The Trouble With Pets

Chapter 6

"Shh!" Iruka giggled as Kakashi grabbed his ass while their kiss broke. He pushed the brunette's back up against the cabin's front door and kissed him again.

Iruka moaned softly, arching his back. It had been so long since he'd been with anyone… Fuck, he missed this. But it was so much better with Kakashi. Iruka reached under his shirt, gently raking his nails down Kakashi's back.

"Minx," Kakashi grinned, rolling his hips against Iruka's. The movement drew another moan from Iruka as he wrapped his legs around his waist. He wanted to be even closer. It was intoxicating, the taste of him, his scent-his lean muscular body. "Are you sure you're not part Neko?"

Iruka just giggled. But he was enjoying the sexy body that was holding him up so easily. He knew that Kakashi worked out when Sasuke was training on his days off during the week between fights. It made Iruka a little self conscious, because he liked working out too. But with his desk job, he had less time to devote to it- especially with Naruto around. The fox wasn't at all interested in exercising. Though he wondered if that would change with Sasuke around...

Still, Iruka was in good shape too, he just wasn't absurdly ripped. He couldn't wait to run his tongue all over the sculpted cage of his abs- and then lower.

This was ridiculous. They were making out like a couple of teenagers on the doorstep… He should be embarrassed. And yet he couldn't bring himself to let go. He'd wanted this man for years- since the first time he saw him, actually.

And Kakashi even flirted with him that day- a lot. Sadly, Iruka was unaware that his boyfriend was already cheating on him at the time, so Kakashi turned his attention to the ladies…

Iruka kissed him again, then sighed, disentangling himself. "W-We should go check on the boys. I'd rather not give the neighbors anything else to giggle about."

"Alright, alright." Kakashi grinned, putting him down only to kiss him again. Iruka returned it, sucking on his tongue for a moment before turning to unlock the door.

Once his back was turned, Kakashi started kissing his neck from behind. Iruka moaned, barely able to get the door open before tugging him inside.

Once they were safely inside, Kakashi grinned, pulling Iruka back into his arms. "Are you sure this isn't the wine talking?"

"I'm not the only one who had half a glass with dessert." Iruka jumped into his arms and kissed him again. "I'm not drunk. But you should probably take me to bed or you might lose me forever."

"Your room or mine?"

"Mine; there's lube in there…"

"Actually, I came prepared too. But okay, that bed is bigger than mine."

"You did not."

"Yeah, I did. I told you I didn't want to leave anything unsaid this time… I've loved you forever. I was wondering if you wanted to try making this permanent…"

"Y-Yes," Iruka said, melting into his lover's arms. "Of course. But we should find the boys first."

"They're probably nesting in the extra room. That or Sasuke has dragged Naruto up into a random tree somewhere."

"You think he could?"

"Are you kidding? Sasuke could toss the Suburban if he ever decided he wanted to."

"I know that. I just mean I hope they're in the house where it's safe. What if strange humans or worse- another exotic found them? Without us here to release their collar status Sasuke could die if another fight broke out!"

"Sasuke's smart. They'll be mating inside- for tomorrow and probably the next few days, until they're more used to each other."

"I guess you didn't see them when they almost mated out in the yard… A freight train might not have stopped them."

"Most exotics Sasuke's age wouldn't have stopped for anything. Not without a shock from their collar to literally knock them out anyway. Come on, let's go check the room. They're probably already awake."

"This is so embarrassing." Iruka giggled as they trudged up the stairs to the bedrooms.

"What is?"

"They're going to know what we've been up to… We're almost a half hour late!"

"I can take your mind off of it..." Kakashi purred, leaning in for a soft kiss that had Iruka trying to take his lover's shirt off, standing in the hall.

Blushing as the kiss broke, Iruka elbowed him in the ribs and walked over to the extra room. It's door had been open earlier, it was closed now but there were no sounds coming from it.

Iruka knocked very lightly and then opened the door just enough to stick his head in. "You two okay?"

Sasuke nodded lazily. He had been listening to them since they got into the driveway. He was happy for the two humans for finally taking a chance on each other.

But Naruto was sleeping and instinct was making him wary because he was tired. He didn't want to be pulled away from the fox right now. They needed this time to get used to each other.

"You're not still hungry or anything?" Iruka sasked, honestly he was glad when Sasuke shook his head and snuggled into Naruto's slight shoulder. "Okay, goodnight then."

"Goodnight," Sasuke nodded back as the door quietly closed between them.

The first thing that Sasuke noticed in the morning was the strong, sharp teeth nipping and nibbling their way down his back. One particular spot on the back of his neck just to the right of his spine made his whole body shiver with pleasure when Naruto licked it, sucked on it and then nipped it again.

Sasuke tried to roll onto his stomach, but Naruto coiled himself around him possessively and Sasuke sighed, giving in. Naruto pressed up against him from behind, his hips looking to gain better access to his hole.

Sasuke purred as he rolled just enough to raise one leg to the side. Being both strong and flexible was nice. Naruto moaned as he slid into him. For a long moment, Naruto didn't move until Sasuke grabbed him over his shoulder and kissed him.

They both shivered as Naruto panted against his neck, then nipped him again. "S-Sasuke… you feel so good around me… I-Is this okay?"

"Always." Sasuke purred, nuzzling his mate before kissing him passionately. He was getting frustrated by his inability to meet Naruto's thrusts though. Their awkward position made it hard for him to move without breaking Naruto's rhythm. "Roll on your back."

Naruto did and Sasuke mounted him immediately, easily. The fox moaned as Sasuke settled over his hips and then began to move. Sasuke's head tipped back as he rode him and Naruto couldn't resist licking his throat and then biting it.

"S-So good, Naruto." Sasuke moaned. He was getting close, especially after that bite. His cock was so hard that it hurt, but he didn't let Natuto touch it. He wanted to ride him some more. It felt too good to stop.

Naruto moaned, watching his mate move on top of him. He was trying to buck up into him but that didn't last long. The cat was heavy and he didn't seem to want him to move.

"Oh, Sasuke…" Naruto moaned, he could feel the cat's inner muscles moving, squeezing his cock deliciously. As Sasuke came he finally rolled him over, putting the cat on his back and thrust deep inside him again, taking him over and over. Sasuke was covered in their cum, but he didn't seem to mind as Naruto finally collapsed on top of him. "Will it always feel like this?"

"What?"

"W-When we mate- will it always be this good?"

Sasuke pulled him into a kiss that had the fox moaning against him. When the kiss broke the blond was hard again. "I hope so."

But that was as far as they got before there was a quiet knock at their door. "Why don't you two have a shower and then come and join us for breakfast. We're having Belgian waffles, eggs and sausage, Sasuke."

Sasuke growled but managed to slide out of bed anyway. He loved eggs and sausage- especially right beside a Belgian waffle topped with strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Iruka made the best homemade strawberry syrup ever.

"A what?" Naruto asked no one in particular.

"Belgian waffles are like pancakes but crisp on the outside and-"

"But that's not fair- I don't smell any food yet," Naruto groused. "I didn't want to stop."

Sasuke nuzzled him but was unable to resist teasing him. "Who's the one obsessed with mating now?"

"Hey. It's your fault." Naruto said stiffly. "You started it…"

"And I'll be finishing it in a few more days," Sasuke purred in a low voice. "Come on, I need a shower. Breakfast will be ready when we get done."

Naruto sighed. "How do you know?"

"Because our shower is going to take a while, Dobe." Sasuke purred.

Iruka and Kakashi were both a little nervous when Sasuke and Naruto finally joined them in the kitchen for breakfast.

"I see the purple lights on your collar turned pink last night…" Kakashi said. Sasuke nodded, he'd noticed it before his shower.

"What's wrong?" Sasuke asked after taking a bite of his first waffle. "Are you two fighting already?"

Kakashi sighed. There was no hiding anything from Sasuke. "No, of course not! He's agreed to be my boyfriend now, actually. But... Iruka is going into town for a while this morning with Naruto. I want you to stay here with me."

"W-Why?"

"Because you're supposed to be on vacation. Millions of people have watched you fight on TV. And that probably includes some of the people in this town."

"Then I was right. You're hiding me. From who?"

"I'm hiding too now that the press conference is over. I won't be going anywhere either until it's time to go back to Konoha."

"You mean I can't go anywhere?"

"You can play all you want in the woods. But stay away from the front of the house. Someone followed Iruka and I part of the way home last night. It was probably just some crazy reporter looking for pictures. But we can't take the chance that they are connected to your collar tampering. I've told Tsunade and she agrees. You need to rest and hide- for the cubs if nothing else."

"But he gets to go?"

"Naruto's not the world's most famous hybrid and they're just going to the grocery store. You hate the grocery store."

"Infamous, you mean. And, I like stores. I just don't like the car rides to get there."

"Once we're back in Konoha you can hang out a little more. But for now you need to be careful. Your heart needs to heal, remember? That makes things dangerous for the cubs."

"Wait- Sasuke's having cubs already?" Naruto asked worriedly. He was afraid that the babies would be taken away. He didn't want that to happen to anyone else- especially his mate…

Sasuke nodded. "That's what the pink lights on this side and this side mean. It tells strange humans to be extra careful around me."

"How come there are so many lights? I never really noticed them before." Naruto touched the collar around his neck curiously.

"The blue one shows our mood. It flashes red when a hybrid gets angry and the collar will administer a tranquilizer automatically. The pink one is for breeding status- it's usually purple- like the one on your collar. And the green one means my collar is in safe mode. That's so humans know it's okay to approach. If that light was red it would mean safety mode is shut off, so I have permission to fight. That means everyone- human or hybrid should stay away- especially if the blue light starts flashing red at the same time. Understand?"

Naruto sighed. "That gave me a headache. Ruka- do I have to go to the store? I want to stay here with Sasuke."

"You can't mate twenty four seven, Naru." Iruka smiled, rubbing his pet behind the ears. "Besides, I want you to see more of the world."

"Can't I just see it on TV?"

"No, silly. I mean up close. You can't be afraid of humans. Most of them are more scared of you than you are of them. And the others are just curious. Going into town will be good for you. Besides, you can help me carry in the groceries. Let's build up those muscles like Sasuke's."

Naruto looked a bit interested in that last bit, but he still sighed. "But I like it here… It's so quiet, and Sasuke's here!"

"He will be here when we get back. Come on, It'll be fun. It'll only take about an hour, then you can come home and play in the lake."

"Are you sure I have to go?"

"Naruto," Iruka said in a firm voice. "We're not leaving until after breakfast is cleaned up. But we are going. Okay?"

"Yeah," Naruto sighed and immediately latched onto the human's waist.

"Good boy." Iruka said, hugging the fox close to his chest. "So, what are you going to do while we're gone, Sasuke?"

"Train," Sasuke said and shoveled another fork fill of sausage and eggs into his mouth.

"You're supposed to be resting," Kakashi said calmly.

"I'm not stupid. You said we're hiding. That means you think there's actual danger. I can't let anyone hurt you- any of you."

"Sasuke, for now we're just hiding from the reporters. You've hated cameras since you were a cub. And if the paparazzi figure out where you are, then the jerks who messed with your collar could find us."

"That's why I'm going to practice."

"You've only had three days off. You don't need to practice. But I'll give you a half hour. Then you go do something fun- like take a nap in a tree or something."

"Fine…" Sasuke sighed. He dragged the last bite of his second waffle through the puddle of strawberry syrup on his plate. "Breakfast is great, Iruka-sensei."

"Thanks, I make the syrup just for you," Iruka said, stroking the cat's ears.

"I tried some too," Kakashi said. "It was great."

"Thanks."

"Aren't you going to pet me too?" Kakashi teased.

Iruka blushed and kissed Sasuke on the top of his head. "Maybe later…"

Sasuke glanced at Naruto and smirked. "I told you they'd be happy if they mated."

"Humans don't mate. They fall in love, remember, Sasuke?"

Sasuke knew they'd talked about this a lot when he was little. But now that he was bigger, it seemed so much easier to understand. "But I love Naruto, isn't it the same thing?"

"Well, for most hybrids I'd say no. But you're special. And so is Naruto. Anyway, just let me get these dishes done and we'll go. Okay Naruto?"

Naruto sighed and followed Sasuke outside after they put their dishes in the sink.

"I don't want to go without you," Naruto said quietly. He put his arms around Sasuke.

"Going outside is fun," Sasuke said, purring against him. "I wish I could go. Just think of it as having Iruka all to yourself again for a while."

"I guess. But you get to stay here and train. How do you do that? I've never seen anyone training before. Iruka doesn't like fighting."

"Well, Master Jiraiya-sensei isn't here so I'm probably just going to do some of my katas."

"What are those?"

"Each kata is a series of punches, kicks and other attacks that you can use to fight with. Once you get used to repeating the kata over and over you can strike harder and faster in the ring. I don't usually practice my katas as much anymore. I've been more focused on strength training for a while now. But there's no gym here so there are no weights to lift."

"So, how do you know when you've trained enough to be a fighter?"

"You'll never really know that until you win. But, the hard part is to stay sharp enough to keep winning. Or, at least that's what Master Jiraiya-sensei says."

"What does sensei mean? You say it all the time to Iruka and Kakashi…"

"Sensei is a teacher. Jiraiya sensei watches me when I train. He actually trains a lot of fighters. Usually he just tells me to move faster or add twenty five more pounds to whatever I'm lifting. It's kind of annoying, actually. But I hate losing."

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, that would be awful… because you could die, right?"

"Most hybrids will back off when an opponent goes down and stays there. But some of the really big hybrids like Kisame, Han and Killer Bee don't seem to care if the fight is over. But Haku and Gaara are two of the best fighters I've ever seen and they're the same size as I am but they don't like to kill their opponents either."

"Who are they?"

"They're both mutts. Gaara is part raccoon and part lion. Haku is a combination of wolf and jaguar.

"What? A raccoon and a lion? That doesn't make any sense!"

Sasuke grinned. "Our cubs will be half fox, half leopard, you know."

"Yeah, but everyone says they're going to be gorgeous so it's okay."

"Naru!" Iruka called from the front door. "Come on, it's time to go."

Naruto smiled and kissed Sasuke on the lips before running off to join his human.

Sasuke sighed, watching him go. "They'll be gorgeous as long as they don't get sold into the arena…"

Sasuke took his shirt off and draped it over the railing of the deck. He was covered in scars. Dozens of them, some of them even had newer scars torn right through them! How he managed not to lose an eye or get his face scratched up too he didn't know.

"Kaka-sensei," Sasuke called out. "Turn safe mode off."

"Done. I'm turning it back on in exactly a half hour so don't go too far or scare anyone. Better yet, let's just try to stay in the yard while you're training. I don't like the idea of you going for a run and a reporter or some random hiker posting your picture online."

He didn't want that to happen either. The lights on his collar were bright. They could be seen easily on even the blackest night. Meaning it would be very obvious very quickly that he was pregnant. And the last thing he needed was the people targeting him to hurt the babies instead.

He still didn't want to be a mother. But it was too late to worry about that now. If he were at the Agency he could simply have them transferred to an artificial womb like many of the purebreds he'd grown up with did. This was usually done so that the most expensive purebreds could have more litters more often. But Sasuke didn't want to leave the cabin. And the gestation period for leopards was only three months.

The store was a busy place, Naruto quickly decided. And many of the people there looked at him and smiled. "What a cute fox!"

There were a few people who were afraid of him. But most were friendly and wanted to pet him! Iruka didn't let them get close though, telling them that Naruto was shy and just waking up from his nap in the car.

By the time they were half way through the store, Naruto was smiling happily at everyone they passed by. He liked this place. Not only were the people nice, but Iruka was letting him buy whatever he wanted today!

"Excuse me, sir?"

A woman in a green sundress sneered. "Shouldn't you take that filthy hybrid outside? And shouldn't you least put a leash on him! What if that thing eats my daughter?"

Naruto was shocked. And scared. Iruka scowled at her, but before he could say anything, one of the other people spoke.

"Lady," Another woman said. "Get over yourself. This little fox is obviously a pet and one who is loved a great deal. Go find someone else to nag at."

"Y-You're really not going to make that man put a leash on that thing in your store?"

"No."

"Well then, I guess I'll do the rest of my shopping in the town across the lake!"

"Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!" The woman then turned to Iruka and smiled. "I'm so sorry about that. Some vacationers are just jerks. They come from the big city where everyone has to have a leash on their exotic. Good grief. I'm so sorry you had that happen to you in my store."

"Thanks, Liz." Iruka said as they paid for their things.

"And how are you doing, little Fox? Are you okay too?"

Naruto looked at Iruka smiling down at him and nodded, offering the woman his best smile.

"It's so nice to finally see you with a pet again, Iruka. Have a good day."

"What did she mean, again? I thought I was your first pet!"

Iruka sighed. "That lady has worked at this store since I was a kid. The cabin we live in belonged to my grandpa. And I used to bring Sasuke here when he was a cub. I planned to adopt him… But Madara sold him to the actor that hurt him before I could. The actor paid a lot more for him than I ever could have."

"But who's that?"

"Madara is the human who bred Sasuke. He still owns Sasuke's parents, one of his cousins and his full brother too. And Kakashi said he wants Sasuke back."

"But Sasuke's mine!" Naruto protested. He hurried to help put the groceries into the car, not caring that a lot of them fell over and now there were limes and apples all over the foot wells. But all he wanted was to see Sasuke again. To make sure he was okay. Madara sounded like a bad guy, what if he got him back?
