I was just saying that any one of us is worth a hundred of them." Felton said.
"My brave Felton, an army undo himself." Einon said.
"Well." Felton said.
Then suddenly Einon forcefully pushed Felton's head near the table.
"FOOL!" Einon angrily yelled. " I know this man who leads them, and I will not underestimate him! Him or the dragon! As well as those strangers!"
"Don't be afraid of the dragon, my son." Aislinn said.
They turned to her as except Einon they all bowed their heads to her.
"I'm afraid of nothing!" Einon said. "Nothing!" He slammed Felton's head against the table. You understand?!"
Brok nodded.
Einon then released Felton and walked off.
Aislinn then leads Einon pass an archway.
"A mother's gift to her son." Aislinn said.
Below, were a group of 5 men and well armed.
"The finest to be had." Aislinn said.
"The finest what?" Einon questioned.
"Dragonslayers." Aislinn said.
The 5 dragonslayers stood shoulder-to-shoulder.
Towards sunset, the villagers were begin to rest for the night.
On the hilltop, Bowen walked on the hill with Draco behind him.
"Have you thought beyond tomorrow?" Draco asked.
"It's hard to see that far." Bowen said.
"Look at the camp." Draco said turning to the camp below. "What do you see? What do you hear?"
"Hope." Bowen said.
"Exactly." Draco said and lays down. "Down there you have life, songs and courage. You have everything you'll ever need. And now, so I do."
Bowen placed his right arm on Draco's shoulder.
Soon, the sun sets behind the trees.
The next day, at Einon's castle, a few guards stood watch.
Some distance away from the castle, Bowen appeared on his horse.
Einon in chainmail armor stared down with a cold-hated look as Brok and Felton were also suited in armor.
Soon, the villagers came out of hiding from the trees.
The villagers let out a battle-cry as Bowen had a new shield with a golden image of a dragon as he rode his horse.
"He dares defy me at my own gates!" Einon said. "LOOK AT HIM!"
Bowen rode his horse nears the villagers as they continued their battle-cry.
"Well, today his Code dies once and for all!" Einon said.
"No! We're safe here, Your Majesty!" Felton said stopping him. "That rabble couldn't possibly storm the castle! By tonight they'll be cold and wet and tired. Th-They'll probably just limp off home."
Below, the villagers continue their battle-cry.
"We're safe here, Einon!" Felton said trying to stop him from leaving. "Remember your father!"
Einon then turns to him.
Then Brok's eyes widen.
Suddenly, Draco appeared as he snorted 2 fireballs knocking a group of men off their feet.
Einon and Felton soon saw that.
The dragonslayers soon got a ballista ready, and Draco flew around the castle and snorted a blast of fire. Brok quickly shields Einon as the debris fell and hits the ballista hitting a dragonslayer and his axe hits the ground.
Elsewhere at the castle, another dragonslayer got a ballista with anchoring harpoons ready. Draco soon flew by him, and he slashed the rope with his sword, and the harpoons flew through the air.
"Gotcha!" Draco quickly grabs one of them.
Then Hiccup on Toothless appeared and fires a blast at one of the harpoons, and Astrid on Stormfly blasted the other.
The the ballista's chain broke off as it was then pulled away and pins the dragonslayer by the wall and he fell over he was then dangling upside-down.
Meanwhile, Einon on his horse rode off along with his knights as Aislinn watched from the castle.
Einon and his men soon got to the field.
"Bear to the right!" A knight said.
The knights on their horses soon stood shoulder-to-shoulder a few hundred yards from Bowen and the villagers.
"Let's shear them like the sheep they are!" Einon said holding his sword out.
With their swords out, they then charged towards them.
"To the forest!" Bowen yelled.
The villagers quickly fall back and fled to the forest as Einon and his knights charged after them.
The villagers soon got to the forest and ran through the trees as Einon and his knights were right behind them.
Soon, the villagers and Bowen got to a clearing in the forest.
"Form up!" Bowen called out.
The villagers soon got ready.
"Form up!" Bowen called out.
The villagers then lowered their stakes ready to fight.
Einon soon saw this.
"Halt! Halt!" Einon yelled out stopping the knights.
Suddenly, a villager hiding in the trees swings down on a rope with a lit torch, and then drops it over some dead leaves as they caught fire. And Einon and the other knights backed away from the flames.
Bowen then brought his sword out. "Second line!"
Then Hewe and the rest of the villagers came out of hiding behind them as they charged.
"Right flank, advanced!" Bowen yelled out.
The villagers continued charging.
"Get in there, second line!" Hewe said.
The flames continued spreading as Einon and his knights were soon trapped by the fire.
"Charge!" Bowen yelled.
They then charged as nearby, Fishlegs, Snotlout and the twins on their dragons came out of hiding as they charged as well. And they quickly started attacking the knights as they fought back.
In the trees, Gilbert and 2 other archers stood on a high platform as they fired arrows, though Gilbert was hesitant. But soon gains the confidence, and draws his arrow back but hesitates.
Below, Brok attacked a villager as he knocked his shield aside with his mace, and soon takes him out.
"Scatter or die!" Einon yelled. "SCATTER OR DIE! GO!"
Bowen fought a knight and soon impales him with his sword, he then saw Einon rushing off on his horse and got pass the flames.
Einon rode his horse and took a villager out with his sword, and then Bowen saw Kara attacking a knight as he knocks her back. Bowen then turns back to Einon as he attacks a villager and takes him out.
Bowen then hurries over to Kara as she continued attacking the knight as she attempts to strike him with her axe, but the knight quickly blocks it with his shield.
Bowen hurries over on his horse, and then pierce his sword at a knight, and takes out another knight. He quickly got off his horse and rushed over to Kara, but then a knight appeared as they fought. But Bowen quickly elbows him hard knocking him back and took his sword.
At the castle, Hiccup and Toothless quickly flew towards the castle as a dragonslayer turns a ballista towards them.
But Toothless fires a blast at it as they rushed by, then the dragonslayer quickly turns another ballista towards them. But then suddenly fire blast hits the ballista as the dragonslayer rubbed his wrist as he was almost hit as he turned and glared as Astrid on Stormfly flew by as she simply smiled and saluted to him.
She then flew off as another dragonslayer aims an arrow at them as they were well in his sights. But then suddenly a long silver tail wraps around him.
"Huh?" He saw the tail.
Then suddenly he was swiftly pulled off his feet as Heather on Windshear flew off as the dragonslayer screamed as Windshear tossed him away.
The knight swung his sword near Kara just missing her, and Kara swung her axe as he blocked it. The knight then swung his axe, but Kara ducked and strikes her axe at the knight's back.
And then Kara and Bowen bumped into each other as they turn to each other.
"Like a pudding." Kara said.
Nearby, some villagers ran as 3 knights on their horses chased after them.
In the trees, Gilbert saw this as the knights begin to close in. He then draws his arrow back, and released the arrow as it hits a gadget, and then a log tied to some ropes drops down, and knocks the 3 knights off their horses as they hit the ground.
"Pride goeth before the fall." Gilbert said.
"HELP!" A villager yelled running for his life from a knight on his horse. "HELP!"
Gilbert soon saw him as they ran him.
"Help! Help!" The villager cried.
Gilbert draws the arrow back, and then released it as the arrow flew and hits the knight at his lower back as he yelled in pain.
"Turn the other cheek, brother." Gilbert said grabbing another arrow.
Elsewhere, Bowen fought 2 knights as they clashed swords, and Kara fought 2 more.
Nearby, a villager pulls a knight off his horse as Einon appeared through the smoke and looked around, and saw a horse walking by with a dead knight on it's back with 2 arrows sticking on the knight's back. Einon then saw 2 villagers cornering another knight as one of them pulls him and his horse down. Another knight was then pulled off his horse as some villagers attacked him.
"RETREAT! RETREAT!" Einon yelled.
He then rode off his horse.
"Sorry!" Tuffnut said tripping a knight off his feet. "Mind your head!"
Ruffnut then whacks a mace at the knight's head.
"Retreat!" Einon yelled. "Return to the castle! Retreat!"
Close by, Bowen saw him.
"Brother Gilbert, it's Einon!" Bowen yelled out. "Stop him!"
Gilbert soon spotted Einon as he rushed by on his horse.
"Thou..." Gilbert started to aim towards Einon.
Einon then halted his horse and turns back.
"...shalt..." Gilbert said.
Bowen continued clashing his swords at the 2 knights.
"...not..." Gilbert drawing the arrow back.
Kara struck her axe at a knight, and strikes at the other knight.
"...kill!" Gilbert said.
Bowen slashed his sword at a knight, and soon jabs his other sword at the second knight.
Gilbert then released the arrow as it flew and lands a direct hit on Einon's chest as he yells in pain.
Some distance away at the castle, Draco suddenly strangely acted up in pain and then struggled to fly, and then he fell.
Bowen saw this as well as Kara, Fishlegs, Snotlout, the twins, Meatlug, Hookfang, Barf and Belch. Bowen then turns to Einon as he removes the arrow from his chest as the blow should have killed him.
At the castle, Hiccup and Toothless saw it as well as they weren't sure what happened.
"What happened?!" Astrid asked as she and Heather quickly joined up with him.
"I don't know!" Hiccup said. "Draco suddenly acted up in pain, but I didn't see him get hit!"
They then saw the dragonslayers started to gather around Draco as he tries to recover.
"Someone cover me!" Astrid said and dove down.
"Astrid, don't!" Hiccup yelled.
Hiccup and Heather quickly went after her as Heather was about to get front of Astrid and Stormfly, but then 2 nets were fired as they were soon caught and hit the ground.
"Astrid!" Hiccup yelled.
Hiccup and Toothless then tried to rush in, but then an arrow flew by nearly missing them. And then another arrow grazes Hiccup on his left arm as he yelled in pain and held the wound.
"Hiccup, go!" Heather yelled. "Get out while you still can!"
Hiccup then didn't like the choice of leaving Astrid and Heather behind, but knew he didn't had a choice and he and Toothless quickly flew off.
"How is he still alive from that?" Snotlout asked.
"Not one clue." Fishlegs said equally shocked.
"I don't like this guy at all." Tuffnut said.
Einon then turns Bowen as he soon had a mad look as even Kara was shocked of the arrow not killing him. And in the trees, Gilbert too was shocked as he knew something wasn't right.
Suddenly, Einon was in thought of something.
"The dragonslayers." Einon said.
He then turns his horse and rode off.
At the castle, one of the dragonslayers spoke a language as another pulls on a chain.
At the field, Einon whacked the arrow at his horse they hurried across the field back to the castle.
A dragonslayer quickly locks a chain as the 2 other slayers aimed their spears.
Einon quickly rode his horse over the bridge rushing to the castle.
"Open up! It's the king!" A guard said.
The dragonslayers held Draco, Stormfly and Windshear as they were chained to the ground. And 2 knights had Astrid and Heather restrained tightly.
And then Einon appeared.
"STOP!" Einon yelled and he got off his horse and removed his helmet. "NO! I want it alive! Alive and safe." He then went up to Draco as one of his horns had a broken tip from the fall. "Safe for all eternity." He tapped the arrow on Draco's broken horn.
"Oh, no." Draco said in horror.
Einon then walks off and approached Astrid and Heather as the guards held them back.
"I take it you 2 and your strange friends are not from here." Einon said.
"You might say that." Heather said glaring at him.
"May I ask where exactly." Einon said.
"We'd rather die than tell you cold-hearted monster!" Astrid angrily spat at him.
"You'll think different after I'm through with you and your friend." Einon said. "Lock them up!"
The 2 knights then took Astrid and Heather away.
"I don't know what happened!" Fishlegs said. "Einon was hurt but not for long."
"That arrow should've killed him." Snotlout said.
"It's like he's immune." Ruffnut said.
"Whatever witchery does he have, I don't want it." Tuffnut said.
"Not only he's got Draco, but Astrid, Heather, Stormfly and Windshear as well." Hiccup said. "We gotta get them out."
"I go to save the dragon!" Bowen yelled out to the villagers. "Who will go with me?!"
The villagers remained silent as Bowen placed his sword in it's sheath, and then turns to Kara. They then walked off as Hiccup, Snotlout, Fishlegs, the twins and their dragons followed them. And soon, Gilbert followed them as well.
