Ok so I'm just gonna explain some stuff here. Lance and Keith were captured while on a mission and they were brought to Hagar. Hagar experimented on Keith, which is why he has wings, and tortured and questioned both Lance and Keith. She also made them fight in the arena while they were captured. Due to the experiments done to him, Keith barley even remembers getting captured, he figured out that the wings came from during the time that they were captives. Lance remembers about half of the experience and but, he mainly remembers how much the experiments hurt Keith both mentally and physically, which made Lance hurt as well. Lance was the first person to see Keith get his wings and it being the first time that something that wasn't supposed to be there was coming out of Keith's back, he was in a lot of pain, and Lance felt useless because he couldn't help his friend and crush(yes I ship klance), which is why Lance hates it whenever Keith gets his wings because it reminds him of that time. The reason that the entire team went back to the main ship was because they were trying to see what Hagar had done to Keith and Lance so that they could figure things out to see if they could help the two boys with their wonderful(sarcasm) new trauma. They also wanted to get information on basically all they could. When they tried to make their escape Hagar threw them into the VForce's universe, and you know the rest. In this story Keith has been having nightmares but not all of them are nightmares, some of them are stuff about his blood related family or his past or his mother's past, basically memories. Keith has been having a reoccurring dream or memory of Hagar and his mother. in the dream Krolia(Keith's mom if you didn't know) is calling Hagar mother when she says that Hagar was only her mother by blood but Krolia doesn't accept hagar as her mother. Basically Keith is hagar's grandson and hagar actually knows this which is part of the reason she only experimented on Keith and only tortured lance for info.
The lions share powers with the paladins and they can connect deep enough to share bodies. the paladins could take control of the lions without being in them and the lions could be in the paladins body without being near their body. Pidge is the guardian of nature and technology so that's what her powers are. Hunk is the Earth, more like rocks and metal. Lance is any form of water(liquid, solid, gas). Keith is fire or heat but his galran abilities are teleportation, he can fly, lightning, telekinesis, super speed and strength, night vision and increase in all senses. Shiro is atmosphere: telekinesis, changing the levels of oxygen in the area, he can also use lightning, he can make a whole storm appear when he and lance combine their powers(it's even stronger with Kieth there too), I will also give him the ability of flight because why not, he can control wind and gravity as well.
Allura apologized to Keith because she was a rude bitch to him whenever he told the team that he was galran but she still holds some hate for him so that's going to create problems in the future, and I mean major problems. A lot of races also don't like Keith bc of his galran lineage so that will also create problems for the poor boy we all love torturing so much.
Since hagar is altean that means that Keith is 1/3 altean, 1/3 galran, and 1/3 human. The VForce members feel very sympathetic for the VLD force bc of how young they are and bc of how different it is from their world and how much harder it is for them.
