With a sigh, I sat back down on the bed and held Blizzard in my arms.
"What have I gotten myself Into boy?" I asked as I pet his little head.
A few minutes later there was a knock on my door. I answered it and found Arthur holding a bag of my clothes.
"Uh hey, Dad asked me to bring this to you."
"Thanks" I said with an akward smile.
"Just get ready and come to my room when you're ready to go."
I nodded and closed the door behind him.
Digging through my bag, I grabbed my favorite pair of black wripped jeans, grey baseball style tshirt with a skull and purple Rose's on it. Black convers and the purple necklace and earrings J gave me.
Grabbing my purse and cell phone, I said goodbye to Blizzard and walked towards Arthur's room.
I only knocked once before Arthur opened it and stood there in a brown zipped up jacket and black pants.
"Hey, I was thinking. I know were supposed to go to this costume place or whatever. But you wanna grab a coffee or something first? My treat" he said giving my that shy smile once again.
"Sure, let's go" I said smiling back.
We walked down the stairs together and found Jack holding a sleeping Milly In his arms.
"Isn't she precious? She went out like a light after I fed her a bottle" said Jack In a soft voice.
Both Arthur and I awwwed at her.
"If you need any help with her just give me a call" I said feeling completely nervous about leaving my baby alone with him.
"Oh I'll have no trouble at all my dear Scarlett, after all I've cared for two babies of my own.'
Arthur rolled his eyes at that statement and motioned for me to fallow him.
"We'll be back Dad" Arthur said as we walked to the door.
"Bye kids,Be back by 4" Jack said.
"What are we in highschool?" I said to Arthur with a giggle as we got into bozos car.
He laughed along with me..but it was this weird high pitched laugh.
He looked embarrassed and began to blush.
I just lifted my shoulders and scrolled through my phone for the rest of the car ride.
"Hey if I give you guys some money, will you get me something?' Bozo asked once he pulled up to the starbucks.
"Sure, what do you want?' I asked.
Bozo motioned for me to come closer.
I raised an eyebrow but did as I was told, "A unicorn frappuccino, small with extra whipped cream" he whispered.
I looked up at him to see if he was serious, but by the look on his face I could tell that's what he really wanted.
"Uh, okay sure. Be back in a few" I said with a quick smile.
"What was that about?"Arthur asked as we stood in line.
"Guess bozo was embarrassed of his drink order. Not many want a unicorn frappuccino" I said with a shrug.
"A what?" Arthur asked with a chuckle.
"You'll see what I mean."
After having to repeat our order about 3 frekin times to the barrista. We finally got our coffee.
I got a small toasted white chocolate frappe. Arthur ordered himself a medium dark roast coffee. And even though we had to wait 10 minutes, the unicorn frappuccino came out looking very pretty. Pink and blue with whipped cream and shimmery sprinkles ontop.
"Well isnt that just a beautiful rainbow of diabetes in a cup" said Arthur making us both burst with laughter.
We were just about to walk out, when I noticed a girl sitting by herself at a nearby table. And looking sad as she played with her small purple cellphone.
She was very skinny, beautiful face, although it had a few tattoos on it. One spelled out the word Rotten and the other was a small heart on her cheek.
She was dressed in a red tank top with black diamonds on it. Black jean shorts, black knee high socks, and red convers. She had long blonde hair that almost seemed white on color, styled in two low ponytails down her back. What stood out most about her was that the ends of her pony tails were two different colors. One pink and one blue.
I dont usually stare at strangers, but for some reason or another, I couldnt take my eyes off her.
Suddenly by accident, her cellphone fell from her hand and hits the ground with a small clacking sound.
Quickly handing bozos drink to Arthur, I kneeled down and picked it up.
"Here you go, hope it's not broken' I said with a reassuring smile.
"Thanks hun, that's very sweet of you" she said looking at me with her big blue eyes.
"Umm..not to sound strange but..do I know you?" I asked.
She smiled big at me and stretched out her hand.
"Harley Quinn, nice to meet ya' she said with a thick boston accent.
"Um you too, I'm Scarlett."
"Wait..Scarlett?..Scarlett Wilson?" She asked.
I nodded.
"Girl, we went to highschool together. It's me, Harleen.'
My face lit up like a damn Christmas tree.
"Oh my god!!"
We both squealed as we threw our arms around one another.
I'm sure Arthur and pretty much everyone else was staring at us.But who gives a damn? It's not every day you're reunited with your old bestfriend from high school.
