GENSHIN CHAOS
It was a normal day in U.A. High. Well, as normal as I can be for a hero school.
However, unbeknownst to the school's staff and students things were about to get crazy.
"Where is Mei Yo?" Aizawa asked the class as he scans the room for said girl. But she was nowhere to be found.
While most of the class looks around in confusion, Tenya Iida shot his hand up in attention. "Mei has not been seen all day sir!"
Ochako Uraraka nodded, "Yeah, I haven't seen her since yesterday." She looks around worriedly, "I wonder if she's alright." The class started to talk between each other over Mei's absence. Who would miss the second day of U.A?
Aizawa looks on passively, he takes out his phone and did a quick call. After a couple of minutes of conversing, Aizawa hung up. "Mei Yo has left her home this morning on time for school, however, her whereabouts are unknown."
The class started to get worried.
"Keh, why should we worry about some extra?"
Iida snaps towards Katsuki Bakugo robotically. "Bakugo! That was uncalled for!"
Bakugo growled, "What? She has nothing to do with me or any of you!"
"She's our classmate! We should worry and care for each other for proper class unity!"
"Enough" Aizawa-sensei's voice rang out through the classroom, silencing the argument. "I will go out to look for Mei around campus. Don't go anywhere."
Just as he was about to leave, the door slides open wide. Everyone turned expecting to see Mei who arrived late. But instead, they were treated by a Blonde boy with gold eyes, wearing what looked like in their eyes, a hero costume.
The boy was panting, as though he had just run a marathon. His gold eyes looked over the confused faces of the class and gave an awkward chuckle.
"Ha, sorry. Can you please help me?"
Aizawa took the initiative and stepped forward. "What's wrong?" He recognised this boy, it was one of the many forms Mei could take on. He appeared in both the exam and yesterday's test.
The boy's (Mei?) eyes turned towards Aizawa and looked him up and down as though assessing him.
"Aizawa right? Mei talked about you, says you're reliable." The boy said.
The said teacher raised his eyebrow. "Are you not Mei?" His question drew the class' attention as some of them began to realise who the boy was.
"Oh shit! It's Mei!"
"But why did Aizawa-sensei ask him if he was not Mei?"
"I wonder what happened."
The boy shook his head, his stamina returning to him as he stood up straight. His hand stretched out. "The name's Aether, one of Mei's many so-called heroes. And I need your help rounding up the others before they cause any more damages."
Aizawa returned the gestured the gesture but had one more thing to ask.
"Explain."
In the kitchen idly preparing for the lunch period was a hero known as Lunch Rush.
He was the only one in the kitchen this early in the morning as he'd often come in an hour before the rest of the kitchen staff to do his daily preparations.
Well, at least he thought he was alone.
"Hey!"

Lunch Rush jumped in surprise at the unexpected call, he turned around to see a young girl looking and leaning at him with stars in her eyes.
"Yes?" He asked unsurely, no one other than himself should be in the kitchen at this time of day. And despite the kitchen being attacked to the cafeteria, all the students should be in their class.
"Are you the Chef here?" The girl asks excitedly.
"Yes?" Lunch Rush repeated, confused as to what the girl wants. "I'm sorry, who are you?"
"Ah!" The girl's eyes lost their starry look as it went wide in surprise. She leaned back and stood straight with confidence. "Where are my manners? My name's Xiangling, and I'm a chef at Wanmin Restaurant." She gave a friendly wave before leaning forward again with stars in her eyes once again but this time with a drool. "If it's alright with you, would you care to let me try out some of your food!"
Lunch Rush was unsure what to do as rarely does he interact with the students outside of serving them. He did have leftover food from the other night when the staff celebrated the start of another school year.
Lunch Rush decided to indulge Xiangling, being sure that once she was satisfied by his food she's move on. So with great reluctance, he brought out the leftovers and quickly reheat it.
It wasn't long till Xiangling finished her taste testing, but instead of the usual satisfying expressions, Lunch Rush sees on his customers' faces. Was a dissatisfied one, as Xiangling stood with her hand on her chin as she contemplates the taste of the dish.
"Hm... It's good but it could be better." Xiangling points her finger at Lunch Rush's face. "You should wow your customers! Give them something more than what they were expecting!"
The hero Lunch Rush felt personally insulted. He put his heart and soul into that dish for the annual celebration. Every year he tries to whip up something new and fresh, to symbolise the new wave of students each year.
Before Lunch Rush knew it, he was having a Food War with Xiangling.
When the kitchen staff arrived for their shifts, they came upon a kitchen full of food with Lunch Rush and Xiangling cooking with a burning passion as they try to one-up each other. By the time the Lunch period came around the students were pleasantly surprised by the wide range of food. Even if half of it were bizarre-looking.
When Aizawa and Aether heard the commotion in the cafeteria they went to check it out and found Xiangling eating Lunch Rush's new dish.
As soon as Aether saw Xiangling he couldn't help but sigh. "I should've known."
Aizawa looked at Xiangling then back at Aether. "One of yours?"
With his hand against his head Aether answers. "Yep, just be glad she didn't bring out Guoba."
With a large crowd of students between them and Xiangling, Aether cupped his hands around his mouth and called out. "HEY! XIANGLING!"
Hearing his call Xiangling perked up. "Mei! You have to try out this food!" She replied cheerfully.
"IT'S AETHER ACTUALLY! C'MON, WE GOTTA GO GET THE OTHERS!"
Xiangling was confused before she drooped when she had to go. Turning towards Lunch Rush who was indulging himself to her dish. She informs him that he has to go.
"Really sorry that we can't conclude who won. I'd be sure to come again when I have the chance." Xiangling apologises, it's been a while since she has been in a kitchen with an abundance of ingredients. Even when most of the ingredients she was used to using weren't available there was a whole new range of ingredients she has never seen before to use and experiment with.
"No problem, I enjoyed our battle. Please come again." Lunch Rush brought his fist out and both he and Xiangling gave each other a fist pump in acknowledgement.
"I will surely win the next time we meet."
"Ha, you wish."
Xiangling then turned and got herself on top of the counter that separated the Kitchen from the cafeteria and gazed her eyes over the confused crowd of students towards Aizawa and Aether.
Aether was initially confused as to what Xiangling was planning to do. "What is she-?" That was until Xiangling summoned her spear and that is when it hit him. "Oh no."
Aizawa raised his eyebrow towards Aether.
Xiangling grabbed hold of her spear with both of her hands and crouched down, concentrating all her energy and strength into her legs. The tip of her spear pointed linearly towards Aizawa and Aether.
With a quick spin of her spear, Xiangling pushed the counter with all her might and spun with her spin over the student's heads enticing sounds of amazement. A second later Xianglign stopped spinning mid-air and lightly dropped in front of Aether and Aizawa with a big grin.
"Sorry for the wait!"
At the end of the day when Lunch Rush calculates the total amount of food and ingredients used and the cost of them, he was met with a devastating surprise. His Food War with Xiangling cost a lot more than he was expecting and he was now worrying if he'd be able to feed the students for the whole year.
He suddenly found himself regretting his decision to indulge Xiangling as a newly formed debt weighed over his shoulders.
Little did he know was that Nezu was happy to cover the cost himself.
"Gah! Who threw water on me?!"
"Sorry!"
"How did I forget to bring my books to school today?!"
"My apologies!"
"Kya! Who did that?!"
"Terribly sorry!"
Running through the halls was a young lad with white hair and an assortment of scars and bandages. His green eyes zip left and right as he scans the halls as he ran. Apologising every time a poor student meet a sudden misfortune.
Not that he was spared by misfortune either as he'd also find himself tripping, running in circles, taking the wrong turn, crashing into students, so on and so forth. The only that hasn't happened yet was being struck by lighting.
"KA-CHA-!"
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I don't know what got over me!"
"I-it's f-fine. I-I'm used to-o it."
Denki Kaminari was returning to his classroom from the toilets when he was bumped into the white-haired boy. Unexpectedly his quirk activated and he ended up electrocuting the boy on accident.
Seeing the state the poor boy was in Kaminari felt really bad and wanted to help. "Hey, do you need any help? I can take you to see Recovery Girl if you want."
While slightly dazed with his white-haired stuck out in all angles, the boy insisted he was alright. "Seriously, i-it's fine. Not the-e first time I wa-as electrocuted. But I must say, being struck i-indoors is new."
Kaminari was mortified to hear that, yet the white-haired boy just smiled.
"But if it's ok with you, can you tell me where Mei is? I'm looking for her."
"Mei? You mean Mei Yo?"
The boy nodded in glee. "Yes! Have you seen her?"
Kaminari shook his head. "I haven't seen her all day, but I did see a boy named Aether with Aizawa-sensei. Apparently, he has something to do with her."
The boy perked up. "Ah, the Traveller is also here?" He got into a thinking position. "Hm, what could this mean?"
Kaminari tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
The boy's green eyes looked up to meet Kaminari's yellow.
"If you know Mei then you must know that she can switch into different people right?"
Kaminari nodded.
The boy pointed at himself with his thumbs up. "I'm one of those people. The name's Bennett, the leader of Benny's Adventure Team!"
Kaminari was surprised by introduced himself in response. "Denki Kaminari."
"Well Kaminari, can you help me find Aether? I'm sure he knows what's going on."
"Uh, sure."
Bennett and Kaminari then paired together and went onwards to find Aether and hopefully Mei. Along the way, Kaminari faces misfortune at a scale he has never experienced before as Bennett takes it to stride while apologising to Kaminari after each bought of bad luck.
At a nearby daycare, laughter and music could be heard outside.
Little innocent kids were laughing and cheering as a young man danced and sung for them, and the little kids sung along.
"Tar-Tar-Taglia~!"
"Lover of Snezshnayan Queen~!"
"There was a cat that really was gone~!"
"Tar-Tar-Taglia~!"
"Snezshnaya's Greatest Love Machine~!"
"It was a shame how he carried on~!"
Nothing out of the ordinary here.
"CHARGE!"
A cute high pitched voice could be heard at the end of a crowded hallway full of students. Before any of them could register what they just heard, each one of them one by one was found moved, shuffled and shoved throughout the hall as three small children ran through them.
These three little cute girls were out on a search mission for their big sister. And would stop at nothing to find her, whatever it takes.
"Oh My GOD, IS THAT A BOMB?!"
"HIEEEEEE! G-G-GHOST!"
"Look at those ears and tail! So Kawaii~!"
The Loli Trio were here, so prepare for some cute dose of chaos.
When Midnight went to her office room for some TLC but instead she was greeted by unexpected guests.
"Ah, I was wondering when someone would unlock the door. Way to keep us waiting." Said a seductive voice of a man.
Midnight was startled.
"Oh please, it's not like she expected us to be here. We don't even know how we got here." An annoyed voice of a woman retorted back towards the man.
"I'm just trying to start a friendly conversation."
"If that's what a friendly conversation is to you then it's no wonder you aren't in a relationship."
"Ara~ Ara~, no need to fight. We have other matters at hand." Another seductive voice interjected into the conversation. This time from a woman.
Midnight wasn't sure if she should feel aroused or worried that three hot looking people got into her office room when only she and the cleaners had the key to it.
Giving the hot eyepatched man, the sinful nun and the sexy witch a look over. Midnight decided to feel aroused.
Somewhere in USJ.
"What do you mean the stars has no relation to people's past, present or future? I'm a professional Astrologist and I can guarantee you that it's true."
"Miss, please that is all superstitions. Science has proven it as such. You can continue to believe what you want but don't conform others to your beliefs."
"It's not superstitions!"
Thirteen was having trouble handling a woman who proclaimed herself as an expert on stars. She kept insisting that she saw a dark void in her future. Thirteen wasn't sure if she was making a joke about her quirk or what, but it was an annoying argument.
"You, not human."
"Why yes, am I a dog, mouse or bear? I'm Principal Nezu."
"Me, Razor."
"Nice to meet you."
"Nezu help Razor?"
"I'd be happy to."
"Nezu, friend?"
"Friend."
"Razor, happy."
"Glad to help."
"Hey, hasn't Kaminari been gone for a while?"
"Yeah, he went out ages ago."
"I'll go check on him."
"Ah, ok. Thanks Tokoyami."
Leaving the classroom Tokoyami headed towards the restrooms, meanwhile, Dark Shadow decided to come out to chat.
"You think he's taking a big dump?"
"One should not make such assumptions. It paints others badly."
Just as they were about to turn a corner a boy wearing light blue, with light blue hair and eyes to match appeared from the corner and stuck his hand out in a stop gesture.
"Halt evil spirit! I shall not let you torment this poor soul any longer!"
Tokoyami and Dark Shadow looked at each other and responded together.
"Nani?"What?"
Briskly walking through the halls was a edgy emo looking boy with a demon looking mask at his hip not having a good time. No, he was having terrible time. Because no matter what he did, he can't loose his pursuers.
"Kyaaa~! He is so hot!"
"Oh my god he just glared at me! I can die happy!"
"Did you hear that growl? It touched my soul. Ah~"
"Hey! What's your name!"
"Can I get your autograph?!"
"Is he an upcoming hero or idol? He is so cool!"
"What's your quirk?!"
The young man has seemed to have gained himself fangirls as he stalked the hallways for someone. And was getting agitated as more and more girls joined in the pursuit, even some guys joined in.
The boy growled and brought out his mask and growled out.
"Evil Conquering!"
Before any of the fangirls could blink, in a flash of dark neon green and black light, the boy was gone.
"Awww" Was the cries of disappointment from the fangirls. Unable to learn more about the boy that stole their hearts.
In Present Mic's office/studio, music could be heard from within. As Present Mic and a young girl with a caveman rockstar style played their instruments and sang their heart out.
"Rock on!"
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"OH MY GOD SHE'S GONNA JUMP!"
"NO DON'T! YOU GOT LOTS TO LIVE FOR!"
"WHERE ARE THE TEACHERS?!"
On the roof of U.A. High was a girl with long brown hair and gold eyes. Ignoring the cries, she snapped her gold-framed goggles over her eyes with a smile.
With a running start, she ran towards the edge of the roof before taking a giant leap at the last step.
The students down below screamed in terror as the girl jumped.
Fwimp-!
Only to be dumbfounded as wings sprouted from the girl's back, watching as she idly glides around U.A and out of sight.

"What the Fuck?" Bakugo was in the middle of one of the many hallways, and he had no fucking clue what is going on.
Before him was like a wave of chaos that went through the crowd in the hallway, and it was heading towards him.
"Kya! Why are there children here?!"
"Who gave this kid alcohol?!"
"Someone call the Ghostbusters!"
"Seriously! Who gave this kid bombs!?"
Bombs?
Bakugo was in a confused daze as voices of confusion rang around him. Before he knew it the wave has reached him and he was greeted by a bump.
Peering down he was faced with a little girl with blonde hair and light red eyes, like his own, wearing a red coat with a matching cap and a brown messenger bag on her back. In her arms were cute looking bombs.
The little girl looked at him in the eye.
And Bakugo looked back.
The girl lifted her bombs up with a smile. "My name's Klee!"
Bakugo raised his hand and release small pops of explosions. "Bakugo."
If the Student body thought things were already crazy before, then it's about to get crazier as Katsuki Bakugo could be seen blazing through the hallways with the little girl named Klee on his back.
"Wheeeeeee~!"
"GET OUT OF MY FUCKING WAY YOU EXTRAS!"
A recognisable young lad name Venti can be seen scouring the teacher's break room and somehow found himself some alcoholic beverages.
"Oooh~! I'm sure they won't mind if I have myself a glass."
"Fascinating."
In the library where all things were peaceful and calm was a young boy with dark blue hair and clothes. And he was just calmly browsing the bookshelves and grabbing a book at a time to read through.
Nothing chaotic in here.
Back in the kitchen, the Lunch period was over and Lunch Rush and staff were expecting to clear a large number of dishes. More so than usual because of the Food War. But instead, they found cleanly stacked dishes already in their places.
Next to the dishes was a neatly tucked note.
I noticed the clutter and decided to help.

That day the kitchen staff and Lunch Rush thanked Noelle to the high heavens, especially once they noticed that the kitchen was considerably more clean than usual.
"I've been hearing a lot of screaming around campus today. Did something happen?"
"Maybe there was ghost sighting."
"Why is everything ghosts with you?"
"Because it's interesting."
"Agreed, especially when you're friends with one."
"But like, can't you be more real- wait, who said that?"
"Boo"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH"
"Da da da, you've been pranked!"
"So you're looking for Young Yo?" All Might asked curiously at the two sisters.
"She'd prefer if you called her Mei but yes." The oldest said, her name was Jean.
"Are you hurt Mister Might?" The youngest Barbara asked.
All Might was taken aback. "Why would you say that?"
"You show some signs of pain, plus there is blood dripping from your mouth."
"Urgh-!" All Might quickly wipe the blood away.
Barbara tilted her head with a worried look. "I can heal you if you like Mister Might."
All Might sighed in defeat. "I'm afraid no amount of healing can save me, my dear."
Jean stepped forward. "I can assure you that my sister's healing ability can work wonders, and I can help and assist her should she need it."
All Might looked between the two, each with a look of determination to help.
"If you insist."
All Might suddenly found himself encircled in water and dandelions with a soft comforting breeze. His body felt as though it was floating on clouds as it was filled with life and energy. Any form of injury, discomfort or microscopic germ attacks suddenly vanished. And most important at all, All Might no longer felt any internal pain.
Once it was all over, all that All Might could say was.
"OH MY GOODNESS!"
In the Teacher's break room was Venti completely wasted with Beidou who found him earlier and joined him for a drink.
And they were singing.
"There once was a ship that took to sea."
"The name of the ship was the Billy of Tea."
"The winds blew up, her bow went down."
"O blow, my bully boys, blow."
"Soon may the Wellerman come."
"To bring us sugar and tea and rum."
"One day, when the tonguin' is done."
"We'll take our leave and go."
"What an interesting architecture. It'll prove a wonderous source of inspiration."
A young blonde man with his sketch book out could be seen drawing in front of U.A High, not minding the distress over the brunette girl gliding above.
Nothing to worry about.
Boom!
"Nooo! My babies blew up again!"
"Perhaps we overdid the chemical formula."
"Sucrose, the formula was perfect! I just need to upgrade my baby more to handle it."
"What kind of materials are you using to make your uh, babies?"
"Huh? Oh, here's my blueprint."
"Ah! Hastume! This metal contains elements that are incompatible with the chemical formula. It's guaranteed to cause an explosion as soon as they interact."
"Woops."
"Whoa! You're a princess?!"
"Indeed, I Prinzessin der Verurteilung heil from a land far and long forgotten. I've come to seek aid for my loyal subject Mei has disappeared before my sights. If not found I'm afraid damnation will soon meet us all."
"Uhh."
"What mein fraulein is trying to say young Midoriya is that we must find Mei in order for us to return home."
"Ah, ok. Aizawa-sensei shouldn't be that far and he's also looking for her. In the meantime, can you tell me more about your homeland?"
"Why certainly, I Prinzessin der Verurteilung will indulge you in your desire for knowledge."
"... translation?"
"Mein Fraulein accepts your request."
"And this is?" Aizawa asked, looking at the man before him.
"Aizawa meet Diluc, Diluc meet Aizawa. Play nice." Aether informs.
"I'd rather not play thank you very much. I have no time for such childish things." Diluc retorts.
"Tell that to Timmie's pigeons."
"No comment."
Aizawa gave the man Diluc a scan. He was physically fit despite his fancy clothing, and while he did see him in action during the exam. He felt as though he met him before.
"..Have we met before?"
Diluc looked him with his red eyes, unfaltering in his emotions.
"I have no clue what you're on about. As far as I know, this is our first meeting."
Aizawa wasn't buying it.
Despite Diluc's denial, they have in fact met, when Diluc was running around as the vigilante Dark Knight Hero. They had a few confrontations even when Aizawa was trying to arrest him.
Diluc turned to face Aether.
"You haven't seen my God forsaken brother, have you?"
Aether shook his head. "Nope."
Diluc sighed. "May the female student body have mercy."
During all the chaos and randomness, was a small group of four having tea on a small patch of grass on campus grounds.
"Today is sure is lively." A young man said, voice deep and attractive.
"Why of course Mr Zhongli. Especially with the new scenery." A young woman replied, pipe in hand.
"It is sure is lovely here, though the air could be cleaner. " Another young woman commented, her blue hair flowing in the wind.
"Would be nice if it was less noisy too." The third young woman added, her amethyst eyes peering at the nearby traffic.
"It's just the aspects of life I'm afraid. The good, and the bad." The man Zhongli concluded, taking a sip of his tea.
"Uh, Paimon."
"Yeah?"
"Why are you up in my face like that?"
"Well, because Paimon has never seen your physical form before!"
"Don't we have other things we should worry about?"
"Like what?"
"Like the collapse of both Mondstadt and Liyue's political and military power, or the fact the essential rulers disappeared. Should I mention that the Fatui are probably wondering what happened to their eleventh Harbinger?"
"Ohhhh, yeah. Paimon forgot about that."
"I just hope that Lumine doesn't notice her brother's disappearance."
"Yeah, then we'd have the Abyss Order to also worry about."
"Not to mention the fact that two of the Seven Archons are also missing. Those in Celestia probably felt it."
"Oh Fuck."
"Paimon! Language!"

...So, hi.
When I realised that April Fools Day was coming up, I thought of writing this out as a fun omake chapter. Only to realise that April Fools Day was tomorrow, aka today. And I realised last night. So I spent most of my day today trying to write this out. Procrastinated quite a bit and was busy with other stuff too.
It is currently 11:45pm here in UK. So April Fools day is almost up.
Just want to give you guys a quick update, I'm working on the next chapter and I have everything planned up to Summer Camp. Luck has been on my side as I'm finding it really fortunate that the Genshin Impact Updates actually fit well with each episode and arc on BNHA. I literally have the 1.4 update fitting nicely in the Summer Camp arc so look forward to that. I can't plan further ahead until the next update is announced but yeah.
I will reply to the review in the official chapter 4.
P.S. I noticed while writing this chapter that 4.1 is literally April first. The fourth month, first day.
P.P.S. I wrote this as I went along so there will be errors and such but I don't care cause this was made for fun and shouldn't be taken seriously.
